Each card will pull around ~300W based on how you have them configured, if you undervolt them perhaps you can squeeze under the wire between that and balancing one on both PSUs.

Asked by two separate people if I would consider a partial payment now with the balance due in the coming months as they mine.. Interesting idea but I am torn, trusted members are no problem but handing them out to new members is a bit more risky.

what kind of hash rate do these powercolor's get? ive never really seen anybody say what a powercolor brand gets

I'm ran them at ~815Kh/s per card.. Didn't spend the time to see if they had anymore head room..

1245  Economy / Services / Re: BTCrow.com - Bitcoin Escrow Service - For safer bitcoin transactions on: January 22, 2014, 02:18:18 AM
Has anyone had luck with them lately, used them for a TX last Friday, released funds Saturday as I am the buyer.. In any case seller still doesn't have the BTC and is obviously getting very concerned either I or BTCrow.com scammed him.
My buyer had to actually go back and release funds a 2nd time, unsure why it didnt work 1st time. I recieved letter confirming funds were released but they never appeared, buyer got back on and repeated procedure to release and they showed up in under 24hrs.

Thanks for the note, I just released them again, hopefully it will take this time..

If I could only read the site...
1249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: January 20, 2014, 11:37:14 PM
I've just received newsletter from cloudhashing : "Over the next month or so we will be bringing more than 2 Petahashes online. This marks a huge increase in hashing power. We've partnered with industry leading ASIC manufacturers to create the absolute best hashing environment for our customers. "

I think that cloudhashing is talking about Knc.

Actually they are partnered with Cointerra, I suspect that is who they are actually talking about..
1250  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: KNC Juipter value (2/november batch) on: January 20, 2014, 07:43:54 PM
It's a tough call to auction them, if it's too long the value will sink by the time the auction is over...

In any case if you find the right buyer you might get 6-7BTC but it can be a tough road here because many are well informed with respect to how difficulty will impact ROI..
1251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: January 20, 2014, 07:21:20 PM
I don't see why I can order a boxed PSU from just about anywhere and have no problem with customs, yet people are reluctant to include them that way with rigs? KNC could simply buy in bulk (as they did for the hosted rigs and their own) and get a bulk discount and chuck them in the box. AFAIK no power supplies are manufactured in Sweden and the ones we've all got now got past customs with no problems so why would including a brand new 3rd party PSU to run each rig be a problem? One that isn't certified and loose in the box would be, a bulk bought 3rd party PSU would just be another item sold which happens every day worldwide.
That way they would be sure everyone had the PSU most suitable and avoid issues and returns?

Did you not read the earlier statements, it's not about YOUR experience, rather some customers in countries that have more of an issue importing full systems. Given how easy it seems to be for you why are you sweating it anyway? It's been discussed before so I am not going to reiterate, for a little insight look back maybe a page or so for mention of one specific country...

Come down somewhere under the expected ROI and maybe we can talk but you are currently very far from it..
1253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: January 20, 2014, 02:47:48 AM

There are no miners for sale right now that will ROI and I don't mean break even.  I mean make a profit that is worth my investment.

All depends on how you speculate on the price of BTC, and if you can manage to find decent deals but they sure are there..
1254  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: world first one. bitcoin+litecoin ASIC mining machine, support combo mode. on: January 20, 2014, 02:46:05 AM
Definitely interested in checking it out, standing by if I can provide any assistance, pass along pricing as well when you have it..
1255  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Hacking The KNC Firmware: Overclocking on: January 20, 2014, 12:17:00 AM
HELL YEA! After 2 hours I was able to overclock my 8VRM unit with 211. SPI 3.3V 256kHZ and now ne magic behind this. You just have to find a good value for each DIE to get ~50A.

1. edit cgminer.sh with '211'
2. restart cgminer '/etc/init.d/cgminer.sh restart'
3. give it a minute and have a look at the advanced tab.
4. write down wich DIEs don't reach the 50A.
5. give each die more volt. 0.0748 seems to be a good starting point. but to be sure go up at lower steps.
6. now restart again cgminer. only at this point you will see if you where successful.
7. did you reached 50A/DIE? | no? -> restart from point 2. | yes? have fun!

i am not responsible for anything Cheesy

This definitely shows the general process however there is a lot of variability in the units.. For example a number of them can do 211 without any voltage changes, others like yours require a fairly heavy set of modifications. The point is to take an easy and not just jump to the top voltage wise..
1256  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: -- Butterfly Labs New 600GH "Mining Card" - RED FLAGS?!?! on: January 20, 2014, 12:02:22 AM
Hey Searing... since you think it's going to be a brick, I assume you won't mind if we deliver your unit last, right?  I mean, according to you, a brick is a brick, so if you get it at the end of the line you won't mind, right?

You were not forced in to anything. If you had taken delivery of your 65nm when you were up for it, you would have ROI'd and been in the black already.  You know it, I know it... everyone knows it.  You just want to whine and bitch because that's your hobby.  So please, by all means, cry some more... everyone loves hearing you whine.

Nice job sinking to the same level as some consumers.. That is bad business all around and reflects very poorly on you.. I hope it was a mistake made in anger and not indicative of how you conduct yourself professionally, if so it's a huge red flag for anyone looking to do business with you.
1257  Economy / Computer hardware / [SOLD] PowerColor Radeon R9 290 Cards - One left on: January 19, 2014, 10:34:09 PM
EDIT:

juggalodarkclow is purchasing the last card for $530.69 including Paypal fees. I will be sending the card first given juggalodarkclow solid reputation, payment will be due upon receipt.

Have 6 1 extra PowerColor R9 290s, ran them in for a few hours to make sure they are all working.. I purchase dozens of cards at a time and simply have too many on hand, looking for BTC also so this might be a good way to do it.

They haven't been registered with PowerColor so you will be able to register them as the original owner. I tossed the boxes so they will most likely come in XFX R9 290 brown boxes since I kept them for shipping cards out if I ever need to.

In any case $515 USD in BTC (Bitstamp) shipping included in the US, PM me for International shipping.
