again, it is up to the miner's choice where to mine, yes some debate is ok but with mr. pinoy there do show some respect to other fellow members.

chill boys, chill . . . let the miners themselves to decide for themselves. very simple test & i believe most miners have at least 2 or more miners available.

just test it for a couple of days (to be fair to whichever pool that you're comparing to) & make your own decision.

so far PPS is a huge risk to operators but that would not affect the miners that much but the good thing about PPS is that you get paid instantly couple of times a day or more (depending on your settings).

PPLNS does pays well or VERY well sometimes when the "luck" streak comes along but still have to wait for a block to confirm then only get paid.

PPS , get paid fast and constantly, get to use btc whenever needed ie price is good wanting to sell quick or to purchase something, etc

PPLNS , get paid slower, if in a hurry to use btc, you may not get it quick enough.

pros & cons, chicken & egg, let miners decide themselves.
1148  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer S5 ? on: November 10, 2014, 06:24:49 AM
Lets hope the S5 lets them drop the price on the S3s then.

yay ! +1

but logically thinking, there are at least or around 100 units S3 B11 available for sale & "stucked S4's too & now S5's ?

hmmmmm

You sir are the reason why Children should not attempt this industry. If you are not 13 or still in high school, I feel bad for you. You have no understanding of business economics, and even less understanding on how to run a profitable mining pool. Please save yourself farther embarrassment and stop posting uneducated answers.

You need to learn a lot before you post such ridiculous and, i am sorry, but STUPID answers.

what i sense in you is a disgruntled teenager who was hoping to get an S3 but was never chosen as a winner and now is posting all he can in an attempt to tarnish a reputation. Sorry but that is what your post is screaming behind the scenes.
It seems you are unaware that DrHaribo is a respected and experienced mining software writer and pool operator that has been here with the bitcoin community for a long time. I suggest you reconsider what you just said in light of that fact.

anyone experiencing low hashrates ? i'm getting about 10% lower than normal even after trying multiple different settings after many hours of tests.

If you mean on the BAN pool then no my hash rate and payout have been very stable. At first I thought I was seeing a drop in my payouts because after the difficulty change it seemed it was a day and a half later before I seen the drop But it looks normal for the change.

i asked about hashrate NOT payouts aurel & most know that payouts do get slightly delayed sometimes when the "hot" wallet runs dry.

below is a screenshot of my 2nd dc that i just copy & pasted couple mins ago. all miners are identical & they're 1.5ths each. but most of them are hashing lower than normal Huh been scratching my head for sometime with various settings as i mentioned earlier too.

here's the weird part, but when i mine at other pools, the hashrates are pretty close to normal except @ BAN & Nicehash which we all know about.

had intentions to buy many of these but very poor reply & consider myself lucky that i did not jump into the bandwagon. good luck to those who bought but may change my mind if there are major improvements.
1160  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] NiceHash.com - sell & buy hash rate cloud mining service / multipool on: November 07, 2014, 01:22:57 AM
i have many miners SHA256 (+/- 50) connected to NH or WH (both yielded same results) via stratum proxy but i am always seeing a much lower reporting hashrates approx. 10% or lower most of the time. let's say i have 50 ths all pointed to NH but in stats page i see 45 ths or less. i do see close to 50ths sometimes but rarely. 10% lower is pretty often. sometimes there are some rejected hashrates and sometimes none but still lesser that 50 ths.

before i wasn't using proxy i did ask a similar question  before but was told using proxy would improve. still the same. Huh
