1602  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Any Recommended BTC Sales Services? on: January 07, 2015, 10:32:17 PM
Have you tried coin.mx?

Pretty sure they allow use of credit cards up to a certain limit.

Chase Quickpay is easily reversible

Please use caution when making deals with this brand new user
1604  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitbook.ie sportsbook is Scam !!! on: January 07, 2015, 09:21:53 AM
Today, I receive payout and answered e-mail.
In e-mail write:
Apologies for the delay! I was traveling.

I belive that payout make after I write post on this forum, but off course I not be sure.
I will continue bet with small amount.
I will write post about future payouts.

Payouts are manual then I guess. I would agree that betting small amounts would be safest
1605  Other / Meta / Re: Default Trust - Why Does Anyone Even Care Anymore? on: January 07, 2015, 09:15:42 AM
Maybe if you were more involved in trades and marketplace DefaultTrust would be more important to you. If you are here for just Bitcoin discussion, then it doesn't really matter.

1606  Other / Off-topic / Re: New coin - Fapcoin - new/innovative on: January 07, 2015, 06:31:00 AM
Question is, if I were to make this, would anyone actually mine it? Can you let me know what your thoughts are?

Any suggestions on how to make it better besides what I've proposed so that you'll actually mine it?

It's completely different than what anyone else has created and I think it's a nice alternative. It's not just a dumb gimmick.

I want to get people to actually give a shit before I go into development, not waste my time like the other 100+ people who've made coins and failed.

Thanks

Proof of spank  Grin Too good

But yes, I'm sure you would get some people to mine it.

Wouldn't the value of coins in the wallet be able to be abused by using bots?
1607  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My life is fucked! Bought 5 BTC and lost all! God punish me. on: January 07, 2015, 06:24:29 AM
Haha. Why people think gamble will make you life easy? Do you think casino open to give money to people?

Natural greed to get rich quick without much effort. If you aren't gambling for pure entertainment, you are doing it wrong.

A few people do win at the casino. A majority lose . Gotta play the odds
1608  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Child kidnapping by the Norwegian State on: January 07, 2015, 06:21:51 AM
A case from May last year, when 3 Russian girls (aged 13, 5 and 3) were taken right from their home and their parents, without even checking the allegations. I didn't know about that one either!

http://www.barnefjern.org/norways-removal-of-children-from-russian-mother-illegal-astakhov/

Quote
The couple was stripped of their parental rights after one of the daughters` friends had said that the girls were physically abused at home. Social workers arrived at the family’s place and took the children away without even making an attempt to collect more evidence on the allegations. The girls were temporarily placed in an adoptive family, though the younger sisters do not speak Norwegian.

...

In violation of the presumption of innocence principle, Tatiana and her husband were told to collect enough evidence by May 28 to prove that they were not physically abusing their children. Russia’s Children’s Rights Ombudsman Pavel Astakhov: “The parents were told that they would no longer see their children because of physical abuse allegations. We`ve been collecting evidence to prove that these allegations are ungrounded and that the children were not abused.”

Wow what kind of system is this? Guilty until proven innocent? That is some scary shit for parents

I feel like here in the US the kid would have to have noticeable bruises or some kind of trauma for child protective services to get involved.
1609  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think 1.00 BTC will worth more than $10,000.00 USD at any time in 2015? on: January 07, 2015, 05:52:27 AM
Can't see anyway that 1 btc will be worth that much by 2015, it's probably going to take years before we even reach the start of mass adoption. I'd be happy if we reach $1000 by 2015.

That's quite right. I think it will reach 1500$ in 2015 and in 2017 the 10,000$.

That's pretty optimistic but hopefully true. Here's to hoping for the next bubble  Grin
1610  Economy / Gambling / Re: DirectBet – LIVE Sportsbook & Racebook. Rated # 1 by Bitcointalk Members ! on: January 07, 2015, 05:00:11 AM
I can see those games are listed as "negotiate" since they've started but the Canucks/Islanders game isn't even listed.

Live bets for this game are available here.

That's great but the score is now 3-1  Undecided missed the value. Also the games stay on negotiate almost all the way through
1611  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Cop shoots dead a tased, restrained, 100lb teen: "we don't have time for this" on: January 07, 2015, 04:50:24 AM
Article is a bit editorialized and appealing to emotions (why does it matter if his birthday was last month?) but if the information presented is how it went down; that is pretty fucked up. There has been a string of situations lately where law enforcement will shoot dead people with mental disorders because they don't understand what is going on. There needs to be additional training to recognize and deal with those who have episodes such as this.
1612  Economy / Goods / Re: Bitcoin Candy Shop! on: January 07, 2015, 04:01:03 AM
Oh man. Birch beer is so good. Haven't seen it since I lived on the east coast.

Don't see too much candy though. Was expecting a larger variety.
1613  Economy / Gambling / Re: == OFFICIAL 2014 BITCOIN GAMBLING AWARDS == Vote for your favorite website! on: January 07, 2015, 03:55:57 AM
We at DirectBet would like to thank you for voting us The # 1 Bitcoin Sports Betting Site of 2014.

Going forward, we will continue to work hard, innovate and set new standards in Bitcoin Sports Betting.

DirectBet

Why are you declaring yourself the winner when the OP hasn't made it official? You are even posting that you won in other threads. There's been alot of support to have you banned from the contest for using shill accounts.

How about you and basketsrus be thrown out of the gambling section for being shills yourself? All your posts are shit bashing
1614  Economy / Gambling / Re: DirectBet – LIVE Sportsbook & Racebook. Rated # 1 by Bitcointalk Members ! on: January 07, 2015, 03:53:23 AM
Yea sometimes the odds on some matches are a bit skewed.

No Canucks/Islanders match to livebet on tonight? Seems to be the only NHL match missing
r u blind? They list 6 games but no lines. Shit book doesn't have odds on any games in the NHL now.

What do you mean am I blind?

I can see those games are listed as "negotiate" since they've started but the Canucks/Islanders game isn't even listed.
1615  Other / Meta / Re: How to remove default trust? on: January 07, 2015, 03:51:19 AM
Sadly the default trust system provided by these forums. Is a joke
So I'd like to see it gone from my view, I'm sick of seeing Red, from one specific person, over and over again.

I went to setting and deleted "default trust" there's no one in that list, but I still see red?

Prefix a user's name with a tilde (~) if you want to exclude them from your trust network.

Why does that swimsuit look like it's straight from the '80s?
1617  Other / Off-topic / Re: Name this company! on: January 07, 2015, 03:44:12 AM
I never heard of this company either but the idea is kind of shitty. All it would take is a small online community (take slickdeals for example) to tell everyone how to take advantage of the rebate, and they would be finished.

Quote
The company filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on 16 May 2001, citing $83.3 million in liabilities against $24.5 million in assets.[3] Approximately $80 million was due directly to customers in unpaid rebates.

80 million in debt. Not a great profits model  Grin

They should have given a healthy discount for the products instead of 100% rebate.
1618  Other / Off-topic / Re: Places you want to travel to before you die on: January 07, 2015, 03:38:54 AM
New Zealand, Montreal, Istanbul, Barcelona, Cyprus, Dubai, Tokyo, Costa Rica

There are many places I want to see (and so many foods to try) before I'm gone from this Earth  Grin
1619  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people hate islam? on: January 07, 2015, 03:35:49 AM
Stories like the one about the father, brother and a couple other men killing the daughter because she went outside unaccompanied doesn't help much.

Isn't that more about fucked up culture?

Do you see American Muslims do those honor killings?
1620  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: honest ponzi 50% profits in hrs SEEKING ESCROW on: January 07, 2015, 03:30:16 AM
The site is gone now, so is OP. I hope no one was dumb enough to deposit their bitcoin in it.

well he even made a sig campaign for it, the payment was 0.02 in 24 hours what was also suspicious though

The ponzi sig campaign doesn't pay out as well. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=913601.msg10047537#msg10047537

If anyone was dumb enough to deposit, it will give him incentive to create another free site to do the same thing.

I wish moderators would automatically throw all ponzi threads into the trash bin. They don't benefit the community and they aren't really a gamble. They are a straight scam
