As promised, I have an exciting announcement!

In honor of the upcoming halving,
I have released an updated 2016 free Casascius eBook, that also contains many additional pages from the Encyclopedia of Physical Bitcoins and Crypto-Currencies. It replaces the Casascius Guide published in June 2014, over two years ago now.
That's over 90 pages of free Content!

In essence, it is a teaser to this book. The aim is to introduce more people t physical bitcoin. It is engineered to get the reader hooked on the subject, but it does not even come close to what is provided in the paid book. Getting more people interested in our hobby is good fr everyone.

I believe this is all in the current book. There are three separate pages for the gold coin.

There are actually three different varieties.
- Series 1 'Prototype'
- Series 1 (as pictured)
- Series 2

If anyone wants to make an offer, I know someone who owns one.

Not a new version per-se, only with minor revisions (added missing commas, fixed small factual inconsistencies, clarified sentences).
I can't guarantee about the paperback; I may be able to simply 'replace' it, and keep using the same ISBN.

I have finished going through a 20 page list of minor corrections which I have implemented. This First Revised Edition will soon be published as a hard-cover.

I will also be making an exciting announcement in the next day or two!   (something to celebrate the halving).

Why does everyone on this forum think everything is a scam? Who would go to the effort of creating a 'fake' book, if the real thing can sell for $150?
One might question whether the book is worth $150, but surely it is not 'fake'.
Nobody would question this in the 'real world'..

You may have missed my main point, which was essentially that if I can make a profit by charging much less for a book with 50 times the content (still having color photos), $150 does seem like a little too much in comparison. I would not buy at that price..

It is important to remember that low quantity book printing is not cheap. That said, I'm asking $89 shipped for my book, which is 270 pages of color with 550+ pictures.
I would venture a guess that the model & photography was not cheap either!

This is amazing.. Maybe our books should be sold as a package deal (hint hint)

Well, congratulations on publishing the second book relating to physical bitcoins! It's a small club we are in

#1 has sold via private sale for $1500.

The number of signatures has now grown to 26, and there will be 12+ holograms, plus unmentioned extras.

Matthew is going through the book looking for needed edits. Looks like there are several on each page... This version will be much better than the original paperback!
