Best way to invest is to hold your coin. None of these other investment programs will deliver on their promises.

Sell when it goes up. Buy when it goes back down.

Has it been confirmed that it was closed for good? or just speculation?

1725  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why is reddit so popular? on: December 14, 2014, 02:06:01 AM
The quality of comments on the site has decreased into a clusterfuck of mostly retarded comments and puns over the past couple years but don't really see why the interface is bad?

Easy way to aggregate sites/information and split it up into different subforums.
1726  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] BTC Address Created in 2012 on: December 14, 2014, 02:03:03 AM
What's the point of having an old address? Don't see any novelty.

Not worth the risk

i really think that the dispensories would be well served by getting into crypto. It will help alleviate the hostile banking environment perpetuated by the federal regulators.  It is very dangerous for them to carry around / have on hand that much cash.

Wouldn't that cause problems with a whole different set of regulations?
1729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Any other site accepting CLAM? on: December 14, 2014, 01:47:20 AM
The only exchange that deals with CLAM that I've seen is poloniex

not sure about gambling sites
1730  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to store your Bitcoin in a safe way? on: December 13, 2014, 01:44:22 AM
There is no need for all those. Use a paper wallet and it will remain safe.

Paper wallet is a good solution.

Coinbase makes it easy to create one.
1731  Economy / Services / Re: Pay me in BTC to find you cheap airline tickets [Travel agent] on: December 13, 2014, 01:43:27 AM
Pretty sure the extent of his travel agency experience will be entering your destinations into kayak.com
1732  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sports Betting on: December 13, 2014, 01:42:25 AM
These pay for pick systems are so ridiculous. If you were so consistently right all the time, why would you need subscription fees from other people?

There are plenty of people giving free picks that hit at higher percentages than your system.

Pay for picks isn't ridiculous, but this definitely looks ridiculous. Op, do you plan to even post a pic before charging?

It is ridiculous because it has been shown that only a handful of people in the entire world can consistently bank positive units years on end through sports betting.  Anyone on these forums or anywhere else promising winning picks for $5-$500 per week/month or whatever is full of shit. That's why paying for picks and giving validation to their scheme is ridiculous.

i forwarded this site and part of it to the feds email so i hope they look into

Pretty sure the feds are well aware of this site's existence.

What part did you specifically have an issue with?
1734  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A lot of hostility on: December 13, 2014, 12:47:54 AM
A lot of hostility aka a lot of uneducated people making stupid jokes.

Shows how far Bitcoin still has to grow and how much it needs to educate people, so that it can become more mainstream.
1735  Economy / Gambling / Re: Whats the best thing about Gambling? on: December 13, 2014, 12:45:23 AM
Playing a game for money/prize has always given me incentive.

The fun for me doesn't come from getting rich but from beating the casino or other people (poker).
1736  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do islam hates people? on: December 13, 2014, 12:43:54 AM
Easy to pick out pieces from every religion and scrutinize where it can be interpreted as violent.

None of these religions inherently hate people. Certain people use it manipulate other educated people for their own personal/evil intent.
1737  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] (Staff Only) Earn Bitcoins Simply By Posting on: December 13, 2014, 12:40:52 AM
Stop considering 'Off-topic' part of the forum as the "Spammers club". It is simply a place made for everything that is not related to Bitcoin/Altcoin/Forums.
This does include 'useless threads', but it doesn't mean that they are the only ones in it.

Agreed. I hate the assumption that everything posted in off-topic is considered junk. Some of threads I enjoy reading most and participating in are from that section.
1738  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Game for Android? on: December 13, 2014, 12:33:43 AM
Haven't see any worthwhile Bitcoin games for Android.

If there was a poker game with Bitcoin for Android, that would be amazing.
