501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MZC][SHA-256] MAZACOIN *First Sovereign Currency* ANDROID WALLET AVAIL.!! on: March 11, 2014, 03:57:25 AM
Here is a Lakota charity that I made a $10 donation to just now and sent them an email about Maza asking them to add a donation wallet address to their website. Send them a donation or email, if they add the address, send them some MZC. The worst that could possibly happen from this type of 'investment' is that they sell it all immediately and people in need get some proper food.

We need to show all Lakotas that the people behind Maza aren't out for a quick profit, we'd like to see this succeed and help people who need it. Dig deep people, and find some other charities that serve this community.

Also, email local radio and papers. Lets help get the word out and share some MZC with the only people who can really make it work.

The goal is to get every Lakota related website to have a Maza address. Heck I'd donate to a local gas station if the owner puts Maza on his website.

Its a charitable Airdrop, lets just do this. Prove you're a believer. Think of the news and trust we can generate if we pulled this off!

Here is the non-profit I donated to and contacted:
https://www.naha-inc.org/contact-us/

Here is the message I sent them if you need inspiration:
Hi I hope I can have just a minute of your time - just made a donation by paypal. . .

If you haven't heard, there is a new virtual currency like Bitcoin with the intent of being a national sovereign currency for Lakotas. A federal reserve of this currency will be dispersed to Lakota individuals and businesses. Another reserve will be held by tribe leadership.

I am a bitcoin enthusiast and I see great potential in virtual currencies to free all people from needlessly imposed poverty. My hope is that Lakotas, because of their sovereign status and respect for the environment, could set an example for the rest of the world with their own successful sovereign currency.

The bitcoin community has a history of being generous and supporting new usages of the technology. I think if you were to add a wallet address for Mazacoin donations to your website, you would receive donations internationally. There are many busy forums with people from all around the world discussing Mazacoin and hoping it succeeds. The hope is that it brings prosperity for Lakotas - and sets an example for people everywhere on how to be free of a faulty global banking system.

I'm posting your link in a busy forum, I'm quite sure you'd get a lot of response if I could tell people you accept Mazacoin donations as well. Its not hard to set up and share an address for donations.

One, one hundred, one thousand remistevens!!
The idea of the maza address for any website is great, that's the way

Cool, thanks!

I'm prepared to make it even more interesting. I'll send 200MZC to the first 10 Lakota related existing websites that put a Maza donation address on their site. All they need is to put the address up, explain that its for donations and someone needs to post the link here. 200 for the the first 10! (exception: price skyrockets and someone steals all my coins somehow, your link doesn't look like an already existing Lakota website or the website isn't based from something on the reservations). Link can be to a business, group, charity, school, you name it. . . I'm making this commitment publicly, any other offers to up the ante?

Sorry I know its not a huge amount, but its what I can afford, hoping for support. . .

Feel free to share this post with anyone you might talk to on the reserves.

here is a couple remi

These are excellent! Thank you. Would someone like to send any of these charities a nice message about Mazacoin and hopefully also a small donation in USD as a show of good faith?

You can donate to the Faucet  http://www.mazafaucet.tk/   Wink

Don't get me wrong, I am a big fan of faucets also. But if MZC wants the type of value AUR is experiencing there has to money going to the right people. Faucets get crypto people involved, but what can make Maza special is getting Lakotas involved. Maybe if you had a faucet that could only be accessed on the reserve. . . .

Help out mazacoin, email Lakotas and offer donations. I just sent this email to this Lakota publication (editor and owner in the link), anyone else have good contacts to email?

http://www.lakotacountrytimes.com/common/Front_Page/Contact_Us.html

"Hi I am a bitcoin enthusiast and I'd like to donate to your publication and community. There is a new bitcoin style virtual currency that has been created for the Lakota nation. http://www.mazacoin.org/ It is my belief that people everywhere will be better off with their own sovereign currencies and I think the Lakota people could be world leaders in that regard.

I'm also firmly opposed to oil pipelines and I appreciate that message on your news feed and support all action against environmental destruction.

What I'm hoping for is your help in creating a means for me and other bitcoin enthusiasts to donate to Lakotas in Mazacoin (the new currency). I haven't got a lot to give, but I'd be willing to donate a little to local charities, groups and publications if there was a donation button on their websites.

Any thoughts or help with this is appreciated!"

So , the Lakota community doesn't have a clue about it but still , this coin is promoted as:

"Its the National Currency of the Traditional Lakota Nation"

Yep, just launched recently. So it still needs our help getting the message out. We need to let all Lakotas know this exists and get them on board.

So that statement in the OP is what can be called fake advertising , right?

This is the one and only national coin created for the Lakotas, where is the trickery in that? Its not fake anything, that's what it is and that's why they have a national reserve.

no one is advertising anything in calling it a national coin, you're just looking at this as though its some sort of product for you to buy and sell.

But you make me think that I should have mentioned the national reserve also, so they know the stake their people already have in the coin.

Here's an idea, anyone know of a good list of Lakota publications, institutions and leaders? Email addresses of the chiefs maybe? I'd be willing to email their local papers, leaders, institutions and such offering donations of MZC if they put a donation button on their websites. There seem to be many of us, we could flood the whole community with emails offering small donations!....That way we both help raise awareness in their community and disperse some more MZC to Lakotas - which is key to its success. It would also be an incredible gesture from the crypto community to help enable this obvious pairing with the Lakotas. Lets help build the trust.

After all the nature of this coin is charitable right? Its to help an impoverished people. We should all be happy to give a little outright.

The amount mined per day isn't auto sold, miners can hold too. There is no number for how many need to be bought vs mined to maintain price. People with coins don't sell, and others are interested, price goes up - its pretty simple.

511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Fastcoin - FST - The Fastest coin so far in the market - is launched!! on: March 10, 2014, 03:23:13 PM
Hey fastcoin fans, I've been a silent admirer and investor for some time.

I wanted to make a video for Fastcoin to help with promotion. I think the name, marketing and quick confirmations here are all great selling points. Is it still officially the fastest stable coin on the market? - man am I ever having trouble keeping up with so many new coins. . . .

Anyways, here is the script I've prepared so far.

"Fastcoin! The fastest coin on the market! Fastcoin is an open sourced, fully decentralized, crypto currency popular with miners, investors and merchants. Fastcoin is the fastest blocking litecoin clone. Speed is essential to retail, fastcoin transactions are confirmed in under 12 seconds – think of the conveinience at the store checkout!  Fastcoin had a fair launch that eliminated instamining, this isn't a “new this week” coin. You can trust by now that its definitely fair and dependable for everyone. Its also a great coin for newcomers: it has low difficulty, a great name and piece of mind from the quick confirmations. The coin is actively developed and supported; got a question or suggestion, Fastcoin enthusiasts are eager to help. Stop waiting and start trading, get fastcoins in your wallet today!"

Let me know what you think.

Here is a sample of my work, a vid I made for Riecoin (gets 500-1000 views per day)

do you think its a good idea to invest 170btc in this coin now?
i am young and i would like to be rich as fuck Grin

If that was my BTC i would invest about 100 btc in mazacoin, its the second coin after bitcoin with so much press/media around the world, its an official currency, the FIRST in Cryptohistory with a lot of mining power about 5-10% of bitcoin right now.
Also the Devs working every hour on this coin and promote it around the world.

I think the price go in 1 month from now 2.000 Satoshi to minimum 100.000 Satoshi.

There is NO other Altcoin with so much potencial like Mazacoin, and its soooooo cheap in this second, in the next hours it can be cost the double or more who knew it.  Wink

There is one coin with more potential than MZC at least: Bitcoin. Always keep more BTC than others.
513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ██[MZC] MazaCoin - National Currency - now @ RussiaToday, Independent, Telegraph on: March 10, 2014, 01:26:40 PM
devs mining their own coin is evidence of scam? - Yea who would support their own venture, that's ludicrous?

Beautiful thing about an instamine, if that actually happened, once its sold off the problem is gone. So if that happened - great, whatever. Its completely irrelevant to anyone looking to buy Maza now. Glad to hear those funds were dispersed and the dev no longer has a stake in Maza - perfect. The resolution to the 'problem' is contained in the statement.
514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ██[MZC] MazaCoin - National Currency - now @ RussiaToday, Independent, Telegraph on: March 10, 2014, 01:17:47 PM
Every dev, unless their morons, would promote their coin and ask people to buy/invest. Its the whaling bastards that pull the rug out and make massive dumps. A dev that does that from a premine might be able to get away with selling a fraction of it once, but then its goodbye reputation and future profitability.

Nobody has sold any of Maza premine, there is no scam evident here whatsoever.

515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ██[MZC] MazaCoin - National Currency - now @ RussiaToday, Independent, Telegraph on: March 10, 2014, 01:13:54 PM
The rug is still firmly under Maza. Premine is still there, everything is as expected. The price went down from a big spike, that's all that's happened people. Don't freak out.
516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ██[MZC] MazaCoin - National Currency - now @ RussiaToday, Independent, Telegraph on: March 10, 2014, 01:12:39 PM
Everyone has to experience it themselves.

No one would ever have to experience it as much if whales weren't making money off lying cheating and scamming future bag holders. No matter what, at the end of the day it is you guys who pump coins up to insane levels and then pull the rug out from everyone, not the devs.

Yes!
517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / George Carlin Coin on: March 10, 2014, 12:55:58 PM
If someone comes out with this, I'm happy to assist with marketing and videos. Seems an obvious fit to me. Carlin was ahead of his time as a dissenting individual and is well respected among the right types of people who would back Bitcoin and decentralization.

Carlin's ideas are universal and lasting, lets have a coin that shows him the same respect.

Sorry, wish I was a dev and could actually create this.
518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ██[MZC] MazaCoin - National Currency - now @ RussiaToday, Independent, Telegraph on: March 10, 2014, 12:47:49 PM
'official' - 'first'

In what world does the word official mean first?
Seriously, when have you ever seen official used in that sense?

The concept is as old as human life. First guy to walk somewhere new puts down a flag to make it official.

Didn't coke call themselves the official drink of summer at some point? Somebody did. I don't agree that it shouldn't be used that way, but it is. Advertisers have been destroying our language for many many years. Using official to denote first is perfectly reasonable and by no mean evidence of trickery.

I guess there will NEVER be an official currency of someone dead or a country/people that no longer exists?

Protip: use of all bolded or enlarged text usually denotes a strong sense of desparation for attention.

I suggest you all put herp, and whatever other false fud spreading trolls on ignore.  This thread will be a much better place once they realize they're just talking to each other and their lives no longer served a purpose.
+ 1  i already put him on ignore i am not sure what his motive is but he made his points i dont understand why he doesnt move on. for 2 days page after page is him and someone fighting about scam or not. i come here to this thread to catch up on any new developments because i am invested and all u find is page after page with his rants.  Angry

Just bitter guys who have nothing better to do with their time. Aka forum trolls.  It's funny, because they bitch and moan even more than the people who actually bought maza at a higher price.

In any case, I'll keep contributing to this thread if the re-quoting of these losers stops.  But if you guys keep feeding them, then I'll just stick to investing silently behind the scenes, as this thread clearly won't go anywhere if you give them the attention they so desperately seek.

In all honestly, at this point I think it'd be better to just create a new official thread from an active contributor so you can mute/delete any posts from these guys.  As it stands now, they're just rambling on because there's no moderation, just like kids free to play when mommy ain't home.

People new to the thread don't know the history immediately or the strange perseverance. In one way or another the effort seems to be to keep "scam", dev silent, lies deceit very recent in the thread.
520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: rumors of up and coming big MazaCoin Pump? any news? on: March 09, 2014, 06:25:12 PM
Volume remains very very high all over. Usually after high volume during a big dump, things would slow down to a trickle. The fact that Maza tanked, but then maintains crazy volume at the low price is not ordinary - at least from what I've seen. So yea, I'd say something is up and I just bought some more!
