41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What emotions does cryptocurrency make you feel? on: May 27, 2019, 08:14:16 AM
From an emotional point of view, what emotions drive you to adopt cryptocurrency?

Fear of the government? Desire to get rich quick? The desire to be a part of a movement? A little bit of each?
I just want to have a good job and can help me pay the tuition is enough. I really think my bounty hunters job can't make me rich unless I learn about deals. I intend to continue this work for 2 years and will learn about trading during that time.
I will try to earn some money and then start trading and getting rich in this black market. I want to be rich before the age of 30 and this market is something that can help me achieve my wish. Grin
You can actually achieve your goal through this industry if you do the needful diligently. One of the secret to successful trading is for you to first acquire all the necessary knowledge and skills necessary for you to have a smooth trade.

Bounties nowadays can no longer make people rich, but for the smart ones, whatever they get from bounty is what they use to trade and continue multiplying their income. This was where I started from too, I never have any fund to trade or invest in coins, so I participated in bounty and from there was where I raised money for my trading that is already making me thousands of dollars now.
42  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit my job to do full-time crypto-trading on: May 27, 2019, 07:43:36 AM
Hey. I'm Mark. Shortly about myself: quit my major job to earn my way by trading and it exceeded my expectations. What I got from it that everything is possible, guys.

Here will be the deals I make, some of the stuff to continue the learning curve and anything I found interesting to share with you.
Disclaimer: None of this is financial advice, do your own research, share and earn.

[ 12 years in trading, 4 years in crypto trading ]

Here's one of them:

Each deal is a piece of art

I don't understand something here… you said you have done trading for twelve years and crypto trading trading for four years? Which job did you quit exactly? An office job or your trading business? If it worked for you, then it wouldn't work for others. You took a big risk if it was an office job that you quit, because crypto trading is a very risky job for anyone to do and you're not even sure about what is going to be your achievements in it, so for me it's not reliable. I will prefer to still have my job and do cryptocurrency part time, at least the money I make from my office job is more than what I get from trading cryptocurrency, so I had rather have crypto trading as a part time job.
43  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: May 25, 2019, 05:32:24 PM
Kawhi has been always the type of player that didn't shy away from the big games. All that "he is a robot" jokes stemmed from a real deal that he was playing on finals and got the finals mvp when he was with spurs and they beat Miami because dude literally played his heart out against Lebron who was in his late stages of last prime (dude has multiple primes apparently) and he still managed to hold his own against him no matter what.

So, the dude knows how to play on playoffs and how to not get Shakey during last seconds all thanks to his early development stage with the great Spurs team that won their last championship and previous season (and later seasons too until he got injured).

Other raptors do not have that, other raptors have lost so many times on playoffs before that they are afraid and they fear it will happen again so they are not as brave as Kawhi who picks up their fear and turns it into courage and hence why his points are higher in playoffs because he picks up his teammates fears and covers that difference himself.
44  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips to actually start earning from Trading & END LOSES on: May 25, 2019, 10:47:12 AM
:)I have seen people lurking around here and there finding someone who can guarantee them great success in trading and help them earn huge profits. Trust me there is no one who is going to help you out personally to earn profits. All the fake gurus out there betting to make you earn are only there to fetch some dollars from you. It is quite a known fact that only 3% of traders are actually able to take money out of the market while 7% remain almost at breakeven. While 90% lose most of their money most of which burn their whole balance.

Trading is the most rewarding career as far as I can see therefore is equally difficult too. You can't be a persistant trader in a day or two. It requires efforts of months or even years to become a great trader but here are a few things you should do as a newbie starting off:

1: Have a goal for yourself and a plan to achieve it. you can set your own goals but make sure they are realistic. Like goal to earn $1 Million is realistic but making it in a day or week or even a month is unrealistic.

2:  Read Books and journals of big traders A very important step in trading. Its better to learn off from the mistakes of past trader than to commit them on your own. For that read some books. Here is the list of great books for newbie traders.
  i. Market Wizards by Jack D. Schwager
ii. 3. Day Trading For Dummies by Ann C Logue
iii. Mastering The Trade by John Carter
iv. Technical Analysis of the Financial Markets by John J. Murphy
these will help you in finding your trading Style

3: Make your own trading setup and strategy & follow Risk Management: This is the hardest step hit and trial your favourite indicators to find a setup that suits you the most. Don't ever copy someone's else setup whole on whole it's never going to help as everyone has a separate style of trading. Never ever underestimate the need of risk management it is of utmost importance.

4.  Make your own Trade Journal: This is the most important step which most of the traders find bouring. See it's utter truth that you will lose a few initial trades but to make sure that you learn from these losses make a trade diary. Record every trade including the reason you traded it and result along with the reasons of failure. This will help you not to repeat the same mistake in future.

5. Do trading regularly in a disciplined way: No one has ever built up a monument in a day. So it takes time to build a great portfolio but just a few days to destruct one. So keep your risks low and trade everyday here is something that can motivate you. With an account of just $100 if you profit everyday at a yield of 2%(which is pretty low in these volatile markets) you will have a portfolio of $3500 in 6 months. That is 35 times return and compounding just never ends so try to keep your daily targets and try to achieve them too.

PS: You may share your love with merit.
I will bring more tips for intermediate traders soon.
Sometimes, listening to the advices is really good but when you're in actual it is really hard to do it on your own especially when you are already at lose moment how can you apply the so called "control your self" when you feel like giving up in crypto because you lose big amount of your whole assets. That's why I am now believing that if it's your time to win you can win it no matter what. Yeah, trading needs so much effort to think and knowledge on chart and market is a must but look even though they predict something about the price it is really good when the price goes to what they want but in the end all was hoping that their speculation is right even there is big possibilities that it will not go according to what they think.
I really feel you  Cry I have lose big amount of money in trading hoping that the price will go up again just like crypto currencies do last December 2017 but I m failed it turns me to give up in crypto it takes a lot of months when I am still thinking my lose. I can't move on sometimes if it is accidentally that it comes in my mind again I feel so hurt but thats life no one knows what we are and what we will be in the future. So, I must go with luck instead.
If you feel you have lost your investment to declined value, I think you have not completely lost it which you should not be sad about because you will surely recover it once bitcoin goes back to its ATH which it will sure do, except you tell me you have lost money to margin or leverage trading which I am indeed sorry for you because you can’t recover that again.

Well, we cannot all do more than our capacity, time to move one and probably just stick to holding which is more reliable because no matter the decline, the coin will surely rise back and far more than our investment capital.
45  Economy / Economics / Re: Will people come back to gold on: May 25, 2019, 10:14:57 AM
No, this is definitely not going to happen. Because gold is a completely dysfunctional metal. Bitcoin is an investment tool that has more functions than even money.
Yea I agree, but no matter what, gold will always be more relevant now till bitcoin becomes very useful tohold as store of value. Gold has very little volatility and it’s also being regulated and For now, we know the volatile nature of bitcoin and until this volatile nature of his disappears before people can prefer it over Gold.

Just like you stated, bitcoin is actually more functional than Gold and it is also more accessible than Gold, which makes it more useful even now that it has not gotten that much relevance as much as gold does, so I believe that in future, it will be able to serve as the new digital  gold.
46  Economy / Economics / Re: Your Source of Investment Money? on: May 25, 2019, 09:43:24 AM
Actually, initially, my family has helped me financially. Even later on I joined some numbers bounty which helped me a bit for the investment. But now I'm totally a horror Because it is not possible to approach next investment for me.
LOL, why are you beginning to find it difficult to make further investment, have you gambled with your initial investment or lost it to whales? I know a lot of us were hit by that massive dump that happened after the bull run of 2017, but I refuse to drop my own coin to the whale’s hands by not panic selling.

I still have my investment even though I have lost the value, but I will rather continue to hold it till I earn it back. Luckily for me, I was a bit rigid in my investments as I only invested in major coins like BTC, ETH, XRP and EOS. Other alts that I have are basically gotten through bounty campaign, so I still have nothing to lose there too because they will still increase.
47  Economy / Economics / Re: Current Market state on: May 25, 2019, 08:27:19 AM
Ops! Seems like the market turns to a green delightful day. Hence, I just want to return the past so that I can make profits right now. Many people are happy that cryptocurrency have back its price today but they did not invest during the breakdown. In result, they will buy at top if ever 8k dollars is the roof as of now.
I just cannot wait for bitcoin price to cross that $8k mark and continue to increase because I want to stop regretting not always selling when I got the chance to and buying when it is dip. It is really not so easy, now that the market has gone green again, no one knows if it will still dump again for one to sell now and buy back.

What usually make people miss this green opportunity is because we always think the market might continue to increase and if we sell at the point we chose to sell, it may get quite difficult to buy back at dip if the market continues to surge, buy now, I think I just have to be taking some risk.
48  Economy / Economics / Re: Regulation of Cryptocurrency Around the World on: May 25, 2019, 07:57:00 AM
Very interesting thread
Here in Brazil, BTC is legal, but the government started to make laws and every single transation have to be declared on our tax system, every transaction

People are laughing right now because it's impossible to do that, I don´t know abou future, but I'm a little worried

It is illogical and I guess this policy was drawn up by some stupid people who don't even know the basics of crypto-currency. Unlike the case with bank accounts or credit cards, there is nothing to link any of the Bitcoin wallets with your identity. The authorities will never be able to prove that a particular Bitcoin wallet was controlled by you, unless there is a fiat linkage somewhere. I don't think that anyone in Brazil is going to follow this stupid law. And no need to worry about it.... the government is not going to imprison hundreds of thousands of people just for using crypto.
You are very much right about this, for this reason is why most government will not buy into the idea of regulating crypto or legalize it,so we just have to get this idea of regulation out of our mind and continue to use it to the best of our knowledge.

Satoshi didn’t even create the coin for government, he just created a system where people can transfer money to one another without charges or involvement of a third party that makes transaction quite expensive and quite slow. If government is to come up with any form of regulation, it will only end up coming in a centralized way because it is their coin they will be creating.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best IEOs and IEO bounties on: May 25, 2019, 07:24:10 AM
Hi all, what do you think are some of the best IEOs coming up and are there any good IEO bounties? Not a bounty but I did make a nice $60 on trias airdrop
Are you sure you are not mixing things up here, I would have said maybe you confused IEO for ICO, but you mentioned ICO too. I have never seen any IEO bounty and I don’t know which IEO came up with airdrop for you to get $60.

Most IEO that I know are being concluded within a short time and they don’t run any form of campaign other than the hype of the big exchanges running it that they use as advantage to meet their target. So if you are then looking for a very great exchange, you might as well try looking for any one Binance will release, they do come up with more reliable projects.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you suggest participate in airdrop? why? on: May 25, 2019, 06:42:59 AM
Anything that brings monies to an individual in this community is worth suggestive. Although most of the coins might not worth much at the moment. Lets just hold them in fate for the future.
Most of the projects have been turned into trash on the bearish season and the chance of recovering are pretty low. They have gone forever, in fact, any project with no real demand will go down. Better not to waste the time.
That is right mate, the only saving grace that those coins have which I usually call last chance is during altcoins season when most altcoins is known to rise whether real coin or shitcoins, at that point is when most of the developers too still come to forcefully promote their coin to the public and they will surely get greater percentage of people who invest in projects just by picking them randomly without checking the quality of their project.

I have many of these coins with me and I am waiting for that time too, but for the new airdrops, some of them are still worth it for short term investment and not long term investment.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Bitcoin SV starting to grow? on: May 25, 2019, 05:54:42 AM
I'm not a fan of the various bitcoin forks, I still can't really see the point of them beyond money-making. I expect they will disappear eventually. They will no doubt have ups and downs, but I think the overall move will be downwards.
Neither am I because I have never seen any need to use mist if these coins that call themselves fork, they still end up copying the same thing bitcoin is doing which I see as repetition. Most of them only grown when bitcoin grows, so why invest in them when I can simply just buy the same amount in bitcoin for investment.

People are often carried away sometimes, with the price of getting 1 coin, everyone wants to have at least up to 1 coin and they see bitcoin as being expensive forgetting the fact that whatever percentage they are able to buy in bitcoin, the profit will always be higher than even purchasing 2 of any coin.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: sick of high fees Ive moved over to alts on: May 24, 2019, 10:21:35 AM
I used to be in the bitcoin core crowd but after still paying ridiculous fees recently Ive moved over to bch and SV, I Guess this is kind of a rant, but I dont understand who the hell wants to pay high fees to send money to someone.
You are the first person I will be seeing complaining about bitcoin fee has been high, you would have just left you money in your traditional bank and see which charge is higher. The only time we usually get high charge complain is when the price is becoming too high and also demands become much which usually create congestion for the system, which no one forced you to transact this time.

Those forks you mentioned, what is their trade volume within 24hrs compared to the trade volume of bitcoin, when you see the number of people using this coin within 24hrs, you will understand why we usually have congestion sometimes and not always.
53  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dont be dumb gamblers on: May 24, 2019, 09:45:54 AM
Actually not just in gambling site but when you put your bits into online platform also can be hack, right ?
We already aware that crypto is risky type of investment so when you decide to be the gambler, the risk become greater so you need extra careful on how you manage your next step !
Being careful is needed when you start placing your money from this field, there's  a lots of possibilities that can affect your stay, securing your money is the first thing to do as you can lose it quickly along the road, if you know how to value your money you will keep inside your system and not to act lazy
while you are dealing with this industry.
I agree. Once money is directly involved, we should learn not to be careless but very careful on the coins we have invested it or on the gambling sites we placed our money. If we really know how to value our hard earned money, then we must seek first the advice of professional gamblers if a certain site is legit or not. It's still good to play safe and secured than to lose your money all of a sudden because of being dumb.
Even if you are gambling for gun and are not looking for gains, you should be careful of the capital you are putting in the gambling. I have never seen a billionaire burning a dollar which means that these pennies and cents make the biggest treasure in the world. Gambling might be uncertain but once you have some good ways to getting things done, you are no longer a dumb gambler.
I think those who gamble for fun do not really have problem, the major problem is with those money hunters, those of us that play for fun understand how to play the game. You will never see anyone who gambles for fun play foolishly because it’s just a game of entertainment and we know that entertainment does not take so much capital.

I am a salary earner and I have a certain amount of money I spare monthly for entertainment, it’s from these money I set out a part to gamble, so would I ever get excessive capital to play around with in such game? I think we should always let people know how gambling should be done, which is play for entertainment.
54  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How did today bullish trend affect gambling! on: May 24, 2019, 09:14:20 AM
My friend also has a casino and the volume is significantly higher, some days he said even x5 or x10 higher than before, also a lot more whales are betting, told me.
Your friend would be making so much money by now LOL it’s a good time for casino site since they make 100 people lose and end up having just one winner.  So many people are just betting with their coins this period and they feel it’s a good thing but I pity all those who would lose their hard earned BTC.

I have learnt from experience, it’s better to hold onto my BTC than to do anything am not sure of just because I want an increase, I tried that before and it failed me. The reason most people are gambling more with their Bitcoin in this bull run is for increase. I don’t blame them anyway, it’s not easy to get BTC and I know once there is an opportunity like this, people tend to take advantage of it.
55  Economy / Economics / Re: The Continuous Printing of Money on: May 24, 2019, 06:32:11 AM
Sorry, but you don't know what you're saying. Printing lots of money doesn't mean that you will get a lot of money to solve your monetary problems just like you have said, sorry but you're very wrong. Because printing lots of money means that your country's money will be losing its value and that means that the purchase power will be dropping.

Every product in the country will be expensive for an average man to buy, cause they won't be able to afford it. So printing money doesn't make any sense. When there isn't excess in circulation, the value of the money goes high.
56  Economy / Economics / Re: Dont believe on sale on: May 24, 2019, 06:01:47 AM
Sales are everywhere. Sale on shoes, bags, shirts, gadgets and everything. Malls and shops use this technique to attract buyers, but you know what?  Do you think you've been discounted a higher price than ordinary? No. Instead of saving 20%, you spend 80% on things you dont really need. This is not economical and most of us are easily lured to it. This is what i hate about people. When there's useless trending items on sale, they buy immediately even on credit cards but if bitcoin drops, they talk negative about it. Normal mindset wants to get temporary attention. Not permanent comfort.
I'm not really the kind of person that is interested in discounts or whatsoever, they don't attract me when I see stores offering a discount. I only go for what I need and if luckily for me that they are also offering a discount for what I need, then that's good.

For me to be attracted by discount sale, then it has to be something I think would be worth it, maybe cause I believe I'm going to need in the near future and the price is down, then nice I would go for it. When I go to malls sometimes I see people rushing products that are discount, I can't even do that sh#t, fighting over stuffs that I can buy even without a discount, nah I wouldn't be interested.
57  Economy / Economics / Re: Starbucks, Nordstrom And Whole Foods Now Accept Bitcoin on: May 24, 2019, 05:24:52 AM
This is a good news, when people starts to know that these companies are now accepting cryptocurrency for payment, they might be interested in trying it out. But the problem as that cryptocurrency is volatile so not everyone is really interested in it, no one can just get a crypto wallet and store their money in it cause they are going to lose it unless it's for the purpose of investment and they are sure that they are ready to take the risk involved in it, which is either losing your money or making profit. PayPal is another big competition, cause no one is going to use Bitcoin as long there is PayPal given there as an option
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We Create Our own Bull Run....and everyday might be a Bull Run on: May 23, 2019, 12:31:49 PM
One thing many don't look at and many keep waiting is bull run. But to be frank we create our own bull run. We all will not get the same bull run as it all dependent on how much we purchased our coin and the timing. So some one is experiencing his bull run at the moment while many are still waiting due to timing differences. Lets therefore be careful since our bull run might be now  Smiley.
I know you fully understand your point within you, just that you are not able to express it clearly because I don't see what we should be careful about in your statement. We all are aware that the more money you put, the more money you get, that is a rule in trading and at the same time, you shouldn’t be too greedy to put what you cannot afford to lose.

Let me tell you why people always clamor for bull run, because with bull run, no matter how much little you put, bull run is capable of multiplying it over 1500% depending on the project. So you can’t tell me that someone capable of investing 100 and getting $1500 in return has not really gained much according to his capacity, f he then have more than that to invest, that is to his own benefit.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Right or wrong path? on: May 23, 2019, 11:52:40 AM
You're heading at the right path but IF I we're you I won't just wait for the bounty reward If I have an extra money to buy some Altcoins that have a potential to grow up to 1000 in the next 3-5 years. I won't hesitate to buy them now. The thing is If you succeed to get on the right coins there is a possibility that you will become the Next Altcoin Millionaire.
Why are you advising him to buy altcoins again when he already stated clearly there that he doesn’t have money to do so, if he doesn’t have nay, then there is no way he can force money out for investment other than trying his luck on these other means of getting coins.

I know bounty hunting and airdrops is not as rewarding as they use to be, but nothing is too small in this market to be multiplied. Many people that invested in cryptocurrency in this forum did so too by first getting money through bounty and then investing it in any of their favorite coin. So it would not be a bad idea if he follows same pattern too.
60  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: HOW I BECAME A GAMBLER on: May 23, 2019, 11:16:01 AM
2017 was a very tough year for me. All efforts that i ever made to make money proofed abortive, then my friend told me about gambling and how he has been making money from it. I didn't buy into this idea because i have had a very bad impression about this game even though i never tried. Am sure you all know that gambling has a bad reputation lol Grin Grin. At a point i had no  other choice than to give it a trial on a sport betting site. That day i made double of my money and i promised myself never to stop gambling Grin That was how my journey on gambling started. Can you share your story briefly and clearly  Roll Eyes LETS GO GUYS
So you are telling that you are a millionaire in disguise and made those through gambling, what game you played and made those money, explain those too rather than telling just stories and the transaction details as proof so that everyone would believe what you are telling is true rather than fictional stories Tongue.
Answer a few questions to make things clear,
1) Which gambling site were you rolling?
2) How much amount you deposited initially?
3) What game you were playing and which game earned you the most ?
4) How much profit you made till now?
5) Any transaction proof to show that you withdrew a big amount from any known gambling site?
Please note that i didnt mention anywhere on my post that i have become a millionaire, i only promised never to stop gambling because i won my first game and ever since i have been enjoying the game as entertainment Roll Eyes. This doesn't mean  that i have not made a lot of loses after then but the pleasure i get from the game is the reason i have promised to remain in  gambling. As for my first gambling site, it was Fortune jack and i committed about $50. Thats all i can answer but i have nothing to gain by dropping a fictional story Tongue. This is nothing but my experience. please feel free to share  yours Grin
Pleasure is even one of the important reasons why you have to be very careful about gambling mate. I hope you understand the addictive nature of gambling, You have made a lot of loses and yet, see no reason for a rethink? I am only concerned because I know what gambling can do to people without self-control.

You entered the game for money and have now deviated your purpose to having fun, not a bad idea anyway but gambling for entertainment does not make you loses a lot of money and this makes you contradict yourself. I suspect addiction already but I am very much aware that compulsive gamblers will never admit to be, just be extra careful please so that you will not make mistakes that would cost you years to rectify.
