1901  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you prefer at this time, invest in mining rig or just buy bitcoin? on: November 13, 2017, 07:54:21 AM
We know the setup for mining a bitcoin will cost you a lot now, so do you think instead of buying a setup just use the fund to directly buy bitcoin?
Neither. Altcoins are on the rise finally and investing in bitcoin won't be a good option as the price has been going down from the moment the fork got suspended. It would be better to make some short term trades with specific altcoins and quickly benefit from it.
Mining rig for bitcoin cash would be extremely profitable as bitcoin cash is of the latest trend now.
1902  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When BTC will be back on track? Unconfirmed transactions are pumped up on: November 13, 2017, 05:53:24 AM
We still have 100k of unconfirmed transaction in the blockchain, And most of them are small transactions that cannot even go through and sitting there for almost 2 days now, Any estimation when BTC will win against this BCH? We cant blame those miners too as whatever is profitable they will be there.
We have those many transactions unconfirmed because of the shift towards bitcoin cash we are experiencing. Bitcoin cash supporters are growing by the day and we should have  seen this coming from the very moment bitcoin gold was announced and now that segwit2X is also suspended indefinitely, people claim bitcoin cash to be even more successful and some even want bitcoin cash to replace bitcoin, well for this all the credits go to bitmain and antminer respectively, they successfully  brought knife to a gunfight and are giving the opponent a tough competition.
1903  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NEO price predictions? on: November 13, 2017, 04:30:00 AM
Hello guys! I'm curious to see what are your price predictions for NEO.

1) For the end of 2017

2) In 2018

Thanks!
Neo is a great coin, so here is my view :-
1. End of the year 2017:  32-35$ by the maximum
2. During the year 2018: Most probably should go to 50-60$,it would be extraordinary if it exceeds more than this but then you can't say on how will the market forces of demand and supply will cause the pricing. Neo has a lot of reputation so the price might even concede 80-100$ ,but the possibility of such a circumstance is very less.
1904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we transfer to Bitcoin Cash now? on: November 11, 2017, 03:28:35 PM
I want to know your thoughts about Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash. Is Bitcoin Cash really going
to take over the No. 1 spot?
See,the thing with bitcoin cash is that nobody wants to believe in it,people believed in bitcoin gold and they saw what happened to bitcoin gold. Many people thought Segwit2X will also be fail just like bitcoin cash(but bitcoin cash was never a fail),and one of the main reasons why segwit2X stands cancelled. 30% of miners only supported segwit2X and this lead to suspension of the project indefinitely.

All this happened and meanwhile, bitcoin cash was on the rise from the very moment people realized bitcoin gold was a terrible fail. And now look at the price ,it has reached all time high of 1,300$.
1905  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: buying XRP now on: November 11, 2017, 11:27:37 AM
in the last few weeks XRP has fallen, I believe that in november XRP will skyrocket because in my country there is a project with big fund that will enter using XRP ,, but this project still in planning ,. if I succeed in negotiating XRP will be pumped high in november .. then from that I suggest to the traders immediately invest funds in XRP
XRP is going to be pumped, all rumors and all those bull shit signals claim that XRP will be pumped in the future, now I am not sure if the pump is going to be caused by the project you have mentioned or will it also be a pump-dump strategy by the whales. XRP has the 4th largest market capital as per coinmarketcap ,but the price remains low because of tremendous supply,so whatever may be the reason for the pump, something or the other will cause the price to go down.
1906  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why did the price of bitcoin rise so much in 2017? on: November 10, 2017, 08:36:47 AM
The price of bitcoin was less than $1000USD in Jan. 2017, but it jumped to above $7000USD in Nov. 2017. Could anyone explain why it rose so much in the past 10 months?
The demand forces acted aggressively. More and more number of users made this happen. Popularity of bitcoin has been at its very best this year. Forks helped in increasing the price. Stock market investors started talking about bitcoin and some even started investing in it. Billionaires like Bill Gates and Warren Buffet gave their own opinion on bitcoin and a lot of people who thought bitcoin was ponzi scheme ,started to believe in bitcoin.
1907  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gold set to release on: November 10, 2017, 04:38:10 AM
I still don't trust the team of bitcoin gold, they first of all did not complete their work on time(it happens but when you're a new unknown team, such mistakes are considered as weaknesses). Also, bitcoin gold is a shitcoin and I don't know what will be it's use in the future when people dump it.
Majority of people will dump I bet, and move that money into alts. I will gladly see my alts pump a bit when that happens.
I think most of us figured it out after the bitcoin cash fork. Alts have a really good chance to be pumped now, also because of the fact that there segwit2X has been suspended indefinitely.
1908  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Apart from bitcoins and ethereum, which crypto currency would you invest in? on: November 09, 2017, 08:33:19 PM
We all know that bitcoin has been the choice for majority of people followed by ethereum.
But apart from these two which crypto currency would you like to trade/invest in?
What would be your strategy and would it be any different than how you dealt with bitcoins?
 Grin Grin
There is something called ICOs and gambling sites. ICOs are just like shares in some aspects and get listed in exchanges. If you invest in gambling sites, some of them pay dividend. Apart from that trading is a lot more profitable and each time the coin which is being invested is usually determined on the Basis of a situation.
1909  Economy / Speculation / Re: SW2x cancelation will crash Bitcoin on: November 09, 2017, 07:41:27 PM
SW2x was Bitcoins hope. Now that scaling bitcoin is once again out of sight for the foreseeable future,  we can expect prices to fall back to levels before there was any hope. People will look for scaleable alternatives again as they did before.
We can easily fall back to 2500-3000 levels within a week. 1000-1500 within a month is very likely.
No hope, no value.

There is one small tiny ray of hope still, one, the fact that CME group of trading will list bitcoin in the future, which would make the demand and supply forces to be hyper reactive. Bitcoin, since it has crossed the 7.5k$ mark, a lot of corporates are thinking of making some use of bitcoin, this is going to have a less impact but still there is some hope still out there.
1910  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to understand investing denominations of Bitcoin? on: November 09, 2017, 06:33:01 PM
The high price of BTC is obvious and intimidating especially if your a new player in the game and not as seasoned as the pros how do you explain buying and selling or breakdown of denominations to invest in Bitcoin when you can not afford the full thing just yet.

According to Google :Each bitcoin (1 BTC) can have a fractional part of up to 8 digits so 1 bitcoin can be divided into 100 000 000 units. Each of these bitcoin units (0.00000001 BTC) is called a satoshi. A satoshi is the smallest unit in a bitcoin. This unit is named after Satoshi Nakamoto – the alias of the bitcoin creator.
So you can invest in bitcoin according to your capacity and will. There is no restriction or limit for investing into bitcoin.
1911  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin down after fork? If CME open bitcoin future it should hype to 10000 on: November 09, 2017, 05:24:48 PM
will bitcoin down after fork? If CME open bitcoin future it should hype to 10000
Well, the segwit2X team has stated that the fork is going to be suspended indefinitely and they said that the reason for it is because only 30% of miners supported it and the team also said that they we're kind of not ready for the implementation of the fork, as it would be very very risky and for the sake of bitcoin they didn't want to implement it.

Even if CME group of trading lists bitcoin, it would be terrible because we all know how stock market people are and what all they will try to do as soon as bitcoin gets listed.
1912  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin vs Gold : manipulation through derivatives on: November 09, 2017, 08:24:37 AM
Hi all

I need to have maximum opinions about this very important question. I've been reading quite a few articles about this, and didn't find the answers to ease my paranoia about this.

So, let's make it simple : since some time now, it is possible to trade bitcoin derivatives (the same applies for other cryptos, it's not the point). We all (or most of us) know how gold price was able to be manipulated by central authorities thanks to its future market, allowing financial institutions who have access to unlimited supply of cash (thanks to the Fed) to use it to suppress the price of gold.

One of the aspect of bitcoin is that it is a decentralized mean of exchange that can't be printed, as gold is. In some aspect, bitcoin is the digital gold. But if it becomes more and more common to trade bitcoin futures, and if this becomes more and more popular and done through bigger and bigger financial institutions, aren't we facing the exact same problems that we did with gold ? Couldn't it be that the more popular bitcoin becomes (and other cryptos of course), the more financial institutions will be able to rigg the game and finally completely control the price of it, exactly as they did (and still do) with gold ?
Sadly the world is filled with people who only care about themselves and not for the society and it's welfare. They don't care if it's gold or bitcoin, they see it  as an opportunity and quickly bite on it. The human behavior influences the price very badly on every possible product or service or a want of people. The cycle of humans dominating gold and bitcoin and future elements will continue even if a new variable is introduced to the cycle.
1913  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [Pre-ICO] TRUCKCOIN: For the fastest decentralized global market on: November 08, 2017, 07:14:29 PM
Seems to be a good project, would do my own diligence furthermore and look towards investing in it.
1914  Economy / Speculation / Re: Investing in BTC, ETH , BCH or XRP on: November 08, 2017, 07:21:49 AM
So I am planning on putting 25,000 USD to Buy cryptocurrencies  to hold for long term. Is it a bad time to invest in those crypto-currencies?

if its right time, whats your suggestion ? Buy bitcoin / ethereum / Bitcoin Cash / Ripple ? mixed or just one? how much of each ?

is it good to wait until bitcoin fork ( 15 november ) or not ?

i remember the time i had 100 BTC and i sell them just 30,000 USD, i dont want to lose the next chance, so i need to invest

All four of them belong to very best of the crypto currency list and it would be suggested that investing in all of them will be the best and if by any chance it's bought and sold at the right time, then consider yourself as one of the few lucky people. Better wait for November 15 as this is more important than bitcoin gold fork and this one is rather legit one.
1915  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Meaning of leaving money on the exchange on: November 08, 2017, 05:51:44 AM
Hello,

I was doing some research on Bitcoin trading.

http://prntscr.com/h76g3r

What does this mean by "Ideally, when trading, only deposit to make a trade, then get your money off the exchange." from the link above. I took a screenshot from an article.

Does this mean, if i take a trade on exchange GDAX and close it the trade with a profit of say $300, I need to withdraw $300 from GDAX instantly? Or does this mean, don't leave extra money in my GDAX trading account that I will not be used for trading only?

Thanks, still learning.
This is just precaution that most experienced people in crypto advice to newbies so that they don't experience the same mistake like the experts. Because you never know, no matter how reputed and how big the trading volume is and extreme security measures will also not be able to stop hackers from hacking the exchange. It's always advised that people need to keep their crypto in a hardware wallet for their own safety of their hard earned money.
1916  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What does it mean for crypto currency exchanges to be shut down in China? on: November 08, 2017, 04:50:31 AM
Does that mean that the market for BTC gonna slowly stagnate due to Chinese not being participants in market?
Are there any other ways to trade in China but through different trading platforms from other countries?

Also, would that mean that peer to peer exchanges are still allowed and were not touched? If that’s the case, I don’t even see a point of China blocking the big corporate websites.
Some say that bitcoin trading will be unbanned in China soon and old exchanges in China like huobi and okcoin have decided to make a peer to peer platform for users. China is also going to start is own exchange, reports say. Now till what extent this is true or not no one can say right now. Chinese officials haven't made a statement about it yet. China's real motive is being hidden for why they are trying to take crypto currency out of their country.
1917  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin pricing on: November 07, 2017, 08:39:55 AM
Why the price of bitcoin is changing quite fast....Why so?
Many reasons for it. Like the upcoming fork and CMC group of trading is going to list bitcoin on their stock exchange in the future for trading. So much hype is present in the market now and I wonder what will be the state of the market after the fork. After a few weeks, let  stable and then you might not be that suprised, volatility ratio is too high now.
1918  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Scalping Trading Indicators on: November 07, 2017, 07:47:32 AM
For those traders into the Scalping/day trade what are your best indicators that have more success on your trades?

I have been setting up with Bollinger bands with Stochastic Oscillator for better confirmations,  MACD has led to to several false signals.

You seriously follow those signals? What are you 12 year old kid? A day trader has his own strategies. By the way the people who mention such signals already pump that specific coin before mentioning and when people start to buy they immediately dump it leading so many people to a quick loss.
1919  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will be the Value of BTC at December 2018? on: November 07, 2017, 05:54:53 AM
Many rumors about BTC value
What can you say about this...
BTC will hit 10,000 USD next year?
How much do you think?
10,000$ is nothing the price can go further more. But then the factors of economics come into play. So these factors are the main reason for bitcoin pricing and this is often considered as a Barrier as well as a price pumper. It's hard to say what the price of bitcoin and in one year a lot of shit can happen. Bitcoin can crash and the price will go down, one of the possibilities. Or it can continue rising and face a crash and again rise up.
1920  Economy / Economics / Re: Central Bank of Uruguay announces launch of own crypto currency on: November 07, 2017, 04:40:49 AM
Central Bank of Uruguay announces launch of  own cryptocurrency, lets discuss, what effect it will make for their economics.
Finally some one is trying to do something new here. Launching a crypto currency is not a problem, the problem is generation gap and the rich-poor divide. Poor people will find it very hard to get used to using crypto currency and rich have a lesser chance to find it harder to use. One more thing is that some people's ego will not let them use crypto, they will use fiat because they have been trusting it right from the birth.
