1561  Economy / Gambling / Re: To what extent do you chase anonymity while gambling? on: October 10, 2022, 01:24:58 PM
This is the privilege of playing in Cryptocurrency based casinos, you are not exposed and you are not in danger of getting your vital information sold in the black market, anonymity in gambling is very important for players it keeps you safe from having your financial capability and your status, that is why the Cryptocurrency based casinos are on the rise, majority of players will always choose protection and they can get this protection through anonimity.

I'm not sure about this because nowadays most of casinos has KYC, I'm not saying the casinos sold your data on the dark market, but if the casino gets Hacked then the personal data of their users could get exposed to the bad guys and sold in the dark market.

Cryptocasinos doesn't provided anonymity at all, they need to know who their users are to avoid money laundering, it's one of the rules from the license providers.
1562  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: REFLEX ACTION IN GAMBLING AND TIPS TO AVOID ITS PITFALLS. on: October 10, 2022, 01:57:32 AM
Those are some great tips from OP, if we follow them then our loss of money and time will be minimized.

And i would like to add another point for those tips:

*Play with the brain and not with the feelings.

That feeling about a win getting close could be a huge risk for us, and most of the times it will end with a huge loss in the run.
1563  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I helped my dad bought some Bitcoin last night on: October 09, 2022, 05:39:53 PM
Okay just to clarify. From my Binance account, I sent it directly to his Binance account & not a non-custodial wallet. Then in his Binance account, we used the "Convert" option to other crypto so we converted USDT to Bitcoin. Hope this clarifies a lot.

Exchanges are not wallets, remember, not your keys not your coins. You should create a paper wallet with vanitygen, then send the coins to that address, and then give the private keys to your father.

I think that's the right way to give bitcoins to our family, and they can hold them on a secure way, if they want to sell those btc then they only have to import the address on a wallet like blockchain.com or Electrum.

This is just an advice, is important for the users to know the secure way to giveaway coins.

1565  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Nudge.io Launch! - Blockchain Powered, Passwordless Authentication Web Server on: October 09, 2022, 03:39:33 PM
Nudge is the foundation of a decentralized web that works for everyone.

Your web is not decentralized... Only you have access to the code and the money  you charge for the service goes to your pocket:

Quote
$59/month per developer
https://nudge.io/pricing

And the fact that only you set the rules and only you are able to modify the site, that makes it fully centralized.

So, don't use that word if you don't understand it's meaning.
1566  Economy / Gambling / Re: Regulations & Gambling projects on: October 09, 2022, 03:30:09 PM
It's a tricky question mate because the regulations are different on each country. And there is where things get weird because you can be USA and your server can be in India while your gambling license is in Curaçao. So, the question is what regulations are we talking about while your business base was created in 3 different countries.

I think in the future there will be a 'Internet Global Regulations and Normative', but right now is really tricky the way that gambling operates.
1567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Support Casino Operated By The Bitcointalk Members on: October 09, 2022, 03:00:52 PM
I would like to see a project like that, created by the community and managed by them.

Start a casino business isn't easy at all, you need to be sure that your code is secure enough to go online, then you need a bankroll and then a license.

So, isn't simple but isn't impossible, and the main factor for success is the trust, so if the casino is managed by trusted members of this forum then they should get a huge amount of new costumers.
1568  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When You Heard About Bitcoin For the First Time? on: October 09, 2022, 01:02:50 AM
In 2011 was the first time someone mention bitcoin to me, and i didn't put attention on that time and just let it go. 3 years after that i made my first bitcoin transaction, and it's fun because in 2014 i was feeling like i come late to this party, but with the years you learn that this party isn't over yet, and you are never late for it.

The bitcoin community and the way to buy it and sell it was totally different, now it's really simple.
1569  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: Donar a Ukrania on: October 09, 2022, 12:48:53 AM

1570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lack of bug bounties from gambling platforms on: October 09, 2022, 12:43:45 AM
...
The better sites have a dedicated security team that works on security all the time of their site.

I don't think these engines have a security team... The security comes from the development of the site, so the coders must know about security and apply that knowledge while they code the site. And have developers on one side and a security team in other side is a big mistake, that must be done together.
1571  Economy / Gambling / Re: which casino has a lot of action on their Plinko game? on: October 08, 2022, 05:12:28 PM
I do not know which site have huge wagered but for me plinko game is always bitvest because there is no other plinko games that can custom on your own and play with huge multiplier

If i'm not wrong Stake is the place with the biggest max win on plinko right now, you can chase the x1000 with $2k to get a profit of $2M. There are some videos on youtube about people hitting that jackpot.

And that feature on bitvest about building your own line with the site odds is a really cool feature, Those lines who win in the middle are the good ones to roll, even if they payback is low.
1572  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: El double spend Mexicano on: October 07, 2022, 09:52:05 PM

Grin
1573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 13 years ago... on: October 07, 2022, 03:43:20 PM
It makes me feel good and proud of bitcoin.

Maybe we come late to this party but se it grow that high just proves the success of the project. And is important to quote Satoshi words about bitcoin.

Quote
In a few decades when the reward gets too small, the transaction fee will become the main compensation for [mining] nodes. I’m sure that in 20 years there will either be very large transaction volume or no volume.

Satoshi made his bet to be a huge success or a clear fail. And now we see how the technology grow and become part of the global economy.
1574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lack of bug bounties from gambling platforms on: October 07, 2022, 02:43:28 PM
There are multiple reasons for this.

Casinos don't want to attract hackers to their sites because some kind of attacks can crash the site. And if an attacker finds a huge vulnerability they could take the money from the site and that more than what the casino offers as bounty.

But what i have learned in the past is all casinos will pay a bounty if you report a bug by the proper way. I have reported bugs in more than 5 casinos in the past years and all of them pay me a bounty, the only one that freeze my balance and claim that i was attacking the site was primedice, in that time i was collecting evidence to report the bug but the site block my account with 0.03 btc on it. It was my fault, i should report the bug and not exploit it to collect evidence.
1575  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mexico is the next El Salvador? on: October 07, 2022, 01:30:31 PM
In Mexico bitcoin is legal, but isn't considered money, for Mexicans Bitcoin is a Digital Asset...This means it isn't considered money as El Salvador did. And the difference between a Digital Asset and Money is: With money you can buy and sell things and get an invoice to pay taxes from the transaction, but with a digital asset you only can trade it for other products, and you can't get an invoice from that trade.

So, the answer is No, Mexico will no be the next El Salvador.

1577  Local / Español (Spanish) / El double spend Mexicano on: October 07, 2022, 02:38:11 AM

1578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I find way to win on dice on: October 06, 2022, 10:10:14 PM
Do only 50% bet 20$ every time if it fails do 60$ it fails do 150$ if it fails do 350$ if it fails do 900$ if it fails do 2300$

There is no way you will fail 7 times and if you do just increase the bet and you will get it back eventually even if you wait 12 times.

what you think on my method?

Your method isn't new, it's called martingale, and if you really think you can't lose 7 consecutive times you are terrible wrong.

I would recommend you to use a dice simulator to see how how you can't win in the long run. A bad streak will always hit you, and that's how dice works, with good streaks and bad streaks.

I remember when i played dice for the first times, i get the idea that i was impossible to lose 6 consecutive times at 95% chance to win, but i learned by the hard way it was possible.
1579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Casinos by categories on: October 06, 2022, 04:02:01 PM
Hybrid casinos?  Grin

Accepting Both fiat and crypto payments or options for gamblers on whatever they do prefer on using up.Both options are available.
Also hybrid means, integrating Sportsbook and casinos is also available on the said platforms.

Dont know if this one fits on that category but this is what i do commonly see nowadays.

I was literally thinking about it before I saw your reply. I would like to add here that Hybrid casinos are those which will have KYC and licenses as they were the first fiat-based casinos and slowly integrated crypto into their payment and it all started in 2012 with Bitcoin being the first accepted as payment.

I like the Hybrid casinos concept, i don't know if we can deposit fiat and withdraw crypto with them, but if it's possible that would be a great feature.

What about Bullcrap casino?

Casino that is known scammer but still freely operating and have a daily customer being scammed. They can still use the forum for marketing despite they are already proven scammer with a lot of proof available and with ruined reputation/ active flag. This kind of casino has thick skin to ignored all valid scam complain and operate as normal business day.  Cheesy

I like this term, and we have seen some of this casinos in the past. And day by day we see more of this. That's why i call the trap casinos, because didn't want to use hard words for them but in the end the right term could be "Full of Bullshit casinos"  Grin
1580  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: Otra forma de pagar Bitcoins on: October 06, 2022, 02:30:12 PM

Tongue
