i'm thinking about buying all in....
Where did all the bears go?
342  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: ASICS - How high will the difficulty be on june 30, 2013 on: February 07, 2013, 04:10:05 AM
wtf is wrong with you people that you didn't get the "Over 9000" joke?  Tongue

not everyone plays wow?
Yup,wow doesn't wow me.

On ASICs,It seems all the 'companies' are being super secret and shifty concerning what they have to offer with nothing but promises and artificial dates.I also don't think pics are enough at this point until actual reports on the success of the product comes from at least 10 users. *Throws down gauntlet*
343  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Vote: Do you think Butterfly Labs will deliver their ASICs this month? on: February 07, 2013, 03:36:59 AM
I think GPU miners will be around for a long time to come.Asic is not ready for the Bitcoin scene until puts on the make-up,lol.
344  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Butterfly labs single SC on: February 04, 2013, 07:59:43 AM
The interesting thing is there are some individuals who will be buying multiple singles[highest seen thus far is 9].I'm pretty much expecting individuals not to be able to make back their BTC too soon due to an extreme rise in difficulty if both Butterflylabs and Avalon ship on time.It might actually be a better idea to simply hold onto your BTC and let the value accumulate due to the difficulty rise.
345  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we touch $24 this week? on: February 04, 2013, 07:43:39 AM
Soon(tm),but I don't think this week.
346  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker on: February 03, 2013, 07:05:22 PM
What a rally from last night.I believe it was ~19.60 early morning.
347  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should i allocate 100% of my savings to bitcoin ? on: February 03, 2013, 06:56:31 PM
I did but of course not 100% and can say I definitely do not regret it.Bought BTC last year sold at 15 this year and bought back in at 13 and have kept ever since.
348  Economy / Speculation / Re: Let me see if I can get this right... on: February 02, 2013, 07:14:48 PM
It seems to be right on cue actually. It relieves some of the pressure on BTC being too valuable or more notably called a "correction".
349  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker on: February 01, 2013, 02:18:18 AM
I think everything is on track.I called ~$22 earlier in the thread this week so everything seems to be on target.
350  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy, sell, or hold? on: February 01, 2013, 02:12:03 AM
Exactly right.

But being a miner I'm selling them as fast as they come in right now. But I'm actually keep a large amount of fiat (large for me anyway) on some exchanges to re-buy after the asic induced crash.

I was thinking this.......but then I thought considering when ASICs go popular the difficulty will rise accordingly and considering the rewards are technically halved......BTC would rise again.
351  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker on: January 30, 2013, 07:56:58 PM
well pfft. sold my recent mined btc. figure people are going to buy avalon gear and the middleman will dump them
on the market soon after. be crazy not to.
Indeed, but I think this rally will be stopped by those Miners when the beta silicon has become more mature.
352  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy, sell, or hold? on: January 30, 2013, 07:50:44 PM
Afaic,All signs point to a holding pattern.Buying at such a high price seems too daring and selling right now could bring regret if the price does go higher.
353  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: I see no sudden increase in total network hashrate. on: January 29, 2013, 07:51:50 AM
I just got a 27" monitor from Korea to the Midwest in 3 days if that puts anything into perspective.

But you are talking "western" country to "western" country .... customs between China and U.S. in particular is a tough business, I know because my in-laws ship simple over the counter medicine/vitamin supplements to their chinese friends and even those get thoroughly inspected very frequently, they'll get to chinese customs and then sit there for ages.... sad but true.
I have had en ebay item shipped from a company in Hong Kong to the Eastern US in under 6 days.In fact,my prior job used to do plenty of mail orders from mainland China to the US and they usually took less than 6-7 business days.
354  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker on: January 29, 2013, 06:47:23 AM
So where are the Bears? Or are they give bear hugs to bulls? Kiss

The rallies have been insane.....so who wants to guess the new high by the end of this week? I'm thinking ~$22.
355  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker on: January 28, 2013, 09:19:38 PM
I've been watching this rally carefully and it seems to be much more minute during every push for a rally instead of large gains. This might actually sustain the price provided no one sells quite a bit.
356  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: I have some money. Which ASIC should I order? on: January 28, 2013, 03:33:47 PM

Here are the companies that originally planned to sell ASIC:

Avalon: Released & Shipped, but not taking orders.
bASIC: Cancelled & Refund in progress.
BFL: Planning on release and taking new orders.
Deepbit: Cancelled & Refund in progress.
Thanks for lowdown.I haven't followed the Drama concerning this.
357  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker on: January 27, 2013, 10:34:00 PM
Fun times ahead.

then there's this guy
Yeah,lol!

I doubt $20 can be broken within a week though.
358  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Is it even worth it to buy/order an ASIC single now? on: January 27, 2013, 06:01:06 PM
I think individuals are giving Beta silicon too much credit. It "MIGHT" happen but it will definitely take time and several willing "beta-testers" before anything is taken seriously.I think if one is wise into holding onto BTC one should not also be in a rush to adopt another way of mining for it as well.
359  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: I see no sudden increase in total network hashrate. on: January 27, 2013, 05:56:03 PM
Lol,This is going to be quite interesting....but we all need beta testers. Lips sealed
360  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: The ASIC's are all scams, you just don't know it yet on: January 27, 2013, 05:51:03 PM
I think GPU miners will be around for a long time to come.
