NZ is close to winning this match too and another horrible performance from Indian team. Kohli's back-toback dismissal is a bad sign now and he needs to be rested if they want to win in the test matches. Chahal managed 2 wickets but still they have crossed 159 and less than half the number of runs left to chase with Taylor coming in. Saini or Chahal need him OUT for a slight chance of winning this match.

Hi,

I received also 888888 Kick Tokens.

I treid to send them to KuCoin but I got an error when I sent them.

https://etherscan.io/tx/0x4b0dfa080df2fa50dbe5704614d213f61933b8d9aade2cd924bcc56ff38c8970

Whats the problem there??

Are the coins locked - so no one can send them?

They will be frozen only till they declare what conditions you need to fulfill to unlock them. You need to use them on their own exchange after completing KYC and some more requirements.

Interesting marketing strategy to get people to sign up for an exchange, I have a feeling as those tokens start to get unfrozen the value will drop quite a bit.

I don't think it will drop drastically as most users who have received the tokens may not even try to get them unlocked as KYC requirements need to be fulfilled.

I like to talk about tomorrow's match between India and New Zealand. I see in freebitco.in, many people are betting on India whereas New Zealand already showed their ability in ODI in last 2 matches. I guess people are thinking like India may fight hard to prevent a whitewash, but not that will be possible with such a weak openers and Kohli is also not doing up to his level in New Zealand conditions.

Even tomorrow match will be a dead rubber, I feel it would too hard to predict the winner. My instincts also says India will prevent a whitewash but that could be possible only when India do some changes in their batting line up.

I don't think India will manage to win this match too without Rohit playing and new inexperienced batsmen. I feel Kohli has lost his confidence and form and is not playing like the old Kohli I knew who used to easily manage 100 runs in ODIs while I am happy to see Jadeja still in form. Have my hopes on Iyer so still it's like 40-60 chances for India. The batting lineup will remain the same probably as it's the last ODI.
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] KICKICO - PLATFORM FOR FUNDRAISING ON CRYPTOCURRENCY on: February 10, 2020, 11:44:29 AM

From my understanding the referral tokens are for Exchange trading fee's and locked to the exchange only, not the dropped 888888 in peoples ETH wallet. It can be traded for what ever other crypto to any other exchange with Kick listed and banked providing they're unlocked with the conditions met.

OK but I still feel sending these airdropped tokens to users is just spamming as the users have not asked for the airdrop tokens and plus, some never even took part in the project earlier or held any tokens earlier so they consider it another shitcoin.

I just could read and understand that account holders have agreed to the abiding rules and could't get what it means. They said they altered the legal position of the Account Holders too. Is there any mention of the account holders getting back their crypto assets?

I read this article after reading this thread: https://www.coinspeaker.com/germany-law-banks-cryptocurrency/

I am not sure how it works as if banks hold crypto on behalf of their clients, what happens if a hack takes place which is the most common thing for any exchange these days. Also, can't find any information about the interest rates and other services like deposits etc.

Why you think tokens will never be unlocked? It says here that:

Quote
Please note that FrozenDrop tokens will not ‘unlock’ by themselves in any time given. To unlock the tokens, you’ll need to meet certain simple conditions that we’ll publish after KickEX exchange is launched. Kick Team deliberately does not disclose the terms yet, since many competitors have their eyes on our mechanism and the know-how terms will be published after the release of KickEX.

We'll see what conditions, but they say we just need to meet some simple conditions.

The tokens were sent last year as a frozen airdrop and obviously they won't be so easily unlocked as they have given 888888 tokens as an airdrop which were worth about 8 cents each in their ICO. I worked for the project's bounty program and it is sad that they decided to airdrop frozen tokens as earlier they used to give monthly dividends to token holders.

Those conditions include KYC and also they made clear that it can be used only on KickEX exchange and not any other exchange.
348  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin withdrawal fee is damn high in exchanges! on: February 09, 2020, 08:55:56 AM
Because that's how they make money (or at least cover their operational fees), even non-cryptocurrency exchange also have high withdraw fees.

Exchanges mint from listing fee so that's not true. They ask for high fee and just add 1% of that amount as the real fee plus they have trading fee.

I have lost over $200-300 just as withdrawal fees on exchanges as even for a small amount they charge 0.001 BTC and hence I prefer withdrawing ETH where the charge is 0.01 ($2) on most exchanges as many fiat exchanges also accept ETH deposits. That's the best option.
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why are exchanges still listing shitcoins? on: February 09, 2020, 08:39:28 AM

It's not that they are not interested, it is because it is not their job to research backgrounds of the coins they list in their platform, as long as that coin has its own price, and of course as long as they pay the right amount of money to be listed in a certain exchange, shitcoin will continue to exist, and even if it just shitcoins, other people are still relying on its small price and use that in their everyday living, we don't have to be bitter that much towards shitcoins.

I'm not promoting shitcoins but money is still money, what is just annoying about them is we spend a lot of time on their bounty hoping to get a decent amount of profits in their tokens but got disappointed at the end.

I sent them a mail asking them why they listed the coin without any website or team information and guess what, they did not reply. They are clearly not interested in answering such questions and won't be using this BitMart exchange ever.
350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] KICKICO - PLATFORM FOR FUNDRAISING ON CRYPTOCURRENCY on: February 09, 2020, 08:36:01 AM
Is it possible to sell it on decentralized exchannges ?

I don't think so as if you could send these tokens, they wouldn't just distribute them to 167,375 addresses. The value of the token has been pumped and hence those 888888 tokens are worth $400+ because of this airdrop promotion. The tokens will never be unlocked.

Happy that the loss was of 22 runs instead of 143 runs when Iyer got out. Jadeja proved to be the best batsmen and bowler today when the top order failed completely and still got the highest runs in the match (more than even Iyer) plus took 1 wicket. We are missing allrounders like Jadeja who are good with the bat and ball. Saini surprised me getting 45 runs with an SR of 91. So it's just not Rohit but the entire team that needs to rethink why they can't perform as a team.
352  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: February 08, 2020, 08:43:03 AM

If they win the match, and thereby the series, then it will be a big upset. Especially after the 0-5 whitewash during the T20 series. But Jadeja is still there, and the required rate is still under 7 runs per over. The Indians would still be fancying their chances. Just to add here, the Indian tailenders are capable of batting a bit (especially Shardul Thakur and and Yuzvendra Chahal).

Indian bowlers are not as good as England or even Australian bowlers to bat under pressure and get half the score with a RRR of 6+.

Also, now Thakur is gone, bowled. India are just losing the match but want them to lose it with dignity and not 100+ runs which is the case here. It's embarrassing that such a good team on paper are unable to perform for 50 overs. They played T20 so well just a week ago.

Missing Rohit:

Shreyas is out so hope is also gone. Bennet, Southee both managed to take the big wickets and with this NZ will win the series too with maybe a washout as don't have hopes for the next ODI too. Feeling lost with the big players also failing, we are neither good in batting nor bowling now.

Feeling bad that Jadeja is taking all the trouble to make runs and struggling with a bowler on the field. If here I have lost hope, it's so good to see that the batsmen out there knowing they will lose still never lose hope  Cry
354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: February 08, 2020, 08:18:24 AM
Do they want to lose this match too. The bowlers of NZ are playing so well but Indian batsmen aren't able to face Southee. I don't feel Shreyas would manage all on his own as 149 runs are left and only Jadeja is present to support him. Disappointed with Virat and Rahul today.
355  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger's Valentine's Offer on: February 07, 2020, 07:32:00 PM
People (I mean reputed resellers) can literally sell the other device locally and earn profit so this way Ledger would lose. They could simply sell Ledger Nano X at a discount but now I can see the price of Ledger Nano X and the combo price is the same. Earlier they were offering discount coupons which was more reasonable.
356  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best exchanges to practice for free? on: February 07, 2020, 07:15:02 PM
The list is here with websites having free demo accounts and even it mentions the fee and BTC pairs: https://www.bitcointradingsites.net/features/demo-mode/

I don't know how useful it can be as unlike forex where demo accounts actually help you a lot to learn market trends with fiat, the altcoin and bitcoin prices are too volatile to even test pairs.
357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: February 07, 2020, 08:27:20 AM
Why was India fined for slow over rate? They lost 80% of their fee and previous lost 40% and 20%. Is the fine only paid by the captain or the entire team?

After losing 2 back-to-back matches against NZ (one last year and this year), I am feeling that it's history repeating. Willaimson will be back in the third ODI while their team of batsmen is similar to their WC squad. India most likely will go with the same order but our opening batsmen are not good enough to sustain till the 10th over.
358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why are exchanges still listing shitcoins? on: February 06, 2020, 07:05:48 PM

Although I'm not in supposedly of the practices of the exchange but still it's our personal duty to care for our investment. Don't use an exchange as a wallet neither should you depend on them for investment guidelines that's, don't go trading a coin or investing in a project, just because it's listed on an exchange you love. Many noobs engage in this practice, you see people buying or trading a coin just because it's listed on Binance not understanding that a project been listed on Binance doesn't guarantee it's a safe investment.

If I'm not mistaking a coin has been dislisted from Binance due to some controversy of the CEO and the law enforcement agencies, users that bought such project without carrying our personal research and relied on Binance for investment advice lost all or most of their funds since the project dump massively.

True that investors should take care before trading coins on exchanges but exchanges that list literally any coin also cannot be trusted. Coinexchange was such that listed all unrecognized shitcoins and people started leaving the exchange. Result was the trading volume was low and they finally shut down their exchange. Such exchanges should be boycotted as earning funds shouldn't be everything. Many exchange delist coins for many reasons but listing a coin without any website is the biggest blunder.

Need several times to reach the website especially through incognito, I'll be carefull to see everything although there is someone who say that the site has been running for a long time.

When I saw the dashbord of the site, trade with zero fee will be active until x date, what that does mean? It means the site will charge the user again? Or it is just promotion to attract many people here?

Yeah, had to verify catcha 2-3 times due to Cloudfare restrictions and still the website doesn't look fully functional as some pages are missing and not translated in English.
