10 btc buy up will give us a marketcap of $1m. This will make me more active for sure. The higher the marketcap the more people are interested in their investment! The higher the marketcap the more people are willing to donate also. I had written my UTC off but now i see green roots Im reading this thread again. Great work buy the new guys! We need to get on a Chinese exchange! their volumes are insane!

with Max's power in the media and his powerful friends (financially and celeb status) he could make Startcoin have a marketcap of $10million if he really tried im sure. The question is why isnt he  . . .yet

Lots of people seem to be slating Startcoin on here the last week which tells me they want to drive the price down. This along with a third bottom tells me we r going up!!

As someone mentioned how did you (paul) get the password for the offical ultracoin account without speaking to Steven? And where is the development pot that Steven had?Huh

I Appricate what you are doing, I really am but I think you are hiding what you know

i think a boost in marketcap would give everyone a lift and get people "interested" again, not to mention motivate David more (not that he isnt but you know what i mean)
2308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [START] StartCOIN 2.0 - The digital currency for crowdfunding on: February 17, 2016, 12:18:46 AM
Why would people be selling st these prices?

great concept! Plead with people to buy into Ultracoin spending all their hard earned income on it ($20k in my case )and once they have sit back and do nothing and watch their investment turn into pennies. You are dealing with a new global currency here not a 2 hours a month hobby! If you cant do the job why did you oust Bumface?

name and shame this bellend

Don't get me wrong I think David is a great Deb and very active!

considering all the millionaires involved in this none of them seem to be buying that much - daily volume never passes $5000

It's quiet because we have nothing to discuss. We are all waitin for our awful dev to leave so Steven can get someone in who knows what's he's doing. In the mean time we just sit and wait . . . What else can is investors do? We have done our bit and invested heavily in this project like the owners wanted.

If you take on the roll as an altcoin dev you don't do it for 20minutes a month as a hobby. People such as myself have invested $15k+ in this project.

Ultracoin needs to attract more buyers/community members. we had them but due to bad Dev work and management they have gone. a financial investor needs to be found! All top 10 coins have millions. We had the unique fast transaction speed. That was a very attractive selling point!
Devs are busy with accumulaton of those cheap coins. When they buy enough they will release some news and pump the price. Pretty simple.

There's no volume at all and no devs! Nobody is buying. Not at the levels you are talking about.

Hello everyone,

There is currently an issue with the wallet that may cause the wallet so terminate randomly, Kracko believes he knows why and is currently trying to isolate the problem and release a fix.

As for developments, I was just looking at the UTC game plan for 2015:

1. Android & iPhone - QR Codes - Lite Wallet - GUI
2. Merchant Services Pluigin
3. One Click Miner
4. NFC Wallet
5. Bitcoin/Ultracoin ATM
6. New Ultracoin Website
7. Hire Developer and Marketers
8. Ultracoin Shop

Now that the new wallet is out, the one click miner shouldn't be too difficult, especially considering we are glued to our current N-Factor. As for the Bitcoin/Ultracoin ATM and NFC Wallet, that will come with more time and money when we have greater investor support. As for the merchant services plugin, third parties seem to be tackling this issue fairly well, the best thing to do is to get more third party support like we have with companies such as coinpayments. Until then, here is our line up for development projects in order of priority:

1. One Click Miner
2. Ultracoin Shop
3. Android & iPhone - QR Codes - Lite Wallet - GUI
4. Hire Developer and Marketers (Currently accepting volunteers)

The one click miner shouldn't be too hard, and should open us up to a many GPU miners who lack experience in crypto-currency. The project was undertaken by a freelance developer a while ago, however, he was never able to bring the project to fruition. Kracko believes he should be able to iron this out fairly quickly. The Ultracoin shop will be undertaken by me and will feature Ultracoin memorabilia including t-shirts, stickers, etc. The next step is the Android & iPhone wallets, this is a big step and something we have put on the back burner, we currently have a working version of an Android wallet, however, the CPU usage is so demanding it is impractical for regular users and will drain battery life just updating the blockchain. We have been looking into lite wallet systems, whereby the user only downloads the blocks necessary to validate transactions that make up the users Ultracoin, thereby eliminating the need to download a substantial amount of the blockchain. This will be our next important step. Lastly, hiring more developers and marketers has always been a goal for our expansion, but the capital required in a non-profit project like this requires a lot of private funds, and we are currently accepting volunteers, but we still have our eyes on potential developers and freelancers who are want to become a part of the team at a reasonable quality to price ratio for their time.

Sincerely,

Steven "Rapture"

so to clarify please with over 90% of the year gone, which of these have been done? You promised all this would be done and you have done 1-2 of them. I see you have a busy month ahead!!

I'm sorry, but this is the worst wallet I ever dealt with. It's so unbelievably slow to start and to sync and now that it's synced, it sometimes randomly start to use all CPU cores for hours even though it's completely synced and it's not mining. The wallet itself barely responds to any clicks, RPC commands time out frequently and it does this even with maxconnections=1 so it's not a syncing/peer issue.

what do you expect - Ultracoin must have the worst Dev who only does anything when he can be bothered and seems to not be as knowledgeable as other altcoin devs. Cant wait for this to rise so we can all cash out!

I like this coin and been following it on and off since January 2014 and I get that such a huge database of blocks is pretty demanding but other coins have managed to build a decent wallet with decent resource managenet and database caching but this one is making me want to pull my own hair.

It wont rise with comments like this...

What do you mean?

Comments saying you will cash out if it ever goes up

It wont rise with a dev that doesn't code properly and isn't developing anything which makes people buy it

May I suggest we do something different from other altcoins and peg it making the price more stable? Maybe that will catch the eye of investors and become for adoptable for companies etc. We have to be different in order to stand out! UTC isnt ultra fast anymore (which is why 90% invested) To peg it would require a good developer though .. . .
