81  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People who gamble are degenerates, change my mind. on: May 21, 2019, 06:37:50 AM
I think we can lay tons of informations here but I don't think that all of them will change your mind. I mean, you are still the one responsible if you want to change your perspective or not.

However, having a negative view on people who just spends their time in gambling is not a crime. Personally, I feel bad for them, too. I think there's something more that they could do with their money, time, and life in general. But, what more can I do right? It's their life so it's their say. Just like everybody else, they may also have their reason for doing such.
Exactly. The most difficult thing to do, is trying to change the mindset of a man who already has his mind concluded on an issue. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and if that is what he feels about gambling and gamblers then there is nothing anyone would say that would make him have a change of mind.

Just like I have nothing against those who spend on gambling, its their choice, their life and their money as long as it makes them happy. Whether you spend on gambling or not, the money will still be spent. The most important thing is to do what makes you happy with your money and if gambling is among the things that gives gamblers happiness, then it’s wrong to judge or condemn them.
82  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrencies Pose Risks to Banks, Warns Basel Committee on: May 21, 2019, 06:04:02 AM

Going out from house is so risky, they should stay at the home too, don’t go to the bank, and using bank is also super risky, can we stop using bank because it is risk? What about thieves? Hackers? Boys girls, computer mining gigs, everything is risk, I think they’re extremist by being super insecure.😂
That is why they are being consumed by their insecurity while other nations are studying how they can benefit from cryptocurrency using the blockchain technology. I think their fear is what cryptocurrency pose as threat to their pocket and not to the banking industry.

They care more about the money they get through the money people deposit to their bank and the levies they impose on the owners of the funds, but I don’t see anyway cryptocurrency pose threat to banking industry generally, because crypto is created for payment and since cash will always be involved in order to have access to crypto, bank will always be functioning.
83  Economy / Economics / Re: Starbucks, Nordstrom And Whole Foods Now Accept Bitcoin on: May 21, 2019, 05:18:10 AM
Not on our country yet, but once Starbucks here accepted Bitcoin people will notice cashless order and Bitcoin will become a talk of town until every news will cover how Bitcoin works.
It is going to be a gradual process and it may not be this particular company that will introduce bitcoin payment in your country, but other retail companies will get a signal from these ones that are already implementing it, and that is how it will gradual expand till almost all the retailers who are technology inclined also implement bitcoin payment system.

This is why we believe that the reign of bitcoin will never end as it is just starting to be known worldwide, and the next 20 years more in this cryptocurrency industries, 80% of retailers worldwide would have made bitcoin a their major digital payment coin.
84  Economy / Economics / Re: Regulation of Cryptocurrency Around the World on: May 20, 2019, 12:22:33 PM
There are lots of countries that doesn't have any law that governs cryptocurrency and most of these countries are in the African continent. But one thing I never knew that countries where Bitcoin is legal is as much as this. The green on this map/list is too much, which means that there are lots of countries where Bitcoin is considered legal.

And that means that people are free to make use of it as they would use a real currency. As for places where' it is illegal anyone that makes use of it attracts punishment. Countries that doesn't have laws for cryptocurrency seems like it is not that popular there. So their government is not thinking of setting any laws for it.
85  Economy / Economics / Re: Forms of converting cryptocurrencies into cash on: May 20, 2019, 11:53:01 AM
Just like in subject. How do you converting cryptocurrencies into cash? For example in Poland I can convert in so-called bitcoinmat from page shitcoins.club. I don't know how is it in other countries, so please reply. Thanks Smiley
There are lots of ways I can convert my Bitcoin into cash. There are local exchangers in my country that I can meet face to face and do the exchange with them. I even know a lot of them to the extent I don't need to meet them anymore, rather I just send them a message and request for their Bitcoin wallet address which I then transfer some Bitcoins to them and they will pay money to my bank account.

This is my favorite way of converting Bitcoin into cash and it doesn't cost me. Then another way I can do is withdrawing straight from my Bitcoin wallet. I just hit on the withdraw and the money comes to bank account within few minutes or some hours. This method cost me some fees but it is not much. Another way can be by making use of wallet debit card.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin,Litecoin,Ethereum,Ripple,Doge on: May 20, 2019, 11:20:41 AM
I see, that many prediction about market of cryptocurrency. The most likely as the market standard is ETH will up $1000 at the end of the year 2019.
Hmm, are you sure you are not just guessing this value and you can really proof it because the last time ethereum touched that value was when all altcoins were all pumping before they all got dumped and ever since they got dumped, even their product has not been able to work for the value if not recently that bitcoin started spiking and they are all following behind bitcoin.

I wonder how lazy those altcoins are that they cannot perform on their own without their Bitcoin pulling them up. Before ethereum can reach $1000 by the end of this year, then bitcoin should be around $25,000 which i don’t see BTC meeting that target this year.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: how hard will Binance coin (BNB) get dumped? on: May 20, 2019, 10:52:12 AM
Binance and its official coin, bnb, will only experience some mild dump but will not suffer a crisis like the other previously hacked exchanges. The management had already created a SAFU or the Secure Asset Fund for the Users and this separate fund will use as a insurance for the users of binance exchange. The bnb coin is also safe from hard dump as it continue to go up breaking its all-time high this year.
Fortunately, Binance is among one of the lucky coins like bitcoin that has refused to react negatively to FUD news this period and it’s like every FUD new makes them stronger.

During the time of their crisis, BNB never dropped from their normal value, although I love the way they handled the matter, they had already created the news of it and allayed the fear of investors which had already gone ahead of those who would have used the FUD news against Binance. Whatever drop we see during those periods is just the way other coins are reacting to BTC movement and right now, we can see that Binance is already crossing the value of $30.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Your Emotions: Highs and Lows of the Bull Runs on: May 20, 2019, 10:17:40 AM
Its just sad when you dont have enough money to buy more when its on bullrun, happy because our losses last year have begun to close, the enthusiasm to work harder and invest in crypto began to rise
LOL, and the saddest thing is when you don’t have money to buy enough bitcoin, there are some investment that no matter the increase bitcoin gets, there can never be increase that will be enough to even buy.

It amazes me when I hear that people buy from 50 BTC an d above at once, nit to talk of whales that are buying an outrageous quantity, this is why some of us go for low cheap coins hoping that the will get to be the future bitcoin. Am I right?

All fingers are not equal and I am sure that one of these days will be our lucky day too, where we will have enough money to invest heavily in bitcoin and take heavy profit, which is what I call excitement.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will BNB reach $50 This Year? on: May 20, 2019, 09:47:57 AM

I am amazed at the way that BNB is growing this year. What is more amazing is that after the famous Binance hack, BNB seems to be untouched and it even continued growing. Aside from its top exchange platform, people are also looking forward to the Binance Chain as possible rival of Ethereum and TRON.

Right now it is sitting at the $28 level and is considered to be the top gainer for this recent rebound of the cryptocurrency market. The future of BNB is now getting to be rosy to the hurrahs of its growing supporters and holders...

Do you think that BNB can be able to reach the $50 level within this year? Or does it have the potential to do so, in the first place?
Right even before bitcoin bull run, Binance BNB has always been showing uptrend and when their coins where dumping so hard, Binance kept on increasing, the only time Binance got dumped just a little was when they had the hacking challenge which would have made their price dump so hard if not because they had it under control.

Now that bitcoin is on the bull run, and they Binance is also back to operation, there are two elements that will assist in getting Binance above $50 this year, one of it would be their product itself which has been really been attracting investors while the second one would be the continues rise of bitcoin as we know that most altcoins in top 20 follows bitcoin in the increase.
90  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Idea needed for my situation on: May 20, 2019, 09:18:27 AM
OP wanting to play at binance even she know already the current status of Binance instead to look for another known exchanges.
You have to do nothing but to wait until BNB  deposit will be open again.  But for now,  it is better to buy more BTC or ETH  while waiting, you can even trade them in Binance as well.  This just to have something rather to wait without nothing happen. It is just a waste of time IMO.
Which other exchange is better than Binance or has the volume that will make his strategy work, Moreover, Binance is already over their issue and I think all deposit and withdrawal has been opened again, and if they had not even opened, I would have advised him to wait for Binance.

Not that I am saying we don’t have some good exchanges, but op, who is not new in this industry must have seen Binance as the best option for his game plan which is why he chose Binance if he is to be successful in it, so its not abut exchange, it’s about his strategy, if it will work or not irrespective of the exchanges used.
91  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: which is easier 1-2% a day or 20-30% per month on: May 20, 2019, 08:19:18 AM
Ok neither of these are easy but as a long term strategy to do think its best to day trade and try and get 1-2% a day or invest in a couple of coins and try and get 20% over a month
In my opinion, both of are easy to achieve only if you are good crypto currency trader but for those who are not good trading they should be contempted with what you can achieve within a day or month like 1-2 percent on a daily basis or monthly.
I will support interest compounding too that arises from an intraday trade, I dint think there is any good volatile coin in the market that cannot increase at least by 1 to 10% in a day before dropping low again, but it will be quite difficult to get a coin that will give up to 30% at the end of the month for long term investment since it is not a fixed interest.

Although trading on a daily basis is quite not so easy comparing to trading once in a month, but if day trade is properly done well, it is worth it, there is so much guarantee that one can get upto 30% of ones investment by the end of the month.
92  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you secretive about trading currency? on: May 20, 2019, 07:48:46 AM
When people ask, What do you do for a living? I have a full time job, but I also trade crypto-currency.  I do not like telling them about my currency and Bitcoin activities because when I tell people about trading currency online our relationship sometimes changes. They start scheming or they think "I can do that, better than you" and I suspect they want to secretly start trading too.

Does anybody relate to this?
Based on my own personality, I am very open to the call and I love to share my ideas with people, so I don’t get secretive about my cryptocurrency activities, if I tell you about what I am doing and you pick interest in it, fine, it is now left to you on how to go about doing the same thing. It could be with my assistance if I am being invited and it could be without my assistance.

The knowledge we have in this world ends with this world when we die, so I don’t carry things as if I am never going to leave it, I am proud of cryptocurrency trading and will always love to share the ideas with people at no cost. The market is too big for me to take all.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH vs BTC on: May 18, 2019, 11:55:24 AM
I think that this is impossible. I respect Ethereum, this is a great cryptocurrency, but for a long time it will not be able to grow to the level of Bitcoins.
IT should be considered as a very good investment coin but can still not be an option over bitcoin, because ethereum development and community that are behind is far below what bitcoin has.

All the increases you have been seeing in the past few days, how many of them has been above bitcoin in percentage, most of all the performing altcoins including ethereum always follow bitcoin development to grow, once bitcoin goes on green they follow bitcoin become green and when BTC goes red, they also follow BTC on the red lane as we can see an example of it in the recent dump in price of BTC.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What information does the participation in the airdrop focus on this currency? on: May 18, 2019, 11:22:32 AM
Do you often participate in airdrops? What information will you care about? Is it on the exchange? What is the price of the currency? what is this else? What do you think the airdrop activities of the project are doing well?
Anyone will surely go for the credibility of the project, the team and the pay from the airdrop. I would not want a situation whereby airdrop will be asking me for KYC since I am not directly investing m because this has been one of the reasons why many people don’t participate in airdrops or bounties again.

For airdrop, one will wonder how many KYC one has to do for the penny that one will be getting from them. That is why for a while now, I have not really been participating in airdrop except the airdrop has a project that I am convinced will have a real life working product or team that can be verified.
95  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can I spend the daily expense by playing gambling? on: May 18, 2019, 10:36:49 AM
Do you even have to ask this question?

The answer is obviously no, how can you risk the money you need for your daily expenses.
If you read the OP, the answer has been answered by the OP itself. Spending daily expenses by gambling is indeed impossible because gambling is not a place for you to get profits every day, but if you think gambling can help as an additional income, then I think that can still happen if indeed you are sure about luck that will always be there when you bet.
I don’t even need anyone to tell me this, but I am very much aware that getting constant income from gambling is possible but it only requires so much efforts and not everyone can achieve this. Just imagine learning how to stop  game, learning to be disciplined with money, learning to be greedy, learning past team records for sport bettors, all this and many just to become a professional gambler and start getting constant income.

If you know you can’t go through all the learning stages to become a guru, then don’t bother depending on gambling for your daily expenses because that would be a big risk.
96  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People who gamble are degenerates, change my mind. on: May 18, 2019, 09:56:43 AM
I think this word degenerate is a negative one for any person let alone someone who wants to risk a game for money.  If they want to do this type of thing for entertainer=meant value ok then.
If it is doing it everyday then it might be a problem
No word is too bad to be used on a person that wishes to destroy himself, compulsive gambling is a very negative way of gambling, and using negative words on compulsive gamblers should not be termed bad if that would transform them to become better players.

I don’t think anyone would use names on a person that decides to just entertain themselves in gambling without playing to the extreme. Gambling is fun and very good for entertainment but then, there should be a place for moderation in playing. Playing without control till one end up addicted makes the player degenerate. So I don’t care how people feel about this name because I feel, those compulsive gamblers really need to come back to their senses.
On the contrary, using harsh words or calling these compulsive gamblers terrible names as these would not change them in any way, instead it will only make things worse. The reason why most people become addicted to gambling is because they are trying to heal from a wound. Research was carried out sometime back and it was realized that many people who have suffered one trauma or the other, either in their early childhood or as grown up adults have the tendency to suffer gambling addiction.

I feel addicted gamblers should be shown love rather than calling them names. Most of them are playing out of their will.
97  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What importance is kyc In gambling section on: May 18, 2019, 08:44:14 AM
That will break the purpose of crypto's as freedom and decentralized if the casinos start to implement KYC. One good reason that I can see is to filter kids and teenagers registrations and players.

But I don't think that casinos will ever think of it. All they do is business and if their local gov't will issue an order for them to start conducting KYC to their customers, they don't have choice but to obey that order.
In my opinion, the feelings of players should also be put into consideration. I understand that they do this to prevent minors but also take not that most gamblers that are of gambling age also don’t like giving out their private details. I stopped offline gambling after I saw the advantages of crypt gambling over fiat because of the convenience and security.

I personally will not play on a casino site with KYC implementation because I feel it is really of no use. There are other options of sites that do not ask for it before play, so I would rather play on such sites and if all casino sites makes KYC compulsory, then I might be pushed to stop online gambling.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Nem near 40% pump!!! on: May 18, 2019, 08:11:05 AM
I like Nem over xrp becaus i found this is the best coin even it’s again smart contract creation platform it has done some agreement in Middle East in past . Now it’s pumping as it’s potential . Why can’t people choos nem over xrp . Atleast we can support decentrelised over centralised coin.
Although I have not heard of NEM before which I will check out, because I know everyone wants to shill their coins to public not because they really believe in it but because of their investment in it, but I will never invest in any projects based on opinion till I research over it,

The reason why I would also want to research on this project is to see if I will pick interest, I am ready to support any good project that will really displace XRP off the position they have been claiming for a while now, which I feel they don’t deserve, only see them using their centralized power to get there, and not because of their merit.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Believe it or not! XRP Will Go Past $4 on: May 18, 2019, 07:40:12 AM
Seriously ?  Well 4usd is not a serious amount . Its small and xrp is a solid coin . Everyone is expecting a higher price range from xrp   .

What is good news?  This is merely a speculation thread that was started.  Usd value ($4) is based on btc/xrp pair, so to say xrp is "doing good" if it hits $4 is relative. If you buy xrp at 5200 sats and its $.37 and because bitcoin spikes and xrp value is $4 but is only worth 4000 sats that's terrible.  You lost more than 20% of you value if you just kept your money in bitcoin.  Usd value is silly with alts

Why will you loss if you will buy xrp at 5200 sats and if the value of xrp reaches 4 usd ?  I think you will only earn huge profit  . You will only loose if the value of xrp drops below your buying point but xrp is a good coin and it does have the potential to grow more in the future.
Me I stand to lose a lot when I would have invested that 5200 sat in other coins that I am sure of their price increase. XRP cannot really increase in value even if its serving its purpose because it’s being controlled, and whatever is being regulated will not function properly in a decentralized market system.

Uptil now, I am still wondering what ripple did to get to that top position on coinmarketcap, because there are so many great projects like BNB, EOS, ADA, that are more powerful in function than ripple, anyway, I am not part of ripple community and would never have any need or use for ripple.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price on: May 18, 2019, 07:07:26 AM
i think you'd better hold ETH for a long time. Bitcoin reached 20K in December 2017. the price of ETH is close to 1.5k. Recently, bitcoin prices are approaching 10K. However, the price of ether is only $200. it also has a lot of room to rise.
Early investors of ethereum now will really have lots of fun in future, I see ethereum really rising above its last ATH, because there has been lots of development on ethereum since then and after then, and even though it wasn’t reflecting on it yet which was as a result of the general bear market most of the coins was in, but now that they are all in their bull run, I expect those additional features that wasn’t there before to also add as booster to the price of Ethereum when the bull run fully gets to the peak.

So any investor that takes the price of ethereum now as investment pint will really be making avery wise decision.
