Enough Said about chaeplin
Chaeplin is the only person who seems to have done any real work testing this product for the developer. He is the only one who spent a lot of time posting a lot of info in the thread So now we abuse him and also ask that he test the product. Wake up please!!! Is anyone else here going to do what Chaeplin is doing for the sake of maybe winning a lousy 100 XC? We should be thanking him!!! come on dude... You can't be serious. I'm very serious. And I'm a XC holder. His intention is to make XC look bad, not to help you solve your problem . You don't know his intentions. Secondly he has been a help to me understanding this coin. If i want to buy a coin I want to know what the potential problems are. And I don't see why XC and darkcoin can't co-exist Me either But intentional slandering of each other can hurt both coin.
Where has Chaeplin slandered anyone? Yet you yourself have just accused him of bad intentions , yet you can't know his intentions.

No news?
I think we can safely assume we've been abandoned by these muppets who are probably running half a dozen other coins now. Price is spiking again.

Thank you Chaeplin
You're welcome. I can send you some XC as well, if I have your address

What determines the order of coins on the Index?

I'm the QuazarCoin dev, I'm working and there are people who helps me with promotion and merchants.
What is happening promotion and merchant wise?

At least they auction them in bulks, one can hope that big whales pig them up and stash them away, it would be nasty if they just dumped all of them on the exchanges.
Better if an genuine investment fund bought them and made it public. This would be fantastic for BTC

Hopefully an investment fund will step up and take them (at a premium )

Price is very stable between 115-140 last days.. what do you think, when we will see a big rising?
It might be good if it doesn't happen immediately There is a theory that .. the bigger the base, the higher in space.. We just had a period when more people wanted to buy than sell. then a fall where more people wanted to sell than buy. Now we may have seen a bottom at 80. Now, maybe , buyers are accumulating. http://shookrun.com/ta/tageneral.htmAssumption 3 therefore states: Usually, movements in the market tend to have a relationship to each other - "the bigger the base, the higher in space; the bigger the top, the bigger the drop; and the bigger the drop, the longer the need for repair".
|
|
|
Probably in the next couple days when the new release comes out I hope so...but that's the problem I think. I'm hoping, which is what makes me suspect it will take a little longer.

With XC you have to trust the mixer isn't logging the data and that the mixer won't steal your coins. Giving control of your coins to another entity is just asking for trouble.
Thansk I appreciate your (and others input here) So..with DRK the nodes merely witness the change of ownership and verify it? But with a mixer the coins pass into the mixer (rather than merely being witnessed) and then have to be "allowed" out the other end? Can you expand? 1.Where exactly is the "mixer"? 2.If the source is open, then would that mean coins could not be stolen? 3.The developer of XC stated "mixers don't steal coins".....but you seem to think they can? So how would a mixer steal coins?

Still... the only people active in this thread are people who want sell, not buy, QCN. Is anyone interested in buying QCN...or does everyone just want to mine and sell?
No interest at all from anyone who wants to improve the price or the project. How will this coin ever prosper?
I've bought lots of QCN, I'm active on poloniex. Give this coin time! It's early days You may be right, but this space changes so fast, and I've seen easily replicated coins that rise then drift then flatline, only to never recover. This coin still has a chance! I have a few, but would like to buy more. I like Cryptonote. I think this coin looks cheap, but in the long run there doesn't seem to be a need, for a whole lot of similar coins. There is every chance that the ones or ones that develop the best infrastructure will dominate IMHO.

The mixer. I'm a happy holder of XC and will probably buy more. I have just one question, if anyone would be so kind as to try to answer. There has been people saying that a mixer could "steal coins" or log information.
If it's all open source would this be possible and is there an answer to this. Thank you in advance.

Apparently, they call chaeplin as president chaeplin in darkcoin thread -_-
Chaeplin did make the best attempt from anyone to show a link. Without Chaeplin's attempt we had pretty much nothing from what I saw. We should thank him. Chaeplin...if you read this I will send you some XC, let me know your address

That seems like a direct link, if so he should get the 100 XC...
Well I guess it depends on what we mean by "hard link", and what the dev was trying to test. But for the sake of 100 XC...i think they should make peace...and maybe say..."that's not quite what i was looking for but...hey...here is 200 XC, and thanks."

any news from the dev today? Did he repy to Chaeplin claims?
I don't think so. I hope he doesn't have to. I'd prefer he worked on XC. If the issues Chaeplin raised will be dealt with via multipath, then the dev might as well put his energy into that. I'd prefer that the dev didn't watch the price (as we all do haha) but worked on the project. I think this post was a good explanation of what Chaeplin did. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=630547.msg7270829#msg7270829I think Chaeplin criticisms are helpful (up to a point),
