921  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is the most effective method for Coin Trading? on: April 20, 2018, 07:24:16 PM
The most effective way is never to expect 100% profit and always leave room for errors; otherwise you will end up overworking yourself and getting too emotional before you even know it. We should always be ready to adapt quickly to any changes as they come and that is actually what makes a trader most of the time a good one.

As long as you are able to cut those small losses if you know what you are doing or a support is not holding, you will be able to prevent huge ones and have a better entry to get the best result at the end.
922  Economy / Economics / Re: Will regulating cryptomarkets increase or decrease trading volumes? on: April 20, 2018, 06:46:34 PM
I don't agree with it. Now there are many trust funds that invest in various projects. How much did you earn from investing in these funds? It will be the same with government regulation. The most promising projects will be recognized as unreliable and will be redeemed by the rich. These projects will generate revenue for them. The most promising projects can be banned by the government for political reasons.
If such a thing is going to happen, would there not be something to hold against it to be able to easily ban it? As long as the promising project is legal and not going against the law, I am sure such a thing would not happen. Sure, in that case, we should expect the bigger players to want to be holding a strong hand in such a market and there is no 2 ways about that, as this would give them a chance to be the market maker in every scenario of the market as the case may be.

Getting the support from the government will give the crypto market better trust from others and it means more money will come in to cryptocurrency specially to bitcoin.
Yes, in that kind of scenarios, we should expect that a lot of big investors in the finance sector will also want to be a part of the cryptocurrency ecosystem since there are so much benefits to derive from it and in that case, there would be a lot of volume in that case considering how big the institutions are always into anything they want to be a part of. In as much as annoying regulation may sound sometimes, the actual fact is that we really need it to move forward.
923  Economy / Economics / Re: Digital Money = Cashless Society on: April 20, 2018, 02:36:31 PM
If this is true about China, then it's cool, I would like to have it in my country like in China. Paper money is an outdated way of shopping.
It has been happening in most of the developed countries and developing ones.
Most places are gradually becoming cashless with the help of the internet, most banks now have their own applications which you can easily do transactions, you can easily pay for goods with your ATM or transfer and stuffs like that.

I personally hardly carry cash on me most times simply because I always end up not using it for a very long time. Cryptocurrency will really make it even more interesting as we forge ahead.
924  Economy / Economics / Re: Factor to Consider on: April 20, 2018, 02:04:17 PM
It should take into account the factor that someone can raise the price of a few thousand when he wants, and then drop when he wants.
And that is usually the crazy strategies the whales always play and make a lot of people to get into FOMO and then all of a sudden dump on them.

It is very important not to ever enter a market that is already going extremely up as that is going to end up more like a gamble most of the time. In such cases, it is necessary to always buy during accumulation and traders always see those moments and take their time to accumulate as well. Then, when you start seeing the FOMO into play, you can then sell.
925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can blockchain change financial industry? on: April 20, 2018, 08:04:39 AM
Short answer: YES!
It has many applicabilities, and there is no question about it. If our societies want to further develop, we need to use and implement blockchain.
The applications are even far more than what we are seeing now as it seems that as we keep moving forward, it just keeps getting better. This is one thing that would really be changing the financial sector and for some countries, we are already beginning to see these changes. Some may be in the forefront to take the rapid steps, while some would still lag, but over time, we will get to see most global financial system accepting the future and integrating it into the system. So far so good, we are already seeing the real life application in our own way and that is just so awesome.
926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins to buy? on: April 20, 2018, 07:32:08 AM
I think that it is necessary to buy litecoin, they want to release their payment system on this coin and this will give them great popularity and growth!
Litecoin may actually be having some pretty good move in the market this year based on some of the development going on with it. The Op should not be asking this question as every investor should always be ready to understand the market and do some research on their own.

A lot of people that are always looking forward to being spoon fed, usually end up in the bad side of things when things start going awry or when the coins suggested to them ended up being shitty. For instance, check out what happened to CTR, and I can remember vividly that so many people suggested this token to new investors in the past.
927  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Quit your job to promote bounty campaigns fulltime: unrealistic???? on: April 20, 2018, 06:57:09 AM
Yes , it is really possible, I'm also doing this and its quite tiring doing more than 100 bounties a week. And yes your friend is right because not all bounties paid on time. So you need to join many bounties to compensate other loss income.
I feel this is going to be extremely hard to achieve. No matter how many bounties that are done, I always see it as a long term investment? Also, what is the point trying to leave job for bounty when it is something that can easily be done without stress with any job.

I feel it is actually unrealistic to imagine this would be an equivalent to a job with steady income unless you are planning to combine it with trading. I really do not think there is any amount of bounty campaign you can join that would really make any sense in short term income compared to having a steady income.

Even if you end up joining 100 in a month, what are the chances you will see up to that in the first place, also, what are the chances that 10% of this ICOs will round up within a month and then pay you within this same period and lastly, what are the chances that they will be hitting an exchange immediately. Unless long term, realistically, it is impossible.

929  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Effects of Gambling on: April 19, 2018, 04:59:11 PM
how can you handle this possible effects of gambling in your life?

By limiting the funds you are set to gamble. I never put too much money in any gambling account, most of the time it was just some mBTCs and I cashed out when I'm 5x or something.

Yesterday I turned $10 to some hundreds but damn I ended up losing it all. Biggest regret in gambling I had this week, wish I would have cashed that out instead of being greedy.
Thats great, you know how to control yourself in playing gambling because if you wont going to limit yourself then surely you will lose some of it. Big loss was the greeatest bad effect of gambling because at first you will the pleasure as the time goes by you didnt notice that it getting back all your profit from it.
It is one thing to be able to control yourself by limiting what you play with and it is another thing to get greedy and not be able to control yourself until you lose it all back. The thing is that gambling really do have a way of making you feel excited when you are winning to want to go ahead and also have a way of making you susceptible to wanting to play further to recover losses when you are losing which is the reason why it is always necessary to have that huge level of self-control.
930  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin hit $25k in 2018? on: April 18, 2018, 05:22:49 AM
It could! And that should actually be a big COULD. I know we are in a speculative market and so far, bitcoin has turned to more of a speculative asset than a currency until further notice. $25k at the end of this year is very reasonable, at least, far better than those who are expecting us to have the same level of bull run we had last year occurring again this year.

However, since you have asked a question, the answer is no one can know if we get to see this happen or not since we really do not know what the future holds. At least, I did not even see bitcoin hitting as much as $10k early last year, let alone, over $19k. I personally do not assume for the market in the long run, as I always believe in the market doing its thing, but I have great hope for the future.
Absolutely right. One thing with this market is that it is highly complex and extremely volatile with any possibilities in a very short while.

I know it is easy for us all to speculate and assume a value for bitcoin in a very short while, but one thing is that the market will always do what it likes based on how people and traders must have perceived it but I have learned not to always expect so much and at the same time, believe in some impossibilities.

I am sure before the end of the year, we should see bitcoin testing the previous ATH and probably breaking it. However, we have seen how the market has moved long in consolidation mode for a very long time before and even though we cannot use that to judge, anything is still very possible. I believe the future holds a lot, but we really cannot know exactly what it holds until we get to see it happen.
931  Economy / Speculation / Re: 60 minutes and Bitcoin value jumped to $7,800 on: April 18, 2018, 03:58:15 AM
bitcoin will contiuneto rise at its own pace and will be more stable than ever over the next few months which is whats needed!
Obviously, and there is really no reason to rush for the market. Those people who have panicked and gotten out of the market will surely reap what they deserve in the long run anyway. With this short quick demand rush in the market shows how volatile the bitcoin market is, and that should give new investors that mindset that the market is always going to switch back to a new trend at its own time and what is just required is patience.

In the past also bitcoin prices have jumped in similar percentage but there will be no use from that as how fast it move forward then with similar pace it come down. Slow and steady appreciations attract more investors which make bitcoin stronger and I am also like that kind of market movement only.
932  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this the Stable Btcoin Price? on: April 17, 2018, 07:19:49 PM
It is very difficult to realize for some people, but Bitcoin price will be always volatile. That is why trading is a real art.
But stability is one thing that should be expected when there is a huge uncertainty in the market but that does not mean that it would still not keep having some pretty quick fluctuations once in a while which may even still tend to lower spots as time goes on.

All the above, the truth is we had a bull market throughout last year, so we should also enjoy it if the whole 2018 ends up being a bear market. It is the way things can be in any market, it only takes patience to get the best for the future for those who are holding long positions.
933  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Would you recommend this method to earn? on: April 17, 2018, 06:21:18 PM
finding hard to use USDT as a Neutral coin as many alt coins wont exchange to it, only the main ones like LTC, or BTC etc
would you guys recommend XRP ripple as a neutral hold?
or would exchanging back and forth to FIAT - usd to secure gains, and then put back in then the numbers go green again?
I do not exchange with ripple as you really cannot trust what the future of that coin would be and more over it is a centralized coin, what i would do is to convert it to bitcoin and then move to exchanges that you can trade USDT and convert your coins, i am yet to trust USDT because of the lack of transparency from the team, whenever i sell alts i usually store in bitcoin.
Why on earth will anyone ever want to use ripple as a base for exchanging into fiat when USDT corresponds directly to USD and is one of the most used by most exchanges. What the OP has stated is really not something new and that is more like trading your coin against fiat.

Apparently, it is the only way you can always take advantage of the high level of volatility in the market, it may be Ethereum, bitcoin or any other coin that the exchange permits to trade against fiat.

I guess more people must need some idea about how USDT works and what are advantages of using it against fiats. Until then, making use of this fixed value crypto could not be possible for them. In some sense, USDT is seeming more popular still many people are not aware how it works and what are the advantages of it.
934  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you think about new Bittrex platform? on: April 17, 2018, 05:41:59 PM
It is difficult to see and not easy to use the functions in bittrex. I just wish they would change on the old platform. I do not know that bittrex has hired a bad designer for their site
For all the money bittrex have been making all these while, I do not actually expect them to come out with something of these low in quality. At least, they should have taken usability test seriously in my case and know what the users may actually want. However, maybe they feel pushing it out and getting feedbacks from there would make the changes easier but I always believe in trying to do it right first.

Yes... of course, they really need a good UI designer as it seems they are lacking one.
935  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do's for trade in recent downtrend??? on: April 17, 2018, 02:43:36 PM
Enthusiastic points you got though brother Wink
Very interesting ones and I just hope a lot of newbies are reading it. One thing I would like to point out however is that everyone should understand that as long as you do not end up learning before you trade, there is every tendency of being susceptible to fears, panic and emotions. It is a normal thing, which is more like you trying to do something you do not have any knowledge about and as long as you keep doing that, you will only end up doing more harm to your asset that good.

the best thing to do is to hold your nerves in all the situation and try not to make any foolish decision which can then result in loss of your money. Do not trade at time when the market is falling and try to stay cool and calm all the time.
Instead of making foolish mistakes, it would be much better to stay away cool and calm for waiting for much better opportunities. Usually I do look for buying points when market is falling down as I never care about short term fluctuations. Hence buying on downtrend must be a wise option instead of staying away.
936  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Shyness in gambling on: April 17, 2018, 02:12:37 PM
Yes I actually had that exact same feeling before, I felt so shy gambling in casinos and I would even look out if I know someone who’s playing too so they wouldn’t see me. But that feeling of shyness eventually fade away as I grew older especially when my aunt bring me to casinos with her whenever she flies back here in our country. But on gambling casino sites, at first I was afraid to gamble but after my first attempt I wasn’t shy at all and I was thinking no one knows its me not unless I announce it on the chat box.
I agree that you really would feel that if it's your first time or something. I think you become better with experience because the more exposed you are, you become less and less shy. Well it's very different when you are experienced versus when you are a first timer.
First time or whatever, the highest that would happen is to try to acclimatize yourself to the whole environment and since you probably may not have any friend around anyway, you may actually feel a little bit lonely but what the heck, everyone actually came to the casino to gambling and I would not even consider that as being shy.

The concern here is that most people do not actually understand what shy means, because if they do, they would know there is actually no reason for anyone to be shy in a casino unless they are just shy naturally and they do not do well with crowd.
937  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does positive thinking affect your edge in gambling on: April 17, 2018, 12:58:44 PM
Positive thinking has nothing to do if you win or not because its all about luck, if you are not lucky no matter how determine you are to win still nothing will happen. Sometimes experience and skills can help and somehow its an edge compared to newbies but it doesnt guarantee anything. Hence if you are not a risk taker and cant afford to lose your money better to stay away in gambling.
Exactly, this is not law of attraction where some would tell us that what you think is what you get attracted to, this is reality and it is absurd that so many people today do not like facing reality and they really need to grow up and wake up from their slumber. Positive thinking in gambling is what has led so many people to becoming addicts today and have lost everything just because they thought as long as they do not shift from positive to negative, they are good.

this gambling is all based on negative vibes so how can you even think of an angel in the house of devil? I hope from this one statement you get your answer so clearly.
How gambling is based one negative vibes ? You mean all gamblers are facing losses most of times so it is based on negative vibes ? When positive energy bring good things everywhere then why not with gambling ? Moreover we cannot say all the gamblers are facing only losses all the times.
938  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and investment - different discussion on: April 17, 2018, 12:18:13 PM
People are crazy about this game and the casinos are full all the time. A man can earn good amounts by becoming a shareholder of any famous casino.
One thing the casino owners and online gambling platform owners already know is that there is no way people can ever stop gambling and that is one way they will never just stop getting rich, as long as some people keep having the wrong mindset with respect to gambling. It is always a marketing strategy they use to entice those categories of people since they would not be making any money from their investment anyway if they don't.

People are crazy about this game and the casinos are full all the time. A man can earn good amounts by becoming a shareholder of any famous casino.
But becoming a shareholder is not a kind of opportunity which is available to everyone. But some famous online casinos offer such opportunity. But their earning rate also very low.
939  Economy / Economics / Re: The HODL strategy is not actual on: April 17, 2018, 11:00:07 AM
This morning I saw an article where a guy made a simple calculation through Google trends about HODL strategy, and it showed that call to HODL used less and less from February of 2018. Popularity of word Bitcoin and crypto currency is also falling down.
Is it not a normal thing to see people's interest dwindle a little bit in occasions like this? Psychologically since a lot of people got greedy, got FOMOlyzed and then believed that bitcoin is going to get to $1million overnight, the whole idea of HODL came into play and now they just cannot wait to break even and sell which I believe a lot of people are going to be doing and then the cycle will just continue that way until they come back joining FOMO again in the future.

HODL  is investor strategy form long therm, a trader  will trade if they already have profit.
If you differentiate investors and traders in terms how long they do hold their position then you sound right. But, we must remember both are into their action for the hunting of profits hence investors may buy and sell once (or multiple times but definitely in less frequency) whereas might do almost everyday. But, for both of them, holding will definitely work out.
940  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are the best/safe ways to buy bitcoins? on: April 17, 2018, 10:24:17 AM
There are lot of ways to buy bitcoin, like buy btc with other people although it takes a lot of risk you can also buy bitcoin in some convenience store that sells bitcoin of course you need your own wallet, there are some famous application to use as a wallet like coins.ph since i'm from the philippines a lot of people recommend it and another way is through exchange like bittrex and poloenix just be careful in your transaction sir.
It is all about doing research within your locality or country, to find out how you can get to buy bitcoin easily. It appears in most countries these days, except for those where there is a serious threat from the government on users of cryptocurrency, you will find some exchanges operational within the country where one can buy directly from fiat or over the counter method as well. P2P is still the easiest at least with localbitcoins, but one will just have to be careful who you are making transactions with.

coins.ph offers services only to few south east countries and unfortunately many people here like me are still awaiting similar services to our countries also. Hopefully when more exchanges start country specific ventures  then we may get much easier ways to buy bitcoins due to their heavy competitions among them.
