Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SFC] SafeCoin - The Real Safecoin. May Launch

Safecoin has launched! Cryptocurrency has come come to advance so quickly, that the concept behind this coin is now one of collaboration. Safecoin starts off as a fork of Bytecoin. However, this is done in a sustainable manner using forknote. This ensures that the development of Safecoin constantly matches that of Bytecoin. Will it always be a clone? No. Launching is just the first step on the roadmap. I will be extending this coin past bytecoin, while still remaining compatible with their development, and updating the coin with their updates. It will have everything bytecoin has, and more. The economy around this coin is also safer, with a guarantee that one Safecoin will always have the value of one Bitcoin. More to come...of course. http://safecoin.orgYou can't guarantee parity with BTC. And despite the argument from a year and a half ago, the name Safecoin isn't going to stick here. This is an obvious scam.

The good news is software developers are about $2000/month here.
Wait a minute. David Zimbeck traveled to over seas in order to find developers that he could afford (roughly $2000 a month). David Zimbeck works heavily with Golang. And David Zimbeck suggested that BitBay (that wonderfully fabulous disaster of a scam) would work on Meshnet projects in the future. Yes, three points of contact is pretty slim but I'm going out on a limb and calling Skycoin dev is actually Zimbeck (with the possibility of multiple users of infamy trading account use). There might be other similarities if one was motivated to do some tedious compare and contrast; or none. I suspect the latter since I don't believe that a lot of altcoin devs decided to go overseas in order to find cheap developers (correct me if I am wrong). Be careful with your funds, people. I am happy to crowdfund this project even if David Zimbeck is the Skycoin dev. David is a very smart young man and while he had a very shady role in the Bitbay shamble he can make that up to the digital currency community by delivering a good software which I hope Skycoin will be. I actually would tend to agree. I have some pretty mass respect for his talent and think that he is capable of it. I was/am excited for this project but if he is working on multiple projects in tandem with the ill advised collaboration with -omitted- then I think caution is not bad advice. I'm not here to fud and will leave it at that. I prefer lurking and supporting on my own whims but thought this was relevant enough to post.

Hehe, thanks for your answer. It was really hard to get one ! 1000 BTC isn't that tiny (for 2%), forget about the less than 1$ BTC, currently, a btc is at 230$ and most of this community bought at more than 500$, we are not all "early investors" . How much BTC you have ? Me, less than 5. I kind of get a bit nervous when people start talking about how BTC is that large. 10x happens all of the time. BTC parity not so much. Still not sure about this one. I really don't think that the dev is going to be dumping. I believe that he has a vested interest in his project and is motivated by the time and effort he has placed into it, which lends confidence. I have no problem thinking that the project is going to be solid but 2% of the IPO with 988% in the hands of one person is still going to cause reactions amongst the molecules.

I'll Add 500 to make that figure reach 3000, i believe with the bounty stacking up like this will end this farce once and for all.
(But my condition is that the pool has to be able to operate publicly non-stop and functioning for 30 days at least before they would get my part of the bounty, it is doable but security would be a BIG MAJOR ISSUE)
Good point. My conditions are the same with functioning also meaning no coins are stolen or lost. 3000 is not enough,SPR is cheap. But it does tell us the fact that pool-mining is workable now. Actually, it says that you or your ilk should be able to prove that pool mining is workable now. No one is going to give you the world to prove the argument. Put up or shut up. Or not. P.S. I see no need to add to the bounty. I've seen more done for less.

You're flat out wrong regarding the amount of people mining this coin. More likely far less than 100 individual miners with 10% of those getting 90% of the coins. Mostly farms using optimized miner on private pools. We all know that optimized miners and pools exist for this coin and have for some time. FPGA is likely in use as well.
Spreadnodes are you still pissing and moaning around here? Why? What do you think you are going to accomplish? I really don't get it at all!!! Why do you care so much if there is people with optimized miners and even if there was pools for this coin why are you so desperately concerned about it? Noob. He's here trying to create discord and you seem intent on giving that to him. Every time you quote a post from someone you think is trying to devalue SPR, you give them larger weight. It's as simple as that. I know how frustrating it can be to see people who disagree with you. I have some advice for you and I intend that advice to be expressed earnestly and with much sincerity. There is an old rule on the interwebz - Lurk more. That means, quite simply, read more. Let some of the trolling roll off your back, visit some other threads and read about the tech and why it is being developed. Respond from a base of knowledge rather than reactionary because that is how the 'trolls' win - by getting you to validate their inane arguments through repetition. Relax. Breathe a bit and then do some reading. You have time. Don't stress yourself out. You don't even need to reply to this post - just do it. Or not. I'm just a post.

I actually did not see a pay with selfies promotion coming though I am not surprised that it wasn't BTC.
It really doesn't sound like they are accepting a new form of payment though. It is just a promotion and the promotion will occur at pre-specified times.
Regardless, I am not going to be trying this. I don't miss their fries or anything else that much. I hope a homeless person or two will take advantage though.
