There are about 135 100BTC bars out there if i am not mistaken about half of which are unused. I am simply inquiring about information on how to do so with something of this nature. I am not trying to liquidate this asset so there is no need to be wary or questionable about my identity, just looking for information and to educate myself. I just want to be educated enough on how to go about doing so
Top post above yours is guidelines and tips, it is a great place to get a feel for how to do things.. You said you were not so this is just general guidance.. If you are looking to sell anything that valuable soon it may be better to partner with a trusted member who can post it for you and represent the listing.. It was been done for listings for items like this..

If you can beat the current street price by a bit then you have a possible buyer here..

he could always just buy bitcoin with the cash .. if i didnt have to wait 2 months for coinbase or someone else to allow me to make a purchase that big i'd just buy the bitcoins myself
I think you might have answered your own question regarding why cash is more challenging.. Not saying that's the case but it sure seems likely..

Bumping it up, good response thus far..

While the price for the upgrade board seems attractive and fair, keep in mind that you still need to buy the heatsink and fan, pay for shipping and the PSU on top of that.
Received 12 last week, gives me something to do with my empty controller boards, I had some fun making a 6 module system, adding the 5th and 6 port to all of my Jupiters today just in case I end up bumping them up as well..

Ended up buying 9, not looking for anymore at the moment..
Thanks for all of the responses..

Bids from padrino and crashoveride54902 will not be accepted, as they were bidders in previous auction that never followed through on their bids
Real classy on your part... You end the auction, we have spotty comms because you are actually out of town for a few days after the auction, then I am out of town and we cannot complete the transaction before you re-post.. Meanwhile I'm getting messages from your Group Buy members telling me to watch out for you, would still buy and fund escrow immediately this time assuming you are actually around for a while after the auction ends..

does anyone have a flash file other than 0.96.1, fkn support wont help me unlock my jupiter or sell me a new controler.
When you say help you unlock do you mean password unlock? I had this problem with one I purchased and I did the reset procedure and I could get in, can't say for sure it reset the password or it was already stock but the seller was under the impression he had changed it.. In any case all firmwares are posted to the support page, all the way back to 0.9.0

so the upgrade module will not work on a oct. miner?
The controllers are the same and the 1.00 firmware works with both so I was going to try to mix them and see if the firmware figures out which modules are which. It should be fairly simple bit of code for that. Not sure how deep it goes but KNC noted in the 1.00 release notes that you cannot mix and match modules.. I haven't looked close enough to see what needs to be done but I don't think the monitoring utilities check so the GE and Ericcsson utilities might step on each other's toes..

I'll be closing this soon if there is no interests. I am on the fence about selling these anyway at this price.
Then close it.. Your on the fence about selling at basically retail price anyone can buy a similar kit at, boy it's a tough life..

6 btc is below your min of 8 btc ie $2400
lost about 75% of our money --- you should have gotten our money back from Terraminer ie about $10,000
I am looking to see if can take legal action
Notice the username on that post, it's "soniq`" a new account created today.. He PMed me so I was riding the guy so I could find out where he is, and I think I have it, we shall see.. But in any case that's not soniq, just someone trying to commit fraud with the name soniq`

I have agreed with padrino to sell 2 x miners @ 6 btc each.
The deal will be done on a 50/50 basis with 6btc paid up front and the remaining btc paid on delivery.
Payment address for the transaction -
1293XuVUpRHmLmxZi1kYdwuawj29AR7R8y
I give him credit for taking it this far, he's dedicated in his attempts to commit fraud..

Are these bids for 5 BTC per system, total of 10 BTC or 5 BTC for both..
I read it as one bid for both but the last bid states "bidding on both" which implies some epople may only be bidding on one..
Please clarify

KNC refunders... beware of new , intense "Know Your Customer" (KYC) verification on Bitstamp for Americans... After enduring KNC's slow refunding process, I encountered a week of dialogue at Bitstamp... and eventual approval a day ago, but the funds have yet to be credited to my account. Might look for another exchange....
*Two others I know had the same issue
Not only for americans, Bitstamp does it's KYC procedure for european as well now! How long from *approved to account credited? It sucks they didnt credit it upon approval... I suppose now im holding my breath till monday... I've got their KYC email yesterday and answered all questions, but they haven't replied yet. I did mine a couple of months ago, took about 4 days if I recall correctly..

well is it over?
Wondering the same thing, nothing from the seller via PM yet..

Offer 6.5 BTC with no hosting, as the system will not make more than that it's hard to justify anymore..
|
|

Prices are firm
Escrow released on signed delivery, you can see from the links in OP that miners are working fine
So the shipping company drops and damages a miner, it's the buyers fault although he has no way to deal with it, even if insured it's the senders responsibility to file a claim..
