461  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [V2] Big List of Crypto Debit Cards on: February 14, 2024, 11:38:39 AM
The list in the first post needs some updating. Jupiter has been defunct for 3 years, crypterium gives 404, paycent appears to be gone, tenx not working as well.
You can always fork his list and maintain it yourself.
That is what NotATether did with previous list but he didn't updated for months, and I think he works more on other projects.

I dont think there is any KYC-free debit card available anymore or at least I havent found one.
There are, but they are only virtual, not physical cards.

Bitrefill sells prepaid mastercards for cheapest but the only problem is you need residential USA IP to buy them (the prepaid codes work fine worldwide).
Or just use IP address from US.
There is one nice alternative for Bitrefill that works in similar way - thebitcoincompany.com.

The dollar denominated mastercards that Trocador sells are from the same issuer. Trocador euro denominated cards are from different issuer and Ive had best success with them, also a nice 3 years expiry as opposed to 6 months on the mastercard. Only problem is the high fees from trocador.
Bit.store has lower fees for some of their cards, but their support is very poor.
Only cards with 3ds that I know can be found on stealths.net, but do your own research.
462  Economy / Reputation / Re: Where do we draw a line? Signature campaigns or shilling campaigns on: February 14, 2024, 11:13:26 AM
I can see from the operators perspective why they wouldn't want this just like if you were advertising for Pepsi they wouldn't want you advertising for Coca Cola or promoting any other drinks but this would all be laid out in their contract and I think it should be the same here and made part of their rules if it's something they don't want.
Yeah but Pepsi can't make you stop drinking CocaCola and saying that you like it (I don't like both btw) Wink
I personally would never advertise something I don't like, but if you look at advertisement outside bitcointalk it's mostly BS propaganda and people would say anything for the right price  Tongue
For example, does anyone in the right mind really thinks that Cristiano Ronaldo is actually using Binance exchange?
He is one of the biggest paid influencers in the world but I think he never used it in his life, except maybe to dump some tokens binance gave him for free.

There were cases where individuals criticized mixer services, treated them as harmful, and at the same time carried mixer advertisements in their signature.
There is a word for such people, they are hypocrites.
And how about some members who are constantly talking how this services are illegal and in the same time they are wearing gambling signature that is also illegal in their region.  Cheesy
That doesn't prevent them at all to participate in of the biggest spam campaigns in forum.

463  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger Nano X Circus (Battery, Recover and more) on: February 13, 2024, 08:33:31 PM
Considering some of their users have started to warm up the batteries to jump-start it, a part of me thinks this might be a direct result of the following things before he attempted to charge his/her Nano X Grin
It seems that ledger wallet manufacturer found a perfect partner in die hard ledger customers  Roll Eyes
I am waiting to hear news about ledger exploding soon.

When Ledger's key extraction firmware gets hacked, I expect the hacker to steal as many keys as possible before draining wallets.
As much as I don't like ledger and what they are doing I still think it's not easy for single hacker to get a hold of all seed words data.
More likely this could be coordinated joined attack of multiple parties, maybe pushed by one or more governemnts.

464  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I'm looking for someone who will help me with my project acechange.io on: February 13, 2024, 08:04:15 PM
Thank you, but we are just 4 developers without funding, doing this because we believe in BTC.
So you are saying that you want to find someone to work with you and promote your website for free?

For example, you can send money via PAYPAL, and your recipient in China can receive cash. However, investors from the US and other countries have a mistrust towards small countries like Slovakia, or at least that's how it was explained to us.   We simply don't have the money for advertising campaigns.
I don't understand how you don't have any money when you have 1000 customers and worldwide money transfer solution like you say.
As for statement that people don't trusting small countries like Slovakia, I don't think this is true.
I know plenty of projects with people working from all around the world, nobody cares where you ilive.
465  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: List of VPN Service Providers - 2023 on: February 13, 2024, 07:49:34 PM
But DNS blocking is hard, because there's a bunch of illegal betting websites around, to the point where even professional athletes were banned for using them.
Yeah well that is why some people came up with solution to ban everything related with gambling, porn and other things with using third party software.
DNS blocking is not that hard, you just need to have list of blocked websites that is constantly updated with new domains.

Since we currently talk about blocking feature, today Mullvad announce content blocking for their free DNS[1]. The interesting part is they share list of blocked sites[2].
Very nice.
I don't know if you guys know this, but it's easy to add their DNS address in your smartphone settings, and there will be no more ads on internet, except in apps maybe.
You don't even have to use Mullvad VPN to have this.

466  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Is rabbit.io is the best way to swap crypto on: February 13, 2024, 07:32:54 PM
I think it supports Bitcoin too. See the total list of coins this wallet supports.
https://rabbit.io/coins
You are right.
First time I see this wallet and I mixed it up with Rabby wallet from rabby.io, that is not supporting bitcoin.
I will have to do more testing to see how it works, but I wish they had version that could be downloaded and installed, not only web version.
It is easier to attack web wallets and scam users with fake phishing websites.
Another thing I noticed, Rabbit wallet only support Bitcoin, ethereum and another shitcoin.

As for their swap feature, this is done by using third-party services and exchanges.
I would first read the terms before doing any swaps there:
https://rabbit.io/docs/legal/swap-terms-of-use.html
https://rabbit.io/docs/legal/swap-privacy-policy.html

467  Economy / Reputation / Re: Where do we draw a line? Signature campaigns or shilling campaigns on: February 13, 2024, 06:02:28 PM
So the question is, should the forum introduce any rules on compelled/restricted posting, or do we let anything go, including shilling campaigns?
I don't think icopress ever asked for any shilling, both publicly or in private, but members should not change opinions and posts based on signature they wear.

The essence of this conversation comes down to the fact that you need to respect the advertising opportunities that are available to you. And also the fact that in my eyes it looked like Wasabi was paying for Sparrow advertising. There's nothing wrong with saying "I use" (any brand you like), but when you say "I recommend" and list several similar wallets, then I believe that mentioning a project that spends resources on the campaign is an issue of ethics.
I would understand your point if this member would publicly talk against using Wasabi wallet and wear wasabi wallet signature in the same time, but I don't think he did that (I would like to see his post).
Sparrow wallet should not be directly compared to Wasabi, I always compared it more with Electrum wallet, and it's coinjoin feature is only optional and done with different third party wallet implementation.

Allow me to surprise you:
Yeah, but they also said what they don't like about Bisq, and we should all be able to say that Wink

468  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: OWNR Wallet! Buy, exchange and store crypto. Order Visa prepaid card! on: February 13, 2024, 05:44:43 PM
I found few things in your blog articles that are not always correct.
You say that hardware wallets are not offering high accessibility, since they require a computer to use, and gain access to the crypto assets. but this is not always the case.
There are hardware wallets that can be used without computer and/or they can use mobile device instead, and some of them are fully airgapped like Passport.
469  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit didnt help me as Gambling Addicted - not closing main account on time on: February 13, 2024, 05:07:15 PM
Why are you putting words in their mouth? They stated the reverse. They allowed both of the accounts.
So why only closed one of my two accounts and not both?
I am not putting anything in anyone mouth, and I have the full right to interpret what is written in their terms, especially in light of your accusation.
If you want to get rid of this this issue you have to be criticized by someone and you won't see me helping you with your addiction, but I am not defending Rollbit either.
They should obviously return you money you sent them, but it seems that you will never learn anything that way, so I am not sure this is good for you Tongue

470  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit didnt help me as Gambling Addicted - not closing main account on time on: February 12, 2024, 08:26:39 PM
They allow multiple accounts. This is a fact and it is easy to find in their terms and faq.
You are right.
They also have this written in their terms and faq page:

Quote
We may terminate or suspend Your Account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if You breach these Terms and Conditions.

Upon termination, Your right to use the Service will cease immediately. If You wish to terminate Your Account, You may simply discontinue using the Service.
https://rollbit.com/terms-and-conditions

Quote
We reserve the right to disable accounts that have been created with the intention to abuse our bonus, coupon and chat features. Creating new accounts to circumvent our Sportsbook limits is considered abuse. Please do not do this!
https://rollbit.com/faq

You created another account to circumvent self-limit you made on their casino.
I can interpret they have the full right to disable your account because you tried to circumvent previous deal you made with them for self-exclusion.  Tongue
You can't expect to get rid of addiction, gamble in the same time, and expect casinos to play games with you.
471  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: List of VPN Service Providers - 2023 on: February 12, 2024, 08:13:34 PM
Just wondering, how will VPN that you can turn off with one click, will exclude you from gambling?
It would probably work better than asking casinos to self-exclude you, when you can easily register new account and/or use different casino.
Setting custom DNS can be done even without using any VPN, this can be on network or router level, and yes this is self-censorship that actually works.

In order to combat gambling addiction there are better ways to do it other than using a VPN to block certain websites (after all a user doesn't even need a VPN for that when you can create a list for blocked websites in uBlock Origin for example.). I easily see opposite happen - gambling addicts instead using VPN services to access gambling websites that may have been blocked on their country.
I didn't propose that VPN should be used just for this purpose, but I simply stated that DNA based self-censorship is very effective way and it has real use cases.
uBlock origin is something I use every day, but simple using of different browser would bypass any restrictions you made.

Also, as a note, every licensed casino/gambling company has to offer a self exclusion procedure[1] that can be used by any client (see for example this[2] one from bet365) in order to prevent them from using the service.
Yes, and there are thousands of different casinos they can use.
Today I saw one example in Scam Accusation of one guy who got self-exclusion but they accepted him again with different account:

472  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [V2] Big List of Crypto Debit Cards on: February 12, 2024, 07:55:46 PM
A normal clause. This basically means that if a user uses the service to commit fraud, and they have to go to court because of it, that user will have to compensate them for that "loss". Now where did they get this value? I don't know...
Typical BS coming from China  Tongue
I wonder how are they planning to find someone who registered without kyc, using random name and email address.
All they can do if cards are used for some fraud or illegal stuff is to freeze account with leftover funds, and prevent access on their platform.
Situation is much different if user makes a full kyc registration with all personal details, or if someone hacks his account and uses cards for some fraud.

I found another service that offers prepaid cards:
https://trocador.app/en/prepaidcards/
I know about this service, but I never used their cards.
473  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Is rabbit.io is the best way to swap crypto on: February 12, 2024, 07:48:53 PM
I have recently used rabbit wallet and found it quite interesting. The good thing is that it is open source and decentralized.
Not it's not because it does not support Bitcoin, but it appears to be better option than metamask wallet if you are only interested in shitcoins.

Is this wallet safe to store our cryptocurrencies and can be used as an alternative to the unstoppable wallet or trust wallet?
This is a hot wallet unless you are using it in combination with hardware wallets, and it is totally different from unstoppable wallet.
Solid alternative for Unstoppable wallet that actually supports Bitcoin, monero and other coins is called Stack wallet.
474  Economy / Exchanges / Re: eXch - instant exchange BTC / LN / XMR / LTC / ETH / ERC20 on: February 12, 2024, 07:44:22 PM
SimpleX is only attended by the core admin who is not always online and doesn't have it installed on a mobile device (which might change later).
I think you should add this information for SimpleX on eXch website.
From my experience I tried contacting eXch support with SimpleX chat using link that was provided, and nobody accepted my request or answered anything to me.

Liquid network is a next project we will list and there is currently work ongoing.
Great to hear this!
I hope you are going to add both L-BTC and L-USDT, this will be good alternative for using stable coins on tron and similar chains.
475  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Virtual cards - Transform Your Cryptocurrency with PayWithUs! on: February 12, 2024, 07:16:13 PM
We will give first 10 Hero/Legendary Members free cards and some balance to spend to test our service.
Are there any websites and services that are not allowing your cards to be used?

This can NOT credit cards like you are falsly advertising on your websites.
Most likely this are only gift cards, or in best cases virtual debit cards, there is big difference compared to credit cards.

ToS, Privacy policy and Help & support are not working on your website.
Everything looks very sloppy and done in a hurry, and I am in process of registering account for more testing.

476  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: 💳 Satsrefill.com - Anonymous Crypto Visa Debit Cards, Instantly issued. [BETA] on: February 12, 2024, 07:02:01 PM
Yeah sure, if you don’t mind can I share some links in PM. Don’t want to spam our own forum with links.
Sure, send me PM.
I can't wait to see what you have to show me.
477  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Ask] Monero on Exodus, what they mean about Subaddress on: February 12, 2024, 06:30:36 PM
A. Can we use previous Monero Subaddress (not the last)?.
You can reuse addresses but it makes no sense to do it, especially not with privacy coins like monero.

B. does any money that received on any subadress will forwarded to main account? or only the lastest?
You can move it manually and send to newly generated address, but I am not sure how exodus wallet is managing this.
I would stop using this closed source wallets like exodus and switch to open source alternatives like Feather, Stack wallet, Cake wallet, Trezor HW, Onekey, etc.
478  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit didnt help me as Gambling Addicted - not closing main account on time on: February 12, 2024, 06:04:26 PM
it was blocked per my request after I stated I suffer from addiciton.
I think you should self-exclude yourself from accessing all gambling websites, not just from rollbit casino.
You can set up special DNS settings on your network (both mobile, wifi and cable) or on router level, and tell some of your relatives to set up password for you.
I am saying this because it's easy to bypass what you did with creating multiple accounts, using different email and IP addresses.
I felt like they make a trap to me. That's why I call it scam. Only one of two accounts were closed, then they confirmed I could play.
Once I deposited and got some profit they deny every withdraw attempt.
When they restored my withdraw function I had no balance anymore. It was a trap im sure, in other words a scam knowing my fragility.
It's not a scam, and nobody is trying to get you.
Read their terms, I am sure it is not allowed to use multiple accounts, even if you close one of them.
This is standard for most services.
479  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Privacy Protocols on: February 10, 2024, 03:20:33 PM
Is there any evidence that Satoshi Nakamoto deliberately avoided adding privacy-related protocols and functionality into Bitcoin in order to avoid the ban-hammer?
It's possible but I don't think Bitcoin would be banned if there was privacy layer from the start.
There is one theory that he (or they) worked for three letter agency because he picked one encryption used in bitcoin that doesn't have a backdoor.
Satoshi was either very lucky or he had classified government information.

If so, how did he justify this decision when the very concept of sound money cannot be implemented in an environment where there is no guarantee of absolute transaction privacy?
There is no absolute transaction privacy with any transactions, even with monero.
I am sure that for Bitcoin we are going to use some interesting second layer solution that will help as achieve much higher level of privacy.
Statechains is one of this options I like very much.
480  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hodlonaut Trial on: February 10, 2024, 02:58:10 PM
yesterday wired published the following article about CSW in which it is reported that a judge will soon decide whether the moronic CSW is right to claim to be the real Satoshi Nakamoto...
He can't do jack shit, but he can prolong this circus of lies while his scam shitcoin is getting delisted from all exchanges.
COPA still needs to prove that Craig is not Satoshi, and Hodlonaut was doing live blogging stream during the trial, and Wright continued to deny evidence provided by COPA.
