may i humbly suggest 2FA such as google authenticator ? I'm sure it's already in the pipeline but security is always # 1 imho.

just my 2 sats Wink

what about your account page such as payout address or cash out ?

also to keep hackers away or they may think again because of added security. well again, it's just my 2 sats. better to be safe than sorry & coluld be an added advantage for the operator that may reduce headache for them in the future as the pool grows.

Why add 2 factor authorization for mining? Most pools don't even require passwords. Or is there some new exploit that I haven't heard of yet?

Totally cool and great idea, thanks!
Question: If a miner wins once then is automatically ruled out for the next day giveaway round, or she/he/it keeps participating?
Appreciated.

My Best,

Ron.

Winners get to keep participating! The accounts we use for our own internal mines are not eligible obviously as that's no fun and defeats the purpose! We want to reward early supporters and earn a little goodwill and loyalty!

There's a lot of fun things we're rolling out this year... We're all pretty excited about it.

so far so good just past 12hrs. like the interface n responsiveness. u have my support !!!

let's start to hit some blocks.

Bitmain in case of RMA asking to put value 10$ so be nice to us BMAN and do the same....

lol, and again lol! if bitmain ask this they must start to do it on all of orders placed by us.

This is what i did receive from someone here in forum:

.....HI,

Please keep heatsink in your hand and just return the bad hash board to below address using our UPS account: R7xxxx, make sure to describe it as "Warranty part, gateway board" and declared value as "$10"

Please mark your name and order ID in the package.

Contact: Gao xxxxxxx

Tel: 86 xxxxxxxxxxx......

Sorry not trolling just saying

Thx for digging that out.... Bitmain please take note. Do the same for us. At least a reasonable value instead of full value. Usd 50-100 seems a fair value as computer accessories.

$10 is not an unreasonable value for a DEFECTIVE board, but declaring a low value for a NEW product is not exactly apples-to-apples.

Didn't I mentioned reasonable & not 10usd.  And also referring to posts above... Bitmain themselves are not declaring the item price correctly.  We buy using btc & there is no usd value in their website.  Also declaring the item properly such as computer accessories  so that custom clearance will be much easier  for many other countries.

Many get slapped with taxes ranging 10-30%. Those lucky ones not getting slapped with that please stop trolling &  talk crap also miners getting stucked @ customs cos they don't know which category it falls under.

Just a small request not begging.  If Bitmain cares about loyal supporters &  customers, imo they should at least consider such small request from a buyer who wants to purchase more than 50 units.

sorry to really bug here in the forum, may i ask from previous experiences, what is the miner declared as ?

mining computer ? bitcoin machine ? computer accessories ? personal computer ? etc etc ...

trying to figure it out & apply for import permit from customs to avoid any delays & future orders as i do intend to order 50 or more units very soon.
1317  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANN: BITMAIN has Tested Its 28nm Bitcoin Mining Chip BM1382 on: July 01, 2014, 03:09:48 PM
Thanks Bitmain for your reply,
So you are saying that each package will have its own invoice. If that's the case, then orders of 2 x S3s should still be each S3 packaged with its own single value on its customs note.

Edit, sorry, I would have thought that package type, or single packages need individual invoices, therefore separate values from any of the other 100 or so packages coming into customs.

Or are you stating that even if we order 100 separate packages to the single shipping address, all the values of the combined packages add up for import tax purposes?

regardless of packaging, Bitmain will still declare at full value as replied back to me .. my question is, how are they gonna declare it as the s3 are now sold in btc & not in usd value.

come on bitmain, i think you can do declare it at a lower value (cost/actual) & not full sales value !

can't recall thread but there were people who sent miners back to you for rma/repair and they were asked to declare it at usd10 !!!

why cant bitmain declare it at usd 50 to buyers then ?

customs clearance will be a real hassle by then for buyers. increased cost & lesser chance to ROI then how to sell more miners ?

i hope many will vote & request bitmain to look into customs declaration.

I think if Bitmain was a mom/pop type operation working from his/hers garage you could ask them to declare $10 but when you are running a multi-million dollar business I am not sure if they would take a chance.

somewhere in the forum i did read that bitmain asked customers to declare it at usd 10 value for rma/repair purposes !

not to say usd 10 but at least at a reasonable value such as usd 50-100 or 300 max.
1318  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANN: BITMAIN has Tested Its 28nm Bitcoin Mining Chip BM1382 on: July 01, 2014, 03:08:11 PM
At $1000 Tax value at UK customs - Not worth me even making an order anymore - The higher you tax an item harder it is to pass customs.

Bitmain should allow the buyer to have some input on the value at least for the EU or UK!!

yeah... well sorry for creating any trouble to BM but it is for loyal supporters (if i did, i'd like to apologize) but at least at a reasonable value such as usd 100 or 300 ... many countries gets taxed really heavy up to 30% or more.
