Here are some of mine :

282  Economy / Economics / Re: Italian Bank offers Bitcoin Wallet Integration in their Online Platform. on: March 20, 2020, 10:54:10 PM
Holy hellening! THis is amazing news! Who would have thought, that in midst of a globally spread pandemic, something like this would happen. This might genuinely help the people in Italy who are having issues with sending or receiving money.

Thank you @vincenzo, thank you for bringing in change in this time of need. If I may suggest, try gamifying the whole experience, as in run some sort of an Online giveaway, or drop in some amount of bitcoin to your Hype users, it will be really helpful for the people in need, and will also help you gain some 'traction.

And please, please try to make this global, oh what I would do to trade, and exchange bitcoin within my bank account itself. oh.
283  Economy / Reputation / Re: [overview] ChipMixer Signature Participants Statistics on: March 19, 2020, 11:52:21 PM
Really nice statistics, I'm overwhelmed by the results, but overall not so bad. The visualization could have been better, for sure, but it's certainly not bad. Which software did you use for the visualization??

As for the pm,I want to think that you just wanted to spread positivity and curb enthusiasm, but a lot of people on this forum hate receiving pms like this, so be on the lookout next time onwards. Also, thank you for spending your time and creating these charts.
284  Economy / Economics / Re: Coronavirus is very harmful to fiat currencies, not bitcoin on: March 13, 2020, 10:17:47 PM
Have you seen how governments responded to the corona virus?

Quite simply, in Italy, the US and elsewhere, they will increase their budget deficit, and add debt. In my understanding, that's very bad for fiat currencies, while BTC will remain unaffected, thanks to the lockdown on money supply.
On the contrary. Its the fact that the whole thing becoming a pandemic worldwide that has caused mass panic worldwide, and the stock market is already facing the consequences and now the crypto market.

I mean, since yesterday, the degree and rate of volatility has been so significantly larger, as compared to the anything that has happened in the past year. Wherever there is a huge situation, there is a bigger issue in the markets, and panic selling is definitely a given.

I will just say, the markets will be back up soon, the precautions that are being taken is extremely well done, and the spreading of the virus will reduce, and the markets will become normal again.
285  Economy / Economics / Re: The Impact of Corona Virus Disrupts the Crypto Industry in China. on: March 06, 2020, 11:00:37 PM
Is there anyone who buys items on AliExpress? Most of the deliveries shipped from China are currently blocked or at least retarded with the virus.
I'm waiting for something for near 2 months.

I watched a documentary yesterday, citizens have different applications to see who's infected in your street, it's a real-time map. The streets are empty, they control your body temperature on every corner of the streets, before going into a supermarket, etc. All the restaurants are empty.
They interviewed a worker saying it's like 1 month since he hasn't gone to work. I believe they never got so long holidays there

It is not only the crypto industry in China (with mining machines shipping retarded, mining staffs in quarantine, and who knows what), it is the entire local economy that is directly impacted, and all international companies sourcing from China are indirectly impacted as well
Yep, it's absolutely madhock crazy. Funnily enough, despite the fact that this whole epidemic has caused global panic everywhere, countries are still scared to put a travel ban on China because they are scared of China.

The crypto and the stock industry on the other hand are lowkey suffering(The Dow Jones fall for instance). But at the same time, a pharmaceutical company who's said to have a vaccine tested for Corona in the month of April had their stocks almost quadruple in the past week. The markets will go the same way, it's basic economics, demand and supply changes over time as the ever dynamic industry changes and responds. People react towards the change, regardless of how big or small it is.

It's kinda the same in South Korea too, they have a live tracking map for all the people affected with the virus with the names being redacted for obvious reasons : https://coronamap.site/

286  Other / Meta / Re: Can you create a signature campaign for OP posts? on: February 28, 2020, 10:19:45 PM
I am usually all in for interesting topics and conversations, so I wouldn't mind this concept being introduced but only with conditions added to it, like if a reputed campaign with good posters have this rule, I wouldn't mind at all. Also the creating post requirement could be a monthly requirement instead of a weekly one to avoid all the nonsensical forced posts.
287  Economy / Exchanges / Re: RobinHood Exchange on: February 28, 2020, 10:03:09 PM

The first thing to mention is that they don't allow cryptocurrency deposits and withdrawals. They have 17 cryptocurrencies listed, but you're only buying exposure to the market, similar to a CFD instrument. You can't use Robinhood as a way to buy and hold real bitcoins.

They're very popular in the stock trading world, especially among millennials. People like their "commission-free" model, but in reality, Robinhood is just increasing the price spread and profiting from its users that way.
I did hear about the withdrawal and deposit, and I'm fine with that, although I'd love if they would allow crypto in and out, but they have their policies and I genuinely respect that.

I actually wanted to get into Robin hood because of their stock trading option, frankly speaking. But it's just too damn very overwhelming to get into, I'm still juggling between options.
As another user has said when you buy cryptocurrency on Robinhood you are not given the actual asset, so you can transfer the bitcoin off etc.

As for the other aspects of it, I just Robinhood to mess around on and trade individual stocks and have had a great experience so far. I have referred a few people and gotten like $30 on 4 people. And in return, they have made around $30 too.

Thank you for sharing your experience, it's kinda something I actually was looking forward on hearing!
288  Economy / Exchanges / RobinHood Exchange on: February 21, 2020, 11:43:25 PM
I wanted to hear thoughts on robinhood, nerdwallet gives them a 5 star rating but I didn't find much about them on the forum. Also, they have somewhat of a randomized referral, where they provide a stock worth from around 3$ to 150$, something like gambling. How's the trading experience so far for the current users over there?

Update:

An update to the thread:

Is there any way to withdraw robinhood funds to a paypal or a non US bank account? Please let me know.
289  Other / Meta / Re: Request an option to cancel a report. on: February 21, 2020, 10:08:34 PM
I mean, it is a good idea, in theory, and the code for implementing this should be relatively easy. Now question is, how demanding is this whole option?

All this could be just directly implemented in the new forum, which is still into the wilderness/hibernation mode. Its a little too baffling that the product has still not been delivered, its been what, 6 years? And millions has been spent only for it to be delayed for so long years?

Small issues like this will keep pilling up, cause apparently SMF is very hard to customize and work with, so yeah there is that.

"I am not lumping you into anything!" [proceeds to make false equivalencies lumping me in with Vod]
HOW?? I am barely insinuating that you and Vod both don't seem to get along well, so move past everything and with your lives.

I know its really easy for you as an uninterested observer to just throw your hands up an call it a wash, but if you bothered to look into this at all you would see all of his accusations against me are completely baseless and a transparent attempt at extorting me into removing the very valid and well documented rating I left for him. Him simply repeating me in a refractory manner doesn't make my statements any less valid, and false equivalence is exactly what he hopes to acheive with this childish behavior, eliciting exactly the response you are exhibiting here so he can create the appearance of this being a two sided thing. I did nothing to deserve any of this and there is no reason I should tolerate it. You aren't helping me, you are negating my claims here creating a false equivalence as if I deserve responsibility for his actions.
If you so want this thing to be done with, I suggest you to lock all threads you have opened against Vod(if any, I recall seeing one, i could be wrong), press the ignore button on Vod's profile and move on. There'll be no end to this, if either one of you keeps giving attention to the other. As for the negative rating, I don't think there will ever be a proper answer to it unless there is an adult conversation between you two without mere arguing. No one else can you help you with that.

Just as a fun little exercise to demonstrate you are projecting upon me, go back through this thread and count how many times you can see me insulting Vod. Weird... pretty sparse if any. You know why? I have explicitly refrained from doing so to prevent the exact false equivalency you are applying to me right now, of which Vod relies on to escape accountability from his own actions. I am very sorry that you don't like the conflict that results from me calling him out on his abusive behavior. I have tolerated it for over 5 years, and I am done putting up with it. The only thing I have been doing in this thread is making a critical examination of his, and Nullis's abuse of the trust system. Nothing more.
If you don't like Vod's interference in your threads, put a local rule and ask him to not reply to your threads, even better make it self moderated and delete his replies if you don't want to put up with him anymore.

Disclaimer: I am still not taking anyone's side in this whole scenario/s, so don't presume random crap.
291  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [BPIP] Bitcointalk Public Information Project [Back in Action] on: February 14, 2020, 11:46:18 PM
Thank you!  The bitcointalk throwback theme is probably the lowest profile with the grey background and similar color scheme to the forum.

Outside of the existing "show bg" checkbox that can hide the image on any theme, I've also had intentions on putting another option under the gear/theme settings menu to allow a BG color selector to pick whatever BG color you want, and eventually be able to customize every color/text/tables/etc.. but there are bigger fish to fry at the moment, and only so much time in the day. Smiley
The color background would be relatively easy to set up, use HTML5's color picker attribute, and assign a small js script that changes the background based on the color, and that is probably all you'd need to do.

There will either be a navigation bar at the top at some point in the future, or we'll expand out the bottom menu. I don't want to clutter the top too much but we could probably do a hamburger menu or something up there.
How about keeping a vertical nav bar on the left side, with the options going from top to bottom, or keep a very small minimalistic nav bar on top of the page. I have mixed thoughts on having a nav bar on the bottom of the page, speaking from a user perspective.
292  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [BPIP] Bitcointalk Public Information Project [Back in Action] on: February 14, 2020, 11:22:54 PM
Hey, the site looks much cooler with bootstrap, different theme UI options, and modified search with Id, but how about keeping a low profile theme? Instead of keeping an image background, keep like a low-profile color theme background, as an option??

Also, thoughts on keeping a navigation bar for easier navigation?
293  Economy / Reputation / Re: Trust System Abuse By Nullius on: February 14, 2020, 10:49:16 PM
Excuse me. Don't lump me in with that description. I did absolutely NONE of those things. I don't deserve to be lumped in with this garbage false equivalence. Whatever you think about other disputes has nothing to do with Vod's behavior in regard to his rating for me. How much more evidence do you need to demonstrate Vod is abusive and a danger to others here? Does he need to be let off the hook for another 5 years? Ten? I went out of my way to avoid him, he follows me everywhere looking for any possible way to inject himself into a situation, antagonize, and throw accusations around in addition to his repeated and regular abuse of the trust system over a period of years. I would love to have no relationship to Vod whatsoever, but he has made it clear that is not only impossible, but is not what he wants. He can't control his obsessive behavior.
I am not trying to lump you into anything. If anything, I am trying to help you get rid of this mess or whatever you wanna call it, and make your life here on the forum more easier. I don't know what is up with Vod's rating with regards to you abusing the system, but I do disagree a little bit with Vod's second rating, that rating has more to do with personal agenda than with the trust/trade system. And both of you, stop calling each other mentally ill stalkers, you both are using the term way too much without even knowing the meaning of it. You're just throwing words at each other at this point, you both aren't willing to have an adult conversation about it, nor are you willing to let it go. Y'all are acting worse than Kindergarten children for goodness sake.
294  Economy / Reputation / Re: Trust System Abuse By Nullius on: February 13, 2020, 02:55:52 PM
So you don't think leaving Vod a negative rating for doxing and threatening to report OGNasty to the IRS is justified? Some how it always seems the one who should just "let it go" are the ones who have legitimate grievances simply because no one wants to deal with it, not because it is what is right. I would also like to remind you that I had let his past abuse go, but it didn't matter, he just continued his antagonism anyway in spite of being rebuked for it by the community more than once.
I mean, I don't want to judge this whole situation between vod and ognasty, and all the other fuckall disputes there are, its all because of ego and pride that y'all are carrying with you. And over time, that ego has grown into some sort of an unhealthy obsession wherein which some of you decided to hire PIs, contact IRS, offer death threats, bounty to stalk someone, and who knows what else. I am not supporting either parties cause it is stupidly ridiculous the way it is, and no one wants to make amends. If you dont like each other, ignore the person and move for the sake of hell, and remove them from your trust lists. But stirring more drama up has made no positive affect on any of y'alls lives so all of you're winning no oscar here.
295  Economy / Reputation / Re: Trust System Abuse By Nullius on: February 07, 2020, 11:54:40 PM
Are you guys still fighting behind this? Come on, y'all can forgive and forget.

I mean, Quickseller and Lauda had a dispute for years, and if they could come to terms with each other, you can too. And if you can't, you both can go your own ways, remove the negative ratings from each other(make it neutral at least), and ignore each other in-definitively. If y'all are grown enough to write proper English sentences with fancy words, y'all can also be a bigger person and let it go. ❄️
296  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bittrex even more dubious, iz it a hidden scam? on: February 07, 2020, 11:35:22 PM
By the way, Bittrex died long ago when they changed the TOS with verification.
Those mudafuckin bastards.. THEY TOOK MY 200$ UGH.

Bittrex is a big scam; frozen accounts for a yes for a no, the minimum investment thresholds are too high, and cannot withdraw its assets. And to top it all off, I suspect they hacked me the little BTC satoshis ($25) pretty much because of inactivity! Are very tricky and not secure at all! Don't recommend this exchange
Bittrex ain't a scam, you're just freaking out, like a normal person. But bittrex did become a shitty-ass exchange when they changed their TOS, all their withdrawal limits, which sucks hentai dicks but yeah what can you do. Try creating a support ticket, its a lost cause but what's to lose here?
297  Other / Meta / Re: Most informative posts in 24 h on: February 06, 2020, 09:58:23 PM
Someone pray tell me, why is this thread in Meta again? And not in others or trash? I like the idea of top 5 posts, but half these posts are russian/from ANNs, and I don't understand shit.
298  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [List] Instant exchanges on: February 04, 2020, 03:01:45 PM
i still see lots of people who swear by changelly (some of whom posted in this thread). it reminds me of the situation with BTC-E a few years ago: the vast majority of people had no issues with them, but a few people got selectively scammed. that was enough to paint their bitcointalk account red, but nevertheless, BTC-E was still widely trusted across the entire ecosystem. i used (and trusted) BTC-E until the day they were taken down.

maybe there is some middle ground here?
I mean, the same logic could also be applied to yobit also then, because not everyone on yobit has been scammed either. But will you recommend people to use yobit? I don't think any sane person would willingly do so.

I had genuinely thought changelly and shapeshift could change the exchange game in the market back then, and the change did happen, but in more of a negative way, so yeah I wouldn't recommend people to use changelly. Keeping changelly's name on the list is pretty much recommending people to use it, and I don't think the name should be on the list.
299  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [List] Instant exchanges on: January 31, 2020, 10:47:08 PM
Okay firstly, thank you for this list, it feels good to have multiple alternatives to shapeshift. The KYC requirement for their exchange saddened me to quite an extent. I have heard quite a lot about flyp.me, so I might give it a go. Also, Coinswitch seems amazing, its apparently an instant exchange that takes offers from other exchanges, automatically trades for you, and sends you your desired currency. Gotta admit, its pretty dope.

Also, why keep exchanges like Changelly and Changehero on the list? They are shady at the least, and if people use this thread as a basis to go changelly and get their coins stuck or anything, then the whole point of this thread would be in vain.
300  Economy / Reputation / Re: Trust System Abuse By Nullius on: January 31, 2020, 09:55:07 PM
Okay a few things, I don't think TECSHARE should be red-tagged for having his "controversial" opinions, or for his way of things. People have traded with him, and things have gone smoothly well. I think, that should provide as a base of making him trustworthy enough.

The system is of trust, and not trade yes, but the trust only comes from a trading perspective. Again, red trust means, you believe the person is very likely to scam someone. So if you believe tecshare is someone who will scam others, than tag away by all means.

But tagging someone just because they have exchanged words with you, or has a different opinion on things, doesn't morally feel right(IMO) and doesn't make him a scammer. Cause, negative trust pretty much represents behaviors of a scammer. If you don't trust/like someone, remove/exclude them from your trust list, that's what it is intended for.

A red tag would make sense if the person in question has never traded with anyone, and gives opinions that make the person feel untrustworthy like. But if the person has a good enough trade history, a red tag would definitely seem a little harsh.

Funnily enough, TECSHARE and QS are both not the kind of people who would scam others, but are still red-tagged(but yes, QS and Tecshare are both very different different people).
