ok got windows version running, now how to mod the interface ? i found some nice ones on git but don't really know how to add/implement it.

1125  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: S3+ (BM1382) Overclocking with voltage setting on: December 04, 2014, 11:18:49 PM
nice info ! very low HW for such high OC n my guess would be the freezing temps you have. tbh, not advised to go that high if one cannot get enough cold temps as the chip temp will soar high hence more hw, prolly some x's or dashses - , fan spinning at higher rpm = not efficient, higher rate of failures, higher power consumption but wth it's at 1 own risk.

op, i'm not trying to spoil the thread but just my honest opinions nevertheless it's a good research n experience op is sharing with the community.

be warned oc at your own risk Wink

peace.

Hi,
bogard posted this:

I have the same problem like you. Two Plugs are burnt. Did you manage it to replace them?
If you did, can you please send me where you bought the Plugs. Cant't find any reseller for female soldering PCIe power connectors.

Thank you very much

use a small screwdriver to dig out the melted plastic carefully then replace pcie cable, it should hash again. advise is to set it to power save mode and gets u about 960ghs or so. improve cooling too.

1129  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: 1Th/s bitcoin miner, 864 Hardware Errors and speed fluctuating. on: December 01, 2014, 09:11:32 PM
try to set your difficulty in miner to 512 or 1024 but i'd suggest 512 and it should improve in speeds & hw errors.

does anyone have the latest guide for making own p2pool on linux ? tried some others dont seem quite to work

Are you using the script or installing everything manually?

used the script provided here http://bitcoin.kyros.info/ but then i get stuck right at the end :

Connecting to bitfetch.com (bitfetch.com)|176.9.50.103|:443...

Yeah, I'm not sure if the links still work as it's no longer being updated or maintained. Suggest you do the set-up manually instead?

yeps, learning still especially linux ... looking for a noob proof guide
