Has anyone had a successful transaction with the OP? Successful as in he received the coins and escrow was released to you. Not as in he quickly funded escrow.

I have a 25 BTC coin en route to OP now, shipped overnight so it will be in hand tomorrow morning.
382  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Forcing a variable speed fan to full speed on: June 17, 2015, 01:58:15 PM
I believe if you were to disconnect the other wire and leave just red and black that it would run at full speed.  Could probably pop them right out of the connector, no need to cut them.  Not a software solution, however.

That definitely works..
383  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: 3 Antminer s4's for sale in USA on: June 17, 2015, 01:56:45 PM
2 miners sold today, only one left now.

whoever spoke shit to me,look here for the proof i sold them lol

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Used-Antminer-S4-for-sale-in-USA-perfect-condition-/221803128349?

other one is taken by toom.im owner.

I am in many forums and did tons of exchanges with many guys and the strange part is newbies talking to me and doubted me. This should be a lesson to those who donot do enough background work and simply tell me to ship the miner without paying me single cent.

In the end it was a moot point anyway, if you wanted ebay pricing you should not have come to the forums to try and sell them since you will not get ebay pricing here..
384  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S2 upgrade kit? EDIT: New info 3/11 on: June 17, 2015, 01:50:52 AM
I hope Bitmain comes out with another decent chip so I can play with it. I really want to like SFARDS and they do seem pretty open to working with the community, but I just really hate BGA.

But yeah, S4+ definitely caused a double-take. And who knows, maybe they'll make S2 upgrade kits next generation?

*crickets*

Yeah, the S4+ and that PSU they came out with recently both threw me for a loop.

They are trying to maximize profit and an S4+ is a much better way to do that than to deliver S2 upgrade kits.. Like any commercial enterprise they are balancing customer satisfaction against profits..

I Skyped you yesterday as requested, nothing back...
386  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTS]amazon account sell - gift balance on: June 15, 2015, 11:49:48 AM
STILL ONLINE OFFER, NEED TO SELL IT!

I can turn this balance into giftcards. Which would make it much easier to sell. I'll do this for 15%.

Clarification: I can turn this balance into amazon giftcards.

How do you turn a gift card balance into gift cards? Very interested in hearing how since normally it's not allowed..
387  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Gift Card Exchange on: June 14, 2015, 06:51:43 PM
Most of the starbucks card are carded.
Will your card stay good forever ?
Can't guarantee anything. My cards would be as good as anyone else's on here.

So assumption being all Starbucks gift cards on here are illegal? Be clear what you are selling since that is not the case, some are legitimate..
388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient HDD Mining | New 1.2.3 Fork block 92000 on: June 14, 2015, 03:44:24 AM
Looking for a couple of pointers, some searches turned up a bunch of information and a number of options, looking for some guidance from experienced miners...

I have a 40TB system in 10X 4TB HDDs (it's been for sale but for now I might as well mine BURST with it)..

Thinking about putting Ubuntu back on a boot drive and setting up a massive RAID0, does that make the most sense or should I break it up somehow?

Thanks for any assistance..
389  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 40TB NAS - Intel Core i5 3.4GHz, ASUS Sabertooth Z77, 32GB RAM, Full Tower on: June 14, 2015, 03:31:57 AM
WTB but price is way to high than my budget i wish if we can close deal in a year time Wink

For what it is the price is a killer deal but it's definitely for the person that can budget for 40TB with an i5 and 32GB of RAM...

Does anyone know what web framework Purse used to build it's app?
391  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: buy From Amazon.Com with Bitcoins WITH DISCOUNT + ESCROW on: June 13, 2015, 12:18:55 PM
So any item = something less than $100 apparently..
392  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: buy From Amazon.Com with Bitcoins WITH DISCOUNT + ESCROW on: June 13, 2015, 03:06:38 AM
Any details on the discount, etc.?

A pretty badass BURST mining rig right here, watching.

I hadn't even thought of that but you are right it sure would.. Could even have any of the unused space mining BURST while using it as a HTPC and/or NAS
394  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: June 11, 2015, 01:08:36 AM
I feel a bit betrayed...
they took the money in preorders and grew on the backs of the small miners
now that they are at other level, they say: adios!
....

betrayed? Did they deliver the product you paid for and correct for any gap in performance with refunds? Sounds like they did exactly what they said they would do..
395  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Purse.io - Bitcoin Amazon Marketplace - Save ~10-25% on Amazon Wishlist on: June 10, 2015, 01:58:35 AM
My wishlist for Purse.io

1. Allow all sellers to post any discount they want, let the market sort it out.

2. Allow sellers to be more precise in the discounts they request, why have 20 people at $284.07.

3. Faster responses in CS. Though to be fair, in urgent matters they are reasonably fast.

4. Permanent sort check-boxes, should not need to keep clicking on United States, Japan, or whomever in the pull-down menu.

5. Add a column for exact percentage above Bitcoin price. This will help in the international postings as well.

6. Automatically remove or disable a sellers posting after X unique cancellations, much like Craigslist's flagging . This will slow the daily routine of finding out after you accept an offer, it is going to the Comoros Islands with $45 shipping and $30 duty that was not included.

7. Remove ratings for buyers, this only causes buyers to habitually rate sellers as perfect as they fear retaliation. The only thing a buyer can do badly is fraud, that should be a termination offense anyway. Of course what can the seller do badly, the seller can only not communicate or confirm, anything else like claiming the package didn't arrive is fraud I suppose.

Agree with some of these but not #7.. As it is buyers abuse the system and this would provide additional opportunity to do so..
396  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Custom server PSU breakout boards. DPS-2000 BB, HP 1200 and 1300w. 2880w on: June 09, 2015, 12:00:48 PM
Hello,
are there any adapters/boards available which can power a KNC Titan (4-8x PCIe, 1600W + 1x5v Molex for Controller)?
Most boards "only" have connectors for PCIe, but I wouldn't like an extra PSU for the Controllerboard. Any suggestions?
Kind regards

And here are the first pics of the boards:

2x USB ports able to charge Iphone/pad/pod, Samsung,... at full speed
Or simply power raspberries/beaglebone...

1x Molex HDD connector with a cable to power a KNC controller.

The board is a pass through, so you can still use your PCI-E cable to power anything.

Rated at 3A, over 92% efficiency for the voltage converter, you'll only draw 16w from your PSU if you manage to max out the USB ports and the Moles HDD plug.

Price will be 19$ for the first batch, including one short PCI-E to PCI-E cable and one Molex HDD to Molex HDD cable.

Have you tested these with a Neptune or Titan controller yet? I built something similar but used an off the shelf 12V -> 5V 3A step down.. The Neptune spikes above 3A from time to time so I can't keep the controller stable when it is running at more than 2Th or so. I picked up some 8A converters to wire in and haven't had an issue since, haven't measured the actual peak usage though, I know 8A is way overkill.
397  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] Huawei P8 Standard Version EU on: June 09, 2015, 11:46:08 AM
Shipping to the EU? I order things frequently from EU resellers and could probably help out depending on the specifics on shipping.
398  Economy / Services / Re: Amazon Purchasing Service: 65% ; FULL ESCROW ($75-$569) Via Cryptothrift on: June 08, 2015, 05:11:36 PM
I've used Cryptothrift before, had good luck with it for some small things..

Interested in giving the service a shot and may try it later this week however I require (and will pay) that the items go to you first and then are shipped to me.. Let me know if that will be a problem.
399  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: 29 x Spondoolies SP30s for sale 7 BTC Each for the LOT on: June 08, 2015, 02:49:25 AM
Did you survey the market first? It would be hard if not impossible to get that pricing even on eBay (after fees) but that may be your best bet if you want something approaching 7 or 8 BTC per unit..
400  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Purse.io - Bitcoin Amazon Marketplace - Save ~10-25% on Amazon Wishlist on: June 07, 2015, 05:50:55 PM

How can you tell a user is using 2 different amazon accounts ?

Since the user ordered two things from my list and when they showed up they were both from different Amazon IDs.

I have ordered a few things from amazon myself and got different order IDs..

Different Amazon IDs as in different people with completely different accounts..
