En el hilo de darkcoin el otro día alguien comentaba lo mismo; no le funcionaba mitpal, mientras que al resto nos iba bien.
El tema seguramente es por zonas geográficas (pero sepas que no eres el único).

This thread is getting so depressing. It's been taken over by the ugliest faces of humanity. I really don't want to come here anymore but I do because I want to know if something is happening. Glad to see some of you old timers have the energy, LimLims, coins101 and Alex. I'll come back tomorrow with hopefully a better outlook, LOL. Hope we can have some positive discussions then. I agree. For real discussion I now only go to Darkcointalk, but I fear missing something important here and skim over the thread. We need someone/something to filter and select the unmissable posts and link them somewhere else + 99 Our thread now is so boring. I miss good old days, we were poor, but we could talk to each other as a adults. |

Why is it that darkcoin keeps rising? I'm happy, but it is making me nervous, and I have been selling the vast majority all the way up (not the smartest, but I cant complain as i'm up I think 2-3x what I put in so far, wish I spent more  .) I really do not want to see a massive drop as I feel like it be the final blow to the altcoin market, so some insight to why it keeps skyrocketing, other than my original logic that x-11 is where all the gpu miners are going to go, would be helpful. As the coin's value increases, master node profits increase. As master node profits increase, more people want master nodes for passive income. Supply can't keep up with demand and the coin's value goes up. So its a giant ponzi scheme where you keep investing to make more money? De momento aguanta el tirón cómo una campeona Pensad que el 25 de mayo se empieza a pagar por mantener master nodes. En total se pagará el 10% del minado a repartir entre todos los master nodes que anonimizan las transacciones ( proof of service lo llaman). Supongo que nadie se quiere perder la posibilidad de tener una renta fija a cambio de mantener unos miles de darkins congelados... No, todo lo contrario. Si ponemos el 20% de la moneda en maternodes (por ejemplo) y damos un interés, digamos, del 10% por estas monedas aparcadas, consigues: - Un incentivo al ahorro y por tanto desincentivas el "pump and dump" habitual de las alts. Si vendes esperando que baje y no baja no solo pierdes la moneda, pierdes el futuro nodo. - Baja el número total de monedas en circulación, la moneda se hace más "rara" y por tanto aumenta su valor. Pero la idea genial del dev con los "master nodes" es tener una red propia de servidores dedicados con la que puedes contar para lo que quieras. En un principio mezclan las transacciones, pero ya se está hablando de futuros desarrollos encima de esta nueva red. Además el hecho que montar un nodo cueste 1000 Darks (25 BTC ahora mismo) te aseguras que será difícil para un gobierno o grupo de hackers controlar o monitorizar las transacciones anónimas. Si quieres el 50% de los nodos (para controlar la red), te va a costar una pasta, además la comunidad se entararía rápido de un aumento no controlado de nodos... |

People are holding because of the master nodes, very soon we will have some very nice and very easy darks every month. there is no dump because of the master nodes issue. We are all holding. Who want to lose the opportunity to get free darks every month?

Wait are you being serious? I have not said DRK will crash and burn. Where are you getting this from? I am holding DRK. I have been for months. I am saying people telling others to buy buy buy are misleading people. See maxcoin. Do you know why people in crypto no longer take keisser seriously? Maxcoin went from 40 dollars to 0.12, screwing many people over and many potential enthusiasts. If someone is adept enough to come to DRK coin thread and ask advice, why would you want to lie and say "buy buy buy"? At least be reasonable and say be careful. Based on the rise, I can say this is a pump. Masternodes will get some people to hold, but not all. ok, I agree. You need to be careful. Alt-world is a dangerous place to play with your money! I like to play with the best dev And remember, Darkcoin had like 5 pumps without a real dumps after. Of course is your choice. |

This has been over and over again.
1) 5 or so pump attempts and no dump. Any other coin done that?
2) Other coins are purely about speculation/trading. This one brings value as it has a real use for it. Actual business use cases.
3) Darkcoin is constantly developed, with a real people behind it, not hiding behind forum nicknames.
One could expand and go on and on, but I think these clues are enough.

So you're telling me those walls of 100 +btc are just people looking to buy in? come on mate don't be ridiculous. Have you not seen the flash crashes that always happen once the walls get removed? Everytime the price dipped 40 to 50 percent, it's because someone sold into the walls or the walls were removed. That is it. Did you even bother to read this? IMO what puts the lie to the "this is just a pump" statement is volume. DRK has seen multiple $1M+ days and topped out at almost $5M volume in one day. Have a look at the charts. Check the volume and price history. Please show the graph with 50% dip. Finally, once you have done your homework, compare the charts to any pump in the altcoin history. If you've been in the altcoin for a while, or have a basic knowledge of pattern, you would realise how ridiculous your "arguments" are. Because the person who wrote that is attributing the transaction money to "money being put in". Transaction volume indicates how much worth of transactions are occurring not how much is being injected. Just the same way market cap can jump 1million dollars when 20k dollars was injected into it. Secondly, screaming about "fake pump" dump please!! is just childish. I never said anyone should dump. All I said is people should be careful. Insider trading is the name of the game and once the buy walls disappear the coin will slowly defalte. You can't expect perpetual upward motion. That is not sensible. Especially given the time frame. Thirdly, was it not just 2 days ago that the coin went from 6 dollars to 3.50 before going back up once the walls resurfaced? How can you sit there and tell me the coin is naturally growing when all the signs point to intense manipulation?Other coins that got pumped were also averaging 1m+ daily movements. Once the governments get involved things will change very quickly. Right now people are having all kinds of pie in the sky ideas about Darkcoin because there is a lot of euphoria around the price rising and all that, but I think the governments will move quickly and make any kind of blockchain obfuscation illegal. It is only a matter of time. Either that or anyone running a masternode or participating in any anon crypto will be branded an enemy of the state. I really hope I am wrong, but I have a nagging feeling that is the way things are going to turn out. I think Darkcoin is great for anonymity stuff, but wider acceptance by public and businesses will never happen unfortunately.
We already have a wine shop accepting it. With proper marketing and brand positioning, mass adoption ala Bitcoin is not an insurmountable obstacle. So what if they do? Once I2P is in it''s not like they can do anything to enforce a ban. I'm not even sure they can do much to enforce it right now. Just the same, move your goddamn masternodes off Amazon people.And US or EU hosts in general, for that matter. +1 Move your masternodes to safe countries, not US or EU. We don't need cryptsy or mintpal really, we can use exchanges in Russia, Ukraine, Pakistan or India. Or new p2p exchanges people are now coding. The world is big enough, and a lot of people will like to create new exchanges to trade Darks. |

Nadie lo puede saber, la verdad. Mañana puede salir una nueva moneda super-anónima y hundirse el Darkcoin. Ese es el juego de las alts Yo le recomendaría a la gente investigase el tema de las monedas anónimas, están empezando varias y pueden tener un nicho de mercado muy potente en un futuro. La carrera (ahora mismo) está entre Monero, Bytecoin y Darkcoin. Veremos. |
