Making a loss??? You mined with these for how long, and I assume bought during the 15 pack days? Your definition of loss must be quite different than normal..

Free bump

Price drop.

I am now officially now making a loss.

Thanks for the input I have updated the original post to reflect the new price.

x15 Available Spondoolies Tech SP20 JACKSON as per the below link
http://www.spondoolies-tech.com/products/holiday-special-sp20-jackson-shipping-from-stock

These miners are no longer in production and are limited to find.
All working as per manufacture specifications
items are practically new as they haven't been really used.
Packed and ready to be picked up or shipped (at your expense)

Please note due to the nature of Bitcoin there are no returns for the items sold.
Price of $650(AUD) each is firm and not negotiable.
I am located in Melbourne, Australia

Take 1 or more or take the lot!
Pictures can be provided on request

$650 AUD is like $450 USD.

For $1000 USD you can get a S7 right now

189  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Spondoolies SP30 on: January 27, 2016, 03:51:14 PM
The market price for SP30s is quite a bit higher than $450 USD per, with the units being rack mounted and fairly dense people still gravitate toward them.. If you can buy 2 SP30s for the price of an S7 point me toward them since I would grab a bunch..
190  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] KnC Titan Cubes all dies working perfectly priced $500 or less on: January 22, 2016, 01:50:22 AM
I had a decent amount of respect for both mindtrip and Natty due to their history in the forms and our paths crossing previously but this entire episode is so embarrassing, perhaps in your professional lives you don't conduct yourselves like this and the forums are just an outlet for you both. In any case it's been a sad affair..
191  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why not use Paypal for accepting payments? on: January 20, 2016, 02:17:22 PM
---
If I would buy or sell something, I would suggest splitting the PayPal fee.

I think it is better to pay 3.9% or less to PayPal than get scammed.

I don't think this is the right community for you.

Could you please elaborate?

What is the problem?
It is a BITCOIN FORUM, so if you dont believe in the project its probably not the place for you.

Ok I understand that view. But I honestly believe in bitcoin, but when I use my hard earned money to buy something from stranger online, I prefer security. I don't think that we should embrace fundamental views. Why can't we use each tool for the purpose that it does best? Bitcoin is good for many things, but online buying  from strangers is not one of them.

As with many things it can be useful for the right type of transaction for the buyer and seller.. I frankly sell the large majority of my hardware settled via Paypal transactions, it provides an excellent opportunity to deliver hardware to customers that otherwise may not be comfortable purchasing. Also some of my largest Paypal transactions includes large miners, although the reasoning is generally because they like to hold BTC.
192  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: Group Buy! - Antminer S5+ bitcoin miner 7.7 T @3436W - 2700 - Ends January 28th on: January 20, 2016, 01:26:20 PM
Please don't, someone is taking you for a ride... In short $2700 is $1,000 over market for that hash rate with 2X S7, which in your case is very important since your electric is crazy high.
193  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Yesminer M20 / M10 on: January 20, 2016, 12:53:15 PM
Oh man, don't tell me you paid 18k without even seen the hardware working with your OWN EYES!  Shocked
My bank account manager told me that its not possible to revert back a wire, only with receiver's consent.

You can revert if you make financial security agreement between two companies, its just like escrow and the escrow is the bank. But without that agreement you cant do nothing.

If the bank is involved as a party that may be possible, an agreement between the two companies without an explicit acknowledgement by the bank does not provide anything approaching "escrow". In short the recipient of the wire can withdraw the funds and walk, the bank is not going to cough up 18K because of a contract issue between two parties they know nothing about..

Like others I hope they are in fact legitimate but the conduct thus far has me thinking like J4bberwock is, hard to believe it's not a scam..

195  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitfury: "16nm... sales to public start shortly" on: January 16, 2016, 08:15:54 PM
We are in talks with them.

Let us know what you find out please

Is he talking about bitfury or innosilicon?  Huh

BitFury.

One day this industry will get by without NDAs. Bitfury has been screaming to the world about their chips so we already know their specs, and the technical information can in large parts be reverse engineered the second any OEM boards are shipped. The prices and sales conditions are something that funamendally should never be NDAed and its a sign of bad things. There's no good tweeting you want 2MB blocks when you're simultaneously keeping people quiet.

[For the record I was asked to sign an invalid NDA with Spondoolies, a gentleman's NDA with Bitmain, and nothing with any other company.]

But then you don't design and sell machines, so why would most companies require an NDA for you? In short it depends on the information being shared..
196  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S7 is available at bitmaintech.com with 4.86TH/s, 0.25J/GH on: January 16, 2016, 01:46:27 AM
Has anyone gotten a batch 9 shipping confirmation yet?

Do people think Bitmain will go back to a fixed USD price if BTC keeps dropping?  Guesses as to what the fixed price would be?

A number of early batch 9 orders were shipped, those that came in before they dropped the price.. Confirmed by my rep at Bitmain
197  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 2.5 GH Titan Farm on: January 16, 2016, 01:45:09 AM
PM me a reasonable price for a 4 -5 set of functional miners with no dead dies.  Market condition considered

If that was the path taken initially there would be a few buyers by now, myself included..

Is there any news on a more efficient Miner...S8?

Typically the even numbered models use the same chips as the previous odd numbered models so it probably wouldn't be more efficient, just more hashrate.  If they introduce another higher hashrate with the same chips it will probably be an S7+ though.  The next jump in efficiency should be an S9.

Also just putting it out there but last night I lost internet for 10-15 minutes, didn't find out until this morning, and both of my S7's set to 60% manual fans did just fine.  One is batch 5 with original firmware and one is batch 8 also with original firmware.

There may be a possibility of a higher chip count system running a lower average clock rate as an incremental efficiency increase...
