421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looked back - lost! on: March 11, 2019, 09:20:50 AM
You are already in cryptocurrency and you should not regret it.
YES, the course is unstable. Sometimes there are mistakes, but do not look back. You will not change anything. It is better to assume that you made the right decision, even if you got a loss.
I don't think anyone should regret being in crypto because we all signed up for this without being compelled to, I know it has been bad for us in the crypto space regarding the dip in price for the past 2 years, but I don't think it can be called a lost unless you give up and dump the coin that is already in your possession. I had a lot of coin during the dip and was affected so much but I still have hope to expect the best.

the technology itself is developing and, I hope, will soon begin to reveal its potential.
This is where every crypto adopter is believing in. Due to the development, in near future itself we may see the real potentials of cryptos and hence we may experience it's real value. Even the past is too hard time, we need to tolerate it by keeping our faith high on futures of cryptos.
422  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the things to be considered when choosing the appropriate exchange for on: March 10, 2019, 09:04:03 PM
I am new to trading process. I have heard from people coinbase is an exchange and wallet where I can start trading but I am still not clear how this works. Someone. Suggest me how to choose the exchange and advise me of the some exchange names.
As a newbie, Binance is still the best bet actually when it comes to trading and not only for newbie, virtually for everyone and looking at the way you sound, you still need to do more training before venturing into trading business.

Kindly go for proper tutorial, you could get some mentors around you that you can ask to train you or if you are a fast learner, you can learn from YouTube, most tutor will surely introduce you to most existing exchanges and also advice you on the best to choose because if you base it on self-research and review from here, you might end up not choosing the one that is right for you.
423  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best small exchanges that you really like on: March 10, 2019, 08:33:50 PM
I've used many small exchanges and there are some that are clear scams such as Yobit.  Never used Yobit, they have been stealing customers money for years.  one of the best small exchanges I've used is coinexchange.io , I never had a problem with deposits and withdraws and they have enough liquidity to do some trading.
Well, I have been using yobit for a while now and I have never experienced such action from them though my money does not stay long in yobit wallet, I use yobit anytime I want to trade some coins not on Binance which I transfer out immediately I am done and ever since I have been buying coins from them and doing my withdrawal and deposit, I have never encountered any issue and the amazing thing about them is that their transaction is very fast especially when withdrawing and they also have low fee.

Regardless of where we exchanging or trading, it is always being emphasized not to be depending on your exchanger for holding your crypto assets. Deposit, trade and withdraw and then repeat for another day. Because, there were billions worth of coins and tokens had been robbed so far in many exchange hacking and shut down incidents.
424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How bad is other altcoin value on: March 10, 2019, 07:48:51 PM
I think we need to watch bitcoin first before any investment will happen. Bitcoin is the key of all altcoins price increase bitcoin price will affect the crypto world.
So it has been so far. It is not necessary that this will continue in the future. I think that will be so. Some projects will start to make a profit and become self-sufficient.
But at this time only a number of projects have been unsatisfactory and in my opinion there must be a change and for that then we have to do a new project proposal.
A new projects again, why do we have to come up with a new project at this time that the market is not good, of what effect will new project have on the market rather than push the market further to a bearish trend, what makes a project go towards a POSITIVE TREND, is it not by the community behind such project and their investment ?

Instead of new project, why not embrace ones that are good and already existing so that there can be more money to push those ones up and more activities on them for us to see the bull run on time.
425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Came Back After a Year on: March 10, 2019, 07:10:18 PM
Well, bitcoin became quite expensive to purchase and altcoins became very rampant after all sort of cat and dogs decided to make ICOs their life changing opportunity by offering low value prices with the promise of making it grow bigger in near future after many people came into crypto world and heard the story of where bitcoin but I promise you, it is only a matter of time before every ICO jettison their ideas for BTC now because majority of altcoins are gradually fading off as a result of their instability and unreliable system.

In simple words, in last 12 months of times, nothing big thing happened positively in crypto space but most cryptos have suffered some ten fold downfall in the same time period. Marketcap may not indicate this due to increased circulating supply in between time.
426  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin mining will be based on POW+POS.. on: March 09, 2019, 04:19:26 PM
Now the problem is: a panic could be stronger in a PoS coin (compared to PoW coins) as there are more hodlers that "locked" their coins to get PoS rewards. In a scenario where the price has fallen a bit, more of these hodlers could be incentived to sell - to take profits or to cut losses. In such a crash the price could fall much faster than it does in a PoW coin where hoarding isn't so much of a problem and many coins change hands faster (e.g. because of short-term trading).

I have called this problem in the past "hoard and sell" (it could also be called "hodl and sell" Wink ). It is and was a problem in all major PoS coins. There may be ways to solve it partially (e.g. security deposits that are locked for a pre-defined time, e.g. some weeks or even months, so people cannot sell them in a panic), but these solutions may bring other problems.

A PoS Bitcoin would only completely be "freed" of this "PoS volatility trap" if it finds a real usage as a currency. In this case, the number of hoarded coins would sink, and thus the hoard-and-sell problem would have a much smaller effect.
Your analysis is quite right and I see lots of sense in what you have written but I want to pick on the third paragraph where you mentioned that “profit taking will cause price drop here and there which will in turn create panic sell” but to me, I believe it will not be that obvious, yes I understand that already existing investors when profit goes high tends to take profit.

But, don’t forget the fact that when the prices drops, more new investors will also tend to buy more too at the deep including the already existing ones who will still pump whatever profit they get into same market back, isn’t that what the big whales are playing and yet, the market has not crashed to zero and still doing well.
427  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you have a prediction? on: March 09, 2019, 03:40:39 PM
There are lots of signals that 2019 will be THE year in which institutional money finally will enter the #cryptocurrency market. This is one of the cryptocurrency predictions for 2019 that will be a game changer for…
While most people predict that bitcoin price will not hit the all times high until late 2020 looking at it from the angle of halving, as predicted in 2018 by some crypto enthusiast, bitcoin halving is expects to happen around 2020 which precisely around may as documented and until the halving before bitcoin price can go on its bull run.

Though we might experience bitcoin upward trend this year but not on the BULL RUN lane, what will  happens this year is just some players coming into the market to pump few more money which will in turn increase the value of bitcoin and make it go between 4k to 6k before settling for the bottom which I don’t know what it will pick yet as bottom.
428  Economy / Economics / Re: Acceptance of bitcoin as payment! on: March 07, 2019, 08:05:50 PM
You should surely go through the Whitepaper of bitcoin. Bitcoins are been meant for a number of online activities which includes trading, mining, gambling, etc. Purchasing commodities with bitcoins was not expected for the long run as we all know the centralized systems are always an obstacles for decentralized currencies.

Yet, there are some stores who do accept bitcoins as a mean of payment. Bitcoins are been utilized fully as we are doing them now. We can surely expect a better valuation ahead but the use might remain constant.
429  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What do you actually spend your cryptocurrency on? on: March 07, 2019, 07:10:22 PM
Cryptocurrencies are not originally meant for purchases of commodities but are meant for investing online, trading on with them, Gambling onto something, or something similar to these.

Use of cryptocurrencies in buying/selling commodities is a plus point for cryptocurrencies and might act as a major source of promotion. Cryptocurrencies makes payments easier and with some minor changes can be set to use in even offline payments.
430  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: DO NOT BUY GIFT CARDS! DON'T GET SCAMMED! WARNING WARNING! on: March 07, 2019, 06:45:47 PM
Forum is mostly filled up with scammers so it fully depends on you whether you want to get scammed or not.
In terms of gift cards, they can be reversed which will not make escrow of any use so it is always better to stat far away from such deals.
I’ve seen some peoples selling various gift cards for a lot cheaper rate but once I contact them, they sprightly send their addresses for payment without any clarification. Gift card sellers cannot be trusted as we don’t even know from which source have the GC’s came.
431  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: weird drop in bitcoin price on coinmarket cap for one hour on: March 07, 2019, 06:17:42 PM
Probably it might be server error or technical issue from coin market cap because I was still awake around that time using my LUNO trading platform to trade and didn’t notice any of such huge price movement, and my stop loss order would have been triggered on Binance if that had been an issue.

If you also go through the historical data on coin market cap. You will realize that the value showed was not recorded, so I am convinced that the value that showed was just a slight error from the site which I can see has been corrected back.
432  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Selling items online for Bitcoin or crypto on: March 07, 2019, 05:25:07 PM
Having no third party for payment is safe way of paying for goods in our life because this will give you surely transparent payment and you will stay in touch with your wallet directly anytime, so have faith on cryptocurrency and you can use it for paying anything online it is safe no one can take or detect your extra money but only you can use directly from your phone which is so reliable and easy.
Bitcoins makes it possible to pay for the commodity without the enrollment of the third party which really is of huge benefits. Peoples feel safer transacting with bitcoins because of a lot of benefits bitcoins give us including the anonymity and transparency. Using bitcoins or any crypto coin to make payments is really much easier and just one click away.

Modern techniques are been bought and we can sooner expect a more advanced payment gateway accepting cryptocurrencies.
433  Economy / Exchanges / Re: The future of cryptocurrency exchanges on: March 07, 2019, 03:49:00 PM
I noticed that during the bullish trend, most altcoins and tokens fall in price on the contrary, as traders try to buy bitcoin or ETH. There are a few exceptions, but the General trend is this.
That will always be the trend, since all altcoin depend on bitcoin, the altcoins have no life of their own, which is why they will always be at the mercy of what happens in the bitcoin market.
Bitcoins can be treated as a mother coin and mostly each of the altcoin depends on bitcoins because we can see on each exchange that any of the altcoin is been paired up with bitcoins which later makes peoples think about bitcoins before buying/selling any of the altcoin.

Future of such altcoins also depends on bitcoins as they would only pump up if ever bitcoins were been pumped. As soon as the price for bitcoins is dumped, most of the peoples sell their altcoins to bitcoin.
434  Economy / Speculation / Re: Many cryptocurrency players have gone bankrupt on: March 07, 2019, 03:14:33 PM
I think only few of them only are bankrupt because most of the poeple here at cryptoworld are earn more money.
Cryptocurrenncy is good opportunity for you to earn money it makes you bankrupt if you cannot handle it very well.
Maybe those people who are really bankrupt because they did not pick a potential coin for their money that can cause losing of it and not grow so better once you invest choose wisely to not cry in the end.
A lot of peoples had huge profits into the cryptos world so majority of peoples who were been introduced to cryptocurrencies are with them. There is always huge chances for individuals to earn a better living with the cryptos with comparably lower risk.

If in case, you don’t know to handle your money, or you invest into any random coin/scheme than you will surely go bankrupt but most of the peoples are well aware and they won’t let this happen anymore.
435  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hodler, you motherfucker. on: March 06, 2019, 07:34:21 PM
Everyone have their own opinion and you don't need to insult them for it, this is a free market the last I checked and anyone can do whatever he/she want to do, if a user of the community decides to hodl, I don't think it's good for you to discourage them in what they believe, and it's not also good for them to discourage you from what you believe.

If you think trading is better than hodling then trade those who believe hodling is better would hodl that's how things work here.
436  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Crypto Marketet Is Dumping Drastically !! on: March 06, 2019, 06:13:43 PM
Many factors have caused the crypto market to grow dramatically at this time. I believe that one of the main problems is that many ICO projects are scam or not in accordance with the roadmap, and have an impact on the collapse of the ICo value so that no more investors enter because they fear loss
Yes, the launch of several Initial Coin Offering projects have been playing a major role behind why many investors are turning their back towards the investments into cryptocurrencies. A lot of ICO’s are turning out to be scam which is creating a lot of loss for all the peoples who invest into several projects and hence they do lack their trust into cryptocurrency investments.

But, like how few "real" projects in 2017 made ICO industry popular through their success, we may expect similar situations when bitcoin and major altcoins will be bouncing back. It may take time but success of few new projects may help people to change their opinion on crypto investments.
437  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reversal of Bear Market? on: March 06, 2019, 05:42:04 PM
This bear market still strong and working over time, we see sideways more and more and the reversal still not yet to find, might take much longer time for real holders to be strong enough and let those wea hands to lose their money and quit from the market, we need to be more patients while waiting for the
time where real reversal happens.

If we leave it up to you guys we will forever be in bear market.
Quite funny mate, I hate discouraging comments about crypto market which might be one of the reason why we have not seen the bull run we have all been waiting for, it just like 80% of the minds involved as been set on bearish market this year and if law of attraction is to come to play here, we might keep experiencing this bearish market until we start talking toward the bullish trend and hopefully, with our positive thinking and confession, we can move the market back to the bullish trend with or without the influence of the whales.
438  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: small gains but cant make it big on: March 06, 2019, 04:56:06 PM
You can still quickly take advantage of those shitcoin that you are able to make quite profit on by investing more on them though I am not saying you should invest your life savings but increase what you have been using to trade after all most of those shitcoins are quite very shit to buy compared to the reliable ones that are expensive  but for long term invest met, we all know that the only coin still very much reliable than can give you peace of mind is BITCOIN but I doubt if you can make 20x of your investment on it a year trading bitcoin except your are luck to have bull run meet your trading.
439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't give up yet on: March 06, 2019, 03:22:44 PM
The cryptocurrency space has been discouraging for a while now and there's a possibility for people to want to walk away from the industry. Some persons made substantial investment in purchasing altcoin whose value has greatly reduced and the thought of everything could make one want to loose hope. I'm of the opinion that making profits should not be our only goal in the industry but learning and contributing to its growth should be our focus. There's always light at the end of the tunnel and we would get there very soon. Let's be patient for a little more while, no matter how long the night lasts, the morning will surely come. Don't give up yet.
Thanks mate, lots of us are still hopeful and understand that the industry is still new and it take a little bit more of time for it to be accepted but quite difficult this period contributing our own quota to the development of it as one of it is to encourage others to come into the industry and accept its usage but one of the question a newbie will ask is the benefit of it to one financially at this period.

If you are to back it up based on some of us making it through trading, they will tell you that forex trading is there and does same, so I really hope this bearish trend can end on time so a lot of intending investor can feel the positive heat.
440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do I know the trustworthyness of a new coin? on: March 06, 2019, 02:37:12 PM
I am relatively new in this field. Having done some "trading" of alt coins in 2018, I would like to seek the opinion of more experienced traders and hopefully gain an insight as to how can I better differentiate coins with higher potential and coins which are basically crap.
It is no longer enough to rely on the project whitepaper to determine if one should invest in the project or not though it will still help at least by 50% . First step is to fully know the people behind the project, most of them have their own personal businesses they have been running, look into their businesses and see how they are fairing, any right ICO will give you clue to this.

Also, look at the project they are offering, do you think yourself as a business minded person that it address the need of the society around and also entice them and finally, also look at other function the coin might be used for. Main advice from me, start looking for STO project because in few years’ time, this will take away ICOs.
