881  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] HaoBTC, mining dividend paid out hourly on: June 06, 2015, 06:48:07 AM
Made a withdrawal request 16 hrs ago. It says pending & still pending. Btc have not been sent out yet. Before service is really fast but seems to be slacking.
Just PMed.

replied, thx for the prompt response as always Wink that i really give you & haobtc a +1.

I was told that the transfer has been processed - it was caused by human error. All the transfers are processed manually. I think because more people are using our service now our team is a bit stressed by the increased workload.

it worked & it's pushed out.

that's what i thought of, manual processing.

once again thx, for the quick response & solved the issue within a short period of time.

Made a withdrawal request 16 hrs ago * time is UTC +8*. It says pending & still pending. Btc have not been sent out yet. Before service is really fast but seems to be slacking.

that causes a lose-lose situation.

1. i make less interest since the withdrawal is pending

- will there be compensation for interest lost  if "x" amount of time has passed

2. receiver do not receive the btc sent from my account making it very inconvenient for both parties thus may create a "trust" issue between sender & receiver

3. the sender "misses" an opportunity to sell the btc in order to make a profit at that particular point of time

i am not trying to create a fuss or fud, definitely NOT intending to do so. Understood that haobtc is relatively new & trying to improve.

I hope all this small issues can be ironed out ASAP.

All the 3 situation has happened to me 3 times *this is 3rd* & they were responded to & solved fairly quickly. i hope the ddos attack on 好btc is being sorted out too.

I have also recommended friends to join & without questioning me he/she deposited 10 btc instantly. Do not wish to give myself a bad name & the repo going down the drain.

Thanks for mining Unobtanium. mm was released last month, and hash is still pretty low for Uno. Great time to get into it. The Uno community thanks you.

Hi FK,

Thank you for making UNO available to p2pool merge miners  Wink  It's a good coin with a great community - always nice to see a dev who contributes to the community.....

I'm currently working on an updated p2pool set-up guide for noobs, as previous ones are now a little outdated - git repo's especially, and will include UNO & all other available merge mined coins in an effort to attract more miners to p2pool, as well as increase UNO hash rate  Smiley

thx for the contribution ! looking fwd to the updated versions.

links & a quickie fo rUNO will be a good start for existing pool operators ?

i'm trying while waiting, hope i got it right ... using the same way as in other merge mining.

891  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1500 TH] p2pool: Decentralized, DoS-resistant, Hop-Proof pool on: June 01, 2015, 10:32:42 PM
I'm not getting any incoming peers. I am forwarding port 9333 on my NAT router. That's correct, right?

8333 - bitcoin
9332-9333 - p2pool
7333 - nmc

make sure they not running, restart after port forward & it should work ....
892  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1500 TH] p2pool: Decentralized, DoS-resistant, Hop-Proof pool on: June 01, 2015, 06:04:34 AM
Are there any plans to release a new version of p2pool?

not that i know of but it'll be good if there's any improvement.

btw, c'mon guys, let's bump it up. due for blocks ! i've been bumping it last 2 days but running out of btc Sad
893  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory - Discussion Thread on: May 31, 2015, 10:47:50 PM
hi guys may i know what is the difference between :

TxOut Script Type:  Standard (P2SH)

&

TxOut Script Type:  Standard (PKH)

i made a payout from my wallet to 2 different btc add but 1 of the Tx Script Type is P2SH & the other is PKH

tia

It's a "nuts & bolts" difference that a vast majority of Bitcoin users need not care about. Armory handles all that behind the scenes unless a user must, for whatever reasons, send coins using P2SH or PKH. If you're still curious, look up scripts and the five "standard" script types.

thx Wink

897  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1500 TH] p2pool: Decentralized, DoS-resistant, Hop-Proof pool on: May 28, 2015, 02:34:17 PM
NMC port is 7333 others not sure as NMC is the only coin worth merge mining now but any extras is still an income Wink
898  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Transaction not accepted on: May 28, 2015, 02:32:02 PM
btw, i'm not sure if anyone knows or have tried it but yes you can run your p2pool with armory running.

Careful when doing this, Armory has a habit of deciding that bitcoin.conf needs to be overwritten completely, replacing all your bitcoind parameters with a brand new RPC password and nothing else. This may screw with your p2pool-ing, depends how much you rely on those settings, particularly having a (known) RPC password (also, a default value for maxconnnections affects stale rate significantly).

Turn off auto bitcoind management and Armory will ignore bitcoin.conf entirely

can't find menu to turn off auto bitcoind mgmt ... Huh where is it located ? using windows.
899  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Transaction not accepted on: May 28, 2015, 04:20:02 AM
hi guys,

sorry for the late reply. the problem seems to be solved. i think it is the transaction fee(s). I think i have sent the btc with less or no transaction fee & bitcoind did not accept it.

i've also got a reply from the armory team via email. would like to say thx again for helping out.

it's all working well now.

btw, i'm not sure if anyone knows or have tried it but yes you can run your p2pool with armory running.

The node is listed by the ip 207.105.189.40 not the url for some reason.

could be your ddns settings or services ....

btw, my node & i think some others did not record recent block # 358029 Found 2015-05-26 00:06:07 by 182xf7oE44H4G3NGSME76B3DGRLf7Ej1B6
* it's on windpath's pool stats block history*

Last recent block # 358009 is shown but not the the one stated above Huh but of course a payout was received.

in the meanwhile, let the blocks cont to roll in !!!
