161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Satoshi Nakamoto? A New Journey and Candidate [Great Read for All] on: May 10, 2019, 05:36:12 AM
Let time will tell who Satoshi Nakamoto is. I think we cannot find who is he because he still moves in many places and doing his project with his friends.
I am sure that in one day, he will reveal himself to the public or at least, he will show that he still exists and alive in somewhere place.
We cannot force him to comes out of his place because we don't know where he lived.
I think he will continue to fix any problem related to the bitcoin project by secretly without anyone knows.

He may not reveal himself and other who knows him may reveal his identity in the future in case Satoshi is a group of people instead of just a single person.
No one is forcing him to come out, most people who are curious about him are trying to reveal who is he by doing some researches based on many things that may relate to him.

Much of the crypto enthusiasts are looking to expose the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto but have you every though about the consequences. There are peoples who might not actually love the concept for bitcoins and same goes with the one who invented bitcoins so there would also be some hater about him.

This is always better to keep his identity much enclosed because we really do not need to know it right? There is no need for us to go for it behind who it really is. There are chances when the one named "Satoshi" would himself come in front of the community when he really gets that old. Until then, the secret behind Satoshi Nakamoto is always a mystery even if there are a lot of predictions.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you interested in knowing the real Satoshi? on: May 09, 2019, 11:29:58 AM
Whos could he be? There is an interesting countdown going on the moment at a website. Is it a marketing stunt? Or would they unveil the real Satoshi? In my opinion, it is more like gaining some marketing popularity as their Twitter account has grown up quite massively.
Satoshi is not a person, a project called Bitcoin cannot be implemented by one person, so I am inclined to believe that this is a marketing ploy.
Well, we all know that there is no project that can really be implemented by one person, but the idea, it will be impossible for 2 people to come up with an idea at the same time, the person that came up with the idea must be the owner of the project, which I am sure satoshi is the person that had the idea.

Just like we have MacAfee, his product his MacAfee and his name is MacAfee, but only him cannot or did not work on the MacAfee project, so many people would have been in the team, but the Initiator is the one that people knows and recognize for the project, same way we recognizedsatoshi as the originator.
163  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Reach $100,000? on: May 09, 2019, 10:35:22 AM
If we look at the amount of bitcoin supply, then there is a possibility that bitcoin will reach 100k, but how many years does it take to bring bitcoin to the price of 100k that nobody knows.
It might not required years but it requires adoptions and acceptability.  If most of the big financial institutions will adopt bitcoin there is no way it will not grow to $100,000.the market is getting bigger and bigger daily and that is a great sign that bitcoin is closer to adoptions than before.
It is not about years, it could even take months, the adoption rate is what matters, we need more demands of bitcoin, and as the supply quantity closes up, the price of Bitcoin will become very expensive that it may even go far above that $100,000.

SO what we need to really hope for is that awareness continues to grow fast, so that adoption can be high, and not only awareness, we need very strong projects that will create the awareness of bitcoin through their products, I have seen people like amazon, Facebook, Nike, and many other big companies preparing to also embrace cryptocurrency, but we need companies like this to adopt cryptocurrency through bitcoin.
164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Happy accidents on: May 09, 2019, 09:47:29 AM
When I was new in cockfights gambling, I made a mistake that made me a lot of money at the time. If you know cockfight gambling, gamblers often throw bets using hand signals only. I made a bet but mixed up the amount. Instead of just hundreds, I signaled thousand. Luckily I made the right bet and imagine my surprise when they throw my winnings to me.
Cockfighting?? Is that supposed to be another type of gambling? I am sorry I am hearing about that for the first time and I will be so glad if I can get to know more, like what country plays that and how often do you guys do this, Do you make money from the gambling or  its just for fun? Am sorry I can be  too inquisitive.

I have personally had an interesting experience where I accidentally played a game, mine was in sport betting, I just can’t remember how I made that big mistake with my bet that day, I  felt my heart would jump out of my chest because the money involved was big, but I was lucky I won. It was a very happy day for me.
165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Outside risk: similarities between gambling and trading? on: May 09, 2019, 08:37:09 AM
I don't think that there is a lot of similarities between them. As gambling is purely based on luck, on the other hand, in trading experience, knowledge and technical skills count.
Gambling is never more risky than trading. I do not know so much about trading because that is not my field but I have friends that are into trading and I hear all they say about them, most of them live their daily lives in fear like they are scared of not losing their money.

It’s not the same thing with gambling. In gambling, we play with a relaxed mind because we play for fun. Aside those hungry desperate gamblers that put in all their money into gambling, gambling is a game of entertainment, with little or no risk at all. So it is a little bit confusing to me when gambling is been compared to trading. They are 2 different things entirely.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe in IEO BITTREX? on: May 09, 2019, 07:57:05 AM
I don’t believe In bittrex Platform
The hypes have died down and their ieos have flopped too
Let’s just leave bittrex to rest for now perhaps because it’s erroneous for investment
What have you seen that made you feel their IEO has been flopped, have you heard of scammers hijacking their IEO, because that is the major solution that IEO has brought to the market which I have not for once heard of any scam project ever registered so far.

The one that most people complain about on bittrex is the issue of their IEO not quickly meeting up which I do not see as an issue because it is not every time that investors will have the ability to bring out more funds for investment, as we don’t have new investors yet, the people participating are the ones that already has investment in other ICO projects and money is not what they pluck on the tree, that we expect investors to just be buying every projects that they see.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hardcap ICO is no guarantee that the project will succeed on: May 09, 2019, 07:18:59 AM
ICO is not a guarantee that the project will be successful, because most ICO projects are still limited to concepts and do not have clear references,
but projects that don't make ICO or premine are usually serious and good projects.
and I also agree on this, what about your opinion?

I think they didn't really hit the hardcap. There were several ICO projects that fabricated their raised money.
If they were hitting hardcap, many peoples should create the volume using their coin in the market, and the price wouldn't dropped too much.
The hardcap is not what they really need to make the project to happen, though that is what they make everyone believe, but I am sure the hardcap is just quoted for contingencies, few companies are the ones that are truthful about their hardcap quote, which they return funds back to the investors when they are not able to meet up.

Any company with very good product can make do with the softcap they quote; over estimations is what is shooting their price up to hardcap. Hardcap or no hardcap, the project product is what is the most integral aspect of a project; they can start will little on a big project and grow high on it.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is RarityTrade exchange legit ??? on: May 09, 2019, 06:44:10 AM
it will not develop and nothing will happen to it. do not waste your time studying such exchanges. you just waste your time
Well, can't agree more with this.
Although a lot of exchanges are already there, people seem to look for other exchanges that they can try with anything that they want.
It's safe to use the well known ones than the new ones and never heard of exchanges.
You should not forget that few years Binance was also an unknown exchange, but in few years this exchange became number 1 and now millions of people use it and consider it the most convenient. if you believed in Binance 2 years ago now you would be a millionaire. so it is not necessary to talk so sharply about the new exchanges
I know that fact but with the rise of many exchanges.
I don't think that most of the people now is likely to use those unknown exchanges.
Most especially that in these times, hacks do happen for exchanges that has weak security.
And the new ones are prone to it.

None of them is still perfect in fully protecting the investors against hackers when it comes to security issue, even Binance, recently , I read in the news where Binance made a statement about an hacker that succeeded in stealing about 7000 BTC from their account recently. SO if they have so much done all their possible best in securing their platform, how did the hacker still manage to bring down the almighty Binance?

So this should not be  a complete criteria to use in actually picking an exchange, majority of them are prone to hacking, including the big ones, we just have to secure our fund personally by not keeping funds on exchange wallets.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Communities on: May 09, 2019, 06:05:33 AM
The trust of traders in one of the exchanges is the convenience of making transactions. The site does not often cause problems or trouble, because it will make the traders saturated and upset. I often experience that. It would be more if the exchange uses Know Your Customer (KYC) because that would make it more sterile and not misused. Please correct my opinion.

We are a decentralized exchange, it is all about security and transparency! If we put KYC there will be the same security, but less privacy. If there is KYC that means having to disclose your activities to the authorities, or risk having your identity stolen.
Well, KYC is not bad to also add to the site but it should be made optional, and For a start, it will really not be a wise idea to start with KYC, as this may discourage a lot of people who would have trusted your service, since right now, we have so many users that detest KYC, so you can use that one to your own advantage first to gather the necessary volume before imposing the use of KYC.

That is why people will always refer to Binance as a very string exchange because they have all the strategy, what they did with their KYC was to have level for it, so the system accommodates those that does not want to do KYC but limits their operation, while it gives unlimited access to those with KYC.
170  Economy / Economics / Re: become rich by bitcoin. on: May 09, 2019, 05:29:28 AM
Success and being rich because of bitcoin, I think it is not a fraud, but the result of positive thinking that is able to achieve it. If you have a better strategy then it is an achievement that we have. If success in cheating means that they are indeed not worthy to become partners.
YO know everyone that hear about cryptocurrency only breaks It down in their mind based investment, but the system of cryptocurrency has gone beyond that and has made majority of people successful in their lives and business, I have a business I have been willing to grow internationally, and I have been limited to local sales because he only means of receiving international payment other than western union which is quite stress is paypal.

Paypal does not operate in my country but since I got to know about bitcoin, I have been able to increase my sales internationally which receiving money has been so easy for without having to pay any 3rd party and since then, I have been so successful in my business. So there are so many ways like this that bitcoin has brought success to the lives of people.
171  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC PRICE TO BE WORTH 1 BTC = 1 BTC on: May 08, 2019, 11:20:32 AM
I always dream of it, where everyone is not using fiat anymore and the price of BTC is BTC itself so there will be no more attack on Bitcoin price. This condition in my opinion can be reach only if people 100% believe in Bitcoin and no longer using fiat to buy or sell product and services. It can take a long time but It's highly possible in the future.
That will be a program of generations to generations or when artificial intelligence completely takes over the earth, or better still when these governments has been wiped out and we have just government that would believe in the use of technology alone for everything, otherwise, it may just be a wishful thinking.

The earth is filled with over 7 billion inhabitants, we still need to consider the global literacy rate necessary for the world to fully adopt and use cryptocurrency alone, it won’t be possible for us to from FIAT, and government may not support the idea of dropping fiat usage for cryptocurrency completely, they will overtime support the use of cryptocurrency, but will never abolish the law that created FIAT.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: IEO: Where should I buy? on: May 08, 2019, 10:32:38 AM
Exchanges with the best performing IEOs are Binance, Okex, Gate, Huobi and Bgogo to the best of my knowledge and you can choose from any of their upcoming campaigns. But that not withstanding, also do your own research on each project before making a buy
IEO is not like coins that we will advise people to buy the ones at the top in coinmarketcap, is not all top exchanges that are handling the issue of IEO very well to satisfaction, only Binance is the one that has satisfied people so far in this aspect, other ones are just doing try and error and getting the error in it.

People have complained about Bittrex, I have seen complains about Yobit IEO too and all are being verified, the worst is even smaller ones that are also coming up with IEO when the bigger ones has not succeeded in holding the ones in their capacity firm like the way Binance is doing.
173  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance traders are making more money than other traders on: May 08, 2019, 09:49:37 AM
I just published a study which explores how Binance traders are making more money than traders on other exchanges.

https://blog.shrimpy.io/blog/exchange-liquidity-a-comparative-study

I'm happy to answer any questions about the study.
LOL, like seriously do you expect me to read all that you have written there? Then clap for yourself. I'm not ready to read all that you have stuffed up there, you should just do a summary of everything and post it here in the forum, just edit your post here and we can easily get what you're trying.

I even clicked that link by mistake cause I don't like clicking links that I know nothing about in this forum. And I also don't believe that, all exchange are the same and no matter the one you're making use of, all that matters is your skills. If you lose, or win its the same thing.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FET & BINANCE Best of Scam ??? on: May 08, 2019, 09:07:27 AM
My friends and I invested more than 61btc in Fet.
I have sufficient evidence to prove this investment (I bought nearly 19btc FET).
But you see, the price keeps going down and cannot recover. We can blame the market, but the market is recovering well, we can blame the manipulation of the price but the action of the FET team is not acceptable.
- My friends and their families were very worried about their investment, they went to FET's tele group and asked Dev team and Marketing team about price, strategy but they received bad treatment, Their group forbids to talk about prices (like fascists) - anyone of my friend talked about the price they would give immediately, when the rest did not talk about the price they asked about the project, if asked too much Immediately will be banned.
My friends were very sad, they were sad because of the loss and sadness about the treatment of FETCH team - they are also investors, they need respect. FETCH may be the greatest project in the world but does not mean that it is allowed to disregard investors.

I encouraged my friends to wait for the fetch team and wait for their testnet program. But the wait and hope to get back in frustration .. their testnet is complete and not many people know, the market does not react to their event.

My friends continue to join the group and ask the team dev why they do such weak marketing, and they delete my friend immediately.
I do not believe in a project trusted by Binance and CZ that could act like that, I had a discussion with them about the project (not talking about the price) - I was a mentor to many startup so I asked very carefully what their project did. and when they didn't answer, they deleted me. Luckily, I recorded my talk video. You will see the project developers who do not understand the project, they only answer aggregate, according to what they write not what they do. They don't even have a plan for marketing and their work. (video I sent below).
After I was deleted, a lot of members were in my box, and we had a group of people who lost a lot and didn't dare say anything in FECTH's group. If you don't believe you can try their group and talk, just CLONE accounts to talk and PR (Seeding) for the project.
So what do they call the money from Private sales and IEO? Or Ieo is just a garbage dump so CZ and Binance help Scam teams to discharge shit?

All reviews please watch the video, thanks.

Wow, my heart skipped after I read your full article, at first I wanted to ignore it when I saw Binance because I am a diehard fan of Binance, but I had to keep sentiment aside to read it, and I am glad I did, this is an eye opener article, and I am sorry about what you and your friend has passed through, thank you for not keeping it to yourself for other to fall into same trap.

I have always trusted Binance with my life and I never believe that they could get themselves involve in such a messy scandal and I do hope that they come out openly to deny this or apologize, otherwise, things like this more could damage that reputation that has been speaking for them.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum transferring to another address automatically on: May 08, 2019, 08:28:32 AM
I've never heard of funds leaving wallets automatically and a matter of fact there is no such thing ,someone you trust or very close to you have access to your private key ,don't use the wallet anymore and if you have any fund left in there move it out to new wallet
Moving it out is now the issue, because according to his statement, when he tries transferring it using different address, the address he intend transferring it to keeps changing to another one, so this is not about his friend or relative doing this, a spamming tool has just successfully act into his account and probably controlling the account either directly or using the spam software on his account to do so.

The best would be for him to either format such wallet, change is private keys to a stronger one and finally apply some wallet extra security measure and see if the problem will be solver, otherwise, he may just have to will that account to the hacker.
176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Outside risk: similarities between gambling and trading? on: May 08, 2019, 07:51:00 AM
In my opinion, I would say that both gambling and trading are basically stochastic, they are unpredictable and both have a negative reputation that comes with it.  We all put in our honest effort to make it a little bit more predictable and that might reduce the dangers in it.

It however takes so much consistent and numerous exercises on the path of both gamblers and traders before it can become effective and  before the risk involved in both can be reduced. The greatest similarity between this two is Risk and unpredictability.

Yes, in this two-sector there is huge risk involved in it, one thing i want to clear is through trading even though we lost but the coin will remain with us, through gambling it is final one which we don't have any choice of making money in future, but the similarity is risk and unpredictability.
The closest similarity between both trading and gambling is the risk involved and another similarity is that both gamblers and traders are always impatient. Like you said, if traders can be patient, then they losses they can likely encounter in gambling would be minimized but then they wouldn’t and it is the same impatience that would make a gambler go into gambling without learning the dos and don’ts of the game.

If strong in the context means both having the ability to take risks, then I think it is very right because both gamblers and traders are very good with taking risk because it’s not easy to  play gambling or even trade.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEOs drop in value is no threat on: May 08, 2019, 07:07:35 AM
I read few posts today and people keep talking about IEO losing price well here is my own thought

1)IEO projects from popular exchanges are safe and not scam and thats what matters most

2)just because its IEO don't expect quick profits ,they tend to drop in price and that doesn't mean they won't recover at least

What IEO fix is 'getting scammed' and not always profits for investors, thats why I keep telling people not to rely on exchanges only ,just because an IEO is from popular exchange you still need to do research on the project yourself to at least understand what they are introducing
I also believe that the only solution that IEO has brought to the market is just to secure investors from the hands of scammer, but when it comes to dumping of coins, it will be the major problem that exchanges will face, probably in the next few months, just like scam became a trend for ICO, dumping will become trend for IEO and someone will come up with another solution again.

Investors are really going to be problems in this IEO business, everyone does not have the same intention, some basically have the mindset of investing in IEO and a soon at it hit exchange immediately, they go for the profit, these are the number of people we will see more in the IEO platforms.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question to Bitcoiners: What do you think about IEO? on: May 08, 2019, 06:28:56 AM
AltCoins are raising money using IEO or Initial Exchange Offering. It started out good, but since we have 100s of exchanges and all of them have started launching IEOs, it's starting to get messy like ICOs. What do you guys think?

Personally, I am a big supporter of crowd-funding as a source of startup capital as long as its done responsibly. I invest on Start Engine and Republic and I see crappy project on those platforms too. I just wish the Exchanges will do some due diligence before launching an IEO.

For now, i really do not trust the intention of IEO until time tells, i feel this idea was just created to take advantage of the market situation to professionally gather money from people, if not, why are the exchanges the ones gathering these funds on behalf of the developers.
You can’t really be sure of this, because the IEO idea came in the mid of ICO scam, rather than leaving the ICO market to die and lose investors which will affect the cryptocurrency market generally, someone had to come with the idea of protecting the interest of the investors, and created a system just like escrow.

So after they have promised to do due diligent on these exchanges, they have no choice than to collect the funds on their behalf, so that at least they can take responsibility and the investor can be sure that the money will be channeled to the right course, they might have their fees, but that would just be the little reward for their services.
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hardcap ICO is no guarantee that the project will succeed on: May 08, 2019, 05:55:56 AM
I also agree with you, there are some ICO that have reached hardcap but after list coin in market they have very cheap prices and their products are not released soon, I don't know that team works slowly or indeed they don't use well-collected funds
Some of their project were never really created to be carried out, they just bring up ICO, register it on exchange and abandoned the project, so that the investors can blame the loss of their fund on failed project or dumping, meanwhile they know what they were doing, they only pushed the product forward to get the attention of people to invest, and late divert their attention, while they are busy stuffing the money off their wallet into Fiat.

Right now, I am still interested in investing in the ICO market, but I am very careful with the new ones, I do thorough screening before daring to participate while I focus more on projects on the top 30 of the coinmarketcap for investment.

Op, you were really faster than me in making a decision to create a thread for this wonderful project, I didn’t get to participate in their bounty because I missed it but I invested heavily in this coin when I got the opportunity to do so after researching on the project.

I will say I lost my first investment to Binance because I panicked based on what my friend told me as to how dangerous it is to keep token on an exchange wallet, so in the process of transferring my MTC token to my ether wallet, I lost half of it, but I am so sure that when the bull run comes, I would be able to recover the lost token back.
