621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Choosing a Bounty Campaign? on: October 17, 2018, 09:07:31 AM
I would choose the bounty I am going to participates based firstly on the Manager either they have a high reputation on Bitcointalk or it is being handled by one of the new breed of community management or bounty management companies. My next criteria is the project itself and do I think the coin is going to retain a value post-ICO.

It is tough to reap a decent reward from Bounty campaigns right now the Bear market has made things difficult for everyone. Maybe you need to sit and wait on the coins you have earned for a decent reward.
Bounty does not really have to be the manager much for me, but sometimes, I have always liked joining some manager's bounty as they tend to verify whatever team they are actually managing their project just to be at least discard anything like scam that could end up spoiling their image.

However, most of the time, I just tend to prefer taking a look at the project itself, the rules of the bounty and then see which one would really be a great one after weighing my options, and in this case, I have always looked at the product and the team as well as the great idea and business solution that makes up the product.
622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it the best time to buy TRON? on: October 17, 2018, 08:07:52 AM
I think it's like that. I've already started buying parts. I'm waiting for a breakout from here.
TRON is actually not a bad idea at all for investment since they have some pretty good team and being a blockchain based operating system, it might have a pretty good prospect and potential for investors to take advantage of in the long run.

They also had a recent partnership with Baidu which is one of the leading internet search engines in China and considered the Google of China, and I believe this shows a team that is working to make their product really come to life as the case may be. However, everyone should always be able to check full details into what they are investing in by doing due diligence and not by asking on a public forum.
623  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETh will hit $1000 end of this year on: October 16, 2018, 12:46:33 PM
End of 2018 Eth will be back over $1000 and bitcoin will be over $15000
i think that's to much progress mate until year end especially when it comes ETH because  eth nowadays are very low, which is there is a possibility only unless if whales manipulate  the price rapidly back to the estimated margin for the year end. And by the way for me in my personal opinion  it's very  late now honestly to reach that prediction which is probably $400 for ETH is enough and $9000 for bitcoin before year end like what other predictions as well.
Nothing is too much progress, it is a market and nothing is impossible with a market most especially when it is a volatile one. I guess from what you have seen with the movement of bitcoin upward for some reasons best known to the market, I would say it is something that shows in a great deal that no one can actually tell what the market holds for the future and the chances of the market increasing rapidly is always going to be there. However, Ethereum is going to be moving, will be best known with time actually and that depends on a lot of things fundamentally as well.
624  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How can get information of pump coins? on: October 16, 2018, 12:09:05 PM
sometimes I think that on average all Crypto Altcoin prices on the market will go up and down in the next few hours, you better choose the top 10 coins in coinmarketcap to get good coins that are suitable for short-term trading,
Unless for someone who wants to join pump groups with some of them available on telegram but for those who are wise, it is best to stay away. If you cannot trade, hold. If you want to trade, go and learn.

Those who own these groups are up to no good as what they are after are usually gullible people like the OP looking for shortcuts to everything as well as getting rich pretty fast, and what you are doing actually is allowing someone else to feed on you while you are trying to play with luck. Learn, as that is the only way you can get to do well in the long run.
625  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: $100 price difference between exchanges ... on: October 16, 2018, 11:19:23 AM
Unreal, about $800 difference now https://coinalyze.net/
The mistake you are actually making is to compare BTC-USDT pair with BTC-USD pair. It is always a possibility that two different exchanges will have two different prices as they are both two different platforms and this is how some people do arbitrage trading, as you can read more on that if you have no idea what that means.

The reason you are seeing such a huge gap is because one is a USD pair and the other is a USDT pair. On bittrex alone where the both markets are inexistence, there is always that huge gap between BTC/USD and BTC/USDT pair. I really do not know why but that is just the case.
626  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin (BTC) Daily Price Forecast – October 11 on: October 16, 2018, 10:41:28 AM
Today, the bulls have succumbed to the bearish pressure.

Dow Jones has fallen. I'm surprised that Bitcoin dropped after Dow and not before.
Now I think that all we have to do is look at the market. Bitcoin may not recover if the stock market didn't....

At least now its getting clearer as to why the price plummet last October 10/11, 2018. Its because of the Dow crashing that affected other stock market as well in Asia and in Europe and has the domino effect in crypto as well.

But the dust have settled already and everyone has bounce back a bit including crypto market. So there's no bearish pressure after all, it was a result of the global market meltdown that trickled to crypto as well. So we can conclude that indeed there's some correlation of sort between stocks and crypto market.
I am actually getting to hear that news at the moment. I never imagined there could be some external effect of Dow Jones on the crypto market as well. Dow index at the moment is pretty much showing a good sign of recovery, so if this is actually true, then, let's assume there could be a possibility for some market growth before the end of the year.

Nonetheless, I am still of the opinion that the crypto market was plainly over bought and was due for correction and nothing else, and it is that correction we have had already now and possibly, some probability that we could at least recover from here.
627  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin reach $100,000 in two years? Bitcoin statistics and predictions on: October 13, 2018, 12:05:39 PM
In the beginning Bitcoin was only an idea. With a value of a fraction of a U.S. penny. This was in 2009.

Then in 2012 bitcoin gained popularity on the internet and gained its first publicized value of $13.28.

This was the first recorded value of Bitcoin. Now let’s see how Bitcoin progressed over the years…

2009 — $.0003

2013 — $13.28 44266.67X gain in 4 years

2014 — $770.52 58X gain in one year

2015 — $315.42

2016 — $435.82

2017 — $959.15 1.24X gain in 3 years

2018 — $6355.70 6.63X gain in one year

2019 — $? 10k, 20k, 30k, 40k, 50k

2020 — $? 60k, 70k, 80k, 90k, 100k

With these mathematical statistics it is sure enough that Bitcoin will be rising to the 100k mark within the next couple of years.
Things doesn’t work just like that. It might be different this time. If it happens to reach $100k within two years, then be sure to expect it fall heavily after that just like it did now.

But the way I’m seeing it now, I don’t think it’s ever going to reach that amount within just a time of two years, nope that’s not going to happen. But what do I know? The whales are the ones who control this market and they determine what’s going to be the price at anytime, and whenever they decide to push heavy amount of money into it, then you will see the price rising to that amount.
628  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin global regulation on: October 13, 2018, 11:26:37 AM
global bitcoin this regulation seems indispensable for bitcoin circulation of some countries to be used for transactions and can be used to be legal tender and can be used for all payment platforms.
If this is the case, i think the cryptocurrency do not need such regulations. Or somewhat the bitcoin can move on its own, but the thing here is, the people consider much when they seen it legal, they are somewhat conscious to what is going on. Therefore we can say that having global regulation maybe good but somewhat bad.
When I got into this newly, people said the reason they use Bitcoin, which is the also the reason why it was made, was for them to have freedom from the government controlling their money. So if that’s really the purpose, why then are we looking for regulation? You know what’s likely to happen if the government get into this so I’m not support of it.

And by the way, we don’t need much people in this, only those who are interested to make use of Bitcoin should be here. I have also noticed that newbies are coming here with the intention of making money and not for the purpose of using bitcoin. I no longer see people that loves Bitcoin, all I see is greedy people who come here cause they think this is a money farm’.
629  Other / Archival / Re: Litecoin's future? on: October 13, 2018, 10:47:53 AM
Litecoin was regarded as silver to Bitcoin. However, its performance is much worse than Bitcoin.
What's your view on Litecoin's future? Will it catch up or continue to underperform?
Litecoin is just another altcoin, but one thing with performance is that it cuts across board for most altcoins and you cannot be comparing litecoin with bitcoin. First and foremost, Litecoin is just a mere clone of bitcoin and as far as I am concerned, it is in the shadows of bitcoin.

What is ahead in its future is something I would expect time to determine as no one can know, but without real life usage and bitcoin actually hitting a huge growth in the long run based on adoption and usage, that would really affect litecoin, but like I said, it is best to leave time to tell.
630  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are you tired of centralized cryptocurrency trading platforms? on: October 13, 2018, 10:10:10 AM
In my opinion, this is a very good idea,
What is a very good idea, seeing decentralized exchanges replace centralized exchanges? No one is saying it is not a good idea, but from what we have seen so far, does most decentralized exchanges actually have what it takes for regular users to be able to trade, when it comes to fast transactions or trade, when compared to centralized exchanges, when it comes to liquidity and when it comes to usability.

I believe if the usability aspect of decentralized exchange is solved, and they can at least go in par with the centralized exchange platform, a lot of users would prefer it and sure the liquidity aspect would be solved, but we definitely do not have that yet.
631  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The next bitcoin halving in 2019 may be the next bull run on: October 13, 2018, 09:24:24 AM
The next bull run I guess, if it does not happen this year, will be the bitcoin halving next year. What do you think? Does this makes sense that movement of price may trigger before or after the bitcoin halving?
Halving in is 2020 right? I would say that its probably one catalyst that will bring the market to a bull run, that is if its past halving is a indication. From what I read, it took months after the halving to see some significant gains though. So we might have to wait for a bit longer if indeed this event could trigger the market to go and hit another all-time-high, so it remains to be seen.
Yeah it is! It has actually always been a catalyst right from time as we get to see the market move up pretty fast before the halving, but all the same, like you said, we just have to be patient for it as the case may be.

Nothing is guaranteed and it is a space that will always be unpredictable but technically, I believe most people would want to get in as halving reduces the block reward and at that point in time, the value also is bound to increase. However things end up working out anyway, we are still here and which is the reason why we should be taking advantage of now to accumulate for the future.
632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Robotina? RoxN Roll? what is future? 1 $ possible? on: October 13, 2018, 08:29:21 AM
what you think about robotina? ROX tokens, will 1 $ in december?

i sell my 124 000 ROX in august :/ 6.14 ETH - now 124 000 ROX is 24 ETH Cheesy Sad
haw you think i want buy now?

No one can actually tell you exactly what would happen to ROX before the end of December as we cannot see the future and how far it goes can only be known with time. However, it is a good project that has a very solid team as well as some product which is being developed gradually, so the possibility of seeing a huge rise in the future may still be there.

However, you have to understand that this is just something that no one can actually tell you how things would turn out in the short term. If the whole market should go bullish anyway, we may likely see a chance on a bull run for this one as well.
633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Questions about launching a new ICO on: October 13, 2018, 07:56:39 AM
Before starting a business venture ICO or otherwise it is important to know what it is you're getting into as you don't want to get into something like not knowing the risks involved and taking the necessary steps required to make this work as there is a lot of challenges regarding this.
That is something that I believe every team should have at least try as much as possible to get familiar with before even starting an ICO. How will they even thrive when little things like this are lacking and an ICO team does not know what to do to get things rolling? The most important thing is to patent their idea, but at least idea these days are recycled anyway, so one way or the other is to differentiate how you stand out from the general space, have a product, have a website, and then you can decide to pitch your idea to potential investors who see the future in what you want them to invest in which this forum is always a good start to announce that.
634  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The advantage of day trader on: October 13, 2018, 07:10:38 AM
Yeah I think the advantage is that you can get profits quickly and maybe you can get it every day, even though the benefits you get are small, because you have to make the best use from the margin price, but the risk will be far greater than holding it right?
Depends on the current market situation. if its a bull market yes you can earn profits quickly but in bear markets like what we are experiencing now, its hard to be a day trader. You have to chose carefully or else you will end up shifting from day trading to long term hodling. for day traders, setting an achievable goal is important. Setting a 10% profit in a day might not be a good idea.
Absolutely right. Actually bull markets are always very easy to day trade since you know the chances of the market moving up is far more than it moving down anyway and you are trying to take advantage of the fluctuations in between all those movements compared to bear market but at the same time, if you are leveraging, bear markets too can be very profitable to day trade, since you can short the market. The best way to be able to deal with day trade and be able to do right is to understand the long term trend of the market and take advantage of that.
635  Economy / Economics / Re: What would happen if another cryptocurrency took Bitcoins place in Market Cap? on: October 13, 2018, 06:19:56 AM
So what do you think would happen if another Cryptocurrency (Example Monero / Ethereum etc) were to take Bitcoins spot as first in market cap?

I don’t think that another coins would replace bitcoin because it is impossible for them to reach the price that bitcoin had reached.
Well there is nothing out there in the crypto market that is impossible. The revival of ETH can again pose a threat to the Bitcoin in long run like it did few months ago.

This is just because of the pace with which ETH was growing. Right now, I do not see any other coin so advanced to reach Bitcoin any time sooner except ETH again and Litecoin. Because these altcoin have gotten great potential in long run and we might see them growing high like Bitcoin. However it will take long time.
636  Economy / Economics / Re: Which Asian countries have the greatest influence on bitcoin? on: October 13, 2018, 05:47:37 AM
Asian China and Japan have the biggest impact on cryptocurrencies!
There are many users of cryptocurrencies in China, but the Chinese government does not have too many cryptocurrencies!
The Japanese government actively embraces cryptocurrencies and encourages the study of cryptocurrencies!
right, Japan is a pioneer country for cryptocurrency, and bitcoin comes from that country. the latest news that i read now is that Thailand has begun to introduce cryptocurrency to its citizens
Though the people of both countries have been trading in cryptocurrency, China has recently started banning some of the exchanges and this has lead to reduction in the usage of crypto up to some extent.

There are people who invest a lot in crypto in India but even the Indian government has not accepted the cryptocurrency so far and I do not think they have a reason to recognize it for it has been uncertain for long and they do not feel the need to digitalize the economy any soon which is why they have banned it.
637  Economy / Economics / Re: Five reasons 2018 could be the best year yet for cryptocurrencies. on: October 11, 2018, 11:43:58 AM
Unfortunately last year was much better but not yet over so no need to panic, there is still a huge chance that the year ended with the growth of the price of the cryptocurrency !

Right, if the first half of this year was the time of the deepest bloodbath, the second part of 2018 has turned into a period of the longest cryptos stagnation.
Well, see it as you may want to see it but in the actual sense, not everything about the market is all about the price only. Have you taken your time to consider the development we have seen in the cryptocurrency space so far? Have you taken your time to read the news to see how countries are really beginning to see how they can adopt it? Are you seeing how banks and government are really trying not to be left out? Are you also seeing the same people who have been attacking the crypto space, investing hugely into the space based on creating tools for the cryptocurrency space? All these things are gearing up for mainstream adoption and those who are smart will see this moment as an opportunity to accumulate.
638  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Litecoin (LTC) Long Term Price Forecast on: October 11, 2018, 10:27:11 AM
LTC/USD Long-term Trend: Ranging

Resistance Levels: $60, $70, $80
Support levels: $50, $40, $30

The LTCUSD pair had been in a range bound movement in the month of September 2018. It has an opening balance of $62.07 but closed with a balance of $60.39 as at the end of the month. The digital currency fluctuates between the levels of $50 and $65.

As a trader, you can make partial profits as the digital currency ranges between the range bound zone. You can initiate a long trade at the lower level of price range and exit at the upper level of price range and Price is currently fluctuating at the lower level of price range and it is expected at the upper price level. Meanwhile, the price of Litecoin is below the 12-day EMA and 26-day EMA which indicates that the bearish trend is ongoing.

Meanwhile, the Relative Strength Index period 14 is level 38 which indicates that the market is oversold signaling bears’ exhaustion and suggesting bulls to take control of the market.
Well, it looks like he is actually looking at it from the perspective of a short term trader actually, which I certainly believe that with all things working out as expected in this market before the end of the year, and if bitcoin manages to leave that foot print to break out upward, the chances of actually seeing LTC go huge before the end of the year is there.

There are lots of resistances above us, but nothing is too much when the demand starts skyrocketing. We all know how this space can be so fast at breaking resistances, when it comes to the market making some bullish moves.
639  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade on: October 11, 2018, 09:52:49 AM
Day trading strategy is looking good now, at least for me, just be careful of some fake breakouts and analyze the market carefully to avoid loss.
It is actually looking good because the condition of the market is favorable for day trading, but what is important right now is to at least, try as much as possible to know how to do your thing, but irrespective of the condition, a time may come when you will easily get lost and lose everything.

For instance, the market generally has been moving sideways and most of the altcoins are also trying to gear up to at least, make some move to an uptrend, but however things end up turning out, we will get to know in a short term but for those who want to be taking advantage of those short term fluctuations during consolidation of most especially the likes of bitcoin, litecoin and Ethereum, this is a good opportunity.
640  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daily trade Vs long trade on: October 11, 2018, 08:01:39 AM
I am a newbie of trading so i don't have proper knowledge about trading. But honestly i want to be a trader. But first time which trading is best for me daily or long term?
Thanks in advance.
Trading is a whole lot and you should really be getting that into your skull immediately and this that you are asking is what you should even be asking last. Find resources, learn first as much as you can and then find out how you can do things better.

Trading is a profession and if you do not see it as a profession, it would be very hard for you to even understand that you have to learn a lot and practice before you can even start calling yourself a trader. After learning and practicing, either you want to become a day trader, a short term, midterm or long term trader, the choice is left for you to make based on what you are convenient with but you will never know until you learn.
