1201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A bitcoin obsessed university lecturer. on: July 27, 2023, 02:53:53 PM
The resources allocated for scientific research in some countries are considered good, so student debt is a bigger problem than Bitcoin can solve. Bitcoin may alleviate this problem for some students, but it is nothing more than an investment opportunity that may increase students' income.
Some students solve this problem by working part-time, some by learning additional skills such as programming, some by trading, and buying Bitcoin may be one of the solutions.

In some countries student debt is a political problem that is being exploited well before elections. Teaching students about the economy, the importance of saving, investing, and bitcoin may relieve these debts in addition to other roles that governments can play.
1202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Robert Kennedy Jr bought each of his 7 kids 2 BTC each! on: July 27, 2023, 09:22:21 AM
We are talking about investments in the range of a million dollars, it does not represent much, but it may be a good sign for everyone who has money that he does not need or is rich trying to put 1% of his net worth in bitcoin, the collapse of the price will not pose a threat to him and 2 bitcoins for his children may mean a beautiful house after 20  years or even shorter, depending on who wants to buy and the price of bitcoin.

The optimal bet would be to buy 2.625 bitcoins. However, a bet of 2 bitcoins is not bad either. Why do you think Robert Kennedy Jr. bought each child exactly 2 bitcoins, not 1 or 3?
He said that he got a check after the Bitcoin conference, perhaps the value of the check was equal to that amount, or that he bought those coins at an average price of 25k, and therefore 2 bitcoins is 50k.

Imagine if all the world's population put 1% of their wealth into Bitcoin, here we would say that the game has changed.
1203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why this Altcoin called Worldcoin could have a huge potential? on: July 27, 2023, 09:03:17 AM
Thanks for sharing the information, I looked it up and found good articles in the Washington Post, Reuters and many news agencies which is a good thing not found in most altcoins.
Their ecosystem looks promising, but since the currency is based on the Ethereum blockchain and needs a bridge, I think it will have limited value.
The scary thing is that the total supply is 10,000,000,000 WLD, which may not make it maintain levels above one dollar, so it is better to wait a little and invest at any point below one dollar, which may be good.

https://worldcoin.org/open-source

Do not invest a lot of money in it, and it is better that the percentage not exceed 1%.

This is not investment advice.

1204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto EGG Meme Run to $1 on: July 27, 2023, 08:45:28 AM
well, no one thought Shiba or Pepe would go over 1B but here we are.

Just wanted to let you guys know.
This is an illogical comparison. It is like saying that one of the rich people opened a Lamborghini showroom and increased his wealth. Why should I not do that? There is no comparison between EGG Meme and Shiba or Pepe except that they are meme coins.
We have hundreds of failed models, why not compare it to them?

it's a reason to join the scam project like that, with the naked eye it can be seen that they have nothing to offer except sweet promises.

I agree you have to be more careful with memecoin projects, especially with projects that clearly say they will give you multiple times the profit, that is a ruse.
Sometimes greed cancels logical thinking, you tell people 10 times the profit in a guaranteed way and tell them stories of people who got rich from Shiba or Pepe hoping they will believe your story.Unfortunately, if one project succeeds in increasing its market capacity, all projects will exploit this success as if it were their own.
1205  Economy / Reputation / Re: 10 Years on: July 27, 2023, 07:43:20 AM
Congrats! Continuing for 10 years is something to be proud of. You were active in 2013 and 2014. I would like you to tell us your experience, especially since during that period a large part of people lost their confidence in Bitcoin and it turned into a failed investment instead of a high-risk asset.
I hope you celebrate 30 years, long life, health and wellness.
1206  Other / Meta / Re: Merit source and top merit earners on: July 27, 2023, 07:30:17 AM
It's one of the few posts where all the forum members agree that they are against @OP's idea.
Merit sources were chosen in a central way, their efforts are voluntary and they are not allowed to sell merit points so they have a kind of independence and the whole system is transparent and monitored which prevents obvious abuse and no merit source has been reported that sold a his merits.

You can hate a member or put you in them ignore list, this can be for 10, 20 or even 50, but If most of the merit sources do not want to see your posts, then the problem is with you.
1207  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bundle exchange announces their cease of operation on: July 26, 2023, 10:13:05 AM
I am afraid that if something happens to Binance, 1/3 of the platforms that we know and that work as an interface that runs the Binance API in the background will disappear, not to mention all the risks that occur, because your data is now known by more than one party, and one of these parties may sell it or try to misuse it, so it is good to see Such platforms are closing even though the Bitcoin winter is in its final days, and we will witness a significant growth in such platforms over the next two years.

It's an opportunity to try out decentralized exchanges.
1208  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BlackRock: “The optimal BTC allocation is a large 84.9%” on: July 26, 2023, 10:05:41 AM
People tend to spend their precious things because of human love to get some luxury, so if the price of Bitcoin rises strongly, people tend to buy, and if it drops sharply, people tend to sell in the hope of reducing losses, and this is what makes Bitcoin fluctuate greatly in levels of uncertainty, which are those levels in which the price moves to a greater extent From 10% per week.

During normal trading times, Bitcoin is mined, which continues to create a quantity supplied, unless there is a corresponding amount of supply of demand, the price of Bitcoin will decrease, and here more people will tend to buy, and so on until there is a parity in the price.

These things will make everyone not keep all of the bitcoin, but rather a part of it, and thus the continuity of trading.
1209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A neighbor next door on: July 26, 2023, 09:51:30 AM
The popular saying that it is easy to hide illegal activities using Bitcoin is wrong, especially if the amount is in the millions of dollars.
Cash is easier, more widely accepted, and it is difficult to track it. most of the drug trade is based on cash, where they can trade without being tracked, but your purchase or payment for a cryptocurrency product is recorded for life, and after 10 years, when the fraudster is caught, all buyers can be known. Which is almost impossible in the cash.

If my neighbor suggests learning bitcoin, I will learn him because he probably won't use it for most activity, or at least it won't be for large sums.
1210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto EGG Meme Run to $1 on: July 26, 2023, 09:39:17 AM
I will quote the following text:

The object of the game is hiring more miners, sooner and more often than other players. This in turn earns you more BNB faster. Hiring more miners using your daily BNB earnings will 10x your miners within 30 days or less.
A new Meme in town or a New scam coin which only gives promises that you will achieve a large profit from the investment and the return is doubled within a period of less than a month?

All cryptocurrencies that only give promises of quick profit to investors or a fixed return within a short period such as 10% per day should be dealt with with caution as a Ponzi model where you pay your money and within a short period the project disappears.
this currency is only traded on Trader Joe (Avalanche), which raises doubts about the price and available liquidity.
1211  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Pro Trader Free Analises on: July 26, 2023, 09:13:27 AM
The fact that the price fell below 30k, this does not mean that we have left the price range 28k to 32k, but rather we are testing the bottom of this range and the possibility of it being broken is small, so it is likely that we will fluctuate between 28k to 32k and there is a slight possibility of going to 26k.

Even if the price tested $26,200, there is still a strong resistance at $32,300, and therefore reaching levels of $35,000 is unlikely during Q3 of this year.

Ok i got your wanted to share your analysis of BTC but why did you shared your BTC address. Is this some new kind of scam or what. Well, don't want to offend you but i didn't understand why did you shared this address. Secondly, i think i agree with you but to some extent only. Which is, I think market is currently in correction and it might take another swing in the upcoming week.

Some traders publish their analysis and below the bitcoin address to donate if their analysis is useful, but what I see here is a general talk or most of us know it.There is no objection to adding your bitcoin address, and it is better to have it in the signatures.
1212  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [GUIDE] Technical Infrastructure for automated trading with Autoview on: July 26, 2023, 08:56:28 AM
Meanwhile i added chatGPT to my infrastructure. Even for a coding dyslexic like me it is now very easy and much faster to try some ideas and make strategies out of it.
can anyone tell me what's wrong with tradingview backtest, cause i don't believe those results?!
A PC is not designed to run 24 hours so it may need to be configured to install it on a VPS but is chatGPT something worth trying for trading?
Thanks for the info, it's the first time I've heard of Autoview, I'm going to try it and start my opinion, it seems that the setup steps are very easy.
1213  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Active members are promoting Bitcoin mixers, betting or casino. Lmao. on: July 26, 2023, 08:07:45 AM
Just joined BitcoinTalk forum and I must say, I'm quite surprised to see that it has turned into a place where 50% of the forum active members are promoting Bitcoin mixers, betting or casinos. Was hoping for more discussions on the technology and its possibilities.
Is there a signature campaign promoting something other than mixers, casinos, altcoins that seems useful? If it is, and even if the return from it is low, I expect that more people will try to join it, but gambling campaigns, mixers, and casinos almost represent about 90% of the active campaigns that pay in bitcoins, and you rarely find different campaigns, but the campaigns do not force users to do a specific thing, for example Do not force them to promote their services within the posts or modify the style of participation in line with the campaign.
1214  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Obtaining legitimate wallets to try and crack them? on: July 26, 2023, 07:38:55 AM
I've been toying with the idea of putting some spare 3090's to work and cracking wallets with hashcat. However, I'm unfamiliar with how to obtain wallets. I see some sites that "sell" them, but I'm weary they may be scams. Are there resources/groups I can contact where I can offer to try and crack a wallet?
Trying to crack wallets with a balance with a password that can be guessed, or at least knowing part of it, with the ease of predicting these words, is the only possible way, but the owner of such wallets will not sell them on the Internet for $ 100, while he can get more if he sends them to a specialized wallets restore team. all wallets that are sold on the Internet are scam or not worth the trouble of trying to find out the private key.

you can provide recovery wallet services that provide the ability to crack passwords with some complex conditions but such service are managed by people who have good experience in this field and are reliable. even if you try to create such a service, you will not find much support. You are burning your money in a losing project.
1215  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ⚠️ Freewallet: the scam project that threatens thousands of customers on: July 23, 2023, 09:00:15 AM
In fact, those who are new to the crypto market, try to find the easiest way, and this move leads them to big losses. And Google's search results often lead them to the wrong direction, like if you search "Free bitcoin wallet" on Google, then the first result that comes is the website address of Freewallet. So people who use this wallet are not really that experienced about how the wallet works.
Why Google didn't give any warning signs about this wallet, even though Musk warned about it, and therefore if they wanted to protect investors, they could easily put a warning signal in front of the wallet link, just as it was happening in the fake articles about Covid-19.

I don't know what is the standard for closing accounts with them but you can't trust that your money is safe because you can't extract the private key and at the same time they can steal your money and claim that your account is closed.

How will they generate profits if it is a free closed source wallet?
1216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons to be attracted to Bitcoin on: July 23, 2023, 08:20:43 AM
This could be the reason for beginners, and that all these currencies are counterfeit copies of Bitcoin and do not have real technical development. It is like buying a fake global brand. It is true that it is cheap, but it will not be at the global brand price. You will find that the owners or sellers of that brand claim that it is original, but all they do is deceive investors to steal their money.

Therefore, the number of real cryptocurrencies is less than 100, those that have fundamental differences, and the rest are worthless duplicates.
1217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin foundation on: July 23, 2023, 08:16:06 AM
It reminds me of saying, why don't we collect 10 dollars from each individual and give it to a group of people and thus a part of the poor becomes rich, or why the government does not distribute the gross national income to individuals and get 1000 dollars for each individual.

If we say that the average income in most countries is $3,000 per month and many countries are below this line, you will find that the chance that millions of people will buy 2 bitcoins is slim. if people stop selling, it is like the tokens, which have a price of 30,000 dollars, and you cannot sell them.
1218  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you make text a web link on: July 23, 2023, 03:28:40 AM

1219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Breaking FUD magazine is now also available in German! 🇩🇪 on: July 23, 2023, 03:16:39 AM
Sometimes showing the facts as they are is a reason to avoid people using technology. If you tell people that your phones can spy on you, that companies sell your data, etc., no one will buy those products, but lying is the worst thing that can happen.
Those who defend Bitcoin lie in not explaining the risks and that it is a safe investment that will make you rich, which is absolutely inaccurate and a lie.
I'll read the magazine when I have some time, thanks for sharing.
1220  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could Bitcoin's Price dump to Halving? on: July 23, 2023, 03:08:44 AM
All options are available, but it is not inevitable that we are at a distance from the prices of 30k as it represents the theoretical bottom of Bitcoin, which is expected to remain at it for a long time.
The worst thing that could happen is that we are near the levels of $15,000, which is currently unexpected.

The display of images made by PlanB on their Twitter account @100trillionUSD is also interesting to note because there are several assessment models raised such as assessments based on time, S2F-ratio, utxo, and difficulty.

I was a fan of this model, but it has become inaccurate or invalid now, the predictions it makes are based on the first years of Bitcoin's development, which will inevitably be faster than the later years, so the values will be very extreme.
