Very nice coin.
That has convinced me

No way! That site is FKD up! If you think for one second that a Dinky Di Aussie created that site. Your definitely not from the wide brown land!
There is still no evidence that the coin was not created by an Australian... But with the developers going awol, it might just be that this is another failed coin...but hey...that comes with the territory. 50B coins is too many. The best hope for the moment, barring some news, is to list on an exchange where they trade in mBTC. Coinedup has that facility. Are there any others?

, before coins started to be 95% trade and 5% what is really important.
What in your opinion is "really important"? Thanks

I only have one concern with DRK. The only real problem DRK might run into is regulators....and the name Darkcoin is like a red rag to a bull

So..can other coins implement Darksend the way they have implemented Dark Gravity Well and X11?

We pushed an update to the system that audits balances. It was meant to be done in the background but an issue arose that required us to halt trading and withdrawals until finished.
Nothing to worry about
So....the update caused balances to be too high in some accounts and negative in others? I'm sure that is a possibility but it would be good if someone could just confirm this. At the moment it has the appearance of...."its just an update, nothing to worry about" But naturally that might make people ask about the wrong balances.

Stop spreading FUD, everything will be ok, this is not a gox or coinex. Negative balance thing happened before (about a year ago), and all was sorted out to normal.
I just posted facts. Cryptsy has made no statement to calm peoples fears. If Cryptsy did that that would be the best solution

Okay the title is just to get your attention. I have no belief they are the new Mt. Gox, however I don't think they chose the best time of day to update their system. I'm missing conis and have quad druppel of others while the market is frozen and the only thing going on over there is question after question in the troll box...
How are you coping without being able to trade?
they did not choose to "update their system". I was online when it happened. the first thing that happened was that some estimated balances and balances I think, started changing. Something went wrong somewhere. this is the first thing I noticed Then they started an "audit". i asked one of the chatbox admins if there had been any large unusual withdrawals, and he said "no". But many people there are complaining of "negative balances". So hopefully it's just an internal thing that can be sorted

Sorry about that, yes that is the biggest news from the meeting, though not all of it. The rest is not set in stone, so did not want to release that just yet. Hopefully soon. Thank you for your patience.
No problem. good luck

Update: A meeting will be happening tomorrow with all of the team. Business plan will be adjusted, and a schedule will be set for implementation of each segment going forward. I will post an update as soon as I can tomorrow after the meeting, with full details. Thank you for your patience!
Ok...so the meeting happened. Did you post an update with full details yet? Or was the update delayed....? I saw this update.... https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=559534.msg6231512#msg6231512 was that the one you were intending?

Is LIME on Coinmarketcap? I couldn't see it there.

First off, I seriously doubt you are in Iceland. I find it simply amazing that all of the Auroracoin devs and "supporters" seem to speak American English perfectly, right down to the proper slang use. Were you referring to that post. I know Americans think they own everything but there was nothing particularly "American" in that post. And yes..I'm fully aware that Americans invented the English language...and they've probably protected by Copyright now too.

Did any Icelanders receive the AirDrop? Some did. But unless you believe 10% of an entire nation is suddenly aware of crypto currency, there is some amount of foul play going on. True...there is a constant supply of AUR....as many as you want (if anyone wants to buy a lot...you can do it right now ). It hardly makes sense that so many icelanders are downloading wallets and selling out 31 AUR for a piddling amount. There appears to be a big supply, though I could be wrong as things always look worst at the bottom....Thing is there is no indication we have found a bottom. Still... I'm going to buy some soon-ish ....as it is getting to be a good risk reward play IMHO

Just came across this: aurmarket.is
Nice to see some infrastructure rolling out.
Yes, great to see, though for the moment it's probably putting downward pressure on the AUR price. But , that will end....sometime
|
|
|
.Yes ! Clearly coinkite.com is the answer to combat the price from dropping. Forget Cryptsy & Bter...we need coinkite LoL Well the evidence is that it had a dramatic effect on the Blackcoin price. So I'd prefer to at least have some evidence to support my theory, and as we AUR has already been accepted, it seems reasonable to me that it is an option to consider. If you have better ideas, maybe you can outline them and provide supporting evidence.
|
|
|
But I think some icelanders claimed other people's coin. This would not surprise me. There is a seemingly endless supply of AUR being dribbled into the market, at prices that are probably marginal for an individual to go to the trouble of selling them
