PWhile I may have compared a portion of your action to that of quickseller's, I never claimed that you were (an alt of quickseller).
You do realize you're blabbering on and on..

1762  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think BTC will above 20k start of 2018? on: December 22, 2017, 03:51:59 PM
Everybody ask that BTC below 10k nowadays, but do you think BTC will above 20k start of 2018? should we invest? coz its near to 10k and i sold everythink and wait to below. what do you think about it ?
2018 wouldn't start with 20,000$ for bitcoin, because this is the correction period, one or more whales have already dumped their holdings of bitcoin, and there is panic selling again taking place,so not firmly sure on the the price rate will be on New Year/January 1.
1763  Economy / Speculation / Re: *POP* Goes the bubble! on: December 22, 2017, 03:04:30 PM
Oh boy, this is too great a Christmas gift.
I've been warning people for months.
All the worlds leading experts in the field have been warning everybody for months.

Biggest bubble in recorded history.
I don't even want to know how filthy rich a few have become with this and how millions have lost their savings! Hilarious!
Wasn't this expected by most of the speculators and traders. I saw a video today, wherein a guy who apparently claims himself to be a "bitcoin-advocate" ,said that Bitcoin has never crashed and it will never do so. Well, what amazing luck he has bought in,such wonder, much wow. I legit started laughing at that guy, feel sorry for him though...

Biggest bubble in recorded history.

Ikr. Don't know if I should feel sad 'bout this. Shocked

with if they don't payback the loan this is not only illegal but outrageous
ADMIN PLEASE SUSPEND USERNAME: VOD
Vod ain't a dumbass you idiot. He has a clear and a level head than most of the people on this forum and he gave you a negative feedback because you asked for a huge amount without any collateral. The sticky in the lending sub-forum clearly mentions No Collateral No loan
You can file a case in the police department, or in the FBI, I'll give you a heads up on what will happen, they will think you're retarded and will send you away.
P.S. the admins and the moderators are only going to ignore you. So good luck. #butthurt af

1765  Economy / Reputation / Re: [User Generated Mk III] - Known alts of anyone Mk III on: December 22, 2017, 01:10:28 PM
Even though,@Timelord2067's accusation of us being alts is baseless,a lot of people have been caught as being alts by praising each other but they were dumb. The facts are out there and this is just a waste of time, its crystal clear that TheUltraElite and pugman aren't alts.

Like the alt known as quickseller, you are talking about yourself in the third person - either that or you have forgotten which alt you have logged in as?

In either case Archived for future reference: http://archive.is/BJ91y#selection-3497.233-3505.12
@Timelord2067 ,I have got to say, I'm quite ashamed on the fact that you're targeting people who are trying to help the community that too with baseless accusations. I or TheUltraElite aren't the only ones who you have accused to be alts without any solid proof.
Let me get this right, you're accusing me yet again saying that I'm an alt of Quickseller? Well no, I'm not his alt.
you are talking about yourself in the third person - either that or you have forgotten which alt you have logged in as?

In either case Archived for future reference: http://archive.is/BJ91y#selection-3497.233-3505.12
It's neither, just so you know.

There are better hopes for you, my man, you're just wasting your time here while there are so many more things you can concentrate on.
1766  Economy / Speculation / Re: I Am Seeing RED !! on: December 22, 2017, 12:43:47 PM
A great opportunity like you said for us by  buy again.  Kiss  Finally a correction is seen in the price, a healthy correction for the crypto market. Support should probably come to back up at prices around 10,000-12,000$ , and maybe during the month of January 2018,the prices could go back to the normal price again, so if people are really wishing to enter the market, now is the time, don't end up regretting later on.
1767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple will be $ 3 at the end of the year! Or not? on: December 22, 2017, 10:32:42 AM
I'm now looking at the dynamics of the Ripple course and it seems to me that $ 3 at the end of the year will be fully achievable. Plus the news on Ripple will surely push the course up.

And do you think it will cost $ 3 XRP before the end of the year?
$3 per XRP? Yuck, that's too less, considering how much money is flowing into the crypto markets now. If XRP continues to get in touch with more and more banks, well you can see the price of it going up. We can expect the price of XRP going to like 100$ within a span of 2 years or less. It's not easy to achieve that target but its not impossible, given how underrated XRP is and its centralized too.
1768  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reason behind Bitcoin Dip (Crash) on: December 22, 2017, 08:24:05 AM
I would like to understand the main reason behind the bitcoin dip/crash (whatever it may be). Currently BTC is trading at 12.5K on preev.com, and I am beginning to become scared as to what the near future may hold for bitcoin.
Hold or sell, what do you think?
PS: Please don't just spam this thread with:"Sell now, it will crash" or "Don't worry, it will go up". Base your points on facts that drive the discussion forward, not just general terms that have been already written down many times before.
You can consider the BCH bull run as one of the reasons. But they also got dumped today with the majority of the alts.  But hey, we all wanted a fair correction in the price, shouldn't we be happy so that we can buy more of bitcoin?  Huh
I'd definitely suggest you to hold, you could have sold and could have bought back immediately to gain some nice profit when the price was around 16-18k but don't do that now, it's risky. Support levels are firmly formed.
Is this a Bitcoin crash? Or is it a crypto crash too? Is it just the holiday season or something else? We can also see on coinmarketcap.com that in essence, almost ALL alt-coins are also down by a similar amount in %.

This should answer your question. Basically most of the time when bitcoin crashes most of the alts follow. As per the image, 80% of the alts have crashed a few alts have gained here and there. Two major gains were in the XRP and KMD markets. Everywhere else it's not a good time to sell, but rather a good time to buy if you're a trader.
But bruh XRP❤❤❤. Sorry for the off topic and the spam here though.
1769  Economy / Reputation / Re: [User Generated Mk III] - Known alts of anyone Mk III on: December 21, 2017, 04:45:51 PM
"Scumbag" and "asshole" appeared because the original thread where Lauda was accused as being supportive of ChaosChaser many people started shaming the OP with these words and that was the place where I originally reported these people as alts and the first few god tagged.
Again if you are ironically trying to mock me because I could not set-up a proper proof of ZeusIsBack and AngelFalls by showing that my account and pugman's account are alts - then I accept my mistake and advice you to remove ZeusIsBack and AngelFalls from the spreadsheet.
Dude, you don't have to get angered on this. Cool down..Christmas is near ,have fun, party ,and go for vacation or something.⛄️
Everyone has their own views and opinions, let them share it.
I was online in order to do some changes on my account for email notifications. How do expect me to reply to every thread even time I come online? Besides this forum is not everything in life for me. Also its Christmas time and I am also busy with my household work.
Oh ,the latter seems fun. Shocked
TL;DR
I am seriously upset and hurt at the same time. While I am trying to fight the good fight against account sellers and scammers the people who are supposed to back me are accusing me with false claims. Furthermore I will no longer participate in this discussion or make any reports in future unless Lauda starts his own self-modded thread.
Don't be so upset, you're trying to do good for the community, people who have the ability to understand will understand, otherwise they won't,just let it go.❄️❄️❄️

No I am not an alt of pugman or any other person in the forum. This is my only and only account here. Praising one another is seen in forum everywhere else but does that stand as evidence of one person being the alt of each other?

If that would happen then every person would be an alt of every other person in the forum Roll Eyes

TL; DR
Can you post the chat logs in the form of images? It's too too long to read like this. Plus, if it were images it'd be less possible for a scam here because normal text messages any one can just make up on their own and claim it to be true.
1771  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: deleted topic on: December 20, 2017, 08:25:47 PM

Hello and greetings dear pugman,

I am still learning the ropes. Will it be convenient for you to please guide me.

1. Who do I send the chat logs to? Do i post them here?
2. Decoded has done his work and there is no disputing that. In good faith we agreed but although I covered the escrow with some BCH I had, I could not cover his part. Still trying. I do not have the liquidity to pay Decoded now. I have provided one of the proof, of losing the BTC I had that I lost to a Trojan, on the thread. Its out there for everyone to see that I do not lie. I do not need to lie. Until I get some liquidity in BTC I am willing to send more than the equivalent in our tokens to Decoded or put some of our tokens in escrow. I will pay him and have taken personal responsibility of it. Therefore, what do you suggest I do in these circumstances?

Look forward to your kind guidance. Thank you so much for your time in advance.

Thanking you again,
Best regards.

Hello,
You can provide the chat logs, here, yes.
You're a team but still you say *I*? How do you survive on your living? Did you offer decoded the tokens? The tokens aren't on the exchange so he may not go for it, maybe decoded will be needing bitcoin, as it's much easier to convert into fiat .
Yes, I did read the post where you mentioned about the Trojan attack, that's hard to believe to be honest. After all, people have come up with worst and better excuses too and still scammed people. I'm not saying you are a scammer but there's a chance. Try borrowing a loan and pay him, at least people will not lose trust in you and your ico. That's the least you can do. There are so many options you can explore, but I'll leave it down to you to decide on what you plan to do.
Good luck.
1772  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: deleted topic on: December 20, 2017, 07:33:19 PM
Hello again dear aTriz,

Hope you are doing well.

In short, dear aTriz, the contract was cancelled about an hour after we sent the email that ventefruss refers to. It was because a spreadsheet with "word to word" translation was shown to us. Thats not what we agreed. So he/she said that excellent quality translation work will be presented. And since every human deserves a second chance, we agreed conditionally, that just one or two small documents such as the one page be translated and presented. If we like the work, get it approved by our staff, we accept it, and he goes ahead. Otherwise we cannot. This was explained clearly but politely.

Thereafter, he committed to us that within 10 hours we will get the sample which never showed up for days. When the translation showed up, and this time not just the one pager but a bunch of 6 whitepapers etc., we thought alright still not bad if the quality is good. However, unfortunately, the translation was horrible; not just horrible but gives a bad meaning too. So we respectfully told ventefruss to kindly get that proof read by good professional translators but before that please send it for an opinion to anyone he/she knows to give him/her the comfort level that we are not lying or avoiding payment.

To this, he started threatening and blackmailing. We do not want to nor intend to cheat or scam anyone but we will not be threatened or blackmailed by anyone.

Thats the truth. Now you please tell me dear aTriz, he demands 100000 of our tokens for the kind of work he presents and then lies saying it was 1% of translation bounty. Does this not demonstrate a bunch of lies and greed on his part? I am still saying I will escrow the full 100000 tokens until you guys, the legendary members resolve this. If I am wrong I will pay the price with my job but if ventefruss is proved wrong, then what do we do about our image which he has tried to tarnish and defame us with his lies and baseless accusations?

I rest my case with you and trust your decision.

Thanking you again,
Best regards.

Provide the necessary chat logs you claim, and the OP should also do the same to avoid confusion. @p2psf, you still haven't paid @decoded right? Pay him for his work till now ,provide the proof, and try to sort out this mess before things get way out of your hand and gives a negative feedback to your ico investors.
1773  Economy / Economics / Re: convince me about it all on: December 20, 2017, 07:00:33 PM
I do believe in them. Just like in every business I do, I like to compare both benefits and risks.
The fact that more than 90% has less than 20k usd in coins, is demostrated. And it's not like I head about localbitcoins for the first time, lol.
It's only about scepticism, which I learned is the key to success in whatever busibess.
Dude, bitcoin is not a business. This is what I call confusion(one of its many forms), it's okay if you're confused ,no one is going to do something to you for that. I'm telling, again, I agree to disagree on your statement that states 90% of crypto users have less than 20 k, that's just blatant assumptions.  I agree with you on one thing, being sceptic on certain scenarios, every where else it's mostly otherwise.
1774  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's happening to Bitcoin? on: December 20, 2017, 04:05:05 PM
Bitcoin is taking a huge plunge!
Are you guys selling to be safe, or still hodl in the hope it will go up again?
The swing was very much expected, for the bitcoin futures listings are over now. And the bullish run by the BCH whales also played quite a role there. A lot of people want the prices to crash honestly just because of  the fact that they want to buy more, including me..
Here's a suggestion people, you can cash out your bitcoin for Christmas and go for a vacation ,right.. Cheesy
1775  Economy / Economics / Re: convince me about it all on: December 20, 2017, 12:36:20 PM
Im not confused at all, I've been trading for years on exchanges.
Just I don't see such a bright future for cryptos to be used by the majority of the population.
They simply won't, because, at the moment, there is actually no reason at all a persons should prefer to pay a transaction via cryptos over fiat or any other traditional method (paypal ecc).
Let's be honest, those using crypto are those who believe in the world's changing and those speculating the most they can.
90+% of btc holders have less than 1.0 btc.. I mean, claming a revolution on 2k usd that became 4k..
I'm not saying I don't believe in that, I'm holding tons of cryptos myself. I just don't think that things will be easy as most ppl believe
You're kidding right? Do you even know how many people have lump amount of bitcoins stored in their hardware wallets?
Things may not be easy but people have to man up and deal with it or be a wuss and run away.
Wait a minute, you say you're holding tons of cryptos but don't know how trading works? The OP clearly states so. Correct me if I misunderstood.
You don't believe in cryptos, fine, not an issue here. Everyone has their own views and opinions.
1776  Economy / Economics / Re: convince me about it all on: December 20, 2017, 07:06:35 AM
Okay, seems like you're really confused here.
1). For making a transaction between two cryptos, then you don't necessarily require an escrow. There's an exchange for that. An exchange is nothing but a medium where you trade in other words buy one crypto and sell another at the same time. And store the cryptos in the exchange even though such is not recommended as exchanges are having a lot of issues, hardware wallet is still the best option.

2). Best option for you to sell bitcoin would be to sell via https://localbitcoins.com ,where localbitcoin escrows funds for safety of both the parties. When you sell in local bitcoins, you have to provide your bank details and then the funds are sent to your bank first and then you ask the escrow to release the funds.

3). The governments can ban cryptos but they would have to face a huge consequence later on, that is they would lose 600 billion dollars and it would lead to black money dealings and this would lead to more and more corruption. Governments wouldn't want to do that. So if you're afraid of this, don't worry, you're good to go.
1777  Economy / Economics / Re: Israeli PM: Bitcoin Could Replace Banks on: December 19, 2017, 06:12:26 AM
Banks are financial backbones of an economy, how can bitcoin on its own over take banks which have been there since forever. Bitcoin is a currency, banks are institutions. There should be alternative for this and a backup sort of thing. You cannot let an entire economy's financial support rely on bitcoin, such volatility may somehow ruin the whole economy. I'm not being a pessimist here but the facts need to be laid out straight up. This idea seems to be absolutely ridiculous but it's not impossible that bitcoin cannot replace banks but the likelihood of such is too low.

Level of awesomeness for pugman and TheUltraElite.

So far between the two of them they have identified sixteen UID's - Fourteen of which are connected to each-other while the last two are connected but not to the first fourteen.

Why ZeusIsBack and AngelFalls are connected? This has been confirmed by lauda and the discussion was in this thread in these two pages.
http://archive.is/KgonO
http://archive.is/MlIpc

This guy is trying to sell accounts as well as an alt of this AngelFalls and his related alt accounts which have been neg tagged previously.

Um no.

The word Zeus is not mentioned in either archived page, so there is no connection apparent.

Zeus does not appear in the spread sheet, and angel only appears twice for un-related UID's.

ZeusIsBack and AngelFalls haven't been connected.

However, AngelFalls and ChaosCauser are connected with identical posts which makes them seperate from the other fourteen.  I'll give a half mark each extra bonus for finding AngelFalls and ChaosCauser

For their sixteen found jointly: pugman (½/8½) TheUltraElite (½/8½) Uncanny given how many edits both users' posts' have had.

pugman identifies yet another alt of Humbertin, so gets (1/1) for that find.

So.   pugman (1½/9½) TheUltraElite (½/8½)

1779  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Can You Say On Bitcoin's Transaction Cost? on: December 18, 2017, 07:02:59 AM

The scalability problem of Bitcoin has been magnified with the recent ridiculous rise of transaction cost charged by many wallets to their customers. Many are complaining especially those small transactions as they sometimes cost more than the amount of Bitcoin being transferred. We are complaining because Bitcoin is supposed to be this way -- the whole thing has already become like an auction where we have to bid higher fee so that transactions are not trapped somewhere. There has to be a good solution to this perennial problem otherwise this is like shooting the very foot of Bitcoin and a very bad insult to its own name.
Agreed, I once had to transfer 0.001 BTC to some other wallet, the fee itself was 0.001 and hence, I was just spending everything on the fee and the wallet on the other side will have nothing. Was quite despondent at that time, but then the price had also increased so I just let it go and decided to move on. 15-30$ only for transaction is not worth but if you want to send bitcoins to some other wallet or something, you need to pay that much or pay less and wait forever to get confirmations.
1780  Economy / Economics / Re: A Putin Aide Is Eyeing Cryptocurrencies to Beat Sanctions, Report Says on: December 18, 2017, 06:45:28 AM
Quote
An adviser to President Vladimir Putin said cryptocurrencies may help Russian banks avoid international sanctions, the Rambler News Service reported Tuesday.

Sanctions against Russia have created an “objective need” for the digital currencies, Sergei Glazyev told a meeting of the presidential administration on the legal status of such instruments, according to Rambler. Glazyev also argued that the government could use cryptocurrencies to make and receive payments around the world for “sensitive” services, it said.

Russian officials have grown increasingly nervous about a possible expansion of U.S. sanctions early next year in retaliation for alleged Kremlin meddling in the 2016 presidential election, which Russia has denied. Virtual currencies such as bitcoin, which has soared in price this year amid a rush by investors to buy the instrument, could help bypass any such U.S. measures because they allow users to remain anonymous.

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree last month allowing the government to classify purchases by the Defense Ministry, Federal Security Service and Foreign Intelligence Service as state secrets.

Glazyev, who’s himself under U.S. and European Union sanctions for his role in the 2014 annexation of Crimea from Ukraine, isn’t always in the mainstream of Kremlin policy making and has suggested in the past that Russia should liquidate its dollar reserves. He advocated creating a digital ruble based on the blockchain technology behind cryptocurrencies at Tuesday’s meeting, according to Rambler.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-12-12/putin-aide-eyes-cryptocurrencies-to-beat-sanctions-rambler-says

....

I would be interested to know how compelling people find this news story.

Paper fiat is much less traceable than bitcoin and likely a far better option for illegal activities than bitcoin or crypto currencies are.

It is known that the united states military routinely "loses" billions of dollars in fiat & billions in military hardware all of the time:

Quote
$45 Billion in Tax Dollars Goes Missing in Afghanistan

Hundreds of millions of dollars are missing in action in Afghanistan, and auditors are blaming the Pentagon’s flawed accounting practices for the problem.

A new report from the office of John Sopko, the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR), revealed that there’s virtually no way to know what happened to a large chunk of money the Defense Department spent in Afghanistan before 2010.

http://www.thefiscaltimes.com/2015/04/01/45-Billion-Tax-Dollars-Goes-Missing-Afghanistan

Somehow I could never imagine something similar happened with crypto.
TL;DR
Russians are some what assholes, they keep on changing their decision and just cannot stay on one decision. Wait for some more time and see what Russia has got to say.. They will find an "alternative". Yeah.. Don't know bout Afghanistan but for a country like them they need to be careful bout their financial reserves and check on expenses regularly.
And money has been lost in crypto, remember when people bought bitcoin back in the day and now they don't know where they kept it.
Fiat seems like the best option for anything illegal, it is strange to me how the media continues to claim bitcoin transactions are anonymous or untraceable when the open ledger design of its system suggests the opposite.
Hey,media says bullshit all the time, that's their basic job. They say shit without knowing shit and people believe in that shit. #Flabbergasted.
