701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I am buying bitcoins - and why I am keeping them. on: September 06, 2018, 10:26:23 AM
bitcoin is relly good for long term invesment, hold untill by the end of the year and you will take big profit

Of course now it is good to hold because price use to rise and it never stop at any point, I am sure one day it will be above your expectation, I have seen a lot of people getting good advantage of buying bitcoin at the lower price as it is right now and it keep on rising since now, I prefer buying at low and hold till it get high so that is the reason why I am with bitcoin and I never stop investing and buying coin.
Buying bitcoin is such a potential investment if you know how to hold it. Holding is such a safe method to gain benefits, and of course it’s not a great idea if you keep holding all time, but with hodling you perhaps feel comfortable. Indeed, you need to be more flexible while planing any strategy. I can say for sure that most of people  know that buying with low price can bring them a large fruits, it shows their smart because they understand how to take advantages in the market.
Knowing how to hold bitcoin should not even be the case for anyone but knowing the reason for holding is actually the main point any investor should be trying to take note of. You will buy into a market if you believe in the long term and future of the market and that would make it an easy hold for you and believing in the long term totally depends on how you are able to identify what makes the project come with a lot of prospect in the first place and how demand for it is going to keep increasing in the long run.
702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: right time to buy eth? on: September 06, 2018, 09:56:02 AM
ethereum going down day by day, so i am confused now, cause i want to invest here, what do you think about eth ? i mean this is the correct time to buy eth? or i should wait more?
300 dollars should be the first indicator for the purchase, and the second of course this is a small increase in bitcoin. While this is all observed and it is predicted that a little more will last, in principle, you can safely invest.
We are in a region between July 2017 and November 2017 before the bull run started to a value above $1000. I see that as an opportunity for anyone who is actually looking for a means to be a part of this market at a very low price. No one can ascertain if the price would go lower than it is currently, but one thing we can be sure about it is that once the market starts showing sign of recovery, it would be a good buy for anyone at this point in time.
703  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You determine when to lose or make money, Stop Blaming the Market on: September 05, 2018, 12:54:23 PM
What we determine by selling or buying IS the market. Hence when we are blaming the market we are blaming that "you" you are talking about. We are not a collective group, we are all individuals and while some of us believe that bitcoin worths a lot more and while its going down we go crazy while some of us belives that bitcoin is overvalued and sell our coins so we are all doing different stuff on bitcoin and crypto.

When we are blaming the market we are basically blaming the people who disagrees with our direction for bitcoin. That is all. If you think that we are blaming this market thats some third part deal than you are wrong, we just blame other people when we mean market.
704  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do Not be Greedy on: September 05, 2018, 12:06:50 PM
I agree with your opinion at first when I start trading I want to make huge profit I don't sell my coin low profit but later market down I lost my coin so more greedy isn't good .
Such situation occurring is not just all about greed, it is about not having a plan before you even start trading. There are some conditions in the market that if known, you will be able to make quality decisions in the market without any stress at all or the point of being greedy or not being greedy.

Knowing when to sell is as important as knowing when to buy, unless you are just very sure the trend is changing, or a reversal signal, then you will just be picking or dropping market at any point you feel like.
705  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Benefits of gambling? Yes - it exists! on: September 04, 2018, 12:01:20 PM
Playing the dice game is a great way to pass the time, and if you play it conservatively you cant lose all your money.
Its nice that I can roll the dice and only risk a few cents- instead of when I bet sports and there is a few mbtc minimum (chance to lose more).

Totally agree that you get more playtime for your money, but i think a lot of players like the thrills of playing slots with Crypto and hope to get to the bonus rounds where they can get up to 1000x bet.  But of course its also a really easy way to loose your money fast. however you should never bet for more money than you can afford to loose.
That last part says it all. Everyone can decide to have their own reason for gambling, which a lot of people are doing it for the possibility of winning some huge money at the end, some because they said they want to have some fun and so on and so forth.
What is important is to understand that as long as gambling is concerned, the chances of losing is still pretty high and better to keep that at the back of the mind than getting to find out the hard way.

In as much as people can understand that last part and put it at the back of their mind, I guess we will end up having a sane world of gambling. I know a lot of fun can be had in real casinos anyway to discard the mentality of winning at all cost, but for online gambling, I would say it is not necessarily the case.

A lot of people have ended up finding it the hard way because they could not control themselves and that is where the main problem starts for them. So, in a way, benefit can only be applicable to those who really are having fun, the casino owners and the government.
706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A huge project in sight on: September 04, 2018, 11:24:16 AM
I looked at the website and was ready to dismiss it but then I checked out this, https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2018/may/06/two-friends-invent-smart-ticket-tech-outwit-touts, in The Guardian and I remembered hearing about it earlier.
That was exactly my reaction on their website too. No complaints about the activity of their github page, but they have to be more aggressive with their internet presence (website).

Now regarding investing in their token, I guess they will have to share the fate of all similar utility tokens of this type (Ticketchain, Blocktix). No question there is a real life usability for their token, but the velocity won't be great.
I also had that same reaction as well and I really was coming back here to tongue lash even the OP and the whole team entirely for having such a wobbled site put together. It is a good project from other things I can garner asides the website, but honestly, first impression matters a lot and the team should endeavor to work more on the site so as to create a very good impression once a potential investor visits.

Like you also said, there are similar tokens with same utility, so if this project wants to make a huge presence, it should be ready to do even better to stand out.
707  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Forex trading or crypto trading and stock exchange? on: September 04, 2018, 10:45:16 AM
I am a professional cryptocurrency trader but in a couple of years ago I know about Forex trading. In my online history of life at first I know in stock exchange because this is a local exchange as I know too many people platform. around 2 year ago I know about Forex and cryptocurrency at the moment I am use cryptocurrency trading because it is a low risk involved anyone can start cryptocurrency trading because it have a very tolerance to understand. I think Cryptocurrency is a very profitable at the moment.
Cryptocurrency and stock market somehow stand in par and it is nothing compared to Forex anyway considering the fact that you are going to be leveraging.

For crypto trading and investment, it is a new space and for new space and early adopters, it is normal to see such a market growing rapidly in the short term before eventually coming into some state of equilibrium eventually where things become even more stable. This is a very volatile market, and for those who can trade the volatility and can also learn, this is a market for them.
708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: US Presidential Candidate Taps Bitcoin and Ethereum on: September 03, 2018, 10:04:10 AM
It seems like We now have the first US presidential candidate who accepts Bitcoin and Ethereum, members of Congress revealing their crypto holdings.

Andrew Yang, the “Humanity First” candidate for president, is now accepting Bitcoin, Ethereum and all ERC20 tokens to help support his bid for the US presidency. Supporters can donate to the American entrepreneur’s campaign by following the link for Yang 2020.
https://dailyhodl.com/2018/07/25/us-presidential-candidate-taps-bitcoin-and-ethereum-as-donation-payment-options/

It is not a bad thing, but it does not really matter. Politicians can say whatever they like as long as they want to reach specific target population anyway. However, if true, it makes a lot of sense to have someone who is a crypto enthusiast in power as that could actually bring about some positivity for the space in terms of further development around legalization and probable regulations as the case may be within the US. Something like this can easily send signals to the minds of some, but nothing too particular to instigate huge market movement upwards.
709  Economy / Marketplace / Re: I can I predict the Dump and Pump of the price? on: September 01, 2018, 08:41:00 AM
Hi I want to ask how can I predict the Dump and Pump of the price of the market? How can I earn with the Pump of the price aside from hodling, trading, joining some bounty and how can I also earn with the Dump price in the market?
Maybe if you are able to see vision and tell when people are about to take some certain actions then will you be able to predict their next move lol.

When you’re Hodling you’re already participating, so when there is a pump you don’t need to do anything, all you got to do is sit and watch your Hodl increase in price and make profit. As for as how you can make profit when there is a dump– you will have to become a trader and also participate in other activities like bounties and ICO.
710  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Main reason behind crypto currencies red market in 2018 on: August 31, 2018, 10:47:04 AM
2018 has so far seen the highest funds jointly raised through ICOs.
This has a minimal effect on bitcoins value, a lot of other factors also have effects in the price.
There has been very little real possitive news for the most of 2018.

Is it? I thought 2017 was the highest amount of raised funds through ICOs that may never be repeated again because most ICO developers have already scammed millions of $ from the community. The community is wiser now but also out of BTC and $ to burn lol.
2018 has not yet ended though, but the number of ICOs that popped out successfully this year was really huge and I can really say it might be the year that brought about some difference for ICOs.

Last year was really more of a joke with huge number of scams and projects that ended up the drain eventually, but this time around, with investors getting wiser each and every day and new ones knowing what they should be doing before investing in ICOs, we have seen solid new projects hitting their soft caps at least.
711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you had to choose between these 6 cryptocurrencys, What's your pick? on: August 31, 2018, 10:09:53 AM
My choice is Cardano, the first blockchain project developed in the philosophical field, which is technically secure, flexible and scalable, and is used by millions of users. It has been applied to many fields. I am very optimistic.
I am highly optimistic about Cardano's future as well. I like the fact that it brings about the efficient use of technology and practices as a third generation coin, where scalability and sustainability is taken care of and for future development, it is indeed a great treasure to behold, not to talk of the team of scientists and academics that is solidly behind the project and if there is anything you really want to be considering, this would be one of them. I want to believe this is one of the few coins that would really still have a chance for a huge growth in coming months or years.
712  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't be discouraged! Keep holding. on: August 31, 2018, 08:31:59 AM
hodl it, you will get so much benefit in the future. if the bitcoin block is getting thinner, then the price of bitcoin will be more expensive because there are only fewer available bitcoin supply
This is only a gospel that those who know the reason they invested into the space in the first place will end up understanding which we know they are quite few in this space as most investors are just looking for fast ways to get rich.

Understanding what you are holding and its prospect in the future is one of the things that would make anyone ignore all the noises in the market in the short term and focus on the long term and like I always say, if you concentrate too much on the present, you will find it hard to see what the future holds.
713  Economy / Economics / Re: Ideas on how to profit from TUSD true usd.... on: August 31, 2018, 07:39:26 AM
I have never invested in TUSD because getting a profit takes a long time, but I am interested in investing in stocks, using my TUSD
There is nothing to invest in TUSD, as that would be more like you investing in fiat. It is just not different from its counterpart USDT where it is backed by the original USD value and whether you like it or not, it will always be tagged to 1USD since it is controlled and centralized.

The main essence is to be able to have a hedge in the case where the market gets to start dropping, which would be a safe way of trading against other volatile cryptocurrencies.
714  Economy / Speculation / Re: How high will BTC dominance go? on: August 29, 2018, 06:18:19 PM
I still believe a whole lot of altcoins will be taking a huge drop in price before the end of the year and so many even packing their shit base out of the market.

The bitcoin market dominance shows a lot of smart moneys are moving in the market with the hope of long investment, but can we really say that means so much considering this is something that can still change if we start seeing some bullish activities on altcoins ?

I don't know, but I feel we are laying so much emphasis on this dominance too much, but in the real sense, it is all just based on how the market is responding since virtually most traders are looking to make money from all markets.
715  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I want to start trading on: July 12, 2018, 11:28:10 AM
Okay so I don't really have any idea which coin is which and which of those are good to trade and which are not.
Since I am currently enrolled in yobit campaign, I figured maybe I can do something profitable with the coins that I get from the campaign so I thought maybe I can start trading.
Do you guys recommend yobit in trading altcoins?
Also what coins do you guys suggest I trade? I want profits and not loses so any tips you guys can give me are really appreciated.
If you want to start trading I think the best thing you have to do is start by approaching one of your friends who is into the same business and is a crypto trader. They will help you learn it better cause you’re there with them. Coming online here to search for help is of no use.

Or maybe you can find someone that teaches Bitcoin/crypto trading where you live. Why is good to look for someone to learn from face-to-face is because they will teach you better, answer your questions properly and help you understand.
716  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Cryptocurrency is Great, But How Many Persons Know That? on: July 12, 2018, 10:51:34 AM
Weis aims to provide social media and digital marketing services to provide more awareness of cryptocurrencies and how we will reform a user friendly platform to filter the huge amount of information available to those entering the crypto market and to those already operating within it.

Ethereum smart contract technology will be used to provide a streaming media platform designed to put new and emerging talent shoulder to shoulder with established artists and household names, and in turn bringing more users and awareness to crypto.

However, there are so many more cool reasons why the project will thrive, especially the token.

You can check their whitepaper very carefully under the token section to understand what I am talking about.

To read up more about their project, please check their website here - https://weishub.com/
You can also quickly scan through their ANN thread here - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3495546.msg36235747#msg36235747
Or join them on telegram to follow up on project updates - https://t.me/weishub
Everybody doesn’t need to know about it, only those that are into the area of investment and such are the ones that needs to know about it. You shouldn’t be expecting someone who is a doctor to come and sit down and be talking about Bitcoin, while they are supposed to focus on their patients.

You also shouldn’t expect someone who is a teacher to be focusing on Bitcoin and leave their job of teaching children in school. Let’s assume that you find out that your child’s school teacher is not being serious in teaching your child and only focuses on Bitcoin, will you be happy? No you won’t. So let things be as it is.
717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is crypto bubble bursting finally? on: July 12, 2018, 09:52:47 AM
Bitcoin has many pitfalls, such as slow confirmations, too large blockchain data, too few coin supply cause too high price.
Okay Bitcoin might have some shortcomings but as compared to the advantages, the shortcomings can be ignored. Besides, the price depreciation does not mean it is bursting. We had had so many price falls in the previous years and if it were a bubble, it would have burst long ago.

Besides, why would the it gain a status of general acceptability in countries like USA and the European countries? Of course it has great potential and calling it a bubble is the sign of irrationality.
718  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think the whales are manipulating the markets on: July 11, 2018, 11:11:46 AM
This market i think is always in the hands of whale , because of it's low volume as compared to other financial sectors its quite easy to manipulate. manipulation is a crime and should be regulated accordingly. if it's not stopped crypto is doomed.
I believe in big investments which will manipulate the market is relevant direction if we invest with huge amounts. On the other hand it will be like an acclivity for the Bitcoin to travel with difficulty if market records less investments or investments with fewer amounts.

Now days we are in a low market but we observed a little up rise in the value of Bitcoin which indicates that the demand rate has improved a little which is the result of investments.
719  Economy / Economics / Re: Lost Bitcoins on: July 11, 2018, 10:40:19 AM
No one knows exactly how many bitcoins are lost in the wallets of the old owners and nothing can be done about it. But even without this, the price of bitcoin will gradually increase every year, as there is a deficit. People wishing to get it become more and less tokens themselves here and have it.
Yes, because the total number of Bitcoins remaining on the market is very little, so according to the rule of supply-demand, the value of Bitcoin will grow year by year. I believe Bitcoin will achieve a new milestone this year than 2017.
That is apex of optimism about the market status of Bitcoin. What I believe is that even if Bitcoin could not achieve a new milestone in 2018, it will at least cross the $20000 for sure.

The fact that the number of coins is limited and many of them have been owned already, the supply will diminish with the passage of time which will of course results to a price rise more than proportionately. This simply lead to the prediction that the worth of Bitcoin will be touching the sky in years to come.
720  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I wish I dump all the BTC in late DEC 2017 on: July 11, 2018, 10:09:52 AM
what a year, wish I dump all the coin in late DEC lol

and today, spend the 100% from that capital and bought it again, so u still holding the same amount as late DEC while steady with the 900% profits..

Well..it's been a very valuable lesson..hopefully we get another December, and do what we learned and not give in to greed once more  Wink
Yeah it is useless crying over spilt milk. But is does not mean we will not have another boom in the crypto. The market is still full of money and some experts are speculating about the high prices in months to come particularly in December.

Having said that, we are in a position to say that an investment today will be double or more than double tomorrow. It is rather an incentive for the investors to step in right now.
