1361  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Disappearance of cash and bitcoin as an alternative? on: June 23, 2023, 03:39:28 PM
No, I don't think so, a lot of transactions are still settled in cash< see and after 2020 more than a quarter of transactions are still settled in cash and it's a preferred option for many when you want to trade from the local store or pay for daily requirements. I expect this percentage to continue to decline, from 71% in 2019 to 25%, which is a significant change, but if we reach zero, this may take more than 50 years.

Source

61% transactions were settled with debt, which shows that sometimes cash makes us feel guilty when we spend a lot of it. While I can pay 10,000 dollars with a single click, the pain it causes when I pay it with cash is greater.
1362  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When is the right time to buy bitcoin before the halving? on: June 23, 2023, 03:32:14 PM
Bitcoin needs about 6 months of halving to see a clear change in the price, so the most appropriate time for me is several months before halving, then there will be a drop in the price below the nearest 200-Week MA level. The farther the price is from the 200-Week MA, the more it is an ideal opportunity to buy, especially if it is near halving.
هf you don't know about trading the best advice is to learn, stay away from short-term trading, and use DCA if you do not know how to make a decision.

1364  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance to integrate lightning network on: June 23, 2023, 02:01:53 AM
I have withdrawn filecoin before in the past and the withdrawal time is very fast within seconds. I am wondering why the need for those altcoins with cheaper fee to be tokenized on other blockchain like BSC because they have faster withdrawal time. Just like this filecoin, the withdrawal is fast and it has cheaper fee which is the main network. Binance estimated the withdraw time to be 40 minutes which is just manipulation.
This is very funny, the fee for withdrawing to BEP20 is cheaper than the fee for withdrawing to the real blockchain in filecoin, it was mainly promoted because using BEP20 is cheaper and faster. It is difficult to find a faster blockchain than BSC because they are fully centralized, there are only 21 validators and these validators are all connected to Binance even if there is an error Smart Chain will be Halted.

The initial announcement was posted to Twitter by BNB Chain at 9:19 pm EDT, saying there would be a temporary pause on the BSC network. By 9:35 pm EDT, however, the network pause turned into a halt.
1365  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BlackRock and Fidelity both apply for bitcoin ETFs on: June 23, 2023, 01:18:48 AM

Yes, I hope everyone uses their brains and should speculate that the SEC under uncle Gary is really acting dishonestly. They regulate the cryptospace through enforcement of unclear rules. The exchanges ask what are the rules to clarify, however, the SEC cannot or will not give them an answer. This is a very head shaking situation because the consumer which the SEC was supposed to protect is financially affected everytime they announce something about the crackdown.

I don't see any other detailed motives about what happened. The whole thing is that the SEC does not want the US investor to be exposed to this type of asset at the present time, and what accelerated these things is the huge losses that investors suffered in the year 2022, not to mention the FTX crisis, so they are trying to extract any A platform that could collapse in the future or be managed with many doubts. Try to read what is happening as Blackrock paves the way belied by crypto small market cap.
1366  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin high transaction fees is a disadvantage to small business owners on: June 23, 2023, 01:10:34 AM
Using  Binance, has also been suggested to me, that it is a better option to escape bitcoin high transaction fees. I would love to make the efforts to introduce my customers to the use of Binance, as an exchange in our transactions, but Binance is presently having an issue with SEC in my country. Nevertheless, I'll still keep the option in mind, pending when they resolve their matter.
Accepting Bitcoin via Binance does not mean that you offer your customers the experience of using cryptocurrencies, but you risk the possibility of losing your money, as Binance is a centralized entity, and if it is hacked, your money has disappeared and no one will guarantee it to you.

Why not give the user several options such as paying by coingate and BTCPAYSERVER with the possibility of adding a lightning network, all of which will reduce your exposure to fees and consider that the money that goes directly to your wallet is similar to DCA.

Also, lightening networks is another option to manoeuvre this high fees, but frankly I don't understand how it works yet. I'll go through and diligently study the links that have been shared on this topic.

This is very easy with BTCPAYSERVER you need a little bit of technical knowledge which can be gained from YouTube videos, hiring a developer or using third party applications.
1367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trump Coin ($dtc) is starting to move. on: June 22, 2023, 03:35:23 AM
Unless Trump officially announces that he has launched a cryptocurrency, this currency is a scam.
Trump has not yet announced a cryptocurrency, and therefore I do not advise anyone to invest in it, regardless of the quick riches promises they make.

the only move that Trump Coin ($dtc) is starting to move is MOVING DOOOOOWWWWNNNN

After A Non-Custodial wallet, Atomic Wallet, being compromised (link blown) we must think carefully about trusting closed source wallets, especially when we interact with smart contracts and bridges, which are often hacked by one of the wallet developers.

New wallet is best, it is open source and they have a better user interface.

1369  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance to integrate lightning network on: June 22, 2023, 03:20:32 AM

wBTC withdrawal fee on Binance is 0.0001 wBTC. With its price at $28992, the withdrawal fee in United States dollars is $2.89, which is expensive it is only on Ethereum blockchain (ERC20) if compared to BEP2 and BSC.

Note the attempts to indirectly promote BSC, cheaper fees and less confirmation time, as on average, the transaction confirmation time is supposed to be from 10 minutes to half an hour, but they mentioned an hour as an average, which is a very far estimate.
When you compare the fees, you will inevitably choose BSC because it is the cheapest compared to all networks, but I was surprised that the withdrawal fee is 0.0001. I thought it was much more. or 0.0001 for wBTC not for BTC.

I guess they do this to prevent users to abuse it and at the same time misleadingly led them to believe that Binance chain is the better alternative because it is cheaper. CMIIW.
Not only that, but an attempt to falsify the facts by mentioning the average hour.
1370  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin high transaction fees is a disadvantage to small business owners on: June 22, 2023, 02:57:17 AM
Your problem is not with the transaction fees, as these fees can be closer to zero if the user uses the Lightning network to conduct his daily transactions to buy coffee or about 1% of item value for large payments for those who want to buy a smartscreen or new iPhone or other things whose price may exceed 500 dollar. Your problem is the fluctuation of exchange rates, as there are several price levels, and it is difficult to calculate the profits and losses due to the fluctuation of the exchange rate.
This problem can be solved by accepting stablecoins or using bitcoin payment processing services that transfer users' deposits directly to US dollars in your account.

Here is a list of Bitcoin Payment processors: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5444578.0 from that list you can use CoinGate which support LN and Fiat conversion with 1% fees.
1371  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Manipulation on Peek - What You think ? on: June 22, 2023, 02:48:58 AM
Now we know that manipulators do also take a risk and can fail sometimes but if their attempts are successful, they can also earn a good income with it. Cryptos are continuously getting popular so the regulations are also getting tighter from time to time. The US country are badly affected at this point. Many are panicking and are selling their assets but I can't really blame them.

Manipulators are mostly whales with billions of dollars in investments, part of these investments are in high-risk assets and part of them are in Bitcoin, so in the worst case, less than 10% of their assets will be affected, given that they distribute it in many investments.
The attempt of some small fish to play the same game and invest in this class of assets may cause great losses for them, given that the information that the whales possess may not be available to these small investors, so it is a very high-risk investment. No profits will be realized from such an investment in the long term, because there are always losses that cancel out these profits.

Nah, i do not know him and i do not give merits to anyone on the basis of knowing him/her, to be honest, i have no idea that the op has copied it directly from any source because if that's the case then he would be banned till now, i read the topic, it hits me somewhere, i found it useful as it contains something that was already on my mind (related to Trading bots) so, i thought i should appreciate the OP's effort.
There is no problem with that, but I was surprised by the word "great effort", the user did not try to format the text even when he was outside the formulation of bitcoin trading, so I was surprised by your response.

If we're talking about plagiarism, I doubt they will get banned for that since they posted the source. It's also not instant and could take time since it typically needs someone to report it. But it doesn't change the fact that this is an extremely low effort post. Op most likely wanted to fish merits by lifting a finger and hoped someone would not notice and bite.

According to this definition, the word Plagiarism may apply to this post.

Plagiarism is copying with the intent of passing the work off as your own. In essentially all cases, plagiarism deserves a permaban because it usually proves definitively that the person is here for the wrong reasons: to fill up space in order to get paid, not to actually discuss or contribute.

1373  Economy / Economics / Re: Connect data to accelerate cashless payments on: June 22, 2023, 01:48:24 AM
Time is more valuable than anything these days. Therefore, it is natural for the use of cashless payments to increase. Many people work remotely and stay at home. In other words, they do not have physical interaction with other people, so they spend their money remotely. This is both convenience and distracts you from an effort.
As much as time is important and digital payments are necessary, but cash payments are needed, otherwise the bank closing your account means that you will not even wish to feed yourself.
Risks versus benefits allow us to have a world with multiple payment options, from cash to banking applications, to digital currencies to cryptocurrencies, all of which give the user decentralization and freedom in how to pay their payments, and the volume of transactions can be restricted or tracked to ensure that they are not misused in illegal activities. Sometimes online shopping is laziness of users, you can go and move to the nearest store and buy what you want instead of paying extra costs in shipping and delivery to your home.

1374  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Btc accelerator sites on: June 22, 2023, 01:40:25 AM
If you calculated your price in USD and want to convert them soon, then I would at least send transaction with low recommended fee with enabled RBF because there is no point if your $100 goes down to $80 and you saved $1 in fees. Overall, you are in loss in this case.
It's meaningless to send with 1 sat/vbyte or 2 and broadcast your transaction over and over again.
If you want to pay by bitcoin, the problem will not be in volatility, as the merchant will have a certain time before canceling the transaction, and thus re-broadcasting it for many weeks, which means that you have not paid.
Use cases in such scenarios are sometimes you may need this when you want to collect your income addresses and don't want to pay a lot of fees.
RBF may not be an acceptable solution for some points of sale, and if you pay high fees and the transaction is not confirmed, then inevitably using RBF means higher fees. the correct thing is to choose a good wallet and a good program to estimate fees, and then pay fees equal or slightly higher to ensure that your transaction is confirmed. Fee estimation means that you will always pay higher fees.
1375  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BlackRock and Fidelity both apply for bitcoin ETFs on: June 21, 2023, 05:07:22 AM
I have heard a lot of news about Fidelity and BlackRock for more than 3 years, and with every news related to the ETF, the analyzes begin, which quickly disappear with every postponement, to come back again with every news. and with the conditions that the market is going through, the need to invest in new high-risk assets does not seem attractive to the regulatory committees, so it is inevitable that we will witness any approval of any ETF soon.

If you search the forum for a Bitcoin ETF, you will find annual analyzes, and many of these analyzes are optimistic annually.
1376  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance to integrate lightning network on: June 21, 2023, 05:00:53 AM
Not just WBTC but Bitcoin BEP20 and Bitcoin BEP2  Grin

These options will cause a headache for beginners, imagine that there are 7 ways to withdraw bitcoins and that the cheapest options will be WBTC and Bitcoin BEP20 and there are uses for them or LN without the option to direct exchange it, beginners will definitely prefer WBTC.

The withdrawal fee for the network will be the highest in all cases, and it will be the last option for beginners, while it is the one that represents his bitcoins. Therefore, I hope that the solution to reduce these fees is more than adopting the Lightning Network, which may be useful for small payments less than $ 100.

Anyway, with the entry of Binance and Coinbase and other huge exchanges I'm expecting the Lightning Network capacity to balloon. At the moment, there's just around $145 million.
If merchants accept payments with LN, then a shift will occur.
1377  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Btc accelerator sites on: June 21, 2023, 04:50:03 AM
It is interesting that people have difficulty accepting this fact and everyone hopes that it will somehow speed things up, but without it costing them. Then why would anyone pay a fee of more than 1 sat/byte, if they can subsequently just accelerate the transaction and finish the job?
If you are not in a hurry, then broadcasting a transaction with the lowest fees accepted by nodes and re-broadcasting it will make you pay the cheapest possible fees, but in return you may wait a long time, so this is not an acceleration of the transaction, but rather a reduction of the fees to the minimum level.

1 sat/vbyte is no longer accepted by most nodes, and therefore it will be rejected and you will not even be able to broadcast it.
1378  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to spot a scammers on trading as a newcomer on: June 21, 2023, 04:13:33 AM
Forex trading, although it is similar to Bitcoin, but its basis is based on margin and futures contracts due to the limited movement of the price, and it differs from Bitcoin trading, in which spot trading is considered separate from futures contracts.

Great compilation dear op, really great work, i think if a newbie trader would only give a small glance at this topic, they would avoid so much money getting stolen by these scammers, but your points are mostly related to forex and derivatives trading (stock, etc.) which does not help Crypto traders thoroughly, like there are many scams in crypto which is not included in forex or any other stock trading.
What is the good thing here? The user copied the entire article without adding any effort to it. This article is not dedicated to bitcoin or bitcoin trading directly, but rather to forex trade, which differs from bitcoin. However, you describe the effort as great and give the user merits. I do not want to question if you personally know him but there is nothing special here.

1379  Economy / Economics / Re: Connect data to accelerate cashless payments on: June 21, 2023, 04:02:07 AM
In recent years, especially after the outbreak of the disease worldwide, the shift of people to payment via Internet channels or mobile phones has increased both the number and value of transactions. In the digital age, data can be used to understand and capture customer behavior and consumption trends, helping banks and businesses identify new opportunities and make the right decisions. and improve operational efficiency.

I do not think that the reason for this is the epidemic, but many economic variables, for example inflation is one of the important factors in cashless payments, where instead of moving large cash blocks and trying to sell them quickly due to inflation, you can do that from banking applications easily, this is good for both the buyer and the consumer as they tend Because governments are slow to print larger denominations of cash, which makes the user have to carry many small denominations, or wastes time by carrying large denominations and waiting for everything to be counted manually.

https://www.valueresearchonline.com/stories/25032/the-inflation-monster-is-destroying-your-wealth-every-year/

The ease of conducting transactions digitally, the presence of a smartphone for each user, the stability of the Internet, and the ease of use of interfaces for these applications are what made them relatively better than cash.
1380  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin breaking out of 2 month downtrend on: June 21, 2023, 03:42:59 AM
There is no logical reason for the recent rise, and therefore it is difficult to break the two resistance levels at $29,000 and $31,000. Therefore, I think that before Sunday, if the price did not succeed in maintaining a level above $31,000, we may return to the $26,000 levels.

Given the trading volumes, everyone will start selling from this point to take profits.

It's a good point that the bearish news of SEC lawsuits overall had virtually no bearish effect on Bitcoin. Obviously fundamentally it shouldn't, as Bitcoin isn't referenced, but given how the market functions a lot on sentiment I'd assume that if the market was truly bearish then this would have had a negative effect on the overall market.

Have you considered that Binance will try to use bitcoin liquidity to stabilize BNB price or at least to make things look stable? The last thing they need now is for their currency to drop a lot with all this regulatory news.

Perhaps, after BNB price stabilized, bitcoin sales stopped, and therefore there was no selling pressure on the price, so the price increased.
