To an investor in wall street how can i explain in a single powerpoint slide why Blackcoin has bigger Market Cap than Mintcoin, they have same features. Mint was released 10 days before and is hybrid POW/POS, to an outsider they are practicaly the same
Im conducting investing rounds, i now FAST/POS is the future and i need your side of the story, for an possible investment.

Hi Gonzoucab, Seems the thread got some new trolls 8( Let me throw a few things out there... Investing in a coin is more like investing in the community. Little or no community support = dead coin. A quick check would be forums/date thread started to how many pages posted like here (feb 16 to today = 42days - 565 pages = 13.4 pages a day = quit busy), a random stop to see how many & how active irc is. Next would be liquidity, you can have a bajillion coins but if its thinly traded or theres already a long line to get out the door it aint gonna work. Again if a bajillion are minted = less rare = harder to make the price rise = less profits. IMO Blackcoin comes up Aces in all these areas. Mintcoin has massively high inflation like doge. much higher supply. Blackcoin has 1% inflation and is currently the lowest coin in the world... there are many more positives that favor blackcoin but this is really the bottom line for me. Blackcoin is the gold of the cryptoworld. good for storing wealth for long periods of time, or at least once it is more established. I see this coint at 5 dollars within 6 months, it is a coin people will notice. It is currently holding a 10 times increase from 2 weeks ago on very good volume. Get in or miss the next leg up... |

Nobody can predict anything about the future, but look at the future of other altcoins , long years of mining and inflation ahead , it does not exist for blackcoin .
Even the bitcoin is a super new thing is only is 5 years old ...
The multipools are absorbing other altcoins to inject capital into blackcoin , this will increase its market value gradually I am not the most optimistic here, but do not make some mistake , but If you are just a little realistic, the future of blackcoin is great.
Here are some of the future possibilities of blackcoin here 1 year .
1 - Imagine the price of bitcoin remains stable at $ 500.00 for an entire year (365 days) .
If we have a trading volume of 100Btc/dia in blackcoin we wil have in 1 year .
100Btc x 365 days = 36500 Btc ( $ 18,250.00 )
The market value is $ 2,402,213 Today , I'm talking about a plausible increase of 7.5x in the worst case, this value can be exponentially higher , if we keep an average of 300Btc / day, the amount rises dramatically .
300Btc x 365 days = 36500 Btc ( $ 54,750.000,00 )
Do not forget we only have $ 54,750.000,00 / 74,492,350 BC = ($ 0,73 each BC)
Blackcoin has a higher potencial its more than $ 1.00 in a couple of years.

the multipool is doing a great job, but remember that not everyone that is interested is on the multipool. I am mining direct to a pool and selling as it comes in throughout the day. I like the payouts throughout the day, not the single payment. Its more work but thats what I like. the actual hashrate mining and dumping btc into BC is least 2-3 times whatever is on the multipool, if not 5-10 times. |

tl;dr this will never happen.
Preface: I'm not saying this to hurt BlackCoin. I believe in it, am invested in it, and put my company into it.
Content: That said, there's a lot of naivete going around here, from buyers who haven't been around the crypto community very long, and I think it needs to be set right. There is no point in people getting their expectations up about this.
This card will never exist. There have been a couple attempts since 2011 to do this with Bitcoin. The closest anyone got I'm pretty sure was Charlie Shrem. Visa/MC declined to give him permission after rounds of legal back and forth. At the time that was not V/MC policy because they had no policy on it. Now it is.
Visa and Mastercard have the ultimate say over whether a certain card will be issued, and they have a lot to lose from virtual currencies. They are not going to allow a direct route for withdrawal from crypto to fiat through an ATM. It's not going to happen.
I'm not saying this to burst anyone's bubble, I'm saying it so that a bubble will not form around this idea. Because those of us who've been transacting in crypto/fiat for a long time now understand that this is completely blocked by the card companies and is not going to get off the ground.
I completely appreciate what the OP is trying to do here and applaud his enthusiasm, but prior to a conversation with the card companies this is nothing.
maybe they denied bitcoin back when it was worthless compared to now, and they didn't see it having value. Perhaps they are looking for a coin to piggy back on since bitcoin has already got to the moon? Imagine the PR visa/mastercard would get by the crypto community by authorizing not bitcoin, but blackcoin. but.... i don't have a lot of hope for this actually to be approved. |

I have not left my main wallet open for staking and still wont, incase they get stolen. But i put 2k BC in a wallet and unlocked it this morning already got 0.5BC and all of them have just gone in to stake  just open the wallet at least once every week, you will still get a good amount of staked coins  |

1) just under 75 million coins 2) you can't mine BC, only buy them on the open market. so any ASIC would be a benefit as people will mine othercoins and buy BC with them 3) only 1% inflation per year. (basically deflation) means your coins are worth more over time. (btc has 10%+ inflation per year) 4)First Proof of stake only coin that doesn't fork. |

I have been thinking about an idea for quite sometime now, and BlackCoin might be the perfect fit. Many miners do not have bank accounts and it is a pain to convert cryptocurrencies into fiat. I have an acquaintance in the financial industry and we have worked on a few projects together. He has access to some really cool financial products for corporations. I discussed this idea with him already and now I want to test the waters here and see if there will be some demand before thinking about moving forward.
If you could convert your BlackCoins into a virtual Visa/Master Card that you can use online, or even a custom physical BlackCoin Visa/Master Card for US/Canadian residents, would you guys be interested in that service? There will be a fee somewhere in the neighborhood of $7.00 - $10.00 per virtual number/card. If this is something you guys would be interested in, he could put this on fast-track for me so I can be approved and I could have something up and running quickly.
If there was strong support I would consider keeping it BlackCoin only which would force other people interested in using the service to first convert their other coins into BlackCoin.
Please let me know what you think and all feedback is welcome.
Could be good, but honestly the greatest thing about cryptos is there is no need for banks and blackcoin's strong point isn't going to be point of sale(it might be who knows). I would much rather see some kind of Blackcoin Bond or something like that. BC doesn't yet have the established based to support it, but if BC could make it to that point it would be massive news. TLDR point of sale is good but BTC does it better, lets focus on value creation >>>> bank bond denominated in BC? fuck yes ! |
