Price took a beating, otherwise good coin/dev/community. Cheap on Bittrex right now. Cheap compared to what? I see we got a comedian in the house. SO how about you go find me a cheaper x13 pos coin (50% year 1) with anon/supersend/coin control with a sub 6mil coin cap. Are you wanting another supersend coin or just any anon coin? My intention though was not to be a comedian. I own some Mammoth and have been thinking seriously about buying more. I've been surprised at how fast it collapsed. Now I'm old enough and ugly enough to understand that this collapse may not be "rational". It may represent a great opportunity. So lets be clear. I apologise if I came off as flippant. Can we compare it to some similar coins? |

The socialism doesn't need to be omniscient. It does if you want the certainty you want. Fact is we can study history and see what happens every time. If you are saying the entire world then you have a very difficult case to make if you are using history as your guide and if it's just the USA then...m'eh. But if you pay me , then I know your address (or one of them), so doesn't that mean you are not anonymous to me? and if that information gets leaked, from one single person you interact with, than all of your transaction history becomes discoverable. sure there is always an element of plausible deniablity, but tyrants dont give a crap about plausible deniability. Nope and nope. I use a mixer, and then you end up using your fancy blockchain analysis to find out what some dude across the world is doing with his coins. Ok, well you could have saved us some time by saying Bitcoin plus a mixer is "anonymous". |

You did not read the post I linked to. In that post, I quoted the links to the evidence that the G20 is cooperating and preparing to act in unison in hunting down all wealth as the western socialism collapses into bankruptcy. Don't believe the propaganda put out by the-powers-that-be in their controlled mass media that make you believe that the people are rising up. Cyprus, Greece, Ukraine, Syria, etc are evidence that Russia, Europe, and the USA are fully cooperating to destroy people who wish to be sovereign, self-reliant, and free. Don't believe the media circus put out there to make you think Putin and Obama are adversaries. These oligarchy are working together. The majority are already dependent on the government and will (unknowingly) support the oligarchy. As the economies turn down hard in 2016 (much worse than in 2008), the Fed will not do QE again and more people will become dependent on the government for their survival. The government will come after all the wealth. You will be begging for hyperinflation when you experience what government always does throughout history during large scale sovereign defaults. Whilst the scenario you favour is one possible scenario, it's not the only possibility, and I don't tend think it's the most likely one (although parts of it are in all likelihood unavoidable) . But as I don't now the future I may be wrong. I don't tend to think the powers that be are omniscient or omnipotent. Bitcoin is proof that design has inertia, and somethings can never be changed later because they conflict, e.g. I pointed out that the bloat of ring signatures may rule out decentralized mining, which could mean the government will control the coin as they probably will Bitcoin (by controlling the few well known pools with national security gag orders).
There is no the government though. Yes the US is trying to make itself so, but the tide is firmly against it globally now. The world is moving away from being unipolar, and a fair degree of this is in reaction to the over reach of the USA on the internet. It's not clear where this will take us in the next few years, but I don't think we can be justified in talking about "the government" taking the kind of control you talk about for certain. |

NOOOO! I just made the most brain-dead mistake. I went to go fill out the 'buy' form to buy more XC, but in my haste I accidentally filled out the 'sell' form and sold half my XC! Buy order waiting to get filled so I can have my XC back..  I hope it wasn't too many...did you get them back? |

talk about tax and cryptos is just dumb and nonsense at this stage. i don't even file or declare my lost, it's just too much paper works and no clear policy  Agree with you, I just wanna smoothly point you out, that XC's decentralized mixer, even being perfectly working, does not deliver an extra protection against tax officiers, than BTC does. Most people don't want to hide from the tax officer, they just don't want the whole world knowing about their finances. Bitcoin makes it far too easy for people to know a lot about someones finances. |

Hey hope you're right bro. I would be happy if it stayed above 002 - I could sleep better  Only a matter of time before its back up over .002, probably tomorrow at some point. I doubt it, but it's not necessarily a reflection on how good XC is. It's quite normal after such a big drop for it to take a little time to recover. this coin has the support from buyers it will rise and do not worry about drop its just natural. Same here ..I just don't want people too get to stressed if it doesn't happen immediately. It's easy to get stressed out when something is so volatile. |

Well he may not realize it but he is helping Bitcoin (and XC) quite a lot.
