Oh yes! After the post, I made some little research about it and I discovered that it is available for every telegram users to use at their will without having to verify the telegram account. I purposely create the wallet to have more information about it and just like normal wallet, it's very easy to create and even have P2P services. Perhaps, people opt in for this wallet for conveniency but I think security should be top priority before convenience.
Note that this is fully custodial wallet and you have no real control over your funds, you can't even backup anything and you can't recover your funds in some other ton wallet! I would not hold anything on this wallet, especially not Bitcoin and larger amount of coins, only reason is possible to spend few Ton tokens to buy their phone numbers.

Just a simple setting up your web browser to delete all browsing history each time you close it will make a huge difference. Some browsers like Tor don't even store anything by default, but it's not that hard to do something similar for Firefox, Chrome and other browsers. I would also avoid using any crypto browser web wallets if possible.

@Lunorael rade li još normalno one tvoje Trustee Plus virtuelne kartice bez ikakvih problema, i znaš li možda za neku drugu non-kyc alternativu binance fizičkoj kartici? Neke crypto virtualne kartice više ne rade nakon novih propisa i novosti iz Amerike.

Evo jedan novi niskobudžetni film Darkness of Man kao napravljen za SirJohnVonSlotty.

The puzzling thing is, why only crypto developers are facing this? Normal developers get by without any problems at all. I think they are being very selective here.
They are clearly trying to send a message to everyone with this arrests, and they scared many people by doing that. It's not an accident or coincidence that in short time period they arrested Tornado cash developers, Samourai devs, and some of the big names in this space like CZ and Roger ver. I don't even think they have serious legal case against most of this people, especially with Ver who renounced his US citizenship ten years ago. But we should trust their stupid CBDC crap will have any privacy... I will have to repeat this quote more often: “The closer the collapse of the Empire, the crazier it's laws are.” ― Cicero

Litecoin, which signaled MWEB into activation in May 2022, has always been something of a test environment for features later implemented in Bitcoin. Litecoin was the 1st to have SegWit, a Lightning Network, and now MWEB, which is an optional privacy enhancing feature, used by Grin as default. I like what Litecoin is doing with mimble wimble, but they only have one wallet supporting it so far (Litecoin Core), and there is no support for mobile wallets yet. Another important thing to say is that for mweb addresses to be more private we again should use coinjoin for them. Eventually - if/when - we get invaded by aliens, a one-world government might not be such a bad idea. We'll really need to get our shit together. Until then we'll continue to argue with anyone who holds different beliefs than we do.
Aliens are a scam, and they could try creating fake alien invasion, but one world government is never a good idea. It's stupid utopia with goal to make all people into slaves. No point in using Tor, VPN, private email, Graphene OS, Bitcoin, Tails if everyone can see your financial history. That is all that is needed to take you down.
Yeah, it would all be just a security theater, but I think some people are scared they could value of their coins if bitcoin changes anything related with privacy Everyone needs privacy, everyone loves privacy. Even Satoshi wanted to add it.
Sure, he even clearly mentioned Privacy in Bitcoin Whitepaper section 10, but who reads that right...

Why is that the case? Does a mixer try to follow the entire way of Bitcoin funds, and if the "path" is intransparent, mixing is not performed?
No, exchanges are just using some software that is altering them and giving warning about risks if some bitcoin address was connected with reportedly stolen coins. I think this is all very stupid, it has so many flaws because at some point everyone can have some contact with coins like this. Someone recently reported that BlackRock wallet (valued more than $17 Billion) is now tagged for using Tornado cash

The desktop version I really want to look forward to after they add coin control and option to add public on-chain notes to the release version 0.38.0.
I didn't hear any news about that, so I wouldn't wait on that release. Closest open source alternative is Stack wallet for desktop, but it's still in beta and users can experience some bugs. There is also coin control in Stack, but I think they support different coins, Stack is more oriented towards privacy coins.

I think this TTGO has wifi connection embedded? How can anybody use this to store your private keys? Wi-fi is disabled in settings and I know people who are removing wifi chips from this device, they also did the same with RaspberyPi zero. Than again, nobody is really going to use cheap TTGO device to store keys there, it's just a proof of concept, and it's not very usable without camera anyway. I wish there was a DIY device that by default has no wifi at all...
Sure there are, Seedsigner aka Raspberry Pi zero v1.3, Krux aka M5StickV K210 or Maix Amigo, they are all airgapped devices without wifi. https://seedsigner.com/https://selfcustody.github.io/krux/

Well well, it looks like Foundation Passport is holding their ground strong against recent wave of arrests, bans coming from government officials. We are going to have very interesting next few months, and I don't think government is stopping any time soon, they are busy with their own plans and projects like war and cbdc We are not removing the Whirlpool Postmix extension on Passport🌀
We eagerly await the return of Whirlpool and Samourai once their names are cleared and charges are dismissed. https://twitter.com/FOUNDATIONdvcs/status/1788574024160702962

I assume you're concerned about battery life, I used nokia that can lasts for days even with intermittent usage but he all it needs standby or even turning off and on won't be a problem which makes it highly reliable option in my perspective. I don't know the new era keypad mobiles are coming with removable batteries, if they do then I don't see any problem with them.
There are some of them with removable batteries, Fairphone is first thing that pops in my mind, it's open source, and they are even giving away free additional battery with every purchase of Fairphone 4 and Fairphone 5 models. I heard about other alternatives but I don't know how active they are, and there are still cheap dumb phones available in most places. Another phone that is popular with minimalist people who don't like smartphones is CAT S22:

How could I safely generate custom seed phrases offline, and which tools are good for this operation?
Easiest way to do this is by using airgapped hardware wallets since they already support Bitcoins and most of available altcoins. I would only use devices with open source code, something like Keystone would probably work best in your case. If you don't want to pay for hardware wallets than you just need offline laptop with clean Linux OS, or reset old smartphone (best with GrapheneOS or DivestOS) in airplane mode, with wifi and bluetooth disabled. Note that newbies should be very careful doing anything they don't fully understand.

On common sense and wisdom rather on fear. Better to be safe and maintain the development of the good product than be involved into hearing of a case. Sparrow has a good feature, namely PayNym, that allows to keep transactions between contractors in the dark, That is why I prefer to lose the controversial wirlpool mixing feature rather than the whole wallet.
PayNyms exist for years but I still don't know anyone who is using them for any payments I don't think Sparrow developers took any earnings from whirlpool integration and they didn't charge any fees for this, unlike samourai developers, so they should not be in any danger. But if government seriously wants to stop something and make it look bad, they will do it one way or another.

These are not high priority features, the list of updates is
More important feature was added in pervious version, so now Green wallet is finally supporting signing messages with bitcoin. Everything after v2 is big improvement compared to older versions, now Green has much better UI and wallet is more simple to use. I still wouldn't use Green wallet as my main wallet, but it's ok for Liquid assets like L-BTC and L-USDT:

Thanks, I will add it to my backlog
Another hardware wallet for your backlog coming soon - RingWallet. It should be open source and it can even store information from virtual debit cards for payments: https://ringwallet.com/PS I know this is not the first ring shaped hardware wallet, Satochip and Tangem worked on their version, so it's now race who can release working product with better price.

Good article, especially for beginners and people who still don't own any hardware wallet or signing device. I have another hardware wallet you can add to your list, and it's not new device, but just recently I found they are offering something different from other manufacturers. This device is called HASHwallet and it is in form of standard credit card with integrated EAL6+ secure chip. Unique for Hashwallet is that they dont have any firmware updates ever, there is unlimited number of wallets and seed phrases per device, they have key recovery (different from ledger) and inheritance system. Official links: https://www.gethashwallet.com/https://www.gethashwallet.com/faqshttps://www.gethashwallet.com/featuresPS I am not recommending or advertising this product, please do your own research.

Anyone who is creating FAKE conversation in forum and talking with himself by using two or more accounts should not be trusted!
I never heard about Swaps.org, but I would never download and install their software, especially knowing that source code is probably closed source.

Question: I see that affiliation program is available. If so, since eXch is non-KYC, what prevents someone from using their own affiliation link when exchanging to, essentially, reduce the fee? Better to get official reply from the team, but what I heard is that affiliate application needs to be manually reviewed and approved by eXch admin for withdrawal to work. This is usually used by their partners who are using them as third party exchange or someone who is big influencer in the crypto space.

Avoid engaging in illegal activities, and you should have nothing to worry about. We provide a service; whether you choose to use it, and how you use it, is solely your responsibility.
I asked a simple question, why would you need to to verify customer identity, and that has nothing to do with anything illegal. The term "illegal activities" is very subjective, e.g. you can get imprisoned in Russia just for having anti-war position or posting anything negative against the government.
You can also get arrested in Saudi Arabia for talking against Israel even if that was ten years ago... and similar thing is in United States after new law was introduced recently. So it's now illegal in two countries to talk against one specific country in the world

This is really bad, what a loss for us. Every day, a new batch of P2P and privacy-oriented services are closing. I hope that those who remain will be able to hold on...
RIP Agoradesk and LocalMonero Every day I read crypto news I am waiting to see what service is shutting down next... yesterday it was Agoradesk, tomorrow something else... Message from Agoradesk tram gives us some hope with Haveno, Serai, atomic swaps and others, we need to have more usable non-kyc fiat services. Developers should start working on new generation p2p trading services that have no (or minimal) centralization in them, to avoid risks of them being taken down.
