if the entire project is not open source no one who understands security will ever take it seriously

We are all perfectly aware of that. It will be open sourced when it's finished.

Open sourcing it now doesn't even benefit the clueless shitcoin jokedevs, much less the idiots who keep dropping money on their fairytale crap with vague promises that one day the shitcoin dev will figure out how to use github or something.

Over the next few weeks, you will likely get one of these

 Grin
Who says you can't have a bit of harmless fun while watching a $1bn project unfold?

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Yep - Its starting to catch on that bitcoin isnt private at all - and even the bolt on solutions that were created are not secure either.

More and more people are realising that an independent solution is what's required (Darkcoin). bitcoin will never fork to introduce privacy, the risk is too high. Bitcoin for public ledger transactions, Darkcoin for all other!

All it will take is a website to start capturing business addresses where you can enter someone's bitcoin address and uncover their entire history of spending. Smiley

Just read the article and I really like Kristov Atlas, he seams to know his stuff. I nominate him to be the third code reviewer

So the dream team I would like to see
If they would review the code would be:

Greg Maxwell
Andreas Antonopoulos
Kristov Atlas

What do you all think ?

I don't know if Andreas and Kristov are actual programmers?  But I certainly respect both of them Smiley
Yeah that was what I was thinking they are both well know and respected in this space.
Kristov has a B.S. and M.S. degrees in Computer Science, independent security researcher and security consultant
and Andreas well there is a whole site about his awesomeness here http://antonopoulos.com/

Greg Maxwell
Andreas Antonopoulos
Kristov Atlas Maybe

Gavin (Mr) Andersen (The One)
Satoshi Nakamoto

Bitfinex trades on bitcoinwisdom hidden pages

DRK/BTC -> https://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/bitfinex/drkbtc

DRK/USD -> https://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/bitfinex/drkusd

DRK/BTC is no longer "hidden" on bitcoinwisdom (Mintpal)

Cryptsy -> https://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/cryptsy/drkbtc

It would be great if someone can host all 4 major charts on a single page/w multiple panes  Grin

You'd have to play with the iframe sizes, but that is really easy. Save this as a .html file and open it in your browser

Code:
<html>
<body>
<iframe width="400" height="400" src="https://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/bitfinex/drkbtc"></iframe>
<iframe width="400" height="400" src="https://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/bitfinex/drkusd"></iframe>
<iframe width="400" height="400" src="https://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/cryptsy/drkbtc"></iframe>
<iframe width="400" height="400" src="https://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/mintpal/drkbtc"></iframe>
</body>
</html>

Looking at it, because of how BCW is setup, you'll need a pretty large monitor for it to be that useful.

Edit: Just use the one posted above (really below) but above by predatorkill

Code:
<html>

<head>

<!-- Hi there! Donate @ Hypron.net! :) If you rip this site please give credit, thanks! -->
<meta charset="UTF-8">

<meta name=%26quot%3Bdescription%26quot%3B content="2x2 Darkcoin Chart Layout" />

.Row {display: table-row; width: 100%; height: 50%;}

.Cell {display: table-cell; overflow: hidden;}

.Cell iframe {height:107%; width:118%; border: 0px;}

</style>
</head>

<body>
<div class="Table">
<div class="Row">

<div class="Cell"><iframe src="https://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/mintpal/drkbtc" seamless></iframe></div>

<div class="Cell"><iframe src="https://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/cryptsy/drkbtc" seamless></iframe></div>

</div>

<div class="Row">

<div class="Cell"><iframe src="https://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/bitfinex/drkbtc" seamless></iframe></div>

<div class="Cell"><iframe src="https://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/bitfinex/drkusd" seamless></iframe></div>

</div>

</div>
</body>

</html>

It automatically sizes to your browser and does a great job!

Its good to see the anonymity conversation moving from 'that's for money laundering' to 'Bitcoin needs to solve its privacy issues'

It would be great if someone can host all 4 major charts on a single page/w multiple panes  Grin

put this in a dark.html file and double click it: (kudos goes to an other member, he posted it hundred pages ago, cant remember his nickname).

Could enough master nodes be used to run Tor, and earn extra revenue?  Grin

How come no one from fbi.gov or nsa.gov ?

At least half of Tor is already run by the men in black. The powers that be don't give a shit about drugs and guns unless someone starts to offer them serious competition in the dealing and running of, respectively. Silk Road guy got busted because he was just too sloppy to ignore.

The PTB have their beady eyes on Darksend, I can guarantee you that - and any attempt by politicians to ban anonymous digital financial transactions will end quickly and unpleasantly for said politicians. Wink

BTC is of limited use to the powerful, DRK is a different story altogether.
