561  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market still stagnant! on: October 31, 2018, 01:03:15 PM
the market is still stagnant at low prices, the last few days the price of bitcoin has not moved. I am worried because usually if the market is stagnant there will be a surprise that prices will drop suddenly.
Market is not stagnant as it has been moving consistently within a range for days now, and I would not consider that as stagnation at all. Just wait to see how retail traders react to breakout and then you will understand that there is actually nothing stable yet about this market.

Moreover, this is nothing new, considering that at some point in the market like this, we will always get to see that scenario in which the bears are either fighting to retain their positions or the bulls trying to take over, or vice versa, which is why we tend not to see some pretty huge movement most of the time in such cases.

the market is still stagnant at low prices, the last few days the price of bitcoin has not moved. I am worried because usually if the market is stagnant there will be a surprise that prices will drop suddenly.

And what is actually new? Market and price are looking more or less the same way for a longer time now. But I don't know how is that sign that price will drop suddenly.
Anyway, I think that many are having too much expectations from the end of the year, wishing for price to jump sky high but I don't think this is going to happen, not this year anyway.
No one even knows what will happen, whether it is this year or next, the thing is that in the end, there will always be that scenario that will get to play out the way the market wants it and for now we can just be patient to see what the market brings eventually.

Sure, there is no doubt that a lot of people are having pretty huge expectations but normally, i would not expect something huge this year either, and all I would just be hopeful for with a positive breakout now is to probably get to see it move to some pretty good level, and I would rather be looking more at next year, before expecting anything that serious.
562  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin going towards the dark on: October 31, 2018, 12:30:23 PM
Its pretty obvious people are getting worried of the huge and long crash of crypto, but it is not enough to say that we e're gonna be vanishing. Bitcoin shows a steady price, yet we say that it is stack but for me it is an indication that Bitcoin is getting stronger and stronger.
People have always gotten worried in the past, and there is no doubt that in the long run people will stop getting worried as we are even seeing it now.

This is because they made wrong decisions as a result of greed and instead of getting their heads wrap around the fact that this is a market and they are have simply made some horrible mistake and getting to learn how they can do better in the long run, all they just do basically at the end, is assuming the worst for bitcoin and then bailing out before they even started only to come back in years’ time mopping how they have basically missed the show and had the chance to get in earlier.
563  Economy / Speculation / Re: How do you honestly feel about the recent bitcoin drop? on: October 31, 2018, 12:00:44 PM
I personally consider this price decline to be a very bad thing, but I try to think this is a natural thing because the price of bitcoin is flexible. many people say the price of bitcoin will increase at the end of the year, I hope that really happens.

It really feel so disappointing of mine, but an opportunity as well. Disappointed in terms of having this bearishness for long period of time and being opportunity for the price of some coins are much affordable, which can give massive profits when bull market appear. Only hope and optimism.
Those who usually feel disappointed at certain point in time like this are those who never got to understand the market they were entering before even making any attempt at all to get in. We are talking about a market that fluctuates normally and seeing reds like this is something that is normal and an opportunity for a good bargain or will I say a discount.

It is just quite unfortunate that so many people see that simply because they know how to set their mind on the long term, they understand the opportunity and benefit that lurks in the long term and see now as an opportunity to derive the best benefit in the long term knowing that this is just a phase that usually does not last forever.
564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether Crashes, Bitcoin Rises on: October 31, 2018, 11:25:58 AM
I have never believed that tether was a stable coin as they claimed, so many people bought the idea that the coin was a stable coin but now look at what is happening. It is better for you to invest in a coin that you can be sure that you will make money from instead of putting it in a coin you think will always be the same price and then it ends up going down.
That is the thing with people, they do not tend to do some pretty good diligence and they just take in whatever they are told most of the time. Tether was actually meant to be a stable coin pegged to the dollar, which is meant to make 1USDT equivalent to 1USD, however, over the years, there has been some issues revolving around the stable coin tether as well as the team with the idea that tether is just being printed out of the blue to get the market pumped. That is something that the team has never come out with proof to deny and have refused auditing which is something that should be very important for transparency anyway.
565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A few questions to bounty hunters on: October 31, 2018, 10:54:21 AM
Well for social media is thin $2-$5 per like plus share is decent, for blog post reasonable reward is from $50 to $200 depending on quality and content, for translation it varies but $200 to $400 will be good and lastly for signature campaign a reward of $200 to $800 per week is considered good depending on the member's forum rank.
This is the thing here! People will tell you what they feel is decent but the reality is that unless you want to start coming up with your own campaigns for your project only, this is not something that will work.

Every campaign tend to raise certain amount for certain period of time, and that is always their target with a certain percentage of the total amount being allocated to bounty, in the case where you are now trying to introduce payment in USD instead of stakes and then calculating at the end, then you probably want to be introducing limit of the number of participants per campaign which is how I only see that plan of yours working. Staking is used to be able to curb that main issue.
566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What they won't tell you, how to earn even in the bearish market on: October 31, 2018, 10:16:39 AM
Going by the topic "what they won't tell you, how to earn even in the bearish market" it's not easy to earn in a bearish market because the prices are dropping. But with holding you might see out the bearish era that's if the coin survives it.

Well, that is why you should be picking a dropped knife instead of a dropping knife. You really have to understand some things at least when it comes to trading to be able to take advantage of a market trend, and it is not necessary that you have to know it all, just know some basics when it comes to investment, that will help you in making the right decisions.

A market that is going down will always at some point tend to switch back in trend, so the best thing is never to be in a haste, allow the market to develop, know that things can still go awry, plan ahead in case of all that, and when you at least know you are picking from historical bottom support, that even makes it an easy hold.
567  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN PROVIDE SOLUTIONS THIS Time? on: October 31, 2018, 09:45:23 AM
Stock-market slump is gathered momentum as panic selling takes hold on Nyse today. From the report online dow has loss more than 500point this day and nasdaq around 310 points. It is clear that another financial crisis is about to commence and I think bitcoin remains calm is a sign of confidence and strength. Investors may become aware of this and there maybe a flipping from stock - market to cryptocurrencies market in days to come. What did you think as bitcoin seems to remain the major viable alternatives.
It is always normal to see panic selling happening when you tend to see a market that has been overbought for a while now and is about having some possible retrace. I am not surprised as I actually saw this coming already.

As it is, I am sure investors may be looking for where they can pretty much start putting their funds now that the stock market is taking a hit from correction, and looking at the fact that the crypto space has actually hit the rock bottom and has corrected for a while now, this might actually be a pretty good place for a target. Just assuming, but let's see how things will turn out with this.
568  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull Run Signals on: October 30, 2018, 04:12:25 PM
the bull run signal seems to still not happen I see the bull run will take even longer because the cryptocurrency price is currently experiencing a bear market.
Although Christmas is far away but still this is my opinion about the bull to take plague. We will be seeing the market going up and benefitting hundreds of people for their patience throughout the year. Every year in end, like the fourth quarter of year have got good news for bitcoin and other altcoins. It seems this is going to happen again. We are going towards a jump of bitcoin.
I want to believe the main reason why a lot of people are so much looking at the possibility of a bull run is because they are really expecting that to happen as it always has in the last quarter of the year. However, this is not something I will be so keen to see happening with bitcoin as even though it gets to move up, there may really not be much movement upward, and instead at this point, I will possibly be expecting the altcoins to actually be the ones, doing most of the movement.

Time will tell though but based on what I can see, the bull run may actually be something that will only be possible with altcoins, with the way they have been gearing up for a while now.
569  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will die at 2027 on: October 30, 2018, 06:53:17 AM
Hey, guys. This year I became seriously interested in quantum computers. I came across here a study of Australian and Singaporean scientists about the security of Bitcoin: https://arxiv.org/pdf/1710.10377v1.pdf There are a lot of figures and formulas in the report, I haven't understood everything, but the main idea I've caught is that if Bitcoin doesn't implement post-quantum algorithms, it won't survive until 2027.
Currently, I'm thinking hard about how I could minimize the risks - all of the sudden, it may be true about quantum computers. What do you think, guys?
Maybe, there are already some projects that make a crypto with post-quantum protection? I think it should be implemented in Bitcoin blockchain
There is no logic behind bitcoin dying. There is no reason for it to die, I understand some people bought bitcoin during its peak times at around $20k and now they lost a lot of money because of it and some even got out and just took the loss and those same people really wish the bitcoin would die off so they could say they got out at least before it died. That is the only possible reaction that makes sense, if you lost money on something you want it to go even further down so you can say you got out early and didn't lost all your money but some of it however if it goes up and makes all of us profit than that person sold early and should have waited so he could profit, he didn't which would upset him.

It is the human nature, you want the best option for your future to happen, that is all.
570  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is happening with cryptocurrency ?? on: October 28, 2018, 08:07:49 AM
Crypto market conditions are currently still unstable and almost all coins have a low price, so you have to be more patient and stay calm, wait because a good day will come and will give us profit, or you can use this opportunity to buy crypto again
In my opinion Altcoin depends upon bitcoin. When the price of bitcoin raises Altcoin also rises, but if the bitcoin fall, Altcoin also falls. We saw huge dip in bitcoin price but what happened to Altcoin, why the prices of Altcoin collapsed? The reason is that bitcoin is the pioneer of cryptocurrency and fluctuation in bitcoin price effect the whole crypto market.
I am sure for over some time now, that has been a general opinion and not just an opinion but reality. A lot of time we have seen altcoins being suppressed as a result of bitcoin's growth or its downside.

Most of the time, when we get to see most altcoins grow is when they have hit the rock bottom, bitcoin has gotten to a point where it has switched to an uptrend and then consolidating which I believe this is the time we will get to see some pretty good move upward for most of the altcoins. Cryptocurrency has just given another buying opportunity for those who are smart enough to grab it.

It has done that before and it will do that again.
571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Exchanges in 2018 on: October 27, 2018, 03:33:44 PM
I think there are some exchanges can become the big hits this year. These are decentralized exchanges and exchanges that have innovative ways to operate the trading.

For example:

NEX: a must-watch project, the best NEO-based decentralized exchange so far

Bgogo: The trade mining program ò them has attracted lots of users to participate in

Binance for sure: The CEO of Binance is one the most influential person in Blockchain world. This exchange always know how to renew itself.
A lot of new exchanges have popped up this year and they are trying to gain some relevance. For now, Binance still seems like the best exchange for me in terms of fees, as well as reputation. There are so many exchanges that has been on over the years though, with some pretty good reputations as well, but at the same time, we have to realize that this is something that has mostly to do with how fast the exchange is developing in a changing world, and Binance is doing that perfectly well for me than other exchanges.

Let's see what 2019 is going to end up bringing with new exchanges that will be coming up. I am so much expecting few of them to take a huge one, such as Qurrex and Capdax.
572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Advise projects in which it is worth investing ? on: October 27, 2018, 09:14:32 AM
Advise projects in which it is worth investing ?

Do not confuse,,
For a new people who come to this crypto world ,, i suggest you to buy bitcoin and ethereum,,
Both are the best choice for newbie
Then,, learn more how to know a good and potential cryptocurrencies,,
So, you can choose by yourself,,
That is one way! If you do not know what to buy yourself, then, just buy what most people are concentrating on the most.
A lot of people tend to confuse themselves into buying quantity instead of quality and not realizing that what would make a market grow huge in the long term, will be based on that quality.

A market that is worth investing is a market with a product and a great team and you have to be able to do due diligence on your own to be able to get the ones that would be worth investing in based on the fact that there are so many fishes in the sea. Like I always tell people, it is your money, it is your profit, and you should always be able to make decisions on your own.
573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on monero's anonymity? on: October 26, 2018, 10:21:51 AM
What's the deal here? Do you want to be anonymous when using cryptos? As we know, bitcoin has an open and searchable blockchain, where you can trace anything. That's why some like to use mixers. Coins like Monero are popular because of ONE thing, anonymity. No one knows where goes what or how much. I've seen lately in illegal drug markets that monero is becoming increasingly popular due to its anonymity. I haven't seen monero been used much for anything outside the illegal drug market.
Is this a good thing or a bad thing? Do we want to enforce anonymity among cryptos or defend it?
I would say anonymity and privacy is something that would basically be applicable for people who may want to do some dirty deals or in some way go against the law and be able to stay off the radar doing so.

However, we both know that even with that, there are still some people who just do not like the idea of their privacy being opened to the public, even if they do not want to do shady deals, but personally I do not see a problem with that and in the long run, with the space getting even more regulated, chances are that the likes of Monero will really have an issue with the government accepting which is why the fact that bitcoin is pseudo anonymous makes it a whole lot even interesting.
574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Etherium 1000 $ is a dream to everyone ! on: October 26, 2018, 09:46:24 AM
Yes, I really want Ethereum to take off again and for this it is necessary to increase the quality of ICO companies and of course attract a large number of investors. After BTC ETH is the best choice and I think it will grow by the end of this year.
I am happy you called it a smart solution. Ethereum is down now and so what? It is a market which has grown hugely over the years and the likelihood of it still growing is there once we get to see recovery in the market. One thing you should always note is that when a market is down, this is the time you really want to be accumulating and then you just have to be patient enough to wait for it.

I would not say $1000 is a dream as that could possibly still happen, and even more in the long run. It is a market, even though the future is unpredictable as long as it is usable, it makes a point come for it where the demand would hit it back again.
575  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10,000,000 by 2028 on: October 26, 2018, 08:05:37 AM
That's right, im making the prediction. In 10 years Bitcoin will have a marketcap of several trillions. Most fiat sitting in dumb places like bonds, derivatives, idiotic stocks, easy to counterfeit metals such as silver and gold... will be sitting on the capital B blockchain.

We'll go parabolic in ways never fathomed before. After we gross the first million barrier it will open Pandora's box. Minds will be blown, everything will become possible. Anyone not holding wealth in Bitcoin will have their goods at constant systemic risk.

Go all in and hold.
This is a very high speculations and we would be happy bitcoin get to that level.  We should not fail to be part of this great opportunity that blockchain technology has brought to us.  I think we should invest now and be part of the history.
The market cap of bitcoin in increasing day by day and after 10 years you are right that it will cross trillions of dollars but the price will ever cross $20000 because with a huge price people would not be able to buy bitcoin. They will prefer low price coins for earning money and buy some satoshi for using for their daily routine expenditures and other financial needs.

Emmm...

So the market cap will increase dramaticaly, but the price will not... An interesting idea. It'd be a shame if it weren't possible because of math... Wink
When bitcoin become the global currency then nobody will compare it with other currency. Like I do not price my local currency with dollar when I use it in my local markets. I have nothing to do with dollar. Dollar is a scale for every currency these days and for bitcoin and Altcoin as well but then nobody will calculate bitcoin price is dollars. Therefore forget about $20000.
Obviously, imagining when there would have been some level of real life usage, a lot of people getting to see the real value, mainstream adoption, easy spending in stores, and so many more, I can imagine what the price will be by then.

With just speculations alone, we are here now, imagine what the possibilities of 10 years’ time will be holding. The main reasons we keep saying buy as much as you can at the moment. I would not doubt it as I absolutely was one of the people who thought $10k would have been too much for an expectation last year and we blew straight past it to imprint a higher level of ATH, so in the next 10 years, I can imagine what this market would be like if all things work as expected in terms of usage and adoption.
576  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin hit a trillion dollar marketcap in the future? on: October 26, 2018, 07:34:12 AM
It's not impossible. It's about the potential of Bitcoin. Bitcoin is possible to be as high as 100K and above.
Exactly, and for bitcoin to be as high as $100k, with the increase in circulating supply as more coins are mined daily, this is something that I so much believe will be quite possible in the long run.

Bitcoin has shown signs of strength over the years and we know that even with some level of mass adoption and for the fact that a chance for a bull run could even happen in the next few years where we might get to see as high as $100k and even above, a trillion dollar market cap will be an easy one to achieve. Let's see how things will turn out in the next couple of years, with mainstream adoption as well and then we will see.
577  Economy / Economics / Re: US Dollar Efect on the world and Crypto on: October 26, 2018, 07:02:57 AM
yes of course, the increase in the dollar price has an effect on the crypto currency, and also on other countries, so if the prediction of the dollar price will continue to increase until the end of the year, if the dollar price increase is insignificant it might not matter, but if the dollar price continues to increase significantly it might be dangerous for developing countries I think inflation will happen again ... oh I'm afraid to hear this news
How does it have any effect on cryptocurrency? Cryptocurrency is not directly tied to fiat and it is strictly an ecosystem on its own. If there is anything tied to USD, and would get it affected, that would be most countries that rely on the usage of USD when it comes to international transactions most of the time.

You have said it already in your last statement, which this is something that can only be basically dangerous for developing countries as in a way, their own currency will fall in such case as a result of weakness, against the dollar, and in that case, it would affect a lot when it comes to inflation.
578  Economy / Economics / Re: ICO Token Allocation (Foundations) on: October 26, 2018, 06:32:15 AM
I was reading the QKC token sale pdf again and saw they donated 15% to the "Foundation".

What is a Foundation in this regard? I'm curious to found out if its another fancy way of saying more money to the founders / team?  Roll Eyes
The team is the foundation and the foundation is the team. 15% donation to the foundation is just a way to paint it in such a way that would make it sound a little bit nice but in reality, it is actually meant for them indirectly.

However, whatever we are going to be saying here is an assumption so in a way, if you want to get some response or real answers, and that is if the team will end up not telling you what they want you to hear, i will say, you should just go to any of their social media pages, throw the question and they will be glad to give you a response to your concerns.
579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which one of these is a shitcoin according to you guys? on: October 25, 2018, 12:55:22 PM

Guys, Ripple, Stellar, Neo, Electroneum, Deep Brain Chain, Digibyte, Pundi X, Crypterium, Nano..I have bought not much but just a little of all these for 1-2 yrs hodl....Anything which is not worthy of investment???
I choose Ripple any time any day basically because I am not a big fan of centralized scam coins trying to claim cryptocurrency. Some of the coins you have mentioned at least have some great team behind it, some brilliant ideas and solid products.

I know we have seen Ripple also try to make a name for itself in the banking space as banker's coin, but as long as it is centralized and the team holds a very high percentage of the coin, it is one I can never trust as far as I am concerned. However, what works for an individual may not work for the other anyway as we all know what we look for in a project before we invest in it long term
580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Leave emotions at home on: October 25, 2018, 12:22:05 PM
In work no emotions count. Work and emotions are there own place. When you mix emotions in your work, you are not success. You don't mix Emotions and relations in work, if you rise and earn money. If you are emotional your competitors take benefit from your emotions, so leave emotions at home..
Emotion is something that would ruin you when it comes to trading and investment before you even realize it. One thing that comes with emotion or what actually bring about emotion is ignorance.

Ignorance is one thing a lot of newbies are actually guilty of and that is one thing I am sure they will always find very hard to understand how to be able to manage themselves in a very volatile market, let alone, how they should be taking advantage of market situations based on the knowledge they have.

As long as you are not ignorant of the space that you are in, there is actually no way you will be able to make wrong decisions, as every decision you make is based on facts and your perception of the market at every point in time.
