441  Economy / Economics / Re: What the true believers know but don't express well on: March 05, 2019, 05:18:02 PM
For the true believers, Bitcoin will always have value as long as it exists.

We will be happy to work or sell goods for 1 btc even if we know the price will move in the future.

The increase of true believers, of their revenue and of their networth drives the price up because as they get older, they get richer and as they get richer, they get more bitcoins. The process takes year and increases bitcoin's strengh and bottoms.

It's not a year or 2 bear market that will chase previous true believers and new true believers arrive in the community everyday and it's pushing the price higher.
I am an addicted believer and I will say that the post is just too accurate. I believe in Bitcoin not because it is just a coin but because it has proved itself that it is trustworthy. Let this bear market continue for another 5 years (though impossible) but then if it does, I would still believe in Bitcoin.

Bitcoin a decentralized system that is not been controlled and cannot be corrupted by anyone and there is full assurance that any investment made in it either in form of  trading or investment will always yield great dividends. I know how tough life was when I achieved my first coin but the story has changed completely and Bitcoin has brought much turn around to my life and other businesses. I think I will consider myself unjust if I do not believe in this coin and much more believe in it
442  Economy / Economics / Re: Spain- Catalonia - Plans on creating a cryptocurrency with an inherent taxation on: March 05, 2019, 01:58:07 PM
I do not even see this ever becoming a reality will buttress on this and they having to refer to bitcoin as a means of speculation, is dumb of them. Bitcoin is volatile and even its investors are aware of it and there’s really no risk in Bitcoin investment, whoever loses in bitcoin does this because of  impatience and back to my point, Spain and Catalan region have always been in disagreement and taxation is one of the reason why they never agree.

The nationalist of Catalan region have not been happy with the way money is been sent from their place to the poorer part of  Spain because Madrid controls the process so the  am very sure that the reason their leader  is trying to make a coin that will get them money straight to their bank hereby avoiding the tax of Spain and this would even bring about more conflict.
443  Economy / Economics / Re: Buy high sell low! PRICE BTC 3800 eur. How? on: March 05, 2019, 01:40:46 PM
Indeed, the moment that keeps us going, even though bitcoin is at the level of $ 3800, but must stick to the increase that occurs.
Even though we are manipulated and pumped, we will be able to use good opportunities for the benefits we need.
That’s the point exactly, irrespective of peoples negative opinion of Bitcoin, what we foresee is the greatness and the better tomorrow, so it’s best we see this time as an opportunity that came by because in year 2017 when Bitcoin was about $7000 it was everyone’s wish to own at least one Bitcoin buy because it was very high then only the super-rich could afford many couldn’t buy much.

I was happy with the at that time  but a part of me wished it could drop and give me an opportunity to gather more Bitcoin and here we have that opportunity, and I believe I won’t take it for granted and same thing applies to many people like me who at a point wished for a period like this. We only be patient till the time is ripe and that is not a problem at all.
444  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: day trading is like having sex on: March 05, 2019, 09:22:34 AM
My friend just quote this one. I think he is right

Day trading is like having sex.

[siz e=16pt][colo r=red]''Get in and out as much and as fast as possible to get satisfied maximally.''

I think this exactly explains day trading. I am a day trader myself. I rather get in and out of the market 50-100 times a day and take small profits with smaller amounts of my balance than trying to chase a couple percent in 1 trade.
LOL mate, are you trying to tell the house that you are a 1 minute man when it comes to sex, that is not good my brother.
Back to business, I don’t think coming in and out so fast is that easy considering the fact that the market is unpredictable and not by guessing, you still have to make use of your indicators and analyses technically and fundamentally before engaging in the trading.

You need to study the time to get in while the time to get out actually depends on you and your contentment level but it is not so easy to really know when to get in even with all the indicators available to you.
445  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to calculate sell after all fees on: March 05, 2019, 08:46:21 AM
Hi,

Can someone help me with the formula?

Market fee when buying = 0.1%
Market fee when selling  = 0.15%
If I buy 0.2 BTC at 3800$, at what price must I sell so the profit will be 0.3% in USD?

Can anyone help me, please?
Usually, I don’t set my profit that low because it doesn’t make much sense if I have to pay 0.25 percent market fee. Like you said, if you entered the market with 3800 usd which market fee is 0.1 percent leaving you with balance of 3796 usd to trade with. If you are to take 0.3 percent profit completely, it means you must first add the market selling fee of 0.15 percent, so total increase you must attain before you can sell is 0.45 percent of your balance. That is 0.45% of 3796 which is 17.1 usd.

Hence, total amount you can get to before selling to attain the 0.3% profit should be 3813.082. So you are talking about 13 usd increase on your initial capital.
446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH Technical Analysis by CryptoReggae on: March 05, 2019, 08:10:48 AM
Sometimes as a trader, I feel  that I still don’t understand the logic behind the upward and downward trend of some of this crypto currencies even with the assistance of technical and fundamental analysis, though using indicators, I didn’t get any hope that ethereum will rise high anytime soon but base on the upgrade and speculation.

I had all hopes in ethereum expecting it to at least start appreciate more than the initial value it was after the upgrade but the way it is now, it seems the price really got wore that it was before the upgrade done recently. We still hope to see what the week has in store for us.
447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: New Coins with huge ICO price on: March 04, 2019, 03:49:48 PM
What is your take on new tokens with unnecessarily large ICO prices? Scam or Genuine?

With such prices, their ICO usually takes a lot of time and people still invest, is there a possibility of it being a good project because I just stumbled on one now with with current ICO price of $2.74 and they intend on increasing it in the future
I don't know what kind of ICO will charge up to $2 for making purchase of tokens, maybe they are doing it so that just small amount of persons will make purchase of the coins thereby driving the price up to 1000% profit. Though the reverse might be the case, how can i buy a coin that is not yet listed on exchange for $2 when i don't know what the worth would be once it hits the exchange, even ethereum was way cheaper.
I have actually see some ICOs in the past that started their Initial Coin offering at a very high price, looking at MAKER, in fact their ICO price was as high as 24 usd looking at their historical data on coin market price and now they are presently on 663 which has even gone low compared to the high price it had around April last year.

So, it’s not about the price but the project itself. If you see that most ICO don’t even enter exchange till after ICO and if we based it on high price before ICO, we might really missed lots of viable projects to invest in.
448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dropil. Still didn't notice ? on: March 04, 2019, 03:06:54 PM
I don't just look at a coin because i believe there would be a bull run in the price of that coin in the nearest future, crypto is just far beyond price and it's time for us to have understanding about this, very soon, we might not need to equate the value of bitcoin with that of USD because bitcoin and other crypto will have its own value.

Hence, let's focus on the real live value the project offers than on bull run that won't last.
449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you long on, and why? on: March 02, 2019, 05:22:11 PM
I chose Stellar (XLM / STR), Ripple (XRP) and Doge. Stellar is very active in cooperating with large companies, Ripple penetrates more in the financial and banking world. while doge now a very large community coin.
Stellar and ripple are very good coins and I currently invest in them, including Tron, Monero and ETH.
As for Doge, I once invested in it in 2015/2016 when I was still new to cryptocurrency, but later quit after I sold the dogecoins I had then.

Ever since then I have not been investing in Doge and I hardly see people mention it in this forum. There are some new altcoins I think are worth investing in, still doing my research on Electrify Asia ($ELEC) and PundiX, but seem to be very good but I’m not jumping immediately, gotta have patience .
450  Economy / Economics / Re: Is anybody tracking lost bitcoins? on: March 02, 2019, 04:44:32 PM
i am just collecting info about lost bitcoins.

i want addresses with lost private keys / no private keys / or any other addresses with unavailable bitcoins

is anybody can point me if such data set is already exist or just post such addresses here.
There is nothing you can do about lost bitcoins and I don’t think there is anything you can do about them. There is no services or such that tracks lost bitcoins and you can’t know it’s lost until the owner of the address admits that it is lost and they no longer have access to it, and even after that, there is no way to recover those lost bitcoins as long as the owner cannot remember the key they used to lock it.

there has been a lot of loss of bitcoin but it can't be found anymore because every day the transaction is so many that it makes it difficult for us to track
The funniest thing is that there is no way to tell if the Bitcoin in an address is lost or being saved for a rainy day. The only way you can know they are lost is that the users comes open about it. Just like that of James Howells of Wales that lost about 7,500 bitcoins (damn!)and there was no way for him to recover it. That would he worth a lot of money by now. I also see a lot of people at the services section of the forum that post their addresses with lost bitcoins in it and there haven’t been any success in recovering those coins till date.

452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Understand addiction! on: February 28, 2019, 08:36:16 PM
i know im an addict but i can keep under  control i love gambling but we must know our some limits

Be careful when you say you are addicted because you need to have a high control for your emotion. I see many addicted people get in trouble because of their addiction and I don't want to see you in trouble too. It's better you realize that you should reduce the addiction to gambling and reducing to play any games related to gambling. Although you already make limits on the gambling games, it doesn't guarantee you can quit gambling.
To quit gambling is not necessary but the most important is to have good control over our emotion. I think most of the people do not lose money because that they are addicted to but I think that the main reason is that people do not have control on their emotions.
To me although I have good strategy and limit for my gambling activities, but still some times its become more difficult for me to control my emotions and therefore I continue playing gambling tell I lose everything.
453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you play loteries ,did you won something on: February 28, 2019, 08:23:34 PM
I haven't played online lotteries, but have been into offline lotteries. Now in my country the shuffling of lotteries sold offline were also made shuffled on internet and the results were displayed online. In that I haven't got big winning, but it didn't gave me a big loss. As many lottery based scripts were coming into use it is hard to pick and play on.

Played offline too but unfortunately no luck of winning. But I did not really spend much money on that. Just to try my lucky numbers I guess.
Same with me, every time i think for a numbers I always place my bet but so far I don’t win anything from this. Its too hard to win even if you bet everyday because there is so many combination numbers and its too impossible for you to win. I’m also not wasting my money on this kind of gambling.
In fact it is totally luck based game, you need to divert your gambling from luck based game to such gambling games where you have some options to use your mind and experience. I hope you will be successful there.
I personally like to play gambling mostly on sports gambling. I have already spend a lot of time in sports and therefore its comparatively easy for me to make money from sports gambling.
454  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fighting your own FOMO on: February 28, 2019, 08:08:04 PM
Sometimes we are the cause of our loses, greed takes over us and we keep staying in the market even when our target profit has been reached, this is one issue about FOMO.
You hit the point mate, the number one problem of crypto traders in greed and not until they lose several times before they learn their lessons. Though it took me too 2 great losses to learn my lesson before I stopped being greedy when trading, I trade without putting any form of risk management in place but I ever since I got to know better, I virtually make profit everyday day trading without any form of losses no matter how little the profit might seems. I have also learnt to make use of my stop loss too which is a vital trading tool.
455  Economy / Economics / Re: Is anybody tracking lost bitcoins? on: February 28, 2019, 07:16:53 PM
I think it is completely impossible to get back information on lost bitcoin. This is almost impossible.

I have read stories of people who have died with more than million dollars in their wallet and families find it so difficult to get it out. The last story of a man with more than 10million dollars in his wallet and he died without telling any of his family members his key. So I seriously think it’s impossible to do this.
456  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Opinions of People Like Yours on: February 28, 2019, 06:44:54 PM
I think you need to start to learn the basic and try to see the fundamental of the coins that you invest, most of the coin that you mention are not a good coin, its advisable to start trading with a small amount but stronger coin like bitcoin or eth, if you want to learn to trade then start with the chart, and follow the group signal, start building your experience by learning from trading directly
I still don't know why some people are hoping for a shit coin to pump in heaven, there is really something that people need to know about how the market works not the just merely the demand and supply law. They should have basis of investment since the not all coins in the market is not profitable anymore. You're right, have an experience on strong contender on the market.
You know everyone is entitled to your own opinion, what you see as shit coin might not be to someone, it depends on the level of understand of the coin  project, I remembered when I wanted to buy Docademic though very low in price now just like major altcoins, I got an advise from a friend that he has ready the contract and understands the project but the coin is a shitty coin.

I also read the contract and believe in the project, thank God I bought when it was 0.2 which later grew to 0.4, that is how my 1500 usd investment gave me double return before finally crashed in price just like other coins are now, I know there are lots of shit coins out there, that is why one should not even invest in it rather than get to the stage of having to wait for it to pump which might never happen.
457  Economy / Marketplace / Re: $1000 to spare each month, how would you invest it? on: February 28, 2019, 04:58:58 PM
I don’t know if you do follow up with any of these technical analysis, like on Cointelegraph.com, they do analysis, mainly on the top ten cryptocurrencies in the market. Maybe you should just buy the top coins and hodl them till the price goes up. That’s the best thing I can advise you to do as of now. Your choice though.

Anyone who is holding of affordable money must invest into cryptos for the basis of long-term trading. It is not actual trading but it is an investment but it may turn as trading in short-term because crypto's are going to boom at any time.
458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Listing an Exchange on Coinmarketcap on: February 28, 2019, 07:27:15 AM
Coinmarketcap actually looks at the trade volume of your exchange before listing it.
The last time I checked, your exchange will have to get a minimum of 50,000 USD trade per 24 hours basis.

You can also fasten the listing of your exchange by also telling your team to send a listing request to them. Once coinmarketcap see a request from lots of users and the exchange meets requirements, it would be listed immediately.
459  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the main problem with the crypto market at the moment? on: February 27, 2019, 08:46:40 PM
I don’t think there is any problem, cause to me, this is just a normal thing. It is no problem at all, despite I have seen a lot of people say a lot of things that they believe is causing the price of cryptocurrencies to be this low. Some have mentioned ETF as the cause of it, and others have also mentioned a lot of things they believe are causing it, but I don’t believe in all that.
460  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Earning cryptocurrency doing your everyday shopping in this bear market. on: February 27, 2019, 07:59:29 PM
Honestly I'm not a fan of international online shopping, I'm afraid my package will be lost. But knowing now reward.com, this make me tempt to order and just find an option for the payment. Who could resist huge rewards? You guys really know how to catch your customers.

I like your flight bookings and hotel accom though these are specifically in US so I can't book on unless I travel in US, lol. But seriously you got a nice concept here.
Yes there is a chance that you can lose your package, therefore you should select such a courier which is more trusted and you have already used for shipping. For example Ali Baba is the best option, which I think that the most trusted company, and hope that they can deliver your package very safe to you.

In fact in modern time we can expect to use online means of shopping throughout the world.
