Its more about privacy. He might want to sell the coin down the road, and for whatever reason may not want to coin to be associated withthe current seller, etc.
As for sending 1 satoshi, i dont think its a concern. If I wanted to, I could spend an evening and send 1 satoshi to every single Casascius coin ever made.

We have reached 7th place in rankings and are doing very well! this is a great new concept

There would be more offers for this kind of 1ofakind when ltc becomes mainstream, or when its @$600.
Litecoin doesn't have to become mainstream for physical litecoins to gain value. Even if litecoin crashed and some other coin took its and bitcoin place, these casascius, lealana, and other coins would still be valuable collectors items. Its not the inherent value of litecoin, but the historical value.

when will it be? where else is it being advertised? about how many participants do you expect?

That marketing was stolen from me. But that's OK, when it comes to marketing I'm a natural. I can spit headline after headline. I learned from the best, Apple. and clearly you passed on that knowledge to be learned by him

Buying a lotto ticket be eligible for purchase of physicals?
how will this be administered and by who? I think it would be much better to simply have an auction; the lotto sounds pretty sketchy to be honest.

I must applaud this marketing, well done. While 5BTC or even 1BTC is quite high in this market, the coin is not garbage. It is clear to me that the mark is original, since it is partly below the intact hologram. There is a solid case for this coin to be worth much more then 'normal' market value; I recall an instance where a $20 dollar bill had a banana sticker stuck to it, with the ID number printed on top...it went for something like a quarter million dollars! This is a somewhat similar case; a clear anomaly that cannot be replicated.
My suggestion: don't accept a lowball offer, but wait a few years and you might get a good amount for it.

Lealana 1 - PhysicalCoin 0 I second that; Lealana 1 - PhysicalCoin 0 aint gonna be 3 people guessing correctly. but for the heck of it: Gemrnay: 4 Argentina: 2

I am a bit surprised about the bidding - I know the prices for physical coins are low right now, but 1.5BTC bid on a 1 BTC Gold/Silver 1Ag6DvHx MS65 Grade is shocking to me.
agreed. They were trading for well over 2 not long ago, ungraded

Please find a Lealana coin being sold somewhere currently for significantly less. I doubt you can do it. thats how the market works. The digital value is very different then the collector value, which depends on supply and demand. Seriously... Hook me up with this place that sells $14 lealana's

What do you mean??? Was that your alt account? No.. I just thought somebody bid 1btc. if thats not the case, I dont want to bid that high.
|
|
|
theres already a 1BTC offer some time ago, you need to bid higher.
I think that WAS .1BTC. And, after your post was a 1btc casascius brass coin (not sure if redeemed or not). oh, lol. im gonna retract that

I would trade a casascius 1btc 2013 brass for it
