64  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: The Official MCXNOW - REALSOLID SCAM Thread - Please add to this if u scammed. on: October 07, 2014, 04:37:12 PM
How many have been scammed? There's over 38,000 accounts on mcxnow. Or so he claims. Is everybody's money frozen and/or lost ?

I've used MCXNow since late spring...haven't used it in over a month but all was kosher last time I traded some BTC for Doge...never had any issues exchanging LTC for BTC earlier this year either. Sadly, I am unable to recover my Google authenticator and am unable to sign in due to this issue so I won't be doing much trading there unless I create a new account as we all know how friendly RS is when people lose their info etc. Fortunately, I never left a balance overnight on any exchange.
65  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [OPEN] ASICPuppy.net - B2 ANTMINER S3($299.99) NEW R-Box($99.99) Free jumper w/S3 on: October 07, 2014, 03:40:41 PM
Update: It's day 3 and pi B+ still looks great pool side, even with no webui access, this work around is solid hashing with pi B+ and rockminer software while using all 4 usb ports with r-boxes and rk-box.

I'm still working on the webui, but it's still ok without it.

Nice! I think I may havta try this with my RK-Box and new R-Box

67  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ROCKMINER ASIC miner official thread on: October 04, 2014, 07:16:56 PM

Nice! I picked one up off eBay and used my eBay bucks and saved a good deal. Just gotta wait it's arrival now. Also working on picking up a Beaglebone black to play around with.

Anyone here running the new R-Box with MultiMiner by chance? I plan on running a controller for mine soon but wanted to get it up and hashing asap....sadly I am only getting about 50 Gh/s effective and 75 Gh/s avg. and 33% errors. Should I open the unit up and ensure everything is connected properly? The package looks like it went through a war-zone. haha!

Thanks!
I believe you are trying to use BFG Miner, at least that's the same numbers I got when I tried. BFG Miner is working on support for the new r-box but it isn't there yet. nwools started digging deeper into it yesterday so I imagine that means MultiMiner will need to be changed as well. Switch to the CG Miner download from Rockminer and edit the batch file with your pool and worker info and you should have an effective rate at 100Gh/s or higher. These units seem to be touchy about the USB cable as well which may have some bearing on your results too.

Word. Thanks for the reply mate!

Anyone here run a new R-Box and an RK-Box on the same controller? Maybe Minera?
Just weighing options for running this new R-Box.

Thanks!
You can run both on an A10 Cubie, they go for roughly $60~$70 on Amazon but Rockminer may have some in stock to ship with your purchase.

Eyeboot is selling A10 Cubie for $55 usd here:

I will be updating my thread today (finally) but also wanted to post a quick update.

Currently I have 3 PSU breakout boards to design cases for...first up is the 2x J4bberwock Mods boards then onto the DPS750 board I recently got on a trade  Grin
Also catching up on some print orders over the next couple days while developing the cases.

I will be answering PMs this afternoon. Apologies for the wait.

Thanks all!

Has anyone started an escrow for the reward for this project yet? I will be adding some 3d printed gear to my original $40 promise.
Keep up the awesome work!
74  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 10 Antminer S2s - $450 each on: October 01, 2014, 07:23:10 PM
Exactly bro...YOUR USER NAME...NOT MINE! Please remove the pics with MY username asap or I will be reporting to the mods. The last thing I need is to be associated with someone whom doesn't understand basic english...my statement was clear and concise.
Again, please remove the pic with my screenname/username/Bitcointalk ID from YOUR post/thread.
Thanks and good day.

and FYI --- a DIGITALLY modified picture does not constitute as substitution for a PHYSICAL sheet of paper with YOUR Bitcointalk.org username AND date, anyone can grab a picture off the internet and add their username to the pic with Microsoft Paint.

75  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 10 Antminer S2s - $450 each on: October 01, 2014, 04:36:16 AM
i know mstrongbow in person and he is not selling these s2s. this is most likely a scam do not send any money or btc

this is correct! those are NOT my miners, I don't even own any S2's....not sure why the OP put MY name on the "paper" which is obviously digital, jeesh, the lengths scammers will go to make a quick buck!

edit:changed font size and removed bold since OP removed the pic with my username.
76  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] raspberry + lcd + sc card ready for mining on: September 30, 2014, 12:53:41 PM
I could build you one if you wouldn't mind doing the compiling etc. I've got custom cases for the Adafruit 16x2 LCD R-Pi kit...
You can see my works here...https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=694666.0
Cheers!
77  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 10 Antminer S2s - $500 each on: September 30, 2014, 02:58:43 AM
please post your bitcoin talk id w. this pic.

thanks.

Bitcoin ID?

A time-stamp pic....Your Bitcointalk.org user ID on a sheet of paper with the miners pictured and the current date...helps prove you have the gear and are not scamming.

Thanks bro! I am probably going to toss the Antminer logo on the lid of these covers so they stand out and are easier to identify. Plus I can make Antminer keychains and such after I get the logo done in 3d.
