Looks like the time to start modding my S1's to maintain maximum profits as I am now needing to add more hash power to my farm in order to keep my daily reward close to where it was before. What percentage was the last difficulty increase? Knowing that should give me a good figure for how much I need to increase my hash rate. I think I would rather see the 4 Ph/s over the 3.4 we are pushing now...if the pool doesn't grow with the network, the pool WILL get left behind. Wait 2-3 days and buy the upgrade? I am at least 2 weeks from being able to make my next purchase...most likely a couple more S1 units and mod those so that I can push ~1 Th/s but on 1/2 the watts! I am picking up a small scrypt asic setup to keep my "mine" diversified and versatile!

BFF miner is not seeing any of your hardware so you are not mining. The new block detected means the network has resolved a block and we are all working on the next. And by we I mean the entire bit coin network. Basically right now your are not mining with Bfg but monitoring the network. What ASIC are you trying to run? Hope that helps. Namnuta is absolutely right you are not mining and no hardware is listed in CGminer window. Try this, in CGminer window type the letter "m" then the plus key "+" then "all" and hit return. it will refresh and list the hardware and info. As far as I can tell, that would only work in BFGMiner. But there is indeed nothing mining. Which is this hardware that is not listed? That isn't well explained in main site http://mining.bitcoin.cz/ I'm sure that i have read and do all successful but for some reason nothing appears to me about mining and earning my account?! letter "m" does not work in CGminer window - nothing happens. I dont know what is wrong i just want to join the mining pool to work together Couple questions... What mining hardware? What OS for the controlling system? What mining software? Answer those and I am sure we can help you get to mining quickly. Also, might I suggest www.multiminerapp.com?

A McDoge would be a better name. Yes, but McDonalds would never have accepted it. Associating meat with dogs would not be a good advertising strategy Exactly what I was about to post.

Ok everybody, try not to lay into me too hard, but I'm clueless (trying to learn). I finally found a miner that I could get to do something besides not work...so now I want to make it work better My problem is, I don't know how to configure arguments and such; heck, I can't even figure out how to modify the intensity setting. If anyone could steer me in the right direction (read steer with a gps), I'd be super greatful Look for the advanced miner settings and then look for the Arguments section drop-down selection...you will choose the algorithm there and enter arguments such as Intensity, Fan, Memclock etc.

I have got a Xia-T-hash ASIC Machine, just like this: http://www.btcgt.com/goods.php?id=8it can mining in slush by "stratum+tcp" normally that is with 1000+Ghashs hashrate, but by "mining_proxy.exe", it only get a 19+Ghashs hashrate, and the ASIC Machine's Control Panel shows it runs in 1000+Ghashs. so what is the matter, how to make it runs Fully devoted by "mining_proxy.exe". whats your difficulty settings mate?

Price updated. Free ATX breakout board with each 10 units purchased through Sunday.
I recommend switching back to the custom 4.3.3 build of cgminer if you are having issues with cgminer 4.4.0 or bfgminer 4.2.0. Both official builds are having reported issues reliably detecting the RBOX.
Also, if you are using the ATX breakout board, you'll note that the 8 pin PCIE connectors are actually 8 pin CPU connectors. You will be able to connect 6 of 8 pins, and that's all you need. I have ten running on one breakout board with no issues. Do not try plugging a cpu connector into the pcie connectors, as the polarity is reversed and may damage the board.
The breakout boards have BOTH 8pin CPU and 8pin PCIE headers... The 8pin CPU connector (header) is the white colored, VERTICAL connector directly next to the 20+4pin ATX connector (header). The black, horizontal 8pin connectors (headers) are the PCIE connectors and will accept 6pin OR 8pin without issues. DO NOT PLUG MORE THAN 1 PSU INTO THESE BOARDS! Bad things happen. I currently have my breakout boards supplying power using just the 20+4pin ATX and the 8 pin CPU headers. I am powering 7x R-Box units between 2 breakout boards (5 on one, 2 on the other). The breakout boards also serve as a power switch for the PSU supplying power, in my case, the PSU is also supplying power to part of my S1 farm. Perhaps they just messed up on my board and another customer's. I have 1 8 pin CPU header(white) and 2 8pin CPU headers(black) that are labled as pciex. I know they are CPU headers because the extra two ground connectors to the left of the 6 pin do not fit, but a CPU molex does. It doesn't really matter much either way, as I am only using 2x6 pins and they work just fine with my 10 RBOX units. The 12v from ATX, CPU, and 2 6 pin PCIE connectors is more than enough for 10 units. I will double check and inspect the black colored headers on my 2 boards...I have seen GPU's with the 8pin CPU headers on them before...mixup at the factory perhaps? (they received wrong headers but no-one noticed?) Thanks for the heads up and I will let ya know what I find out. (I plan on using non-powered adapters to test the fitment of the 2x 8pin "PCIE" headers on my 2 boards...I wouldn't want to screw something up trying to plug in a live adapter. heh

@ phillipma I think my ambient temps are around 74 degrees Farenheit. My miners are near a door that stay open 99% of the time with a fan on them. The RBox miners closer to the fan run a tad cooler and yes, my temps raise up during the day. Avg temp is about 37-39 but placement of the miners is key as my #7 RBox miner is directly above an S1 and runs warmer than the rest of the bunch.

Hopefully Slush pool didn't get "Mr. Block-With holder-Miner" that has been in the news lately who was blocked/banned? from mining with Eligius, at least with their current IP and wallet info. Who knows really. I would like to think the slush team monitors the pool for any and all sorts of activity.
edit: woot! just found a block! Only 22:06:39 long too! Considering the recent change in difficulty, it could have been worse. The pool is going to need any extra hash power it can get. Keep adding hardware! MOAR hardware! lol Happy mining!
