Bump.

Just an FYI from here on forward: I have decided to remove the advertisement slot. I didn't feel it contributed towards the thread and I have now removed it. Do not message me for advertisements from here on forward, I will ignore you.

The thread will continue to serve its original purpose to gather a rather good list of managers who know their shit.
2  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [List] Gift cards providers on: April 29, 2022, 11:17:05 PM
Anyone used bitrefill recently? Its still good yes??

Would possibly need recommendations for gift card providers who could possibly be better than bitrefill perhaps? Is coinsbee better than bitrefill currently or no? Planning to buy some amazon credits sometime soon so would love me some recommendations Cheesy

Yes. It currently is but I might end up making a separate list for individuals and P2P platforms.
PLEASE DO! I would like to do some lil wittle transactions with some decent individuals/P2P plats.

Okay hello!

Seems, no one thus far has a problem with Little Mouse being added, so welcome; you're added to the list!

Let's share my views and it will be positive although Little Mouse and others on the list are my competitors :-P
Jokes apart, to be honest we need more good campaign managers which will eventually balance the ecosystem.

~~~snipped~~~
I also can assure that Little Mouse has indeed approachable and good manners. He is very helpful towards others at-least towards me many times. If you are familiar with Project COVID-19, I was able to get significant information from him and in some cases he helped us without even we asked it from him.
As a campaign manager so far Little Mouse is doing good job judging by some of the campaigns he managed. I think there are nothing wrong to add him in the list. It's a go from me.
Thank you for this. I think this alone helps me somewhat make a decision from a different perspective, and I don't see any "harm" in adding Little Mouse.
It doesn't really matter if Little Mouse is added to this list or not. They will continue to try and get some work regardless. I'm not sure if being listed in this thread has helped me or not, but you're free to give my spot to whomever. Doesn't feel like this has done me much good.
Your spot will remain here and no one is taking that spot. Having listed here does not guarantee that you will get projects, its shows that people have trust in you and they are happy when they see you and others bringing new projects on bitcointalk.
Honestly couldn't have worded it better, I almost echo your statements.
To @Yahoo62278: Hey i am sorry if this thread hasn't gotten you any leads, from what I can tell, I don't know if it has helped anyone. Its more or less just a reference point for different managers that the forum offers who actually do their job right. If you want me to still remove you from the list, I will remove it. But do I genuinely want to? Honestly, no. But if you want so, I will respect your decision.
As far as I know, Theymos redirected all interested people to this thread, just because it was non-commercial, now I see that you are selling advertising.
In addition, I see at least 6 names of those guys who are no longer in management. My point is, you have time to sell ads but no time to follow the thread?
Theymos never said anything about it being commerical or not(unless I missed it somewhere(?)), and I didn't go hunt/ask for people to come advertise to my thread. If people are unhappy with the advertisements, I would be happy to remove them; and also refund the money back to Little Mouse.
And no, I have my own things happening IRL, so like I said I dont go sell ads. Little Mouse just dm'ed me a few weeks ago asking if he could advertise, and I didn't see why not. You can ask him how long I took to reply Smiley.
Bump to the moon:)
Lots of things to add upon:
- The Advertised spot is now rented till the end of April!
- I wanted to add Little Mouse in this thread when they asked me to see if they fit, and initially when looking at it, everything seemed great, and the person seems very genuine. But while looking into Little Mouse, I came across the RaptarX, and I don't know how exactly to feel about it. People make mistakes yeah, but second chances are also something that should exist.
I wanna know what the community thinks about Little Mouse, what the managers think, and if they are fit to be in the list. What happened was almost 6 months ago, and am hoping Little Mouse has become more mature-er?
The reason I wanted to add them:
- They put in effort in their campaigns, decently designed ANN thread, good English, and approachable behavior(with me not sure about the rest), and I want to grow the list of Anti Spam allowing managers,as it keeps getting smaller as people leave Sad . I haven't looked into the entire history of this person, nor do i intend to, but if I did miss out on good/bad things about them, please do link it! I will give it a read.
N E ways, HIRE THESE MANAGERS PEOPLE, go grow your business in bitcointalk, this list contains the best of the best <3.
Let's try and answer them in a future video, we're going to be having fun whatever the answers  Cheesy
It would be great if Cyrus can hire "Akrobeto" or anyone that's great at messing up pronunciations, for that segment Cheesy
Just type the username/s below and optionally add how you think they should be pronounced, bonus points if you record yourself!
It could be your own Bitcointalk username as well as other usernames.
Usernames = How I think* they should be pronounced [I apologize in advance] Grin
* = Not the correct way
  • LoyceV = Loy-se-Vu [French accent]
  • pooya87 = Pooh-yeahhhh-ate-seven [Southern accent]
  • achow101 = Achoo-one-owww-one [cute accent]
  • mocacinno = Mocha!-seen!-NOOooooo [Japanese accent]
  • SFR10 = Es-Ef-Rawr (meow) [sexy accent]
Aww I am going to remember you guys with these pronunciations  Grin
Easy way to remember me? its Pug-BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK-man
easy yes? I would hope so.  Angry This how i look!
8  Other / Meta / Re: [NEW EPISODE] TheBitcoinTalkShow - Second episode is here! on: January 07, 2022, 11:21:12 PM
Loved the videos. Thank you cyrus and your team. I guess the Friday where we see the videos finally came.
And I like the idea of auctioning off prizes for a good cause if the winners chose not to/aren't available. Really solid work, the youtube videos seem to be thought out well and scripted well. The background music, the 2010 memes, the background setup they all make the videos feel sooo...genuinely bitcointalk-y. Not sure if that makes sense, but really solid work <3. The community is happy to support the youtube channel, I am sure.
9  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk Youtube channel - what would you like to see? on: December 24, 2021, 11:51:20 PM
Interesting.......
Tried to decipher your cryptic image by using basic Steganography to see if it had any links hidden in the picture, or a password of sorts.
- Converted the image to a notepad to find something useful: returned null.
- Used an online site to find if anything had been hexed: returned null.
- Tried to extract the image for possible hidden files using winzip/winrar: returned null.
- Tried to change the hue and saturation of the image to see if you had hidden any text in the image in  plain sight : returned null.
- Checked for any unlisted videos on unlistedvideos.com: returned null.
i now have dissapointment for free of cost. yip yip hurray. Merry fkin xmas.
10  Other / Meta / Re: If the signature campaings are removed from the forum, will you stay or leave? on: December 10, 2021, 09:46:15 AM
Most will leave regardless, eventually. If the forum's administration continues to stay the way it is, I don't expect things to become better here. The OGs already left, when sig campaigns came around.
Think about this: Lauda left, Lutpin is Huh?, Zepher died(fuck.), same for Bruno(RIP), idk where escrow, tradefortress, or half of the OG ogs even are. Bitcointalk is no longer the iconic place it once was, it doesn't feel like the same forum where the likes of Hal Finney used to go around and speak with the community, hell even Satoshi was in the same forum; he fucking created the forum and now its a shitpile if anything.
I used to read like 50-60 threads a day now there is barely anything worthwhile to read, the only generally good posts I see are from people with the chipmixer signature, and a few others who talk in the Meta/Rep/Service Discussion/Economics/Speculation board.  Am I wrong?
11  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk Youtube channel - what would you like to see? on: December 03, 2021, 09:52:56 PM
I really cannot pick one.
That whole ironic "Coming Soon" thing on the Youtube video is starting to be a little more frustrating than amusing at this point (at least for me).  I know all things bitcointalk move at the speed of a crippled tortoise, but I was fairly certain that there had been some thought and planning put into the creation of the channel and would have expected a followup video much sooner than this.
And I'm still kind of surprised that there are less than 40 subscribers, even if there's only been a preview video released.  Either a whole lot of people who might watch the channel's videos haven't seen the preview yet or there just isn't the interest in it that a lot of us thought there would be.  I'm very curious to see if the sub count increases if and when the second video gets put out.
If I am to be honest, I do not particularly expect the subscriber count to grow any immensely even after say a video comes out, the youtube algorithm is a bitch.
And if the uploads are not consistent, and if the videos uploaded don't have a target audience, shit will just begin to crumble. I am more interested to hear from Cyrus what the game plan for the channel rather than giving a shit about subscriber count when not even a single "proper" video has been dropped. I will never understand how the channel is supposed to grow when the communication itself is basically non-existent, at least from what I have seen. There is a reason only 36-37 people are subscribed to the youtube channel, and its not just because no videos have been uploaded.
What more is that the teaser has 351 views, and the channel has 37 subscribers, I would be interested in knowing how much the retention rate was for the teaser, are the people who watched the teaser other than us on BTT really interested in something like this?
12  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk Youtube channel - what would you like to see? on: November 11, 2021, 10:06:25 PM
Fuck I didn't see the teaser up until now. And Oh my god, it is actually really done well; its way better than what I had imagined, and has a totally different aura than what bitcointalk as a forum does. I am actually really stoked to see what the channel is going to cover, so cyrus however long it takes, if the videos have similar or even better quality than what the teaser video has, I am SURE the channel will do well.
Fucking insanely good job on the production, the narrator(not sure if it is you or someone else) did really well, the video was really well done. It felt like an actual youtube video that I would normally watch, so GREAT fuckin Job mr.cyrus!
I, however, would suggest that the channel gets advertised more properly in the forum, maybe one of the designated ad-slots that we all see on each thread could have a link to the youtube channel when videos roll by? Also like small giveaways to the communities to keep them involved? omg I actually cant wait for the first proper-proper-proper video to be released.
Alright, for those who have been in the NFT market, tell me how your experience has been with https://opensea.io/,, the good, the bad, the ugly.
The reviews on Trustpilot are funny, at best: https://www.trustpilot.com/review/opensea.io
I would like opinions on other Marketplaces too, like: https://mintable.app/, https://niftygateway.com/, Binance NFT(?), or any other relatively good ones.
14  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [List] Gift cards providers on: October 15, 2021, 11:37:05 PM
Anyone here familiar with Google play gift cards? I keep getting the following error:
Quote
Couldn't redeem this code. This code can only be used in United States.
I remember having this issue the first time I redeemed a card but I fixed it by changing my country (in my account settings) to the U.S and using a VPN. I tried to do the same thing but still getting that message. Any thoughts?
Okay so I looked it up, some of the solutions were:
- Change your region currency to USD. This seemed to be the most goto option which seemed to solve it.
- Using a secondary device and formatting it and setting the country as US to default although I think you don't need to necessarily format, you can clear your Google play data and try it, it might just work. There's one reddit solution here: https://www.reddit.com/r/googleplay/comments/pad3xp/couldnt_redeem_this_code_this_code_can_only_be/
Robinhood confirms crypto wallet feature on app starting in October
The company did not specify which tokens the digital wallet would support, but the app currently provides commission-free trading for BTC, ETH, LTC, BCH, BSV, DOGE, and ETC.
16  Other / Archival / Re: Binance introduces KYC for all users on: October 01, 2021, 11:53:21 PM
Wasn't everyone's accounts who weren't verified turned to withdraw-only status? Cause it is for me, where I think I can only withdraw until mid october and I still have my daily BTC withdrawal rate of 2.0 BTC a day. Isn't it the same for everyone?
Also wanted to know, what are the thoughts of everyday binance users who didn't verify yet. Are y'all gonna verify or go find another exchange? Curious.
Yes, that happened yesterday but that was not the plan at first as I previously mentioned. They were supposed to simply lower the withdrawal limit and not enforce KYC.
Personally, I don't see myself verifying my identity unless, for some reason, I find myself stuck with no alternatives but for now, I would go with OKEX since I didn't have a good experience with Kucoin.
Whats your thoughts on OKEX? I have never used it, I would like to know how your experience with the platform has been thus far.
With that said, I don't know why Binance thinks giving 10$(??) for their users to verify their accounts is going to do any help? Regardless of the "gamified" way of getting you to verify yourself on their platform, their move towards adopting to KYC is gonna have two sides; those who chose to verify and those who don't. Not to mention the whole "500$" voucher bs. Very crappy imo.
One would think binance would have better ways to attract their customers given FTX and their partnerships in recent history but N O P E.
17  Other / Archival / Re: Binance introduces KYC for all users on: September 23, 2021, 11:38:15 PM
It all looks good actually. We were not supposed to get our limits lowered but rather have KYC enforced. That's still going to happen, but not until the 19th of October and AFAIK, The 0.06 BTC thing is no longer valid.
Yesterday, everyone's account permission has been changed to withdraw-only, meaning you won't be able to do anything on the platform except for withdrawing funds. This is just meant to make people more aware of the KYC situation, and also give these who are not willing to comply more time to withdraw their funds, so there are not complaints later.
Time flies fast, dropping by to bump the graphics contest thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5354384
Some of those designs look amazing! I think it's going to be hard to find a winner.
Alsp, here's the show's Twitter account: @BtcTalkShow
IMO it would be a good idea to tweet some of the contest entries and ideas from here.
Thank you everyone!
oooh! September is here, only a few more days of waiting wooheee!
I love the artwork of this particular dude: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5354384.msg57781141#msg57781141 {hope he wins it/some sort of monetary appreciation he seems to have put in quite some effort!}
How is the youtube work coming along, @cyrus? To say that I am quite excited would be an understatement. Let us know if the community can help you in anything else, like in terms:
Subtitles, editing intros(?), managing the channel etc etc. I am sure some people would love to volunteer.
19  Other / Archival / Re: Binance introduces KYC for all users on: August 20, 2021, 11:45:36 PM
I like how so many people are surprised like "Oh my god how could binance do this 1!1!1!1!!1111"
Well, didn't we see this happen in 2017-2018 when the best exchanges at the time(bittrex and Poloniex) made KYC compulsory and then became the most shittiest exchanges? Back then, Binance took the opportunity and exploded in popularity. Question is, will there be a binance v2(say FTX for example) take over the spotlight from binance.
Binance is still a very good exchange at what all services they offer and many people are actually now willing to give in their KYC because of it in contrast to before where the fight for anti-kyc was still dominant enough. I want to see a new exchange boom up to the top, and if they are trying to be compliant at least do it properly. Stop pulling an OnlyFans[1] in the crypto scene.
[1] Reference: Onlyfans allowed users on their platform to post sexually explicit content and thats only reason they blew up and when they wanted to become more legit they banned sexually explicit content to attract banks and centralized corporateshits. Fun fact: This ban happened 2 days ago.
20  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: FTX exchange offering bitcoin in their partnership with the MLB on: August 06, 2021, 11:55:32 PM
FTX is going places, I will tell you that much. Since Binance earlier last year went on ahead and got into crazy partnerships and dealerships like acquiring coinmarketcap, and what not; FTX is starting to do the same.
FTX made a 210 Million Dollar deal with a eSports Org; TSM just for naming rights, so that the Org would promote themselves as TSM FTX[1] and AND not only that, they also partnered with LCS[2], and now with MLB.
What FTX is doing is the total opposite of what Binance did, they are tapping into areas where there is no involvement of Crypto. They are trying to bring in people who have never heard of Binance and but also want to get into crypto- sort of what coinbase is doing too. And its working for them. FTX is growing crazily in popularity amidst people who don't know cowshit about crypto.
