141  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Scams are a global issue on: May 13, 2019, 08:35:00 AM
What causing this is i think the ICO exit scammers, they are the one who can easily collect millions of millions of dollars and just scam investors. And they are not being penalized or worst not even getting traced, thats what contributes huge to global crypto scams
Scam in cryptocurrency market is not limited to ICO alone, it really cut across the whole crypto market, down to wallet hacking, we just heard of recently, how money was stolen from Binance account and how the hacker was able to crack Binance security is a still a mystery to most people.

The money stolen from exchanges alone is almost the same as money that has been stolen through ICO scam, so it has become a general issue and something has to be done before it eats deep into the system of cryptocurrency and crumble its activities, and also if we really have to earn the trust of government too.
142  Economy / Economics / Re: Joseph Stiglitz: ‘We should shut down the cryptocurrencies’ on: May 13, 2019, 08:05:14 AM
Bullish news. Last time I read about this guy attacking bitcoin was weeks before the bull spike in 2017.

Is he a bull in disguise?

In any case he is wrong. By that logic internet should be shut down, or computers, or electricity...

Controls and "regulations", he is opposed to the free market. He wants the almighty State to intervene on every single transaction, in short, a socialist. He wants perfect information so he can command the economy, and that means a police State, which is the opposite of (good) cryptocurrencies.

Is not that he doesn't understand decentralization, he hates it.
Probably that has been his anger, I never heard of his stand about bitcoin until I read about it here, if he has been fighting bitcoin before the last Bull run, then he must really be a bitter person by now for not following the path of successful people, of all the digital payment that has existed before bitcoin, which one has been more successful globally without exploiting the users like bitcoin.

If he is advocating for the short t=down of bitcoin, they he should be ready to go back to the days of our forefathers where they find it difficult to communicate with each other easily and would have to travelled far distance across the border to perform a single transaction.
143  Economy / Economics / Re: ‘Crypto not meant for humans’ says Anthony Pompliano on: May 13, 2019, 07:31:08 AM
Anthony Pompliano recently tweeted that the reason why people are having a hard time understanding cryptos is because it is not designed for humans.

Read more here: https://www.unblock.news/news/crypto-not-meant-for-humans-says-anthony-pompliano

Why don't we ask him this question? For whom is crypto designed to? Does animals know the logic on how to use it? I don't believe on what this Anthony Pompliano says about crypto though.
I guess he is just trying to say that the operation of cryptocurrency using blockchain technology can really be quite comprehensive for humans and only machines can operate it very well, despite the experts we all have in the use of this  blockchain technology, I doubt if their level of understanding of its usage is still up to 20%.

This is why majority of those who are using blockchain technology on thinks it is a solution to making more money but it is way beyond that, I doubt if the satoshi we have been hoping to meet is even human, because I wonder how he could single handedly write the blockchain code and hasn’t ran mad, only machines would have done such better job.
144  Economy / Economics / Re: No Crypto Taxes Until 2030: Proposes New Ukrainian Bill on: May 13, 2019, 06:56:23 AM
Ukraine is developing crypto friendly bill for crypto investors now we can see more blockchain development projects from Ukrainian
I am still quite confused about these moves by Ukraine because government generally would never support anything that is not under their control and what they will not benefit from.

We all know that the system of cryptocurrency does not really permit transparency due to its anonymous nature, and if Ukraine wants companies in their country to operate on blockchain technology for good 10 years without them interfering or placing any tax burden on them, how would they get money within this 10 years, would there GDP not reduce? Still wondering how this freedom fully given to blockchain companies will benefit them.
145  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A better way to invest in cryptocurrency. on: May 11, 2019, 11:29:55 AM
A better way is always good to invest when the prices are very low in the market. Before investing we have to research about the coin which will easily help the coin to increase its price once the market starts recovering. We should always act when the market situation is very dull.
This is actually the need of the day. If you do not research about a particular coin in question and invest right away with blind fold on your eyes, you might end up loosing all your investment. This is a lesson learned due to a deluge of dubious ICOs which cost so many people with their trust and money in crypto projects. This is the reason it is important to research before putting in your money.
I am sure when anyone sees any campaign called ICO project today, the first book they will carry will be the book of research, LOL. ICO has really taught a lot of us lesson, and I am glad we have sacrificed our money as lesson for the upcoming investors to learn that there should not be any project that will take our money without first doing thorough research on the project.

we have to confirm fully the identity of those that are involved, check the product quality to see if they are coming up with products that will really solve any existing problems that we have in the market that requires blockchain technology.
146  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which unique factor makes crypto exchange a reliable choice to start trading? on: May 11, 2019, 10:57:30 AM
What is the key reason for the success of top cryptocurrency trading exchanges like Binance, Coinbase, Coinmama, Kraken, and Bitrex? What are the unique factor which make them each other competitors?
While trade the traders have seen many things before starting the trade on the exchange. Traders look about the exchange reputation, security, volume a  many more thing which gives a clear indication about the exchange. Volume and security are the most important factors and traders have a focus on these factors to find a better exchange.

As well now many good exchanges providing a user-friendly experience on their sites and now most of them have their own Application to provide amazing experience on the smartphone too. So the exchange who provide great service, security, and other good features can become able to attract users towards it. Because this is what a trader needs to look before doing trading.
147  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you have to buy cryptocurrency for 10.000USD today.... on: May 11, 2019, 10:25:22 AM
In this case, I will choose bitcoin for now, as it can be easily used in various fields as a payment system and has many more users, while it is a more reliable investment with a large capitalization
Bitcoin is a reliable coin for the investment and which has the ability to grow more in the future. So I would love to go with Bitcoin, it is far better than iota. Now many big countries have legalized the bitcoin. As well many big corporations, restaurants, shops and many places where bitcoin has been using for the mode of payment method.

And as per the time passes the people will make the best possible uses of it. Now many countries have come with Bitcoin ATM and this move attracts many users towards it. This what Bitcoin became at the moment. According to me, everyone can see the bright future Bitcoin and that why people have been doing investment in it.
148  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance Has Been Hacked - Lost 7,074 BTC on: May 11, 2019, 09:53:10 AM
Binance has been considered one of the safest exchange out there. If hackers can penetrate with all the security measures then it proves that much more needs to be done to secure investors funds.
After this attack, Binance definitely needs to add other security features to make everyone's withdrawal safe. This will happen the week after Binance has official announcements on this issue. In the meantime, consider investing in altcoin which is present in this exchange because the loss of 2% of the BTC has caused this market to have a huge decline. Anyway Binance still guarantees assets for customers so I won't worry much about this

Huge decline on Altcoin market? I don't think it has something to do with the hack.

The decline was cause by smart investors moving their funds to bitcoin. Haven't you check the dominance of bitcoin as of lately? Close to 60% now, which means that the they are all moving to bitcoin ecosystem.

As for the addition of security features, I saw CZ tweets that his people hasn't had that much sleep in the last couple of days, so I'm sure they are working hard on the security as of this moment.

the altcoin dumps is mainly because of bitcoin price rise, I agree there  but also there are many cases of some of the big coins that the dumps are because they were recently pumped (a small pump but still a pump) and they needed to be dumped and the bitcoin price rise was like the ignition that kick started that dump.

as for Binance's tweets, it is mostly to keep their users calm and prevent a small part of the panic withdrawal and sell attempts that has been going on ever since the hack news came out. otherwise the hack happened and they lost $40 million, it is too late to have sleepless nights to increase security.
Yes, absolutely Binance is one of the most top exchange and it was recognized for the safety and security before this incident takes place. It has been really sad news for the team behind the exchange, due to this incident there will get the major effect on those traders who trade daily on the Binance.

Now the team has come up with a better and safer security system which can help them to get over from the situation like this. According to the time they have to increase as much security which cannot get hacked. I strongly hope now the team has started taking massive actions towards its security issue and they will come with the most secure system. As well they will take care of this thing to never take place in the future.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Poloniex will become great again! on: May 11, 2019, 09:16:40 AM
I hope they really get themselves back to the top list again, cause this time around there are lots of people who no longer have interest in them, some of their traders that they have wronged due to their bad services in the past when the platform was turning to something else, and all these people have moved to other exchanges they believe are better and getting them to come back to their old trading platform is going to be a problem cause they no longer have nay interests there.

Unless there will be something very unique that will attract them back again. Let's see what happens, I know they working for sure, it's not easy to manage an exchanges, it's a difficult job to do.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any particular time to invest in crypto coins? on: May 11, 2019, 08:06:16 AM

Often times, people ask questions as to which best time to invest in altcoins or crypto coins. And I keep wondering if there is always a speculated time to invest in those coins. Early this year, I invested on one cryptocurrency. I was blamed seriously for investing on that particular coin at that particular time. This coin dumped till it almost disappeared from my wallet. I blamed myself continuously and I keep asking myself this question; is there any particular time to invest in these crypto coins? Please feel free to contribute your own opinion.

Some people would tell you that all times are right for buying coins and there is nothing like the late time, lol. There are late times, times when you are investing wrongly. If there is nothing like the wrong time for buying cryptocurrency, then everyone of us here would be making money from it and nobody would be losing their money.

You lose your money if you don't learn to invest at the right time, and that should be when the coin is at what seems  to be its bottom price. After coins reaches their peak price, they will drop, you don't rush in when they start dropping, rather you wait for a long time to know where it's going to stop, and when it goes down to what is the bottom price, that's the right time to buy it.
151  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: there is no word stopping to trade crypto. on: May 11, 2019, 07:01:34 AM
when so long bitcoin and altcoin have significantly reduced prices, many traders are very panicked and sell some of the coins they buy at high prices, and because of their fear they will reduce their capital, they are afraid to lose everything, in panic and fear they will lose all the capital they use, it really makes the traders really lose, but now that the market is recovering, is there still a reason for a trader not to return to their trade? if for me this is the time for us to rise again and return to our trade, so that we can cover the losses we have suffered so far, so never think of stopping trading for example we want to return all our losses, and we can get more profits .
There are some weak minded peoples who would quit trading once they have any major loss. This is actually the common tendency about max of the peoples but the ones who start odd from the crowd are the ones who are strong in the matter of holding and firmly supporting their trades onto which they made their investment.

The peoples who would always be patient and will keep supporting the cryptocurrencies will be the ones who would last longer in the field of cryptocurrencies and would also make the most profits. Price reduction of the coin we invested into should not be anything to worry about but instead it should be treated as a perfect time to buy those coins again.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Major technical companies and Crypto on: May 11, 2019, 06:21:28 AM
They will always succeed in it because everyone trusts them. If a company like Facebook launches their cryptocurrency there is going to be a lot of people that will buy it, because Facebook is already a trusted platform and people will fight to be among the early adopters, cause being an early bird means that you're going to sit and wait for others as they invest and lead the price to go up.

But another question is what is the purpose of these companies laughing a cryptocurrency? Seems like they are using us to fund their projects in a way and despite that, some of us are still going to lose when their coins price drops. Anyway, that's good.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: how hard will Binance coin (BNB) get dumped? on: May 10, 2019, 01:57:04 PM
i think it will not get that much dump,. but the exchange credibility will go down as security is the main thing in one exchange ( unless this hack was all for drama  Grin )..
Wow, it is really a shame that they will no longer be able to boast of full protection of their users, and they finally have a stain already that they have once been hacked, but that still will not stop them from functioning well, I really wish they can get hold of the culprit.

Oh my Binance, see how it has been disgraced in the midst of the hype that got everyone talking about them, anyway, I still don’t see any other exchange that will meet up to their standard before they get back on their feet, so I am not worried much about them losing their reputation because I know they still have lots of plans for their community that will really wow them and make them forget the past.
154  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Faucet on: May 10, 2019, 01:28:48 PM
can you suggest me a good casino site that offers high claim of satoshi when claiming to their faucet?
i want to try different sites
The truth is that all these faucets are the same, there is nothing like a big faucets and they are just a watse of time, unless you have nothing doing and you have decided to keep yourself busy. Based on what I've heard, if you what to earn from faucet you will have to register on lots of faucets and be claiming them everyday.

Some people have claimed to earn up to $150 and $200 by dedicating their time to faucets, not everyone can do that cause faucets are really annoying , the ads are too much and they are very annoying and will make you smash your phone. So don't even bother, and I have seen the faucets that most casinos has to offer ,they are all useless.
155  Economy / Economics / Re: No Crypto Taxes Until 2030: Proposes New Ukrainian Bill on: May 10, 2019, 12:58:09 PM
The bill that has been introduced in the Ukrainian parliament which proposes a halt on cryptocurrency taxation of any nature in Ukraine until the end of 2029, would definitely be something all crypto people would get behind. The questions is, how does cryptocurrency taxing work? And is there a fair way around it?
Sounds great but we talk about Ukraine a country with political instability. Me personally i dont like the idea of taxing but i prefer to see some reglementations regarding crypto.
What is surprising to me is the fact that some government fully recognizes cryptocurrency and probably believes in the solution that came with it and yet they don’t want to regulate it, if Ukraine can talk about 2030 for crypto, and then it is obvious they so much believe that cryptocurrency has come to stay.

We can see why it will be absolutely impossible for cryptocurrency to be banned worldwide, because there are so many countries that are friendly with cryptocurrency, so the next step they need to take now, is to first regulate it, taxing is not a problem, because most companies that are involved in the use of cryptocurrency never complains of tax but we need some sort of regulation that will make the crypto industry a safer one.
156  Economy / Economics / Re: Can you share Bitcoin percentage in your portfolio? on: May 10, 2019, 12:20:55 PM
This is not important to discuss, but it's for general curiosity. I hold over 100 coins and tokens but most of them found in airdrops so they have near zero value. I only have 11 including BTC that I invested and really care about. I don't want to name all of them but as of today, nearly 66% percent (based on BTC price, not fiat) of my portfolio fills with Bitcoin.
Can you share your percentage of BTC holding? Kindly, only count coins that have value.
Right now what I have in my wallet is hundred percent of Bitcoin. I don't know if I'm doing the right thing or not, but I think Bitcoin is the best cryptocurrency, and others should be a matter of choice. I have seen poeole who claim that more money can come from investing in Ethereum, but I don't really think that is true ,cause from my personal experience, I have made a lot of money by investing in bitcoin. Bitcoin gives more profit than any other crypto can give because the price increase is always much, unlike others that will give you just a little increase in what you have invested. So I'm on hundred percent Bitcoin, for now.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 6 Reasons why IEO is better than ICO on: May 10, 2019, 11:41:30 AM
One of the reasons I tip IEOs ahead of ICO is because fraud is eliminated, many people unfortunately have lost thousands to millions of dollars in ICO frauds and there is no way to recover those funds but with IEO, one will be certain his funds is safu.
The funds are safe, quite true but any assurance that the fund will yield profit? If IEO platform only focus on fraud done through scammers alone, then it is still not safe for investors, because they will still eventually lose money to weak developers who may get tired of developing the project along the line.

SO I will implore all IEO exchanges to not only focus on the issue of scam alone, there is also need for them to make sure that whatever the developers are engaging their services for is really worth promoting and would yield all investors return on their investment in the long run.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: STO vs ICO - FIGHT! on: May 10, 2019, 11:01:19 AM
I honestly see STOs and IEOs as just a rebranding of ICOs. They still have a long way to go before they are reasonably safe investments for potential investors, but it's a step in the right direction.

The project in the article looks very interesting though and after looking at their website they have a very strong team, raised over 2 million euros and have a nice working business behind them, all in all they look like a decent investment.

Also thanks for sharing the blogging platform the article is on, i've already earned some crypto from it and i've just signed up, great find!
For full investment security, I give it to STO 100% because they are being regulated and legalized, so it will be totally impossible for any developer to run away with people’s money since they have all the details necessary to apprehend whoever will try to dare the government with this.

The next face I am seeing trend now is STO, they just need little hype and also think of hiring  the services of hunters for them to get all the hypes that will make them get the popularity they need, because if they don’t, they will spend more money on advert before they can reach their target. Investors are plenty in the market; they are just scared to make investment because of the security challenge of ICO.
159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you protect your digital coins? on: May 10, 2019, 10:25:43 AM
cryptocurrency market started to grow day after day, and everyone now started to own coins, so the question now which come to all the coin's holders , how to protect your digital coin from losing, stealing, hacking, etc ?
If you take better protection, you might hardly lose any of your coin. The best way to affordably keep your funds safe is to store your private keys on a paper and not on the hard-disk or any other memory devices and store that paper in your locker where you keep our money. Your private keys would be 100% safe there from each theft the current markets are facing.

Recently there was a news that binance got hacked and more than 7000$ were been stolen from there so we can at least assume that the exchanges are not at all a better place to store ours funds into. You can use a number of paper wallets, hardware wallets, cold storage wallets, etc to be safe from your side.
160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: From when you are involved with bitcoin? Had u wondered why you not meet before? on: May 10, 2019, 09:51:10 AM
I can't remember date but I was meet with bitcoin when price was $800 to $900. But I had not bother to use it or buy/hodl it. Mostly time I was use perfect money as online payments received or send. You will laugh if you know why I had not use bitcoin because I laugh when I remember my paste thought.

Once I sold perfect money to my local reseller, they were asked my why you don't use btc. Because btc demand is high on my native country although illegal. My answer was, bitcoin is too volatility that's why I am using perfect money  Grin. To be honest that time I had not enough knowledge about bitcoin. However, when I understand the game of bitcoin then it was already $1600 to $1800. And I didn't late anymore, just convert my all fund (virtual fund) into bitcoin. And I wondered, why I had not meet before with bitcoin.

To be honest lot of people's are avoiding bitcoin just due to lack of proper knowledge same like me.

Intention of this post is, we should share knowledge even on real life about bitcoin as much as possible. So you friends/ neighbor will not regret like me.
I agree with your conclusion line. Peoples really need to get themselves ample of knowledge to trade and invest into bitcoins. It is never too late to invest in bitcoins and even now might be the time if any individual might want to start into. Even I am speculating the bitcoin market since long years but I invested very lately which yet gave me profits but comparatively low as compared to if I would have invested few more couple of years ago.

Price for bitcoins was less than a dollar and it really makes each one of us feel that they are pretty late to enter into the field of the cryptos but it is not that. You can even start now as no one knows the future price for bitcoins.
