1203  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: 12 (2 T/hash) early Jan CoinTerra order. on: February 09, 2014, 01:52:24 PM
Well it looks like I'm just going to be keeping these unless I get at least $11,000 for them. These will mine for months after the others are too pricey cuz of electricity.

I best call out the power guy I guess and run a bunch of 220!  Smiley

Good luck to you.

Thanks. The hardest part so far was telling the guys I need normal plugs for the 220. In the USA we use these crazy large plugs for 220 most of the time.

The hardest problem is getting an electrician to side step the NEC if you want to change things up like that.. A licensed electrician can lose his license for violations like the one you are asking him to commit.
1204  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Hacking The KNC Firmware: Overclocking on: February 08, 2014, 02:20:31 AM
Ok I helped all you guys out, see if you can assist.

I just added a 4th module to make a Jupiter and of course with my luck it has a Dead Die 0

I am overclocked to 231

As soon as I try 241 or 251 dies start getting shut down due to HW errors.

As you can see I have the temperature covered.

Whats your suggestion on settings? What should I adjust in advanced?

This is a October Saturn/Jupiter with 4 VRMs

Thanks for any suggestions

I have done the same with one of my older units.. With the voltage control on the dies I bumped everything to about -0.0860 volts to keep it stable and keep the dies alive... I did have a troublesome die  that simply would need a lower OC than the 241 I am running on most so I would drop it to 211 to keep it stable..
1205  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: 12 (2 T/hash) early Jan CoinTerra order. on: February 08, 2014, 01:03:32 AM
They are supposedly shipping tomorrow... I would guess that they could be delayed till monday shipping. And yes my friend, it seems china is undercutting your hardware. They gotta be shipping around 500 th every two weeks now.

So I can order 10,000 units tomorrow? There has to be some delay other than shipping times.

Also anyone have any of these in hand or are they so far a vapor product?

I'm not trying to defend anyone that is pushing the Ant comparison as there is a number of factors to consider when comparing them to a Cointerra unit but look at the threads in goods with hundreds of pages of replies, yes they have been shipping, and are shipping by the hundreds each week. This is most likely one of the regular contributors to the ongoing increase in hashrate, and the earlier comments on price are correct.

I know in the US when I order I will receive in 3 business days, they are shipping right now from Bitmain
1206  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Lepa PSU g1600 kills powered risers?! on: February 08, 2014, 12:55:15 AM
I have a LEPA G1600 I used with mine and have had no issues.. Have the basic CHinese risers with a capacitor on them. You can smoke the capacitor if you plug the riser in backwards. Both the LEPA connectors and the riser connector should be keyed but I know from experience if you don't pay attention and force it the capacitor will smoke..
1207  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 50btc.com ripped me off over 300 bitcoins no response from customer service on: February 06, 2014, 11:10:46 PM
I can't for the life of me understand why you would leave years of mining revenue with 50BTC or any pool for that matter.. That said how long have you given them to respond to any requests to correct the issue?
1208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: February 06, 2014, 05:19:28 PM
English article of the data center build http://www.datacenterknowledge.com/archives/2014/02/06/bitcoin-miners-building-10-megawatt-data-center-sweden/

Of course one thing that comes to mind is the commitment to not mine with more of 5% of the hashing power sold, this is an excellent way to side step that whole issue. Make the hosting offer to customers on purpose when the time comes, giving them a clean out moving forward. Good business from KNC's perspective.
1209  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Hacking The KNC Firmware: Overclocking on: February 05, 2014, 04:21:16 AM
Can we put as settings 221 or only 231 211?Huh

Yes you can.. I don't have easy access to the post but a number if times earlier in the thread a table with a more comprehensive list of numbers with associated clock rates was published. Last one was perhaps 2-4 pages back.

I may be late to the party but others are saying they get them quicker ordering right from the source, not to mention it is a little bit less expensive (1.45 BTC), what value add are you providing?

1213  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Scrypt ASIC / SHA-256 combo miners Pics details on: February 02, 2014, 08:29:42 PM
I found them here http://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/Bitcoin-Litecoin-combo-ASIC-Mining-machine_156151732.html
seems to be a few different variants if you do a search.

Wow that's way overpriced for 100Gh/s and 3MH/s.
until the other manufacturers get theirs on the market, it seems this is the only game in town for these devices. he sets his price and people will pay. im sure someone is buying them. I just want to know if they work as advertised.
There are others on the market too, this is too expensive. I just bought one much cheaper (19GHh/s) also from China, but it is not easy to get them. However, for thos who want them fast this is a choice...

Would you share? I cannot find anyone else offering them as of yet..
1214  Economy / Auctions / Re: KNC Jupiter 675 ghs (november batch) on: February 02, 2014, 04:44:51 PM
What is your buyout price? If I want to secure it right away.

Of course he might have multiple people waiting for that price, good luck Smiley
1215  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: 1.50 BTC/Each - OFFICIAL BITMAIN NORTH AMERICAN DISTRIBUTOR NINJATECH.ORG on: February 02, 2014, 04:11:07 PM
Any chance you will start to accept Dwolla? I don't think it is any more risky than bank transfers that can be reversed within 60 days.

I suppose the answer differs depending on the country but I am quite surprised in any country a bank transfer (wire transfer/SEPA I assume) can be reversed after 60 days. In the US they cannot be reversed for any reason and I suspect the EU is similar, or at worst allows a reversal for a very small period of time.

At what point did KNC's "Q1/Q2" ship date become, either implicitly or explicitly, a Q2 shipdate.

He said 'KNC said', i haven't seen them say anything on their website nor via email in quite a while now

When Orama explicitly said they were still in the design phase for the chip, and it was later state 'early design phase'. This removes Q1 as a possibility simply due to the reality of design->test->verification->foundry->packaging->KNC

This was discussed several pages back.

I'm not trying to be an asshole but that does not mean "KNC said" as was stated earlier.. It's may or may not be logical based on where they are but it's not a statement they ever made, state the facts as they are..
