Any idea when SHA-256 will become operational in the multipools? I have been following this thread for around 125 pages or so and I don't recall reading anything about that. I apologize if this has been answered before. I am ready to point every weapon I have at the first multipool that has SHA support dev stated Sunday should be done by tuesday  As in March 25th Tuesday? If so that is wonderful news! Yes, stabilising just above 8000 with some light trading. If this consolidates and holds then I'm super bullish and the next leg up will be strong full of fresh accumulated holders/holdings.
So far this coin reads like a textbook bull market stock.
anything under 10 mil is pretty cheap as this coin could be a 500 mil coin. It's going to take weeks to get the word out though |

Feel so fucking stupid.. I was here from day one mining & renting miners etc. Got up to a total of 150K Bc's with spending around 1btc in total. Shitty times came along and I held through the 400satoshi time, but when it went to 3500, i had to sell. I didnt want to, as I had preached here 5K was cheap, 10K was lowest aim.. And look at me now, I sold a week ago. Got like 3btc, Had i kept it all now I'd get over 12btc. Fuck me. Goodluck in the future, I can't stay here, i'd kill myself when you guys reach 20-40K sat. May the future be bright.

1 USD edit: if all goes well 6 months 10$ in 12 months 200$ I am as optimistic as the next guy, but do you really think BlackCoin will reach $10 in 6 months and in 12 months reach $200? Besides 42 Coin and Bitcoin, no other coin has come close to $200 per coin. I think $10.00 in 12 months is more realistic, unless you know something I do not know? If BC gets accepted as a form of payment and is accepted at a lot of merchants then sky is the limit You have to account that bc is still "unknown". Once the big players of the LTC and BTC world realize the potential and the threat that blackcoin is it will explode. There is probably less then 20k people that know what blackcoin is. possibly less then 10k. What happens when that number is 200k? 2 million? Blackcoin is stable enough to survive primetime like litecoin and dogecoin before it. |

There is 2 lines of thought for Blackcoin
1) this coin is going up, I will buy and hold till it hits mainstream and the potential to make 100x my money
2) this coin is going up, however there are people with a ton of coins that will periodically sell and drop the market. I will sell the the same time or at high points with the hopes of accumulating more coins for the same investment.
Result >>>
1 ) almost no risk, but limited reward besides simply buying new coins.
2 ) much more risk, you may end up behind the market and giving up profit with the hops of accumulating more coins. IF you're quick you could make some good returns over 1 or you could make way less.
Either way, with no additional supply of coins, multipools becoming more stable, adding hashes and Blackcoin getting more visibility everyday, it is not a coin I will be left wondering "what if" on.
Good luck too all with whatever you pick. This is a coin-killer, don't be on the wrong end of it.

There is no fixed amount. up until I read that, you and I were on the same page. Anybody else have any idea under what circumstances would new coins be created? He means that there will be 1% proof of stake for the lifetime of the coin, which means there is no set amount of coins that can be created. So in about 75 years the total count of this coin will be double what it is now. 150 years after that it will double again etc. However this does not take into account destroyed coins or compounding interest. |

We all know that the Multipool's going to do great things for BlackCoin, once it's released. However, I don't think everyone realizes how much of a difference it's going to make. The numbers thrown out for yesterday's (March 19, 2014) mining ranged from 10GH/s to nearly 400GH/s. It's quite safe to assume that the massive dropoff near the end was caused by the frontend issues the site was having (for those that weren't there, the miner pages were entirely inaccessible for the latter portion of the "launch"). Because of that, I'm going to make a somewhat conservative (depending on how you look at it) estimation of 200GH/s if the pool was as polished as the new version is reported to be. If that 200GH/s was maintained for a solid 24 hour period, that would net somewhere in the neighborhood of $500,000 and $1,000,000 worth of altcoins, according to http://www.coinwarz.com/cryptocurrency. Let that sink in for a second. BlackCoin's current market cap is roughly $1,300,000. That's a ton of buy orders. Never realised that the multipool could double the merket cap on its own. Need to buy more cheap coins asap, plz dump The time of cheap coins could be over now, was glad to get some more @2900 sat yesterday. If all goes right we would never see a price <3000 any more. At least I hope so. Could be that whales try to make another P&D before the MP goes finally up. I'm waiting for things to stabilize before I put any more money in, I'm looking for steady growth not pump n dumping. What more do you want? Blackcoin is up 6 times the price since the start of last week on massive volume and holding. While most altcoins including bitcoin is down. Next leg up should take us to 6k and beyond. Yeah it's still lasting well considering that it keeps going at an upward trend even after a couple of severe P&D attempts, it just bounced back. If it drops below 3k today I'll probably pick up some more, since I think the MP's influx of buys might get it to new levels, and stay there. Maybe not, but one can hope. What more do I want? Well, I would like to see some infrastructure being built for this coin (merchants, anyone?) instead of trading being its only purpose. That would indicate to me that there will be healthy growth in the future- the MP doesn't really excite me in this regard as I have said before I think the MPs will be great in the short term but in the long run all they do is make the price dependent on miners again (which is supposed to be a problem that PoS coins resolve..) , likely creating a price bubble built upon the support of these miners which can easily pop if pools go down or miners become interested in something else. Also, like Chiggins, I am waiting for it to dip below 3k again before I buy more so I don't have to fear the daily fluctuations as much. You want other people to tell you the coin is awesome in every way, but have you ever considered doing your own research? You want it to go up and have lots of infrastructure, but you want it to go down so you can more cheap coins? srs wat?Doesn't really work like that. This coins is just over 30 days old, it has no infrastructure and won't for some time. Those who got in before the coin was built up will profit exponentially more then those who waited for it to be proven safe. That's what risk is. This is good for stability, and suggests new ownership coming in. Liking this as well. Distribution will increase more as the price rises. |

My advice for the faint of heart is to make an investment than when you get an ok profite sell out for you investment and keep the rest in bc that way no matter what happens you will not have to panic.
my advice is don't invest in things which can't deliver. no payouts from lastnight's multipool isn't good. I'm still happy that Radio tried his best, but it's not looking good that there was 50+ BTC worth of hashing going on that isn't going to ever see a payout to anyone, no matter what the issue is, it's not good. nah, there is not way there was 50 btc within 10 hours. I'm guessing no more then 10 if that. With the pool being so unstable I bet a lot of people were waiting for it to stabilize before joining. I know I was. It's a big pain in the but to switch over my rigs. And guess what, my rigs produced some steady BTC that I bought BC with. |
