It's 68.000.000 so price should be between 2500 and 3800. Now it's very underpriced, even more with the coming features  How did you calculate that? Marketcap compared to other coins Which coins? Thanks |

let them know that the price is being manipulated by whales, they can check the charts.
Whales have to buy and sell too. It's pretty hard for them to be anything but obvious. Let them know the price had a major correction as it was so new. If it is going to rise, then it is now building a base and is in "accumualtion" phase. If it is going back up then smart people are "accumulating" here while others lighten their load. This sort of thing is well known in technical theory. One could even look to Dow Theory to get insight into what may be happening (although I'm not necessarily advocating Dow Theory) to begin to understand. From WIKI Dow theory asserts that major market trends are composed of three phases: an accumulation phase, a public participation (or absorption) phase, and a distribution phase. The accumulation phase (phase 1) is a period when investors "in the know" are actively buying (selling) stock against the general opinion of the market. During this phase, the stock price does not change much because these investors are in the minority demanding (absorbing) stock that the market at large is supplying (releasing). Eventually, the market catches on to these astute investors and a rapid price change occurs (phase 2). This occurs when trend followers and other technically oriented investors participate. Look at the volume that went through in the massive rise. It takes time for some of that to be redistributed. Didn't someone say the top addresses are increasing? Cryptcoin just exposed as scam. Looks like it was an ex-developer who made a false claim about there being hidden coins. The price crashed, and then it was found out that there were no hidden coins. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=618377.msg7428989#msg7428989 I watched it happen, and thought it was strange with everyone in the poloniex trollbox talking about the "scam" some buyers appeared soaking all the coins up from all the people who panicked. Thats why the openness of the XC team is good.Hmmm... XC, you looking pretty damn sexy

Obviously gov couldn't actually shutdown the coin, but they *could* outlaw merchants from accepting non-transparent crypto without also collecting egregious AML/KYC on normal retail customers. That'd certainly limit the mainstream appeal of such a coin.
They will still have to balance that with peoples right to not have anyone who knows their address knowing a lot about their finances. Though maybe they don't see things that way, especially if it becomes an issue of "national security"  |

XMR certainly looks to be a good call as it seems to stand a better chance of establishing itself the way it is going. Another coin that seems interesting is XC whose team is making noises that they are working towards solving some of issues with these coins. Just got on after a day of meetings and was surprised to see my buy order fill so low. I then added more and made the candle a few minutes ago. If folks would quit selling smalls, the price would rise nicely. .
I think a lot of the smalls are not people selling but bots....but don't want to discuss till we have a separate thread to discuss price |

I think the DRK fanboys are finally waking up... Could not agree more... Who could the "other currency" with working nodes be I wonder  "Guys WTF. I've been a longterm holder of DRK for ages but this has gone too far. The original bug was supposed to be an easy fix, yet it took a month for the next release. It's now been found out that the new release doesn't even work. This is twice now. In that thirty odd days our competition has passed us, imagine what it's going to be like when DRK now gets pushed back even longer. There's even another currency out there with working node payments and they haven't even been around for a third of the time DRK has. Look, I'm holding onto my coins, but this is getting ridiculous. I'm starting to think Evan is way out of his depth." Can someone post a link to the source please? |

1.I agree with Mikes idea to have a separate thread to talk about price. I could say quite a lot about the price and what could be going on but I'd prefer to do it in another thread. I've worked professionally as a trader at various times since 1991 so do enjoy that sort of thing but I agree we should keep it separate.
2.I also think it would help if we had a place where we we provided clear succinct answers to the FUD (and I maen each particular accusation), as I don't think it's been clearly and succinctly dealt with, or if it has it's been lost in all the the noise.

one of us is color blind but i see orange, not coffee brown.
I think colours like blue silver or even brown could be worth considering, if you want a professional look. though it's alos a bit more conservative. I guess it depends on what is trying to be projected |

Just want to clarify a point. The "privacy" feature on XC is only optional isn't it? One can., if ones wants, use XC with obscuring the address they came from and went to?

buy wall 85 BTC is gone. now you will see this 85 BTC move over to sell wall at 140k or 150k. easy flips all weeks long.
perhaps that was a whale buying his own coins to manipulate the market, hope i'm wrong though. Lot's of sales going through just above that buy wall for some time. Which was a little strange. Then someone sold the wall. Then no more sales sales going through at that level. Maybe someone wanted to buy so they just pressured the price down until another whale cracked and sold? Mind you, my conspiracy theories are generally wrong |

QuazarCoin is great, and what's the difference from the XMR. They look like the same thing. We like the new coin, and I think QCN will be hot! when the price is low, i'll buy some and wait! good luck! 1.XMR has a bit more hype 2.XMR has several developers, and this has been seen as a positive. 3.XMR has a different emission curve. That said, the developer of this coin has said he hopes to announce a development team too at some point, so that should be positive. This developer has done many things right but it's a lot to do without help. It's good to see him coming up with his own ideas to improve things in the XMR code too. |
