5 more days huh...so a new wallet will be released on the 20th???
I am new to mining DRK but am digging the lower temps/kWh usage.
Thanks!

No, recent wallet 0.9.10.1 already contains all necessary changes for the hardfork.

You can update now and you will be ready for the hardfork on 20th.

Awesome! Thanks for the quick and informative reply. This thread is so active it is hard for a DRK newb to keep up! I just started reading over on Darkcointalk  Grin

Happy mining and have a super day!

Awesome update yo, looks great! I will enable some alert functions and let ya know what I think.

Quick question...what does "Enable Annoying Popup" enable? I am half tempted to click that option! haha  Grin

it takes months to achieve 0.01 BTC

hope you got free electricity
Nope, just block erupters.  Grin

They don't do much anymore, but paired with a Raspberry Pi don't take more than ~12W for 2.2GH/s.

Damn. That's a lot electricity for only 2.2gh/s

Could be worse...could be mining with a Cube! lol

Does anyone have the vector images for the darkcoin logo, or at least a high quality raster copy of it? I'm designing a site at the moment, and the worst looking part is the darkcoin logo because the quality is so low :/

It also would be worthwhile and useful to put together a press release kit of sorts including a handful of high quality images as well as standardized copy for branding purposes.

Edit: Found it. If anyone sees this and cares, the link is https://darkcointalk.org/threads/branding-discussion.616/

Nice! This will come in handy for 3D printed DRK swag!

3D printed R-Box mount sneak preview...

From this...

To this...

This design is still being modified but will offer greater modularity than what is shown in the above pics! Hoping to have a v2 printed this evening.

Note...I noticed temps dropped down to around 33 degrees using the mount versus 40+ degrees sitting on the desk/table.

I too am waiting for Canary to post a price and hopefully it's more competitive than minersource.net ( although they are a good reseller ).  The price on the rbox dropped dramatically since launch and hopefully we will see the price of the rkbox come down as well.  To stay competitive with the market the price needs to drop a lil since power supply is not included and the rpi may need to be purchased as others have stated.  At least close to what Rockminer sells them for + a lil for shipping cost.  Hopefully this next week goes fast, don't want to resort to buying from the manufacturer.  What would you use these for?  Combine a couple and mine at a pool or point one for solo mining?  Is it a waste for solo or should I use the rbox for solo?  Your thoughts....

I personally wouldn't try solo mining unless I had at least 10 Th/s but that is just my BTC0.00003552

I've been over my confirmed min payout threshold for about 6 hours and no payout. Has anyone else noticed slow payout or a problem?

My bad! I was looking at my total reward not confirmed reward.

D'oh!

That is very weird. Almost like the check box and perks are not working as well as the API and email address settings.

As a possible fix do you all have the latest .NET installs and updates?

Yes, both machines are win 8.1 running the same version of .net -  I also installed MM on a laptop thats also on the network (as a test to determine if the issue is with either of my mining machines), and it doesnt see the other machines either and vice versa. I'm curious as to how MM 'detects' other machines on the network running the program now.

I have been getting API errors and .NET crashes. I will update in the morning and poke around the settings.
Windows 8 gave me issues awhile back when using MultiMiner but that was many revisions ago and W8 not 8.1.

I'm surprised that there hasn't been a commercial giant in this market yet. Thus far, there has been no mass-produced 3D printer and the market is wide open.

There are actually quite a few out there if you look into the "Maker" community.

Still very clean and nicely done on printing.

I designed this one...

I know that occaisionally mine will drop a system off MM panel even though everything is ok.  I have not had them drop completely though like you have where they do not come back.

This other machine is a GPU rig? I am not sure MultiMiner is designed to display other instances of itself on the same network like it notice an Antminer or other stand alone mining hardware. You were able to get MultiMiner to display another instance of MultiMiner running without using the stratum proxy function?

I have a GPU rig which runs MultiMiner (main instance) and that instance is set to display ALL network devices, run and USB devices and mine with GPU's. Not once have I ever seen any of my other GPU rigs display on my main instance of MultiMiner. I would verify with Nate that this option is available before you pull your hair out anymore yo  Grin I could be wrong but who knows

I have never had a problem where my GPU rigs do not see each other.

Hmm, weird and yeah I watch this thread but have been puzzled with your issues especially since a fresh install did not your prob. Can you see ALL the machine in the MobileMiner or Web version? Your email/key info is applied properly?

Stumped I am.

Yea I can see both machines in mobileminer both from my laptop and my phone. Its just the programs dont see each other. I've just updated both machines to MM v3.2.2 & recreated the Homegroups on both machines but still no go. Got me totally miffed atm...

Hmmm, I may havta look into this for myself but I don't have the need for monitoring another network machine with my main instance of MultiMiner but maybe this is why my MultiMiner is crashing. My system should be up to date but sometimes those lil updates slip past

Little update on the Dogecoin MMO VoidSpace by the Universe Project. It's currently in the process of being kickstarted:

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2078503895/voidspace

It also looks like it has a strong chance of being Greenlit on Steam:

http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=269740803&src=kickstarter-update

It will be available for PC, linux, iOS, Android, and Blackberry, ect. Fully cross-platform. The game will have fully player developed infrastructure and economies. No NPCs. The in game currency will be Dogecoin.

Pledged!

It's a nice touch, that they used Comic Sans for their announcement.

Comic Sans FTW!!!
