Do you have a habit of tracking your gambling progress?

I manage my gambling progress through the money I deposited as bankroll, if the money has doubled before the half of the month then that means I'm doing pretty well in gambling. When I check and I didn't see much money than they bankroll, it's a signal for me that I'm not doing and I should either adjust or just hold on and look at some games I have played from my play history and if there is no profit after 2 weeks, I will quit immediately and see where I want to adjust we and review my games and style.

Sometimes I track my progress and look at some games I hve won back in the past. This works for me sometimea that I do revet that kind of game because casino might have forget those games you and if you are lucky, you will win a ticket for sijc game but it doesn't really has to be the way it was selected from the first game that was won.
202  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: March 07, 2024, 09:23:01 PM
Madrid won narrowly but i dont think it was a mistake because after all the goal of Madrid is just to qualify not to win very big so regardless of the score the important thing is that they qualify it is a very good situation.

Although sometimes this makes it doubtful whether or not Madrid will be able to continue to compete, I don't think it will be a problem because after all, to be a champion you dont need to be a club that always wins with a big score every time because the most important thing is that they qualify and continue to eliminate the opponents they face.

When the match started, Real Madrid was playing offensive and defensive game which was good mechanism but goals where not coming, no short on target on time but as soon as they switched immediately to offensive style, they scored a goal by Vinicious but they made a mistake by not moving back to offensive-defensive game and that's why it was quick for Leipzig to equalized that goal in just 2 minutes and Real Madrid went back defensive after 70 minutes match for the time left in that match.

I d Real Madrid had the opportunity to scored many goals, they gladly use the opportunity, they will used it because sincerely, that match was below average, not what I expected from Real Madrid in the Champions but since they are out of the group of knockout to Quarter final, then I wish them success and how to beat Manchester City when they later meet in the Quarter final.
203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: March 07, 2024, 09:14:16 PM
Do you guys think that Aston Villa will be able to recover after the lack cluster performance that they had a little while ago?

What I understand is that the coach is really good and he has done really well to bring any great results. But when you don't have the best squad, you are only going to be able to do so much before you start having problems. But I still think they are performing pretty well. And they have shown great improvements. Even if they can finish in the top four, ahead of Tottenham, it is still going to be a big achievement for them in my opinion.

Aston Villa should be more careful of Tottenham taking their place than worry much on finishing first, mostly likely they can't finish first place unless the top 3 teams experience worst performance but is that even possible right now? I don't think so. Arsenal is 6 points away from them which means they need to make atleast 3 wins in a row or even more before they can over take Arsenal but you will agree with me that Tottenham are yet to play their 27th match that was postponed.

If Aston Villa really continued the way they started the season, the only team that would probably be competing with them will only be Liverpool because they have so far lose only 2 games. The best Aston Villa can do right now is they don't lose any matches from henceforth else they risk sleeping in the 5th place which is going to be automatic qualifications to Europa League instead of the Champions League.
204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Even as a sport fan be careful! on: March 07, 2024, 09:06:25 PM
Two Brighton supporters were stabbed in Rome last night ahead of tonight's Europa League round of 16 first leg tie against Roma.

Rumors says they were away supporters, and the showoff was immense. I feel there is a need that if a Fan goes on a vacation to watch a game in a foreign country. They should be security conscious, observant and stay out of unnecessary banters that could lead them to troubles or death. It a game for fun and merriment not something we should take too personally to heart to cause trouble.

There is more to this story that was covered up by the media. It's either there has been some beef between the supporters or the fans and things got out of hand. I mean two people were stabbed and the culprit wasn't caught by anything. If the game happens in the stadium, then there should be something like cctv camera somewhere around the stadium that must have capture the moment and whoever did this need to be brought to justice unless they want this to always happen often in stadiums.

It's so sad now that football that has been an entertaining for many years, racism and abuse has not stopped. This happens many times that Fifa always says nothing and be printing flags everywhere on Jersey of players for no to racism and yet this measures are not working. They should use some fans as scape goat but I forgot that they will lose revenue and that's their main target. Undecided
205  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is Satoshi Nakamoto Alive ?! on: March 03, 2024, 08:43:09 PM
What do u think would be the Impact of Crypto world if  Satoshi Nakamoto is Alive and come out on Public ?
would we have a strong Bear market ?!

If Satoshi comes online, it's going to spark a lot controversies and I think US will be focus on finding out who is real Satoshi than the investigations they are doing right now. I don't think Satoshi would want to compromise Bitcoin with too much talk and will appear with his means of identification. He might be around us or even in the Forum and nobody will ever know, that's the advantage you get been a private person due to good privacy.

Some of these addresses especially the genesis address, hold more than the 50 BTC mining reward as some Bitcoin users occasionally send BTC to addresses belonging to Satoshi as a tribute.

As in January of 2024 an unknown user sent 26.9 BTC valued at about $1.2 million at the time of the transaction, to the address Satoshi used to receive the first ever Bitcoin block reward. This transaction brought the holdings of the genesis address to almost 100 BTC.

If Satoshi was going to move this wallet, he would have done so since. What I need you to know is that, these wallet you see that people are wasting time on waiting for Satoshi to move these Bitcoins from their respective address might remain there forever. Satoshi might have another Bitcoin in his wallet sitting somewhere in even the latest segwit and nobody will know nothing, he create Bitcoin which is censorship resistance and freedom, he should know better how to move his wealth in Bitcoin without anyone knowing. So relax.
206  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving don't make wealth on: March 03, 2024, 08:18:44 PM
Sincerely the concept of savings has made some persons poor, but many won't realize the fact that saving don't make the difference but investing does.
Am not saying saving isn't good, but my point is saving doesn't make one wealthy, the worst advice we recieve is  'save for tomorrow' but only few lay emphasis on the need to 'invest for tomorrow'.
So I would greatly say we invest some of our profits from bitcoin in to other stuff, than just holding it or using it for pleasure. The rare truth is how we believe bitcoin can change the game, so other systems are developing so we shouldn't be blindfolded.

The concept of saving is just bad especially in the traditional finance level, it's a system that don't let you progress but it enrich the people at the apex level.

Though, I must admit that you need savings like for emergency needs such as hospital bills, house bills, education, this money are not money you must invest, they are money you keep aside for sorting out things when the time is right. Investing this money is like taking a risk that will might hunt you later because emergency funds are not to be used for investment.

However, if you are saving money because you don't want use the money and you keep it in the banks, then that means you don't know what inflation is about, you don't understand the monetary policy and you don't know how the banks operate and how they used your saved money to make more money whole you get nothing because the interest rate for savings are too little and not worthy. It's better to invest.
207  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin prospects on: March 03, 2024, 08:09:17 PM
What are the limits of Bitcoin’s rise... and is it a strong and consistent rise... and what are the most prominent implications of this rise and its most prominent results?

Bitcoin price can go any amount, it doesn't has limit as it's not confined in any form but there is big implications as to how it's been move. Take a look at Bitcoin growth in the 2018 bull run, Bitcoin was quick to touch 20k but it didn't last long or even a month before it crashed and that was because the price was quick move, there was nothing like accumulation, just spike and wait there for a while and then it dump. Anytime Bitcoin price pump and it doesn't accumulate and consolidate enough, people will always assume that level is fake and manipulated and it will be quick to crash.

Our problem with people chanting that Bitcoin will do these and that, even if we reach a new all time high# majority of people wouldn't be able to see there because they wouldn't know we have topped already, they will be calling for another higher price meanwhile the top is in and what they think is retrace is actually dumping to a good global support.
208  Economy / Economics / Re: keep pleasures without incomes aside and Chase after profits on: March 03, 2024, 07:49:18 PM
As a woman she is, I clearly understood that they are attracted to pleasures especially on activities that attracts public attentions. These species of humans (women) fails to understand that it is money that afford those pleasury materials and activities they craves for which one has to utilize himself logically in economical situations so as to create financial balanced system before chasing after those financial consuming activities without the potentials of yielding incomes.

I hope that your wife is your best friend right? I am not married but one day when I am ready to settle down and take all responsibility as a man, I will marry my best friend and I hope you have done the same because best friend understands each other more than they have misunderstandings. If she knows you have an investment, she ought to be understandable enough your reasons on not providing flashy lifestyle that she wants, she need to know the value of investment. However, if she fail to understand your intentions after all the talk, I don't think these is going to be the only misunderstanding you guys will have, there are many more that might come later, so be prepared for whom you marry as wife.

I just think that since you have your money on investment like Bitcoin, you shouldn't have proceed to marriage when you know such things will bring problems, you know the kind of woman you marry, you know better and see better than most of us here that are dropping our one cents and opinions.
209  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Coin suspension on: March 02, 2024, 08:52:59 PM
What happens when a coin is suspended? How long does it take for binance to release from suspension? Especially from conversion.

I think a lot of people that were quick to reply didn't get what OP is trying to ask. He is asking suspension from conversion. What I observed about Binance is that when they add something there must be a reason for it and when they suspended something, there is a reason for that as well. If Binance add coin for conversion, it's because there is demand for such coin and if they later remove it, then it means they don't see demand and are not making money from it again. So OP, I hope I answered your question.

Binance don't suspend coins but when there is upgrade, they suspend deposit and perhaps withdrawals. They don't stop the trading in spot but they may suspend the future trading of that coin but they don't suspend any coin. If there is a reason for any suspicious move, they can only halt deposit.
210  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Or Investing which one is better to focus on right now? on: March 02, 2024, 08:37:36 PM
We all know that We are in the bull run or bull market as they say and Bitcoin has reached its previous ATH and most traders don't know what will be the next move for BTC and some of these Altcoins are literally following the pump of BTC as well, as most are not genuinely pumping in their own accord.

So now, what do y'all do? As for me, I just invested in some coins I believe that will surge in few months while I observe what the market is doing.

I want to know what guys do. Are some of you trading the market regardless or some of you are like me, investing and observing the market

If you understand trading, you will make money as well during this bull run while trading. Why I will recommend holding is that a lot of people don't understand trading that much but a lot of them think because it's easy to see green everwhere, they want to trade but by the time it shows them the real side of trading, they run away from it and by then, the lost will be inevitable.

Hold the coins you have bought but don't be greedy when you have enough profits to exit, there is no forever holdings here because if you think and believe that coins are going to go up forever, then you're on a long thing, you will be surprised how fast it's for coins to dump and hard for it to pump. If they are even Altcoins, ones they are done pumping and crash, it's always difficult to go up again until another bull run comes or if the coin get listed in big exchanges like Binance where you can see spike candles which are very fast to dump again, so you have to be smart here.
211  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What can I do to be successful in trading with my small capital on: March 02, 2024, 08:10:17 PM
do i need to an expert in trading before someone will be successful.

There are many ways you can make your capital blow big but the question is, do you even know how to trade? Do you know how to follow the trend, do you know how to use technical and fundamental analysis on trading. If you do and it's the money that you lack, here is what you should do:

Margin trading: In this type of trading, with your small capital the exchange will borrow you money to trade any coin of your choice but the leverage is not more than 10x, this means you can get upto 10x of your capital so you can use it for trading but as a new trader into margin, the max they give is usually just 3x just to protect you from liquidation. You need to understand that liquidation is unavoidable if you don't know how to trade properly and make use of risk management.

Future trading: This one is like margin but different, you can use any leverage upto 25x to trade where contracts bind two traders of opposite opinion of shots and long. If you believe that a coin will go up, you will long on that position and then the exchange will bind you with another trader that think the coin will go down but don't forget it's very risky because liquidation can make you lose everything if your margin reduces.

I might have advice you to try these options but as a friend, I will advice you to make money and face spot trading, it's the only trading that is less riskier. The rest I mentioned above are highly risky and you can lose everything if you don't understand trading.
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Someone have my wallet phrase on: March 02, 2024, 07:56:10 PM
What worse case scenario given then fact I have only 14$ on this wallet and of course not intend to deposit anymore funds to that wallet

You probably have mistakenly exposed your wallet seed phrase somewhere. The way seed phrase is structured, it can't be broken by anyone, not even a hacker can break the special functions it was pass through to create you a seed of 12-24 special words. It's either you didn't back it up well in safe place or you did back it up properly but you didn't keep it in a safe place and another person has seen it and was fast to send it out to another wallet destination.

What you should do next time, if you want a safe and secure wallet, you should use a hardware wallet. It's more secure and safe than the software wallet. Unless you exposed your seed phrase to anyone, it can't be compromise because your keys are actually not connected to the internet. But, it doesn't mean you should misplaced it anywhere unsafe or in unsafe hands, if they know your pin, your coins will be wipe off. Stay guarded next time.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quick profit is the only reason why we invest in Altcoins on: March 02, 2024, 07:37:20 PM
Investing in Altcoins had been what so many invested have been looking at these period. Believing that bitcoin's bull run will surely influence the price of the altcoins and hive them massive gains. Literally if bitcoin rises altcoins follow suit but this is the only reason i see that makes potential investors to invest in Bitcoin. There is no other interest as they feel its unsafe to store value or wealth, cant be used for p2p transactions and it cant be trusted to hodl for long. If you think there is any other reasons that makes investors put their money in altcoins feel free to share. I would love to know.

Instead of quick profit, what if we use "huge profit"? Some altcoins since they last pumped in the last bull run and crash, they have not pump yet and that's in between the space of nothing less than 3-4 years. Coins like Solana had an incredible run back then but everything crash, one of the worst moments for many investors and people that didn't invest because it sent bad message about crypto but today, it's one of the coins that has had a good recovery after all the drama.

Altcoins can give you 10x without doing much work, they can print you more than you can expect and this profits are big but subjective to your capital, this is the main reason why I think a lot of investors like altcoins. The Bitcoin return is great as well but because it's little in return due to it growth and that's why many don't like to put money into it like altcoins especially the ones with low market caps.
214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The shocking rate of women interested in gambling. on: March 01, 2024, 06:21:31 PM
Also the rate at which women are now picking interes in gambling is so alarming, there are a good number of female punters on the media with good fanbase and they give good betting advice, we all know that gambling does guarantee 100% success but if you follow their predictions you could get atleast 60 to 70% chances of winning the bet. That's to tell you how well women are now involving in gambling and as time passes there's a tendency for more women to indulge in it as well, since the social media have made gambling more popular and the fact that it involves sporting activities makes that more possible.

Are we shocked and flabbergasted with this recent turnup of women in gambling? Like have we not seen how passionate women are with football and other sports? No, these is common trend everywhere majorly in the Europe part of the world and many other continents where football are been played. The gambling aspect could be because they have been hiding it and they aren't extra high drive with gambling like the way men are, they are not taking it too personal when they lose that's why you don't see cases of addictions been reported like the male gamblers.

Another angle of this increase in numbers is unemployment rate and inflation, when people are hungry and don't have opportunity to make money, the next thing that comes to their mind is alternative to make money which of course so many people see gambling as. We have increased in number of not only women but even the kids that aren't kids which I personally see as bad thing, the government need to take right measures to fight inflations in where it's affected and provide jobs opportunities with better pay to make people remove eyes completely from gambling since people are doing it to make money.
215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: March 01, 2024, 06:00:58 PM
I also think like that after seeing the achievements and strength of Arsenal and Bayern Munich this season, so it is quite possible that Arsenal has the potential to be a more serious threat to Manchester City than Bayern Munich in the Champions League. Because the tension in the Champions League is still quite high, a team that is experiencing internal problems will not be able to perform better in the Champions League, unless they are blessed with luck.

Champions League is wild, the teams you underrate are the ones you later see working well in the League and so many questions comes to your mind like, what's really happening. However, if there is any of the team I'm seeing in the final even before the conclusion of round of 16, it's Manchester City. These guys are in fire in the Premier League, very soon at the top, their game has recently just been improved and that was the intervention of Kevin Bruyne, the current best play maker of Manchester City and best in assisting.

Arsenal going through is what I'm not sure and confident about the team, they couldn't a single short on target for 90 minutes in the round 1 of their knockout, only lord knows what they are going to play next in the round 2, I don't don't know what to expect from them but my confidence in their Champions League has decline. Bayern aren't better either here and in their domestic league.
216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mom won 50,000$ in Lottery on: March 01, 2024, 05:46:43 PM
This is a story where a mom thought she won 5000$ in a lottery (which was already a big amount) but later discovered that she won 50,000$. That is indeed one of the best things in her life and it just changed her life.

Most of us spend our whole lives participating and thinking that one day, we will win the big lottery but it seems an impossible thing. However, when we see other people's winning and changing their lifestyle, the hope of winning among us keeps alive.

Lucky her, I hope she doesn't go back and I waste the win thinking the way of winning is linear but I think for someone that won $50k will know and understood better.
They say different stroke for different strokes, some people has the luck embedded in them, the star is always around them even if they are not that good but somehow, the know how to win.

I will be waiting for the day I might win the same thing, even if it's not up to these, half of that amount is going to go a long way but cut1, cut2 don't allow someone to achieve such dream. Sport bettors can relate very well with what I'm saying. The day you don't flex your bets are the days you have the cut1 which is very annoying and flexing of games which is limited in some betting platforms reduce the amount you win when you flex, like reduce your earning power by one-third. Gambling is all about luck.
217  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 01, 2024, 05:36:28 PM
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp have been the manager of the club since he signed for them in 2015 and was able to win many trophies for the club including helping them to win the English top flight championship for the first time in 30 years as well as helping them win the UEFA Champions League competition but earlier this year, he announced that he's going to leave Liverpool at the egg of the current season which have sparked reactions among fans of the club. Also the club's overall top scorer in the last seven years Mohammed Salah is also being linked with a move away from the club at the end of the current season which have made a lot of people to be worried about the future of the club. To many, it is the end of an era but what's more important at the moment is how Liverpool will survive with the most important figures of the club in the last one decade.

So far, Klopp has won atleast a single English trophy for Liverpool, I will say his 9 years in the club is worth it even though the trophies weren't consistent, he deserves to be celebrated and accolades must be paid to him but I also respect Liverpool team for been patient because even the season they win nothing, the club is not bother and don't push him to the wall, unlike Chelsea that want a coach to be sack for failing to perform better but I understand them, the club has not been better in performance not take of winning the league.

Quote
In the coaching job of the club, I think Liverpool will get a good replacement for Jurgen Klopp if only they can successfully convince current Bayer Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso to sign for them at the end of the season because the young Spanish manager have already proved beyond every reasonable doubt that he possesses the managerial experience and qualities to manage any top European club with what he's been able to achieve so far with his Bayer Leverkusen team. In the search for who replaces Mohammed Salah at the club, I think there are young talented wingers in Europe and other parts of the world that can perfectly replace him but the club's scouting team must be at their best to get that player that'll best replace Mohammed Salah at the club.

Xavi Alonso has a good resume but is worrying that he hasn't win leagues of recent? They are having good run for the season in the Bundesliga and no loss game yet for the season but we know that even with strategy, a coach doesn't do it all on it own, the players, particularly the defenders and goalkeeper are the major players that play a keyrole in cleansheet. Let agree that Leverkusen will let him go if the demand comes, they will suffer a new challenge because Salah is leaving the team as well. It will take time before they get in form.
218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: March 01, 2024, 05:21:17 PM
If a club doesn't fight harder, the relegation zone becomes a spot to deal with. Brentford will hosts Chelsea this weekend at their home ground stadium. An important win for Chelsea because they have no good records against the home team but fighting harder wouldn't do any significant pressure. Brentford have suffered crucial defeats in their previous games and this have become a thing to worry about. The Bees headcoach, Thomas Frank will become an ultimate pillar for the club, he's not responding nicely to the present condition of the club.

A club can work hard and still get relegated because other people that are in the competition are far ahead and stronger than them. Look at Luton town, Burnley and Sheff united. They were recently promoted after winning the top 3 in the Championship to the Premier League but because they are not used to how Premier League is been played, they are not winning matches like other teams and the are sitting below relegation zone.

Another could be as result of unexpected circumstances, Everton is a living testimony of these. They got there points has been deducted by 10 because of financial fair play of 2020 and they were demoted down in the table to relegation zone but they are trying their best to remained solid and unbothered because they are now in number 15th place in the table. If not for this point deduction, they should be above Chelsea or even more but because of that deduction, they didn't perform to their full potential.
219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do not gamble with Loan Money~otherwise you will be in danger like me on: February 29, 2024, 09:26:06 PM
The idea of taking a loan to gamble is bad and totally uncalled for because gambling on its own is already a high-risk thing talk more about taking loan to gamble, since the majority of the time that we gamble we end up losing so why then should anyone take gambling seriously because gambling can ruin one life so for that we have to avoid anything that will put us in an imposing position to gamble more than we should.

In the op's situation, he ended up in more debt that has reversed his life for almost 2 years backwards,  which is something that is a negative outcome from what he desired from gambling before taking the loan, so we all have to take this as a lesson and to try to avoid taking a loan of any form to gamble with.

Gambling with borrow funds is like someone that is sitting on a time bomb, as soon as that borrow money don't bring back anything, regret set in then the next thing that comes to your mind is to find another alternative to pay back and because you don't have a means or source of funds, the next thing that ring in your head is to call another friend to borrow, risk it again so you can pay back the accumulated debts you have gathered but in the process, you loss again and then your loss triple without means to pay back.

Unless you are dealing with addiction, if you don't have money to gamble, you don't have business in gambling platforms, you don't have business making picks from the games, you don't have business even helping others to book for games because it's from there the temptation do come and before you knew it, you have ask people to lend you money to gamble, it's a very bad habit to even engage in.
220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: February 29, 2024, 09:17:58 PM
So true. In my opinion, Newcastle United still needs time to become a serious competitor in Europe and the EPL. So it's natural that they were eliminated in the UCL group stage because they haven't appeared there for 2 decades. And they also performed poorly in the EPL this season unlike last season. However, I am sure that Newcastle United can still compete for a place among European clubs in the future with the club owner from an Arab prince of course he will try to bring in the best players in the future.

Because to be a great team in the EPL league not only requires skill and mentality, but also squad depth with skills that are evenly distributed and not far from the quality of the core team. EPL is the most populous league in the world. because there is League, Carabao, FA, UEFA/Champions, not to mention FIFA friendlies and international cups. You can play 3 times a week, especially on Boxing Day. So Newcastle United still has a lot to improve if they want to become a strong team and all of this requires a process.

It's crazy to see Newcastle that was among the most talked and discussed club that finished as the top 4 but now struggling to stay between top 10, they are one of the team with the worst performance of the season, they didn't make it out of the group stage of the Champions League neither will they be going back again to try again next season because they didn't finish among the top 4 or wouldn't finish rather. Their last game with Arsenal is one of the one I was thinking they will do well and they never did and it's going to be the last I think will watch for their match.

Let's not sugar coat Newcastle performance, Chelsea is going to make a place in the either Europa conference league or the Europa League, the only thing that differentiate them from Chelsea is just a single match and I think because Chelsea has been there, Pochettino recovery in games is likely to bring them up than for Newcastle that has been sinking downward in the table.
