An ounce of wine with two ounces vodka.

Not bad!

This is an old story you're telling.

And it's empty air.

One rumor is that it is Mintpal admins dumping all the cryptos they have!

Anyway, NHZ is a clone, so it makes sense for it to become part of the cloneNET blocknet.

NHZ may be a clone but they seem to have some aim to reworking the code in an effort to make it better.  My point is that the term 'clone' as a label is not entirely accurate since they are rebuilding and redirecting rather than copy/paste/expect from community.

And I can appreciate that the crossing out of clonenet was done because blocknet is not based on Supernet code as far as I have read.

Silently invested in BTCD et cetera so please don't take my comments as anything more than an interest in being fair.  I have respected your expression and coding for quite some time and think that there is no need to dive into petulance.

How many coins are in existence here?

One of the block explorers says 91 million...is that accurate?

Honest question.  That said, I don't really like Cannibas but support the legalization effort...and perhaps even the coin...
1887  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: darkcoin exploit found in 2 hours by amateur (why open source matters for anon) on: October 10, 2014, 03:48:45 AM
what about SSD coin? do you think it is legitimate? I went into their thread ragging them but they almost have me sold they are legit. i still not buy into it though until they deliver on all promises.

SSD is the only one with Stenography. Not much of a market for it now but if it is stout and continues along then there might be.

It's been out for awhile and I haven't seen any copycats.  Kind of a relevant indicator to me.
1888  Economy / Economics / Re: China will become Super Power ? on: October 10, 2014, 03:37:35 AM
China is already a super power, it controls America through its debt.

its also the worlds biggest real goods economy
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_GDP_sector_composition

the Chinese outproduce everyone in the world in Agriculture and Industry.
the only thing the Americans and Japanese produce more is bullshit paper pushing Services.

Was just going to say that.  China is a superpower.  They always have been.  Orwell didn't cite Euraisa and Oceania for nothing...Wink

+1

Gambling is always fixed even if a site can be demonstrated to be provably fair.  The reason is that it is very likely that after winning that you will bet again.  And nobody wins a million times in a row.

I would bet fifty dollars on the Cubs winning the World Series next year before I would place a fifty dollar bet equivalent in BTC on any website.

Condolences to the hard stories in this thread.
1890  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your favorite TV series and movie? on: October 10, 2014, 03:12:40 AM
Scrubs.

Shawshank Redemption is right up there for me but I think I would have to place The Matrix just a bit higher.
1891  Other / Off-topic / Re: What car do you drive? on: October 10, 2014, 01:47:04 AM
2002 Chevy Camaro.  It isn't my first choice but I have always loved Camaros so I will always likely have one around.

Vodka - straight.  I prefer rum but Vodka is easier to access at this point.

The brand is irrelevant.

Noob Question - How do I download the update without sending the coins to an exchange, deleting the wallet and then installing?

There has been talk of a NoirExchange, right, which I essentially interpret to mean that it will be an altcoin exchange that will earn for the GF et cetera...and the guys have stated that they have been talking with the guys from Maidsafe and Ethereum...

Why not place the exchange on the Safe Network, making NoirExchange the first exchange on the Safe Network with all of the Security and advantages that the Safe Network has to offer?  I imagine that there will be a race to populate the Safe Network with apps and sites so there may be an inherent advantage to being the first one over there.

Just a thought...

Was he part of the team who brought Blackcoin to the top or not? yeahhh he was... so teams can not have personal issues? So let's say you are great at your job but you totally don't agree with the direction your boss chooses for the future, you'll bend over and take it up your... or will you thanks him and go somewhere else?

Not in my opinion.  Having friends to help bulk purchasing to go along with his big mouth is not community building nor is it any part of the dev work or marketplace adoption.

This is from someone who has been observing and never took his advice.  Never in BC or LBC.  Doesn't mean that they weren't worth my attention in the threads.

(By the way...have also told many bosses to shove it when I disagreed.  Using fallacious arguments to prove an irrelevant point is just that.)
1899  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IMPORTANT LIBERTYCOIN SCAM EXPOSED XLB on: May 26, 2014, 08:34:14 PM
Yeah...he is not legit.  He just posted a promise to take XLB to #3 and I asked him how that was dissimilar to his behavior with BC...he deleted it multiple times as I would repost after the delete.  Was able to get this screenshot though.  That guy is not healthy for this community.

I took a nap because I was so tired for working all night on XLB.

Thanks for all the hard work!  How many new exchange accounts with predetermined sell orders did you end up with?
